Amazing location and awesome team at the Central Station Baggage Storage!! Had originally booked with another company at a different location but after realising that Central station was more convenient, as train users, we were hoping to go their location near there. Unfortunately we could not find their drop off point and their website did not have sufficient contact details, therefore we had already paid but couldn't utilise. The team at Baggage Storage offered to assist immediately and price match so we weren't doubling up too much. Thank you for making our traveller logistics easy and giving us the ability to check out Sydney waterfront before heading back to NZ :-) Highly recommend and convenient access within the Central Station building.

I dropped my parcels for Sendle pick up 3 times. The first parcel took a month to arrive, I thought was Sendle fault, the second parcel was smooth because the young lady did her job well, the last parcel I found out they never scan my parcel via Sendle dashboard like the first one, that's why there is nobody pick up. I called them, the Chinese lady drove me crazy by claiming that their scanner is broken so what do I EXPECT THEM TO DO? Like are you serious? Does this is my responsibility or At least told the customer beforehand! Why do you take the parcel then refuse to do a proper job? It has been 3 days and my parcel hasn't been scanned as well as nobody knows to pick up until I tried to contact Sendle.

When searching online for baggage storage at central station this site pops up. Nowhere does it mention you can book direct at the location, so we did online booking. We arrived at 11 15 but we had to select a time slot starting from 12, so we did that then waited around until 12. We then went to the baggage storage facility where the line was out the door. It took us 45 minutes to get to the counter (so it's now 12 45). It turns out everyone was booking at the counter which was why it was taking so long. If they had an express lane for online bookings that would have been nice. Pickup was pretty easy but over all it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Located in the Grand Concourse of Central Station next to the lift or elevator. The place is clean and secured being manned by the station attendant the whole day. A great storage area in case of a short stop over in Sydney at a great reasonable price. A great place for a short term day storage due to its close proximity for local, regional interstate Train travel as well as going to the Domestic and International airports. Note: The is also a coin opetated lockers locatex on the ground leved along Eddy Avenue but all luggages must be taken out by 5:00pm being unsupervised.

I actually had a pleasant experience. Their new luggage transfer service to the international airport was seamless and easy. But make sure you do your job first. First, go to their website to pre-arrange the baggage transfer service - it's cheaper and faster to process your baggage when you arrive at your requested drop-off location (don't forget to bring your passport as they ask for it again). You pay the storage fee separately. We paid it at the airport. All came about 68AUD for 2 big luggage + 1 small carry on. (32 for transfer + 36 for storage for 8 hours).

Very convenient for storing luggages if you're doing a one-day trip at Sydney. Best for people who aren't willing to spend money for hotels but not willing to walk around with all the heavy bulky bags. It is on the second floor of the central train station near the toilets, so it is fairly convenient and easy to find. Leave your bags, present ID cards and keep your receipt, come back to collect before you leave Sydney. Good service, friendly staff, fair price. You can even pay to charge your phone if you're desperate.

Came into here after trying to find somewhere to hold my small suitcase on the 23/12/23 so I didn't have to lug it, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff member who did a really fast check in for my suitcase only took 5 minutes only cost me $12 and I came back to collect it at mid afternoon with no issues! Thankyou again will recommend this place to everyone who wants to store luggage if they are in sydney & will not hesitate to use this service again after my pleasant experience!

A reliable service for luggage storage but there can be a bit of a queue at times. Other than that you can pretty much store anything here, even with a service of charging your mobile devices. The location is super handy especially if you're coming from the airport and waiting for your accommodation as I was. A star off for the price point though, it is a bit steep compared to other services I've used but the location really does save it.

Don't use if you're on a timeline. The actual service is good, although expensive - $78 for 2 bags for 2 days - but their staff member turned up at 7:20am (opening time 7:00am) which meant I missed my connecting train. Very stressful and disappointing. Edit: Amended to 3 stars. Smarte Carte reached out to apologise and explain that their staff had a medical emergency - they also offered a refund which I appreciated.

Long queue, huge wait 20+ minutes, felt really sorry for the understaffed staff (two only) who did their best under the cramped conditions, not only dealing with rude frustrated customers but also having to carry the heavy luggage piece by piece to the back of the storage area before returning to their slow computers and customers with steam coming out their ears. Come on Central Station, you can do better.

Sooooo bad!!! I had a phone call with them and told them that my bus it’s not gonna make it before 9pm and the girl said that’s okay and she will give me the time but of course she did NOOOOT. I was there nocking on the door and she was seeing me, knowing she was phoning with me 10mins ago and didn’t open. So I think that’s really rude and not good service at all so I won’t storage my bags there again !!!

I want to send you (the BS) an invoice for my time lining up to drop off and again to pick up my bag. 1pm on the Sunday of Mardi gras and there was only one staff member working. The highlight of my time was when another customer was informed they overstayed their paid time (by 7 mins) and would need to pay an additional fee. That customer was in the line for 20+ mins.... hahaha made me laugh!

Took almost an hour in a queue to leave our bags. Could do with signs outside to tell you what you need once you get in eg the price (exact cash or card only), ID etc as you don’t have any information until you get into the small room. A separate line for those doing pickup or drop off would help, as would someone walking the queue to let people know what’s happening.

Conveniently located. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Went above and beyond by correcting the amount so we won't pay more than we should – we booked and paid for large bags online, but upon check-in, the nice lady said they were only small bags so she refunded us then rebooked us with the right amount. Will use the service again.

They've made the process of storing luggage as slow and tedious as possible. Only 1 check-in counter was working; I don't know how permanent an issue this is. This (coupled with the long self-service check-in system) led to large queues, frustration, and excessive delays. Also quite expensive. Avoid using if you can.

I cannot express enough my gratitude to Robert, the Manager of Baggage Storage by Smarte Carte, Central Station. Travelling from interstate he could not have been more helpful - and went the extra mile. I would highly recommend this operator for his professionalism, courtesy and excellent customer service.

Brilliant customer service from staff member evening of Nov 12th. Train delayed at Maitland, arriving at central an hour late at 910pm . When I phoned she said she'd wait the extra 10 mins after closing time for me! Wow, a superb help and it's people like her that keep customers coming back. Thanks!!!

Stored my large heavy bag here whilst I went into the city to get food and visit circular quay. The service was really quick and easy, and the staff were very polite. I will definitely come back again and would recommend this to anyone who needs to store their baggage somewhere throughout the day!

It’s very easy and quick process. I got a small size bag, it was $10 for that till 8pm. The location is very convenient. I grabbed my bag and then headed to the airport right away. The staff are friendly as well. There is a phone charging station, maybe $5/60mins (not sure about the price).

All I can say is fix your staff attitude I was there on the 18th Sunday and encountered absolutely horrible disgusting Indian woman such a arrogant attitude thinks she is better then everyone I'm sure i will not be the first person complaining about her she knows who she is!

Awful service, threw our bags around, long wait and well understaffed, rude and argumentative staff, management have a similar attitude. Recommend you look elsewhere or carry your bag round Sydney yourself. You have been warned. Only 1 star because you can't rate lower.

I always drop my suitcase off before i go to tafe, they are so helpful, prices are really cheap, and theres always a friendly face to talk to not a robot takes minutes to drop off and pick up. Definately reccommend to anyone travelling with luggage

The prices should come with some lube first. In Tokyo, a city with much less space, it cost us about $5 to store two small bags for 24hrs. Here it was $22 for the same bags and about 6hrs. Alas, as far as I can tell they're the only game around.

Had a really great experience here today. No cues whatsoever and I came and left at peak times. They were friendly upon arrival and collection. $27 for a huge duffel bag and carry on for the whole day can’t argue with that! Will deffo use again.

This place is a rip off and reflects badly on privatisation of NSW Rail. It is located at Central Station. They wanted $24 to store two bags for two hours. What a rip off. This is one of the most expensive storage systems in the world. Beware.

Convenient. Left my luggage at central location in the morning, collected from airport location in the afternoon, leaving me free to wander the city then travel to airport via bus with no luggage. Expensive but worth it for hassle free travel.

Is what it is. I thought my luggage was small enough to be considered carry on but they charged me more. Gave three stars because it's not anything special. If there's a locker place you can find for your bag then my guess is you'd pay less.

It was very useless to us because it didn't let you the opportunity to take back your luggage from 10 p.m to 6 a.m. They should do a 24h service. Then the price was high, in an hostel for the same hours was about 5 dollars instead of 14

I've used this business several times to store my luggage while my partner and I go into town. They are in a convenient location, with good prices, and their customer service is fantastic! I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Love the concept. Very convenient. They stored our luggae for a few hours as we looked around the city and then sent it off to the airport for us. We just picked it up later that night to check in before our flight home.

The service is nice and simple. Just give their your bag, give them money, and take your bag back on time. We put two luggage there and costs 14 AU$ each. Small bags cost 12AU$ each. Not so cheap, but convenient.

Only used the charger at this shop but it was great just lock your phone in set a pin and charge. Pay by card, when I used it sometimes it would would not process payment but after trying again it would work

It's good to keep our luggage and if you choose 1 day, there is no need to designate the pick up time, just get there before the closing time. I feel sorry that it's a little expensive just for one carrier

It's about $9 dollars for carry on size and $12 for checked baggage size. They will send your bags for an extra fee to the airport and if you have more then 5 bags and book online they offer 10% discount

It is kind of expensive for just 3 small bags, because my boyfriend left 4 bags before big ones and cost less. But other than that, the manager is great and your stuff are secured and safe.

Didn’t actually store our luggage here but the staff (Mars) were super helpful with letting me charge my wheelchair here for an hour so I could get home in one piece thank you so very much

If you're stuck at Central for a few hours with heavy bags etc this is the place to drop them. It's not expensive ($12 for 4 hrs per suitcase?) and right there in the forecourt.

12 dollars for whole day storage is a pretty good deal. The location is pretty good too so you don't have to go out of your way too much when storing luggage here

Such an easy & friendly service experience ... for once, a service that is no more complicated than it needs to be! And very cost-effective too.

Had to wait in line to close to half hour each time, might as well have hung out with a restaurant with the bags by the time we were done.
