Beauty by Mela is passionate about making beauty affordable for everyone. I'm a single mum, and I suffer from PCoS, which means I have hair growing in weird places, and will always need treatment. Over the past 20 years, Carmela has helped me manage these problems and wax them all away. Recently, laser treatments at affordable and super competitive prices were introduced, and I instantly took up a package. The current specials on offer beat anything that any of the larger laser treatment places offer and there was virtually no pain (seriously, I've had all types of laser done elsewhere, I have never EVER felt so calm or pain free during a treatment). It's not just waxing and laser though. There is a whole range of skin therapies and beauty treatments on offer for you to choose from. I recently had my brows shaped and henna tattoed and lashes lifted too. Carmela and Niko are a fabulous team. Her experience and beauty knowledge and his business knowledge, combined with their relaxed and welcoming personalities, means that I will continue to travel from Mernda for treatment.

Maryann has been here for many years operating her beauty business. She is very accommodating, affordable and prompt. The salon is not overcrowded and is bright and clean. Parking is easy and Union Road is a nice little local shopping strip. Well worth a visit or two.

Mela did a great job with the lash lift. When it wasn't exactly what I wanted she offered to re-do them and it came out even better! Both her and Nik were so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend! Thank you, Tish
