I am so disappointed. I have been seeing all of the reviews and raving on Facebook so I decided to try it out. Firstly, where's the stock? - I ordered a coffee frappe, no frappe powder so they instead wanted to use Ricoffy powder! I decided to order an Appletizer, oh sorry, NO STOCK... Okay, Iced tea...Sorry, again no stock. Had to resort to Water! I then ordered a toasted cheese & Tomato with chips - key word, toast..Not bread...another key word, chips. I had to ask the waitress where the chips are, as they forgot about them! I tried waiting before I eat my "toasted" sandwich, but the processed cheese would have not been edible if I had waited any longer..Thankful that I waited for the chips though as they were the highlight of my breakfast. Staff is lovely though... I am so so disappointed. I think they should focus less on presentation and more on the food :(

The two ladies behind the counter didn't seem keen to assist ‍♀️ Asked for a frappé (even pointed to it on the menu), got a latté. Well it tasted more like hot chocolate but I'm assuming since I asked for a belgian chocolate frappé that I got a belgian chocolate latté. Dryyy and cold waffles. The littlest bit of syrup. Completely disappointed. Yet I still tipped

Love the way I am greeted by Diana, the Barista, and Barry, the owner, when I walk in. Diana remembers my coffee order and always makes special effort with my kids' "coffee" orders. The food is always fresh and delicious. I am never let down, from the cookies, to the muffins, fritattas, cakes, toasties and more. When we do not sit down, a quick take-away coffee is always a good idea

Friend invited us for a birthday celebration. Highly recommend this spot. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere welcoming and the food was great! Reminded me of my mothers Home-made burgers. We'll be back!

Absolutely love this place, it has become our new regular go to for breakfast and just about anything else, staff are always super friendly and helpful and Barry is a legend. The food is always excellent. You can’t get better value in Melkbosstrand.
