This place is home to the rudest Trans cashier in the world. (Update/response: right, so because I wasnt specific on the rudeness then somehow I am targeting and being bias? Get over yourself, your employee was probably just in a bad mood or something and was rude, maybe just a bad day, but don't accuse people of targeting and being bias for no reason, your employee isn't a victim and you're not a hero, just two workers that underperformed today. .............insert deleted comment from business............ I would like to point out that there was a response here by the manager that called me "bias" and said that I was "targeting" in an attempt to make this about persecution rather than bad service and has since been deleted by management for obvious reasons. I am still going to leave up the response. But just know, this Bedrock location will go so low as to accusations of hate just to not get called out on service.

I've been coming to all the locations cross Houston since 1998. Bedrock City Comic company is a staple Houston for everything related to comics buy Marvel DC Dark Horse and etcetera. They have every collectible pop model in store that it will blow your mind. They have great toys, lanyards, stickers, manga, front door floor mats, t-shirts, all forms of collectible cards and many many more. The staff is highly knowledgeable without being condescending or rude when asked almost any question from a beginner to a Avid collector. So if you are looking for that perfect comic book flash collectible store go to any one of the locations in Houston and you will not be disappointed.

Bedrock is a place of comfort and awesomeness. The employees are real friendly and always looking to help you in anyway from something simple as looking for a comic book to listen to you rant as to which spiderman from what universe is the better one among the rest, and if they might not have a certain item you are looking for they will go out of their way and help find it among their other store locations and will even be on the look out when it comes into their hands. The place is really rated E for everyone when it comes to their reading materials from young beginners to older folks and even toys and games. You just can't get enough of this place.

Jason was amazing. Not only did he help me find my obscure back issues but he was also knowledgeable and FUN to chat with. I watched him treat several customers (two different children among them) as though they were longtime regulars even though a few were clearly walk ins! They have Tons of toys, trades, AND BACK ISSUES including many $1.00 comics!!! Ian checked me out and continued the royal treatment. I got GREAT deals and had a top notch experience. As an out of town comic book store hunter I appreciate “the good ones”. The Washington Ave location was my favorite of the 3 different Badrocks I visited. A++ Thanks again James!!!

Probably my 4th time checking this shop out for random things. Very small selection of magic singles but I can’t stress how much their customer service makes up for it. Plus, I think it’s nice that they have any at all when it’s clearly not their main source of income. Bedrock had a ton of comics and toys which seem to be their bread and butter. So I love glancing at that stuff too. Also, they gave a shout out to Asgard games. I’ve been there multiple times for for their magic selection and I always like a business that will help a customer get what they need even when it’s not from them. Kudos to the staff here. They “rock” ;)

This is my favorite bed rock to go to and have come here for over 5 years with friends and my son as well. Although, I went away out of country for almost two months they closed my box when I came back after w one voice mail that I could not call back atm and gave me a dead line of two days to call back and I could not since out of country and so I lost everything. I did reopen it but I didn't like the attitude from the manager and the way I was treated during. I have gone longer grabbing my box at one point too since I live far away but I have spent a lot of my life here and this was just random act to me.

I preordered two statues back in February which were coming out April and May, i called multiple times every month from april until today and i was assured that i'm still on the list, my preorders were on their way and they will come in. Today, i called again to see what's up with my pre orders, long and behold, the guy said they will not come in and he "doesn't know what happened". Of course you don't! "The company no longer exist and is not making anything" -then you probably shouldn't have taken my orders! And you shouldn't have assured me 5 times that my orders are on their way.

I love this location! Bedrock is clean, well organized and fun to browse. I always enjoy checking out the employee recommendations. They also have some great displays showcasing diverse artists, which is awesome to see. I’d recommend this store to an experienced reader or someone new to the hobby. It’s a plus that that take Covid safety protocol seriously, and I can’t thank them enough for that. It’s great being able to shop at a store and actually feel safe. The management at this location deserve some serious props. Thank you Bedrock! I’ll be a customer for a long time.

This place is my toy store even though I'm not a traditional comic book enthusiast. It really does accommodate all types and the staff have never made me feel inferior to the elitist-types. I take my son here often for small rewards and to expose him to heroes. The staff also make him feel special and heard and they have always had great customer service! If they ate out of something, they will order it for you or call around to see if there's another location that has it. Please support their hard work if you have an opportunity to.

I’ve been to quite a few comic stores in the greater Houston area and this is hands down my favorite. They have a great selection of single issues and collected editions. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Em and Juan in particular are great but Ive I’ve had good experiences with everyone there. They will help track down items from their other stores and have it brought to their store for pickup at another time. The store itself is clean and well-organized. I’d definitely recommend this shop to any comic/collectible fans.

While they have some good stuff, I find it over-priced and the trade deal I was just offered was one of the most insulting offers I have ever heard. I was offered less than 100 for a large number of items, about 20 in total. 4 of the items alone were worth 100 together. I only came here once before. But after this visit I will never set foot in this store again. Buyers try to negotiate and sellers, avoid this store at all costs. You're better off on ebay or at the other shops

Stopped in late (close to closing) for Free Comic Book Day [Saturday, May 6, 2023] to miss the chaos the morning most likely had. To my surprise, the staff was very friendly and helpful! I expected them to be half-dead and exhausted, but they weren't. In fact the guy overseeing the remaining free comics was very knowledgeable about them and answered my questions about some other series. If ever I get back into building my collection again, this is where I'll go. Kudos, folks!

I brought my daughter here for her first real comic book buying experience. I also wanted to re-spark my interest so I acted as if we were both new. The gentleman who helped us with was not only very knowledgeable but also understanding of our financial restrictions and was also very patient with helping us to the point where you could see he loved explaining what we were looking for. If you are looking to buy any comic book literature, this store is a must.

Pretty cool location, pretty small compared to the others. Had some really nice figures. Didn't really have that big of a POP collection, and the Tshirts we're all trashed and thrown everywhere not really able to shop it. Staff was nice and inviting and greeted us when we walked in. Felt like they had some items that were overpriced compared to other bedrock locations. Overall it was ok and possibly would go back there if I'm in the area.

The place was very crowded and expensive. I couldn't take photos because the employees kept following me and asking me how I was doing over and over. I suppose if you're a major comic book geek, then you wouldn't mind paying these prices , but me? I didn't even know there was another Flash called Wally West , I only knew Barry. The parking lot is a bit dangerous, becareful backing up, I almost got hit by maniac in black Toyota Camry.

Alright nerds listen up yo. Of course this place has a huge selection of comics and various graphics novels to read, but they're action figure section is top notch. Toy collectors definitely need to stop in, used figures as well as NIB. Plus a few Gundams, Cosplay weapons and accessories, plus shirts and backpacks. Basically this place is an awesome comic shop. Check it out. Sell some of your old stuff, then pick up something new.

Nice place to hunt toys and these people know the market and will even order stuff for you when they don't have it but what I like the most is chatting with the manager about toys because he knows his stuff .A lot of toy stores are just selling them but don't know any thing so this place is a gem for real collectors and not all the new mcu fanboys jumping on the bandwagon. This is a solid comic book shop. It's one of many in the chain. I get my local comic box from here. Theres always fun conversation and the retailers are great. Ive met the local manager and he's awesome. It's a great little community that does a lot of good local comic book work. It's definitely not the biggest one but it's a solid place if you're looking to stop by. Their prices are relatively standard.

Super helpful people for someone with no idea what they are doing. Decided to give the comic book thing a try but didn’t really know what genre I would even like. Taryn spent about 30 minutes helping me out asking questions and giving me examples. 2 out of the 3 I walked away with I enjoyed. I would call that a success considering I had no idea what I was looking for. Definitely will be back for more.

What a neat little store They have everything DC and Marvel and so many pop culture specialty items. They sell POP figures, action figures, and collectible items. All along the back wall are rare/special edition comics. If you don't want to spend the big bucks, they do have a HUGE selection of every series of comic book you can think of including my favorite, Deadpool. I'm definitely coming back!

I absolutely love this store. The employees are great. Every single time I walk in there I'm greeted with a smile. They go out of they're way to learn what you like that way it makes your experience more personal. I personally would recommend this location to anyone. I traveled to Houston for the Royal Rumble and I wanted to check out a local comic book shop. I’m glad I found Bedrock. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The shop had a big selection of books, figures and statues. There was something for everyone, the shop was clean and everything was displayed and organized well. Next time I go to Houston I will make it a point to visit Bedrock, thanks.

Great comic book shop! They have an awesome comic book selection as well as a lot of cool toys and fan merch. They even support local artists. Service here is also amazing! A while back. I called hoping to see if they had a figure in stock. They didn't have it, but they ordered one and had it sent to a Bedrock location that was actually closer to me. They definitely earned these 5 stars!

I've been to this location twice. My latest visit was the last day of the Spring Sale. I purchased a Black Widow Civil War Hot Toys figure for a great price!! Even though there were a lot of people there the staff was ready to help and brought my figure down from the shelf quickly. This location ranks very high on the list of Bedrock City Comics I have visited. There's a great selection.

Great store but i was cheated out 1 shirt I ordered. I know I am cheap, but I caught one of there mistakes. They had a dragon ball shirt for 0.00. So I ordered one for my daughter. They called me it was ready, and they were charging but i showed them my email order confirmation and that I still had to pay. But it was 0.00. I believe the price should of been honored. I just left.

I was searching for a Wonder Woman gift for my grand daughter and Matt was incredibly helpful. I was able to buy a WW piggy bank and a dictionary of comic book history on the character. I really don't know anything about Comic books and would most likely never enter a store like this but now I feel like a collector, and a kid at heart. You won't be disappointed in this place.

BedRock City Comic Co was a trip down memory lane. Nothing says revisiting your childhood like seeing all your favorite superheroes taking action page by page like a comic book. It sure does get you thinking of all fun times you had as a kid. And fun times that children will have when they head to BedRock City Comic Co too. It's awesome.

First off staff was super friendly and helpful with every question I had. I'm new to Houston from san Diego and spent the extra time to welcome me and let me know about the convention out here. Purchased two funko pops (pee wee and chairy) and a couple discount books and complete sets. All in all enjoyed this comic shop and will be back.

The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and respectful to myself and every customer I witnessed them interact with. The location is smaller than others but they make great use of the space. It is packed with comics and collectables but the layout is anything but claustrophobic. If I lived closer these guys would never get rid of me.

It was not as great as the one on Westheimer! They had limited supply of the comic books we like. The t-shirts are mostly children's sizes. The staff kept asking us if we needed help...wonder why? Then when we did ask for help they didn't have what I was looking for, so that will more than likely be my last trip to that location.

My favorite Bedrock City location bar none. More loose toys at affordable prices and has rekindled my inner kid nerd. The staff can either help you or leave you alone. I prefer the 2nd option, which is great. The staff told me to give them a review on Yelp, but I just don't know what that is. Regardless, this location is A plus.

My grandson just turned 11 when he was about 5 I took him to the one on 1960 which is kind of far and he fell in love with it. So I used it as a reward for something he had done good like school. That's what I used to do with my now twenty-year-old son! Trip to the comic book store! So happy to have one close to me. Thank you!

Great service whenever I go. One of the guys there was really helpful for my son who was looking for a particular manga and even though they didn't have it in store, he called around and eventually put an order in for it. I appreciate him going beyond the "We don't have that" attitude and actually putting in an effort.

Amazing comic book store. I love this place, they’re really helpful. I’ve been coming here since I moved to Texas. They’ve given me great recommendations over the years. There’s more locations so if one of them doesn’t have what you need they’ll check the other stores and more often than not they’ll get it for you.

This employee kept almost yelling at my friend because his mask was falling below his nose. His eyes were literally on us the whole time as if he was the mask police. I understand the times we are in but there are better ways for a business to treat their customers. I spend about $50 that day but won't go back.

This comic book store is no ordinary comic store. It is the comic book store in a very good area! It is rather small but the good part is they put really good items for sell at an affordable price recommend going back the only thing is it is near a really good bakery so parking is hard to find at times.

The team is always so helpful and nice. Always have good conversation and leave there feeling great. They have a great selection, so there's something for everyone. I've been to all their locations and the consistency in merch, customer service and cleanliness is amazing. Keep up the great work!

Superb selection for a wide variety of items for all things related to comics and pop culture. Friendly staff and I want to give a shout-out to Matt for being super helpful as I browsed and for the pleasant conversations. Very knowledgeable folks here and I look forward to making regular visits.

A little light on the premium books. It probably was picked clean since covid. I typically want to pick up 2-4 silver or bronze age books off a wall but the key date wall was picked over. The staff was great and they were busy. Ill try and go back and see if the high end stuff returns.

Such a fun place for children and adults. Comics, action figures, graphic tees and more. If they don't have it, they can probably order it for you. The Washington store is my main store, but staff at all the locations I've visited have been knowledgeable and friendly.

A bit small but they had a huge selection of comic books, novels, figurines among other things but I just wish they had more Gambit related items. I would buy so many. Great place to be and at the time of visiting there was a book signing that seemed to be going well.

Prices are fair and had alot of comics to look through. Alright section for pops and a good amount of figurines. Would definitely go back but only thing I would change would be customer services alittle bit. The person that was checking us out was passive aggressive.

I used to go to another comic book store but this is my go to now. I always find amazing prices for minor keys and even keys . They have great sales on back issues. The staff is amazing and are always helpful with finding comics that they might not have.

I took my niblings here for their first time in a comic book store, and the guys at the counter were helpful in tracking down Pokemon books for my oldest nephew. They were really patient and nice with us and I sincerely appreciated it.

Always a great go-to place that has a good selection and it's located near so many food and beverage spots. Wish they had a restroom but not a big deal. Great pieces in the back and I look forward to coming here when I'm in the area.

I love bedrock city comics. They always have such an awesome selection of stuff. Plus, their sales are insanely good! I have always found some really awesome stuff at every Bedrock I've been to. I am definitely coming back here.

Always a fun place to go! My son LOVES coming here for what started as just for comics. Now it's for swords. We unfortunately moved out of state but make it a priority to make a stop when we come down for a couple of days!

Their inventory focused mostly on comics, of which they had a large selection, but they also had plenty of other fun toys and bits of memorobelia. The owners were very helpful and keep the shop clean and well maintained

Great place for comics, manga, and action figures. They also had cool replica swords on the wall, foam or metal. I got these two figures of Law and Zoro (pictures below). Super cool place with helpful, nice employees.

This comic shop does a lot of outreach with HISD, so I love that. I also love that they have a teen section and a younger section. Just wish the place was bigger and had board games.
