"Upscale Vietnamese restaurant"
"Great atmosphere, however, if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food, you will find only casual Vietnamese flavors here"
"Pretty good Vietnam food that serves Thai dishes as well"
"This is a really cute restaurant with nice interior design and good food! They have happy hour 2-5pm on weekdays! We had the fried oyster and chicken wings with one drink under $20! Our server is super friendly and she checks on us pretty often"
"Waiter is very forgetful"
Upscale Vietnamese restaurant. Decent selection of food. Bakery is also there to satisfy sweet tooth. I had rock fish vermicelli bowl and it was very good. Their spring rolls are the best. A bit pricy but quality of the food is good. I am adding one more star because I have not had bad food here after coming here many times.
Great atmosphere, however, if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food, you will find only casual Vietnamese flavors here. The dishes are good but they're not very authentic. However, the wings are 10 out of 10 and the drinks are really good as well. So if you come for drinks and wings you're going to have a great time!
Pretty good Vietnam food that serves Thai dishes as well. Interior is really nice and warm. I ordered the spicy pork belly with rice and it was delicious. Their portions are small and quite pricey for what you are getting. I hope they can improve and increase the rationing. Will definitely come back to try more dishes!

Waiter is very forgetful. Forgot about my coffee until I reminded him. Placed an order for the Pandan Cake and it was available at the time of order. However, we we were told it was sold out because someone had taken it. Otherwise, the rest
I went here last night for my birthday dinner and it was a great time. The hostess let us get a drink in the bar while we waited for our table(it was a 35 minute wait to seat 8 people on a Sunday night which is totally understandable!) so
Can't say enough good things about Ba Bar!!! I crave their chicken vermicelli noodles all the time. The ingredients are always super fresh and HUGE portions. I've been to their Capitol Hill location a few times, and SLU. They're all super
Food was average. I think I’m not a fan of the flavours, so the food was pretty bland for my family and I. I’m also not a fan of sweet sauces in chicken wings. The Pho also was average- it’s surprising that their website says ‘Best pho in
Good service, clean, nice decor. We ordered the Hanoi pho (top) and the combo vermicelli. If you’re a regular connoisseur of Vietnamese food, you might notice that these portions are smaller (and more expensive). The Hanoi broth (which is
Ba Bar is one of my wife’s favorite restaurants, she often meets up with one or more friends. Last night, Thursday 8/17/23, was my first experience. I ordered the duck leg confit ramen. My wife ordered a vermicelli bowl and our friends
Ba Bar's U Village location is a cute blue dot on the less busy side of the street. The food looks and tastes fresh and is actually on the healthy side. Soup noodles were delicious - our table ordered the curry noodles and pho ga tron.
We have been coming to this establishment for a few years and have been to all three locations (U Village, Capitol Hill & SLU). The food has always been consistently good, the prices reasonable and the service prompt and friendly. The
The Nguyen Dynasty was delicious. Well balanced drink made with local gin. The eggplant was not my thing but coworker said it was delicious. Got the vegetarian pho. The broth was light and not quite as earthy as expected.
Pretty nice place to have a great Vietnamese food and a drink with friend, very conveniently located at a corner of U village. Way much easier to get in than the SLU store. Had a great time More
Vegeterian vermecili was extra ordinary and so was farmer’s pumpkin curry. Tofu seaweed and cabbage salad was refreshing . Grilled Asian eggplant is quite dull and thus you can avoid. More
Very modern, cute decor with hip ambiance. Fantastic dishes— a bit pricy for “a Vietnamese street food”. Service was quick and the server was excellent. Their roasted chicken was awesome!!
Although many of you know about Pho but I would like to highlight the other two soup noodles bowl on this fall weather which highly recommend to try. my personal favorite soup noodles.
Not sure if I would go back. If I was in the village area again and wanted something warm... maybe only because they have so many other restaurants at the mall.
I love how fast everything comes out fresh. Their dishes are delicious. The atmosphere is always welcoming and cozy. More
