I was so embarrassed to present this cake to the party. It looks like a child wrote the icing. This does not reflect the work on the website or reviews I was expecting. Terrible communication trying to get the cake.He had another job to get to and did not communicate he was leaving and delegating this to his mother. The mother left as well, again, no communication. The address takes you to a residential neighborhood, no exact address was given. Amateur experience. The mother had the cake delivered and I was mortified when I saw it. I guess you get what you pay for. The “business” hours say open until 5pm when that was not the case.

I’ve ordered from Timmy several times before (cakes and pies) and the desserts are unbelievably tasty. He doesn’t do anything fancy, so if you are looking for cake-boss levels of decor then this isn’t your place. Timmy’s desserts are simple, but truly the most delicious I have ever had. In contrast, I’ve had very detailed fancy desserts and while they look nice, they have tasted terrible. I go to Timmy for all of my desserts now and they are always the highlight of the meal!!

Like other reviewers have said, the red velvet cake is wicked sick delicious! Needed to find a place that made red velvet cake with buttercream frosting. Couldn't find one local so expanded my search radius and came across bake peace in DC. Ordering was easy and customer service was fabulous. I'm not a fan of deserts, especially cakes, but this red velvet cake was delicious. When i cut it, it looked exactly like whats on the website which is rare. Looking forward to trying something else off the menu.

I ordered a banana creme pie from Timmy for my birthday, and it was so delicious that even my friends who declared they didn't like banana cream pie had a full slice each! Timmy was very communicative, too. I love that he grew up in Mount Rainier (MD) and still bakes in the area in Capitol Hill (DC).

Hands down the best pies/cakes I’ve ever had. Timmy makes a variety of offerings, all from scratch, which are all absolutely fantastic. Not to mention the level of service and timely turnaround is exceptional. Would highly recommend for any social gathering, holiday or hankering for a sweet treat.

Sent an email about a custom cake and Timmy responded within an hour letting me know everything I had asked for. I placed an order online and within 48 hours I had a delicious chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream frosting for my girlfriend's birthday. Highly recommended!

He made an amazing cherry pie for my roommate's birthday. It got rave reviews! Special comments were made about how thick and flavorful the crust was. I really enjoyed that the pie was firm and didn't flop/fall apart when cut. Def will order from Timmy again!

Timmy’s pecan pie is my favorite dessert!!! All of the choices are fantastic. My Dad always requests Timmy’s Italian Cream Cake for his birthday, my family gets pies for Thanksgiving, and we always gift a Bake Peace for every occasion.

I got a red velvet cake from here for my fiancés birthday. It was amazing! Usually we have so much left over cake from birthdays but several people ate two helpings. Cake was super moist and the perfect amount of sweet.

If you are looking for great desserts, look no further. Timmy made my husband an Italian Cream Cake for his birthday. It was absolutely awesome! The presentation was beautiful and the cake was so moist and delicious!

Timmy is an artist! Honestly the cake he made for us was the best cake I’ve ever had. HIGHLY recommended.
