"There is no such thing as coincidences, only God-incidences" is what I read on my door every morning. A little quote my mom typed out & gave to me 6 years ago. Yesterday's trip to SA was planned, but not by me. Saturday, my friends went to SA & I worked all day. I wanted to go hiking yesterday but it rained; so I decided to hit the city. Something told me to grab an extra shirt, my travel vanity bag (shampoo, deodorant,,tooth brush etc.), I looked at my contact case & solution & thought, "Na, I don't need it." Should've listened. I get to SA, meet my bestie & was gunna go surprise visit our other friends. I'm on the 281 exit from 410 and smoke/fumes start coming out the defrost vents, the glove compartment & my gauge started climbing to overheat. I exit Jones Maltsberger & pull into this neighborhood. My truck has so much fumes coming out that we are choking. I open the hood & went to a house to ask to use their waterhose. No one answers. So I used their hose anyways. I cool the engine down & my bestie said, "Hey, I met some guys last night, one is a mechanic & owns his own shop." We called him up & we were less than a mile from his shop. He just happened to be painting his shop at the time. He got to where we were, he temporarily fixed it until we got to his shop. He said it was the Heater Core & of course i couldn't drive anywhere without it overheating. He told me he would work on it first thing in the morning. And then took us out to eat & offered us a ride to a hotel. This guy just met me, just met my bestie the night before & has done all this for us thus far. This morning I get a phone call at 8am to get the total price damage, which was less than anyone in the area, & they had guys working on it as we spoke. My truck was ready by the end of the day. BABY J, you went above & beyond what anyone would have done to make a rough day feel not so rough. What you & your team did for me...I just have no words. With infinant amounts of gratitude, I thank you, my new friend. From getting my bag, an extra shirt, to breaking down at the right place, at the right time & being linked to the right person, just mind boggles me. Trust in Him. "It's all Synchronicity."

I was on my way back to San Antonio when my car started leaking gas, I had to pull over and get a tow truck to come bring my car back to my apartment. Since I just moved here I had no idea who I could bring my car too and not have to pay a arm and a leg to fix it. So I went to Google and read some reviews and liked what I heard about this place. I called up and Jason answered the phone, he was very nice and helpful. Jason told me even if me and my bf didn't make it to them before they closed just to leave the keys in the drop box and he would leave a note for Monday's crew of guys so they would know what was up with my car. So on Monday morning I called them and was just making sure Jason really had left the note about what was wrong with my car. Which Jason really did leave a note and they was looking at it right now. Later on they called me informing me they had finished and explained to me what had happen with my car in a way I understood. It cost me $48 dollars for them to fix my car, I was waiting for the worst news but it turned out great. They even informed me that I needed to get my wheel bearing fixed very soon as well. Which when I am able to afford it in about two weeks I will be bringing my car back to them because they are very great workers who know what they are doing. Top notch place to bring your car, and if your a woman who wants to be respected and not talked down to like your dumb for not know cars this is he place, the guys do not treat you like dumb bimbos at all. They will explain things in a way you get so you know what they are doing with your car. Great place! :)

I backed out of a parking spot & heard a loud scraping of something being pulled off my car! I got off to see & it looked like my whole front under bumper had been pulled down. It was dragging on the street. The first auto repair shop I immediately saw was Auto Service Experts. I went in & got to talking to the guy at the counter, Jason "Baby J" while I was waiting. He was so personable, easy to talk to & entertaining. He is also very humble as he never mentioned he was the owner (i only overheard him on the phone). This humbleness of his made me feel as though he was very honest & trustworthy which is so important when having your car worked on. Did I mention he was getting ready to close & didn't even make mention of it Especially for being a Friday evening! Jason then let his employee leave at closing time & completed the work on my car I had already appreciated all that Jason had done. Then I asked him (after he finished) a seperate question about the liner in my trunk falling... he immediately said "I think I have something for that" & then came out with a box of clips & checked to see if any fit... they did and he fixed that for me as well (as a favour) Granted these weren't large, major repairs but the kindness, courtesy & professionalism Jason "Baby J" showed to me had me leaving Auto Service Experts knowing this will be the only place I will bring my car from now on when it needs anything!! When I think of Auto Service Experts I think of honesty, friendliness. humility, integrity & pride in workmanship. Thank you Jason, it was such a pleasure meeting you & your business!

My van had a bent axle and needed new engine mounts. Midas had given me a quote, but my parents suggested I Google "best mechanic in San Antonio", and I saw Auto Service Experts #2 had great ratings, so I gave them a call. They told me I could bring my Midas quote in, and the could give me a free quote based on the Midas quote. When I got to the store, I talked to Jason, the owner. I gave him my quote, and waited while he looked up parts, etc. He told me Midas had actually given me a fair price, but that he would do the whole thing including tax, for about $300 less!!! I dropped my van off on a Sat., and it was done by Mon. afternoon. Unfortunately, my husband was only in town for the weekend, and all of the car rental places were sold out because it was Thanksgiving Holiday week. I looked up cab rides online, it would have been a $75 cab ride (I live on the far west side). When Jason called me to tell me the van was ready, I explained my situation, and offered him $30 gas money if he could pick me up and take me to his shop. He said he could drive my van to pick me up, and it wouldn't cost him any gas money at all, for free! He took time out of his day to pick me and my son up (we live about 40 min from his shop), all at no extra charge, he was a lifesaver. He even offered to drive on the way back to the shop! I honestly can't remember the last time I had such great customer service! He now has a customer for life!!! Oh, and the van runs great!

Having car issues is stressful enough. But trying to find a place with a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly staff can be overwhelming and seems almost impossible. But I found just such a shop! I recently took my vehicle into Auto Service Experts. I knew I had a few different problems going on with my car and I was afraid I was going to have to go to a few other shops as well. However, I was pleasantly surprised the automotive specialists at ASE could correct them ALL...quickly. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices for the quality of work. The guys there really cared and made sure all my issues were resolved. And a huge plus in my book... Jason never made me feel dumb when I asked questions. He was so patient with my inquiries. Jason took the time to explain things & show me how they work. Love the central location and clean waiting area. So thankful to feel safe on the road again with a reliable vehicle. My car is running better than it has in years! Definitely a lifelong customer. Auto Services Experts will be taking care of all my other vehicles’ needs as well. Get your car there and get it up and running correctly by some of the top mechanics in the city!

Really disappointed when I heard about the experience my wife had here a few days ago. We needed an inspection and an oil change and was told they couldn't do the inspection because of a computer problem. No problem, we'll just take the oil change. After awhile the tech came in and told my wife that the car had a cracked drive belt and it wouldn't pass inspection if it was not replaced. Not only does the state not inspect the belt during an inspection, but they charged over a $100 for a $25 part. Either ignorance or a blatant lie. On top of that they insisted on a new fuel filter and fuel system cleaning. $40 oil change turned into over $300. I will never go here again and I will tell anybody willing to listen to avoid this shop.

I took my truck here after having it shipped from Alaska because one of my wheel bearings was bad and the man I spoke to was Jason and he was very nice definitely knewwhat he was talking about and they discovered more problems i had to have my entire rear differential rebuilt along with my upper and lower ball joints both wheel bearings well I had all the work done and they gave me a free alignment when I got home i noticed a leak from my rear differential took it back the next day they replaced all the seals again and filed it with full synthetic diff fluid for free I will recommend this place to anyone there customer service is above anyone and the work they do is fantastic you can't go wrong with this place

The Management (James) Great Personality...Was HONEST...Knew Exactly What was Wrong with my Truck Air Conditioning....Did Not Charge me for Extra Things I didnt Need....The Price Was Very Reasonable I Couldnt Believe That the Price He quoted was so low ...and It was The Same Price when I picked It Up....Honesty....is important To Me ...And Good Quality...My Air is so Cold ...It wasnt that cold when I bought it new... If you have any car problems what so ever you must go to auto service exerts, these guys know there stuff plus they have all the cool machinery to fix any problem your car can throw at you. Jason the owner is professional and honest his pricing is never the most expensive you pay for what you get plus more! They also do free a/c checks! they can provide a tow if you can't get your car to them also that was convienent. All in all i am one happy customer who will be returning as soon as my next oil change is do b/c they have super low prices on oil changes also!! they are located right next to an auto zone so parts are always close by as well.

Honest and friendly service. Will never try to sell you something you don't need. I've been bringing my cars here for the last 5 years or so, and they're the only place in SA I trust with my vehicles. I brought them an older car with a bad transmission at one point....Jason quoted me the fix (close to 2K with labor and parts) and told me that it was probably not worth putting that much money into a car that old because there would just be more problems that popped up. Instead of being pushy or trying to get the big money job, Jason told me what was best for me. Best auto shop in SA.

Ok so I took my minivan in for what I was sure was transmission issues. When I explained it to the staff they agreed it could be transmission issues. However after doing multiple tests they couldn’t get it to replicate my problems and suggested no repairs. I’m giving this background to say a less honest repair shop could have taken advantage of this situation but these guys did not. I ended up getting my brakes done with them at the same visit which I knew going in needed to be fixed.... Fast service , honest, kept in communication and fair prices. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Nothing pro about this place. Took my car since it was making noises, took all day and at the end of the day the said they didn’t hear anything.... my car literary sounded like it will give out. Took it a second time and they told me they will charge 95$ for inspection since they didn’t hear anything the first time. Only car dealerships with profesional Computers and services that are specific to the model of your car provide you that charge. They even add ubers and other things for that charge. Please go somewhere else if you would like an honest charge.

Summers in Texas can be brutal. And without A/C, things can get pretty bad out there. But Jason and his mechanic really came through for me. Since I all I needed was a vacuum and a Freon charge to my A/C system, they hooked up my truck & had me going in the time it took me to have a quick lunch a few doors down. Professional AND friendly at the same time. Very up-front and on target with cost estimate and time of completion. With the possibility of being transferred by my employer to S.A., will DEFINITELY call on Auto Service Experts #2 again.

I was tremendously Overcharged for mechanic work not done on my car. They provided no clear communication of next steps to take and about the price of the labor and the pricing of car parts I would need to complete the auto work. I feel like I got bamboozled and screwed out of my money. I totally Wasted money and my car is still NOT fixed. I could've just taken my car to the Ford Dealership to be serviced. Do better Auto Pro's these guys are unprofessional. I am a Very Dissatisfied at the customer service and treatment I received by mechanics.

Thanks for the great work! I have used this shop many times through out the years, when I had my Infinity these guys saved me a ton of money compared to taking my car to the dealership. This shop has been my go to place anytime I needed a quick oil change but would also trust them with any of my cars maintenance needs. Anytime I have had to speak to the mechanics here about problems with my car you can really tell they are experienced and care about their customers. I will definitely be returning to this shop in the future!

I have never had such unprofessional and rude costumer service. I'm looking at buying a truck here in San Antonio. The original owner had quit a few big mechanical things fixed on the truck. The guy that owns it can't remember who did the work so I was just calling around seeing if they had worked on this truck. The man that answered was extremely rude. My husband and I are moving from Utah to San Antonio this year and will remember to never go here. They have lost us as potential customers before we are even in Texas.

These guys are the real deal. They won't rip you off like the others. I always recommend people to go here, some do and some don't. But if you don't that's your loss. Master Mechanic Jason is an awesome guy. Example: If you are having problems with your tires these guys won't tell you it's the Axle. They will tell you where you can go to get your tires fixed. I'm a customer or should I say a member for life. #5 years and counting. By the way my car runs awesome courtesy of Auto Service Experts #2.

It was quick in and out, Labor price was bit high but because of quality of work and service which I can understand that. But prices for parts are way too much marked up almost 40-45 %, as because Once I paid them and got my statement I called shop next door advanced auto part for same part price (exact same including company and part number that's on ASE statement )), and which they could have it in within 1 hour for 139 $ (side note autozone selling same part for 109$) and I was charged 230 $.

Bought a replacement part at Advance Auto Parts (which this shop is conveniently attached to) and asked for a quote to replace said part. I was greeted by an employee who proceeded to notify me that my part was "junk" and that he would not replace it unless it was a Nissan part (you know, the one which is broken currently). Ironically the Bitters location of Auto Service Experts did quote me for simply labor, although they were booked solid so I was unable to use them.

I took my F150 in to replace a bad high pressure power steering hose late Monday afternoon and it was ready to go early Tuesday afternoon. I had called around for quotes but this shop gave me the most reasonable price with parts and labor included. While I was there we noticed that the stop lights and rear blinkers were not working. Sheldon and Andrew traced the problem and replaced a bad fuse at no extra charge. I will be taking my truck bad for other repairs.

Excellent auto service. I came here for an oil change and my car was in and out in about 30 minutes. The day I went, there was only 1 tech, so the wait took about 30 minutes. They validated a Google Offer that I had purchased with them with no hassles. The drinks that their profiles state are small bottled waters. I didn't check the wi-fi, but it would seem hard to use a laptop since there are no tables to set your laptop on.

Jason was quik on cleaning out my ac and pumping new freon in. Price was reasonable and fair. I read a few other reviews anout markups on parts. Why wouldn’t you walk next door and buy your part instead of having them buy the part which of course it will b marked up, to me sounds like laziness not like they screwed you. I felt they were honest And got my ac running cool in quik time.

I would recommend this place to anyone. These guys are quick, reliable and extremely honest. Customer service is top notch. I went in with some AC problems expecting the worse. The gentlemen at the service counter helped me as soon as I walked in and answered all my questions and gave me the best options available. The pricing is awesome too, Very reasonable!!!!!! Visiting San Antonio from out of town and immediately had several bad experiences before calling Jason. I explained I was in a tough position because we are here adopting a baby and he went out of his way to move fast on repairing my truck. Even worked till 9pm the day before Thanksgiving to get me finished. Also was $350 cheaper than the previous place. A+ job. Thanks man.

I went to these guys twice now. Once for my alternator that need to be replaced,and recently for my intake manifold. Both times the work and the customer service is incredible. Jason who works at the desk is a cool dude, he explains everything to you in layman terms . If anybody is looking for a shop you can go to for years Auto Service Experts is your place to be.

Very unprofessional, tried to overcharged, fixed one part and break another or sabotage? How can someone fixed hardware problem and i picked up my car with computer problems. Someone need to regulate this people. I tried calling and they never picked up the call. I will take my car to dealership and then find me a lawyer.

James did a great job communicating the exact problem and calling to update me along the way. He also gave a fantastic price compared to other shops in the area. All work was explained and performed to our satisfaction. If I had a question or concern the owner went out of his way to resolve. ASE#2 went above expectation by hunting down a good condition part that was no longer available via OEM. I will take my vehicle back for future needs and recommend to friends or family.

Very over-priced. Jason (the owner) quoted me at $1,100 to repair a power steering fluid leak. I called a few other places and I found a mechanic that can do the same work for $750. I can’t stress this enough - always get quotes from other mechanic shops before committing to one. You can save A LOT of money!

I've taken all of my vehicles exclusively to Auto Service Experts for the last 5 years. The owner Jason is very professional and the staff is great as well. I have been there numerous times and each time i have been very satisfied.- I trust them because they have earned my trust and my business.

This is the only place I will ever take a car. They fixed my daughter's car in record time and at a good price. Other shops estimated bigger problems and a lot higher charges. Then they did some minor maintenance on my car in record time. These guys were friendly and truly know their craft.

I've been here twice for service and both times was not disappointed. They treat you very well, quick service, reasonable pricing. As a female I feel comfortable here and trust the services offered. My husband and I will definitely come back if we ever run into car trouble again.

Auto Service Experts #2 has been my best auto maintenance shop for several years. Quality repairs, excellent communication, accurate and thorough diagnosis of what your mechanical problems are. I have never felt like they were trying to upsell me like other places I have used.

My water pump drive belt broke and I needed an iimmediate repair. Even though the shop was busy the owner (I think his name was Jay) repalced the belt himself. Great service and the price was right. I highly recommend Auto Service Experts. Also, the shop was clean and neat.
