After my visit to the Leicester store (High Cross) yesterday 30/06/2023 I felt I should take the time to leave a review for the store and a particular young man. I was greeted by the sales assistant Archie who acknowledged me straight away and offered help. I initially did not find anything what I was looking for so I continued my search. later on that day I returned after visiting various high end stores with no luck finding my desired outfit. Archie spotted me and was straight over to again offer his assistance. After a very recent hand injury the shopping trip was harder than usual and quite honestly, my patience was running short with the pain and time I had wasted. Archie gave his advice, ran clothes back and forth as I muddled through getting them on and off. The whole experience was incredible. He asked me about my injury and made me feel at ease. After only visiting the store for a pair of chinos (in the sale) I walked out with exactly what I originally came for but better fitting, a new shirt and 2x pairs of trainers and spending 5x the amount I originally planned. After wasting hours visiting other stores, the level of customer service I received yesterday was something I have never experienced in this type of retail outlet before and nothing was too much trouble, I was even offer a cold bottle of water while he packed my bag. With working in the retail sector myself, you do sometimes pick and have a moan to yourself when treated poorly but I also feel you should give praise where it is due (very rare these days) Archie, if you do read these reviews, thank you so much for your time, the advice you gave and the impeccable service you no doubt give to all of your customers. I hope you get some recognition from this review as you fully deserve it. I don’t think I have ever felt so great about spending money! Keep up the good work young man and never change your style. My wife and I visited the store located in the Highcross Shopping centre on the 27 June 2022. My wife had previously called them to check that they had a particular pair of cuff links she’d seen on line. This item was intended for a special gift for someone important. We chose a pair of cuff links which were in a small box and the assistant asked if we’d like them gift wrapped and we agreed. She wrapped them in black tissue paper, she asked another staff member for cello tape but it couldn’t be found so instead used a large sticker with a BOSS logo on it. She then put the badly wrapped box in a large Hugo Boss bag. My wife remarked that the cuff links had been badly wrapped and was not acceptable to be given as a gift and did she not have some cello tape and also the bag was far too large. She called the manger over and she repeated her objection in a calm and patient manner. He replied that we don’t normally gift wrap purchases except at Christmas and don’t have cello tape. His comment was that the bag we’d been given was the smallest they have. My wife said we’d recently bought similar cuff links in BOSS store in Westfield London and they had wrapped it beautifully and the bag was much smaller. His manner was arrogant and patronizing, there was no apology and no attempt at customer service. We couldn’t believe his rudeness and unfriendly approach. He couldn’t care less, we were shocked. At this stage we had already paid for the item, my wife was disappointed and disgusted and said she would like a refund as it was not acceptable to buy an expensive item for a gift and not have it presented in an attractive manner. The assistant agreed to refund the purchase and we left the store, we will certainly not be visiting the store again and nor will our friends. Mr and Mrs Hodgkinson

Terrible customer service and rude store manager Marco. If ever possible to give this review a zero I would! The kind of service i experienced at this store and especially from the manager is not expected from such as prestige brand such as Hugo Boss. He basically argued with and belittled me in shop full of customers when returning a product due to the wrong size. He nitpicked and quibbled the slightest mark on a t shirt and then begrudgingly agreed to swap. But then proceed to give me back the same t shirt or new t shirt has been faulty but he refused to acknowledge that. So I had to make a second humiliating trip to the store. Where I was greeted with further terrible service. The sales lady in question offered no apology to his mistake and even though on the 1st visit he asked this lady to mark our t-shirt down as faulty. Then when I asked to speak to him and for this full name, she refused and point blankly told me to "just leave". I have visited this store previously on numerous occasions and received good service from other sales people and spent quite alot of money. I shall not be returning and buying any Boss products in the future. Probably wont make a difference to them but hope this review acts a warning to other about the service and attitude from the above members. Marco piece of advice. Learn some manners and probably not best to go around shouting "leaving the dream cos I am working in retail at Christmas". If hate your job so much then quit and find another vocation. Like a previous review they will argue with you when returning a product which is in perfectly saleable condition and refuse exchange as "they personally not happy to offer to resell to other customers". Pathetic excuse. Avoid this store at all costs!! Buy from another Boss shop if you can.

It was a terrible experience to have shopped with Boss High Cross. Staff were extremely rude. Today I bought a "tracksuit top" with the transaction number 21631 and customer number 65585497 and paid £169 to them. After 20 minutes we had found that there were many large stains on the Tracksuit Top and I immediately went back to the shop, asking them for an exchange. I got shocked when they refused to exchange the top and I have never experienced such rude behaviour from any salesman, who bluntly stated that he does not care what the customer says and he will not return or exchange it. If it were possible to give less than a 1 star, I would certainly give it. I would never, I repeat never recommend anyone to go and shop from this Boss High Cross.

I bought my wedding suit here and the service I had from one of the sales girls Tatjana was one of the best I've had in a while. I have been a retail manager and I know the long hours these guys do. Tatjana went over and beyond getting every detail right for my big day. And I have exactly what I needed. I'm shopping there now with my personal shopper experience which believe me is hard to find in the retail market with low staffing in other department stores. Well done . After an 8h shift, still in my uniform, probably smelling like a cup of coffee I was about to buy myself a watch. The first thing that I've seen was an honest smile from the Boss personnel. Looking probably wrong in my oversize hooded, I get the best service just like I'll wear the best suit in the earth. The Lady was polite and patient with all my questions with the fantastic sense of humour. Tatjana, this visit puts me in the right mood for at last one hour! Thank You.

Store manager Marco is an absolute JOKE! Does not have the slightest clue on how to run a store! He is a disgrace to such a premium brand. Head office are having to deal with my complaint as staff are incompetent. Hugo boss should really consider the people they hire to represent their brand!!! Reading through the reviews I'm not the only one who thinks the management skills are questionable

I went into store today to change a Christmas gift, I must say the staff were so helpful and friendly they couldn’t do enough to help. They actually went and looked for all different kinds of jumpers to save me doing so. Absolutely perfect service.

The store has variety but the staff seem mediocre. Often appearing to want to get rid of you as soon as possible. You would expect good service from an equally reputable brand.

Bought a suit from here previously. Had no intention of buying anything else but hust neede some.tips o tailoring. Staff were still extreamly helpful. Young chap especially.
