I would give this place less than 1 star if I was able to. The receptionist is completely incompetent, rude and incapable of doing her job properly. I called this morning asking to book an appointment and not only did she have a rude attitude and an unpleasant phone manner, she told me they don't do bookings over the phone (which is a lie because I always book over the phone) and that I had to do it myself on hotdoc, which I did. About an hour I check the appointment on hotdoc and it says it has been declined by the clinic. They didn't bother calling, texting or emailing me in regards to this, and I had no idea why I got declined so I gave them a call, and got told that I'm not allowed to book any more until I pay a did not attend fee, which I spoke to somebody about already. This happened over six months ago, and at the time I had tried to call twice the morning of my appointment to cancel it, and no one had answered the phone. They then called my at the time of my appointment asking if I was still coming, and I explained that I wasn't able to make it and that I had had the call logs on my phone as proof that it wasn't a did not attend as I had attempted to call. I was advised that they would waive the fee as it was on them for not answering the phone and it wasn't my fault, but that unfortunately never got waived and now I have been told that I can't go back until it's paid. Not a great place in general, I only ever came here as it was the only place taking new patients and bulk billing at the time. Both doctor's aren't very pleasant and are rude and judgemental. They have also given wrong diagnosis multiple times for my toddler, and I refuse to bring him back after his last appointment. They also double book every session, and don't actually care about their patients, they just want to get people in and out as quickly as possible as they're money hungry. Do not recommend and won't be coming back.

Unfortunately I have attended this clinic on 2 separate occasions for separate issues and I have left each appointment feeling patronised and disheartened. I would not recommend this clinic to teenagers, young adults or for anything related to mental health. On my second visit to Banyo village medical clinic, I had built up the confidence to discuss my concern in relation to my increased anxiety toward my studies and deterioration of grades. I read a large list of simple tasks that cause me anxiety or that I have an abnormal amount of difficulty with. I was told by the doctor that I was just a "poor goal setter" and that I wasn't applying myself. I sought a second opinion from a doctor who listened to and validated my concerns and referred me to a psychiatrist for an in depth assessment which later revealed a diagnosis of ADHD-PI consisting of a severe attention deficit. Had I not sought a second opinion, this initial consult with BVMC would have had detrimental effects on my wellbeing. Please please further your education and update your mental health practises and if you're not sure, refer them on to someone with specialised knowledge in the area of concern.

I do not recommend this surgery due to the lack of communication and patient care. I required medication for mild but manageable mental health issues. I requested medication I had taken previously but I was not given repeats. At the time of the meeting, I was not informed that I would not be getting repeats or that I required a second appointment to get repeats. The doctor knows you can’t start this medication and stop abruptly as it causes major issues. When asked to rectify the issue, there was little concern or regard to the inconvenience this had caused. What is appalling because I have never had issues or misuse with this medication in the past and I informed the doctor of who had previously prescribed the medication. This policy is more than likely there way to maximize their Medicare funding received by the Australian government making people repeat appointments for scripts. Communication and patient care is a rare skill in the world of GP’s, if you want that level of service, don’t go here.

Strongly suggest that you don't go to Dr Tireshni Prasad if you are even slightly overweight. No matter what medical issue you have she will always blame weight. I talked about my mental health (she rolled her eyes during it) and at the end she for some reason started talking about me being overweight, as if me being depressed is because I'm fat. I have gone to her for months to try and get her help in my physical issues, and it's always ignored and turned into weight problems. Even a simple form for centrelink that even centrelink says I need to get filled out for my medical issue its thats serious she writes that I'm overweight, which will cause centrelink to deny it as that's got nothing to do with my issue. She is incredibly uncaring of her patients, and I would not recommend her to anyone. But if you can handle her rolling her eyes at you when you mention some serious health issues and also her calling you fat everytime you go to her then give her a go

If you have any issues with mental health and would like to feel heavily gaslighted and disheartened please go to this practice. I've discussed my severe anxiety a few times, depression and other serious issues including endometriosis and was patronised for asking for help in regards to medication and support I've had in the past. Today I needed a medical certificate backdated as often when dealing with mental health you don't realise you're in a crisis until you're in the middle of it. The doctor refused to backdate it as I didn't see her when this 'sickness' started despite knowing the episodes I go through and the receptionist had the audacity to ask if I'd actually tried to book; which I looked online and saw she was booked out until this week. I expressed how down I was today and I thought she'd listen to me and the sincerity and courage it took for me to do so and I feel even worse. the receptionist is actually really lovely usually.

VALENTINES DAY. DR TRINESHNI PRASAD! WE KNOW SHE PURPOSELY AVOIDED TELLING US, DISCOURAGED WOMAN FROM USING THE HEALTH SYSTEM! SHE HAS ISSUES THAT’S THE TRUTH DEAL WITH IT GROW UP SHE IS A VICIOUS NEVER NOTIFIED US AND HAS THE AUDACITY TO BOOK WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE!

Do not recommend this doctor! My daughter had an appointment with what I knew was an ear infection (she’s had them before so I know the signs) before walking into the doctors room he says to me “she doesn’t look sick why are you here” I then go and tell him what’s been going on he barely looks in her ears and says nothing wrong with her she’s fine. I took her to a different doctor the next day because it didn’t sit right with me and she has the worst ear infection he has seen. Definitely won’t ever be going back here again. My daughter could have been left with serious issues if I had of listened to this doctor.

They decided that my daughter had left a bad Google review without any evidence and banned her from the practice. This was an untrue accusation but they decided it was her because it was similar to something she had said in a consult. Critical reviews should be an opportunity to improve your service, but clearly they only wanted good reviews and were prepared to refuse service to gain a false profile. Add this to a poor understanding of mental illness and it results in a service that I would not refer people to.

Dr Ritesh Prasad is outstanding bulk billing GP, he checked every details (ear, chest, neck, throat) and history of my illness then issued 2 days sick leave (i was thinking one day should be enough), but i finally took 3 days rest at home which i was surprised he can predict i will need more rest then i thought. The process for a new patient to fill a simple form is acceptable and i met a wonderful , nice, cheerful nurse for fever/ basic check up shows the caring of this team. Highly recommended !

Could only give 5 stars for a 7 star service!! I'm using this centre for many years now and Dr Ritesh has helped me diagnose and cure some life threatening (yes I really mean it) diseases based on a few minor symptoms that a few other GPs had almost neglected before. Dr Ritesh is a savant and a very experienced doctor. In so many years, I can't even think of a single dissatisfying incident with him. I 1000% recommend his service.

The receptionist Hanna was very polite, efficient and well-spoken. She needs to receive a Headset for the phone from the company. This would stop the receptionist taking time off on Compensation for the Physio on her neck, created by putting the phone under her chin while talking on the phone to a client and typing on the computer. This is the reason for only 4 Stars. The doctor had a great presentation and was well-spoken.

Reception is very nice and professional. Very patient and very attentive , love how we can book on HotDoc, communication is also spot on Doctor is very attentive, patient and willing to answer the many questions I had very nice, neat, clean and tidy place to. We just moved from Melbourne and been to a few medical centres but Banyo Village Medical Centre is definitely our new home.

Very positive experience with this medical practice : 17/5/23. Despite my being a long way from home requiring attention, Doctor Prasad was courteous, attentive & knowledgeable with a friendly & welcoming manner. The facilities are clean, fresh & attractive. Receptionist Chantal was very engaging & helpful. No hesitation in recommending this practice others. In fact, I already have.

The Doctors here are very respectful, professional and helpful. They treat you like a person and listen to your concerns without judgement and do whatever they can to help. Coughing up blood, bloodshot eye, with a fever and a coarse throat so bad I can't talk and they said to just take a day off to rest and get better... Definitely get a second opinion if you do visit here. - also had to complete a very lengthy form just to be asked nearly every single question on the form again by a nurse before seeing the doctor.

I went to get my covid vaccine. I was extremely nervous but the doctor calmed me instantly. He was very knowledgeable about the vaccine & I didn’t even feel the injection! The after effects were non-existent. I had a slightly sore arm from the injection but other than that I was fine. I don’t know what I was so afraid of …

I feel like with Dr Tireshni Prasad I have struck gold! She is so caring, thorough, understanding n genuinely interested in you as a fellow human being not just a patient. I was so impressed with my first visit that I have asked for my medical records to be transferred over to her from the medical practice where I have been.

Excellent customer service at the front desk - welcoming and fast service. Waiting area is quite clean, calming & relaxing. Medical professionals were not only excellent in their role but genuinely compassionate, and attentive and answered all my concerns with spot on diagnosis. Highly recommend them to all.

I cut my hand I walked in it’s close to where I live. The receptionist was so nice and she said they’re fully booked for the day but she’ll see whether she can squeeze in somehow as it was a quick treatment. Dr Ritesh Prasad has been our family GP since moving here in December 2015. He is a very honest, thorough and friendly Doctor who has just recently opened this practice. Although it is a 30 minute drive for us, we would not go anywhere else. Friendly staff and a great location. HIGHLY recommended.

I have been seeing Dr Ritesh Prasad as my GP for over six years. He is one of the most thorough doctors I have ever come across. At 79 years of age, I have some medical problems and I cannot think of a more dedicated case management doctor. I cannot speak too highly of Dr Ritesh Prasad.

This place is not bulk billing anymore for the new patients who register after 1st July 2022. So do not get confused and be ready to pay if you are not a patient registered before 1st July 2022. The fee is about 80 dollars I think but please check before visiting.

I have been attending this clinic for a few years and I think they’re amazing. They’re very affordable, reliable, supportive and informative. The regular receptionist I have seen there (young, brown hair) is also so lovely! A clinic I definitely recommend.

Not breastfeeding friendly. Given the current health crisis, it should be the last thing I stop. The World health organization reccomened a minimum of 2years. Breastfeeding doesnt loose nutrition. Read up a bit more. Not coming back.
