Shampan is a specific type of boat with cylindrical bottom and widely used at coastal zone. This is the boat station to connect North-South side of Karanfuli river. The fascinating thing is that, as max educational institutions are at North side of river, students don’t need to pay for this crossing and they are not counted as passenger. Only 15 bdt/person for regular boat. Facility of reservation is also available.
