I am not one to write a review, but my experience with Bellhop in Charlotte has been absolutely appalling. I will try to be as brief as possible, but my move was within the SAME apartment complex on the same floor (no stairs). I booked 3 movers for 2 hours as I didn't have much for them to move other than actual furniture. They arrived with nothing, which is fine because I work for a company that I was able to borrow carts, moving blankets, etc. from. The 3 movers showed up REEKING of weed, one of them even wearing a hat that said "stoners." I just looked past that because I didn't want to make anything complicated. It only got worse. I watched them drop MULTIPLE pieces of my furniture, never once used the moving blanket (staining multiple pieces of my upholstered furniture), disappeared multiple times, and stood and watched each other instead of all doing things themselves. I had also labeled each of my items with what room they needed to go to in the new apartment (a 1 bedroom unit). They stacked almost everything in one room, ignoring the labels completely. I went up to the head guy twice explaining how important it was that my mini fridge go to the porch because the freezer section was going to defrost and leak everywhere. After the 2 hour move, I noticed my mini fridge hidden in the corner of my living room, in a full puddle, leaking on other items. The list goes on and on, but I am far more disappointed by the customer service of their office than I am the move itself. After this experience, I was hesitant to call customer service because I didn't want to cause a scene resulting in any of the movers being upset and coming back. However, I hire individuals for "gig" jobs as a career, and if it were my company, I would've wanted to know what needed to be changed. I spent probably an hour on the phone with a woman who was very kind about the experience and said she would speak to her "higher ups" and give me a call back with what they were willing to do. When she called me back, she told me that they were going to reimburse me $79 for the bad experience (keep in mind I spent around $400 for the 3 movers). She then told me to submit a claim for my damaged items, but I had to do it that day as it was the 5th day since the move (aka the last day to submit a claim). So, I left work, took pictures and submitted the claim. It came up with a message after I submitted that the claims department would be contacting me within 3-5 business days. That was on July 7th. After not hearing anything since, I called the line again on July 18th. They said they only thing they can do is to submit a request to the claims department to look at the case. Heard nothing. I called again this morning (July 26th). The woman told me there was nothing she could do other than to send another request for them to look at my case. I explained to her my frustration, and how I just feel like I am not being taken seriously or noticed after such an awful experience. She then gave me an email for the claims department to reach out to. If you are still reading, my message to you is to NOT under ANY circumstance use BellHop of Charlotte unless you want to risk wasting 3 hours of your life trying to tell people to respect you/your things and then an additional 5 phone calls and missing work to submit claims and beg for respect from their office employees. My next step will be emailing the claims department I guess and hoping maybe that will make them notice my report after all of this. Another hour down the drain!

I do not recommend Bellhops to anyone looking for professional movers. They did such a spectacularly poor job with my recent move that nearly all my furniture was damaged in some way. Their negligence and recklessness have cost me thousands of dollars in property damage. I recently moved across country while my house was still for sale, leaving the home staged with all my furniture. I hired Bellhops to pack the items left in the house, and load everything into a U-Pack trailer for shipping. As you can see in the photos, the Bellhops movers used no moving blankets or shrink wrap to protect my belongings. (Any shrink wrap pictured was applied by me.) They stacked the furniture and boxes haphazardly, leaving room for items to shift in transit. Some items were simply tossed into a tote and loaded onto the trailer with no packaging at all. My paper wall hanging was folded up and stuffed into a tote like garbage. My personal sheets and duvet were used as wrapping, and my throw blanket was spread on the floor of the trailer with furniture was stacked on top of it. I won't go into the Bellhops claims process, but suffice it to say that it is set up for their benefit, not yours. Their representatives have not been helpful, simply repeating the same scripted lines over and over again. In addition to the money I paid Bellhops for their shockingly bad service, I am also out thousands of dollars in property damage, plus the money spent to ship my broken belongings across the country. Please do not trust Bellhops with your move. Your things are not safe in their hands. Update: I'd like to respond to Bellhops' claim that they extended the deadline by ten days. Their policy allows three days after the move to submit a claim. Our items were in transit for over a week, so I did not contact Bellhops about filing a claim until nine days after the move. Bellhops extended the deadline to the following Monday, which was four days after I first e-mailed them. So technically they extended the deadline by ten days, but that does not mean I had ten days to unpack and document the damage. Even as of today, I am still unpacking and finding more damaged items. I communicated this to the Bellhops representative but was repeatedly denied another extension. Not to mention that the claims form requires you to agree to terms and conditions that limit your right to file for further damages. So Bellhops stands to benefit from rushing me through the process, because I wouldn't have time to claim all the items that were actually damaged. And here's something everyone should know before booking a mover: The industry standard for reimbursing damaged or lost property is calculated by WEIGHT, not VALUE. Bellhops pays $.70 per pound of damaged property. In my case, this would mean hundreds of dollars paid for thousands of dollars of damage. If anyone is still reading this, just know that this is how the industry works. Don't take the risk. Hire some real professional movers and stay away from Bellhops.

I will start off by saying that the sales rep that booked my move from Chicago to North Carolina was very helpful, professional and easy to work with. Everything went downhill from there. I was provided for contact info for a move coordinator a week or so before my move. I didn't hear anything from her, so I reached out the day before my move, and she didn't respond. The day of my move, the movers showed up promptly at 8am, but they informed me that I needed to provide my own truck. As I had booked a long distance full-service move, this definitely was not the case. I tried to call my move coordinator and got no response; I called 3 other numbers for the Company, and all went to voicemail. Finally, I got a call back over a half hour later and was told that the truck was on the way and would be there by 9am. 9am came and went, and I had no less than 4 additional calls with the move coordinator (when I could get her on the phone), each time being told that she had connected with the dispatcher and that the truck was 30 minutes away. After 11:30am, 3.5 hours late, we all came to the conclusion that the truck was not coming. I won't fault the Company for the truck driver being irresponsible, but I was definitely not given the truth about the situation as it was ongoing. The movers had only a 5 hour window, so they went home around noon. A new truck arrived around 1pm, but now I didn't have movers. The Company was able to find movers to arrive around 3:30pm and fortunately they were able to get my belongings loaded on the truck, finishing around 7pm. This whole process caused me to cancel plans and be unable to work for the day because everything was so behind schedule, not to mention adding stress to an already stressful move. I was promised that I would be discounted for the inconvenience by the move coordinator. Upon arrival in North Carolina with my belongings, the movers were kind and got everything in the door; however, a chair I have was ruined because it had clearly been dropped in mud or touched with very dirty hands, and the movers did not properly attach the headboard to my bed, which fell back when I was sleeping. I then saw a charge on my credit card the next day for the full amount of the move. I reached out and indicated that I had documentation that I was offered a discount, and they put a credit on my account on the bellhop page for less than 10%, which is honestly offensive for the lack of service I received during the move; however, that amount has yet to be refunded to my credit card after ~3 weeks despite me following up two times. I have gotten no response to either inquiry. The communication with this company has been terrible and I would not recommend to anyone looking for movers.

UPDATE: WOULD YOU PAY $1,400 FOR DESTROYED FURNITURE?? I downgraded my stars due to the lack of customer service. I discovered that the movers indeed did NOT do assembly/ disassembly when I took the mattress off my platform bed that was NOT reassembled properly. As the pictures show, there is space between the slats. The young man haphazardly laid the support slats underneath without screwing them in despite marks showing where the support beams go. They scratched and chipped furniture and dented the door to a newly built apartment!! Again, they could have just stated clearly that they couldn't put didn't do the service rather than endangering me and making me spend more money to fix their mess. I have been more than nice when asking them to at least consider a discount (not a refund). I have not heard back from anyone despite calling daily. If the service would have been better, I would have gladly paid the full price. I even tipped everyone WELL despite the service. AWFUL!!! I ORIGINALLY Gave them two stars because the kids that came were very nice. Notice I said kids. This is NOT a moving company. They showed up without uniforms or face coverings (I am immuno compromised) with a rented truck, and no one was clear that I was moving to another city. As a result, they had to stop and fill up. I later learned that the driver was an add on...I only budgeted to tip 3 guys, but had to split the cash four ways which means these young men got lower tips. The driver ordered take out while these young men loaded the truck, and they were not versed in how to break down furniture. They literally took every piece of my bed apart. I was afraid to sleep on it after they reassembled it. The whole process seemed really unorganized, but the young men that moved the furniture were super nice and polite. It's not their fault that the logistics could be managed better. If you want some guys to do some simple moving, this may be OK, but it may be better to spend a few extra bucks for bona fide movers.

Bellhop earned this single star because the sales rep that booked my move was great. Everything else was a 0 star experience. Ten minutes into the move, the movers asked me to move my own glass-top furniture in my own car because they were not properly equipped to move it. The entire reason I hired Bellhop was to have insured professionals that could handle fragile items so I would not have to deal with the hassle. The two movers sat, scrolling on their phones while they let the UPS man use the locked-freight elevator that I reserved for my move, while I was getting charged for the time. During my move, one of my team members left mid-job--which I understand couldn't be accounted for--but no one communicated with me so I moved my own couch and other large furniture because they were left in a hallway unattended for over two hours and I had no context of what had happened to my team, and no one was answering my calls. I moved two blocks away and had loading docks and elevators at both locations so it was obvious that something wasn't right. The other mover on my job went to Krispy Kreme in the 2+ hour downtime while he waited for a replacement BEFORE he communicated the situation to me (literally, can't make this up). Despite explaining all of this to their service reps, they refused to compensate me for the full time wasted. When I explained that I was asked by the movers to move my own items, the customer service rep's response was "Bellhop discourages that you do that in the terms of service that you signed". Further, my dresser drawer was damaged in my move and was documented on my file and no one reached out to me about accounting for the damage, but they have contacted me to make sure they get paid for extra moving hours. As someone that worked in customer service, I can't imagine ever handling a case the way my situation was handled. I would not wish this company on my worst enemy.

I will never use this company for our move. I had to move the date of the move and the rep ( Nay) admitted while on the phone that he sent the message to movers incorrectly so they went to the property so now there was a fee since they went to the property because they had no notice. All because he sent the message incorrectly after telling me when I called that the adjustment could be made and no charge since I was giving so much of a notice. A couple people apologized for the incorrect information that was provided but still kept trying to charge me. Then the day of the move, only one mover was on time (Mckinnley). The lead (Miles) for the move was late. The third mover we don’t know what time he showed up, in the middle of the move as we were directing them on where to put something we can into the garage and saw him moving. The lead for the move threw a box marked fragile all the way around down the ramp of the moving truck and never apologized (Mckinnley apologized ). A charcuterie board that was a wedding gift was broken in half that was in that box. Then the lead had the nerve to ask about a tip and ask was that all for them. The audacity of him!!!! Reached out and let them know several times and no response. Our worst move experience ever!!!! If I could leave them no stars I would Google is the only reason they received one star!!!! I only used them because there was not a College Hunks in Charlotte but never again!!!!!!!

Using Bellhop Movers were the worst decision I ever made! The truck was loaded entirely incorrectly which resulted in over $3000 worth of damages to furniture and my home (some items completely destroyed). To make matters worse, after submitting claims they only want to provide $376 for a settlement. I have been attempting to get in contact with their claims department, but no one answers the phone nor do they respond to emails. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I will be filing reports with the necessary organizations because this is absolutely unacceptable! Update: Bellhop claims team has finally reached out and I received a new settlement of a whopping $415. One table that was completed destroyed was over $500, and my 82 inch tv that was cracked and no longer working was $2000…this is extremely disrespectful, and Bellhop should be held liable for the damages incurred by the 3rd party movers they hired. In the consultation I received I was under the impression that the movers were directly employed with Bellhop, but that’s not the case. Also, in the consultation I was never informed of how damages would be handled. I asked to be provided with a letter providing a breakdown of how much is being applied to each broken/destroyed item as I am being left with no other option than to pursue legal action.

I was moving from apartment to apartment in the same complex and the movers moved my tv without me being around, next thing I know i'm turning on my tv in the new apartment and its not working at all, just some red dots on the screen where the panel looked to be damaged due to the move. The movers kept quiet after the tv was moved and it felt really odd compared to when they first got here for the move, almost like they knew they had done something wrong. I barely go past two hours and they asked me for cash instead of charging another hour to the bill, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. I let the movers know about the tv after they left and they never did anything about it, I sent in a form letting them know my tv was affected by the move and no response. It was a terrible experience and I would never recommend them. One of the movers even forgot their airpods at my apartment, he was going to pick them up before I told them about the tv, once I told them about the tv they never showed up or contacted me again. Very Unprofessional and Waste of money. DONT TRUST THESE GUYS

James, Corey, and Ryan were an awesome team. My fiancee and I had a 14-foot trailer full of items to move into our apartment and we had a 3-hour slot with Bellhop. They got the job done within 2 hours along with us joining in to help move smaller items and help organize. James ran a tight ship despite the slight inconvenience on our end of having to move up three flights of stairs and moving our items from the trailer to the stairwell which had to be done by our cars and the moving supplies they had. James had a warm and helpful attitude about the experience with helping us. His team was also very quick with moving items upstairs and placing them in the designated spaces. We were extremely grateful for their assistance because we just moved to the Charlotte area and needed last-minute assistance to get our items moved in and have our trailer moved out from our apartment complex without inconveniencing our neighbors in terms of parking for too long. All in all, we are extremely pleased with our experience and would recommend and/or use their services again for moving items.

If I could give negative stars I would! We arranged 4 movers for 6 hours to move us. On the day of the move only 2 individuals showed up. While the guys that showed up worked hard, they were only able to move 1/3 of our belongings. The problems really started when I called and asked about getting the rest of my items moved. I was first insulted by being offered 20% the second move and no money back on the original move. After HOURS on the phone they agreed to refund a portion of the original move but couldn't "reschedule" and additional move until several days later, well after my husband and I would need to return to work. We are now on DAY 7 (post move) and I have yet to receive a single penny of my money from Bellhop that was promised. To make matters worse I had to pay ANOTHER moving company to finish the move. We are now out MULTIPLE days of work and almost $3,000 between the two moving companies! I have moved a lot in my life (20+ times) but this was by far the WORST MOVE OF MY LIFE! Bellhops customer service is a joke and their promises empty.

I am very impressed with the Bellhops service and more importantly the Bellhops customer service. I would definitely recommend Bellhops to anyone making a move. I used Bellhops just to move a few large items less than 1 mile. They were well priced and the scheduling process was so easy. The Bellhops movers showed up on-time and ready to work. Unfortunately, the truck was about 20 minutes late(i think the truck was a third party). The movers were very friendly and worked quickly. Unfortunately two of my items(and walls) were damaged during the move. I was upset about the damage and felt that if the movers would have taken their time the damage would not have occurred(I had paid for plenty of time and they were only moving a few items). That's where we move to the excellent customer service. The customer service team got back to me the same day about my damages, reviewed my claims and were extremely helpful about resolving my claims. Save yourself time and headaches, use Bellhops!

I cannot say enough positive things about this group of guys and this experience. They all got here a little early and just went to work. Their lead guy never showed, but that didn't even slow them down one second. They never wasted any time and even finished early. They were also excellent packers and I am amazed at what all they fit into the storage pod. They were extremely careful and took time to wrap things and stack them in a way they will be secure in the move. Chris T.W. and Jonathan L. definitely need to be lead of their own teams. Their attitudes and personalities were awesome, they felt like instant friends, and made the move fun. They were extremely nice to my 3 year old son, which is always a huge deal to me as a mama. I will definitely be specifically requesting them when I move into my new house. Again, this doesn't even seem to do them justice. My family has had moving experiences before and we will never again move without the assistance of Bellhops!!

The bellhops were fantastic! They worked incredibly hard for 7 hours straight and didn’t slow down until we were through. I know they had to be exhausted! Highly recommend. I love that they charge by the hour instead of how much work needs to be done. My husband and I and a couple friends pitched in to help the job go faster, but the bellhops definitely did most of the heavy lifting. I will certainly use again if ever necessary. The only complaint I have is that the truck driver showed up low on gas. So once we got loaded and began the trek to the new place, he had to stop to fuel up. It didn’t add too much time, but when you are paying by the hour I feel that should have been taken care of in advance. He also didn’t lift a finger to help the bellhops. Not sure if he is a contractor or something and only being paid to drive, but it seemed rather counterproductive for him to be standing around waiting on the bellhops to load his truck.

I am so incredibly happy that I chose Bellhops! I wish I could give them 10 stars. Anthony and Brian were absolutely amazing! They were on time, even early actually, and absolutely pleasant to work with. I had way more stuff than should have ever fit in a 16ft moving truck but they fit everything I had and then some. I was moving stuff out of a walkout basement and it wasn’t easy. You had to go out the back door and around the side of the house that slopes up to get to the driveway. I felt bad because my furniture was heavy and they were like it’s not a problem. In the first 15 minutes they were here, we had discussed what I wanted and both pieces to my sectional couch and dresser were already in the truck. I was shocked. We got everything done in less than 2.5 hours. I am so glad that I chose Bellhops and was lucky enough to get Anthony and Brian. I will surely recommend them to anyone I know needing movers.

The movers were an hour late. They could not fit everything on the truck as they ensured me they could. The team lead offered a follow up move free of charge. A follow up move was scheduled 3 days later and I was provided a reference number. Once the truck arrived to the new home, the movers opened the back of the truck and damaged my dining room table with the door, 2 deep scrapes that ruined the table, they never even covered the table. A $1000.00 table ruined. They had me file an insurance claim for the table. On the follow up move day, they never showed up, when I called, they conveniently could not find my reservation number and refused to reschedule unless I paid an additional $500.00. Once the damage claim was reviewed, they offered my $40.00 which in itself was a complete insult. Very disappointed with this company and lack of accountability to do the right thing.

This is my second time using bellhops and I ended up with the same team twice!! Both times they were amazing, when I got the text the night before from Chris I was so happy I’d have him again! When I found out I was also having Shane come again too I was even happier!! Both guys work hard, show up on time and move your belongings as if they are their own! They do a walk around first to find out what needs to go and then get moving! They get the job done quickly, efficiently and handle everything with care! I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move without any surprise expenses, they are up front with their quote and the cost for any extra time if it is needed! By far the best moving experience two times now!

One of my friends referred me to Bellhops after using their service for their 2 previous moves. I've never used movers before and wasn't sure what to expect, but Bellhops blew me away! The entire process was completely stress free and smooth. From scheduling the move online, to calling their very responsive customer service to reschedule, to getting a text the day of from our lead mover to confirm the time. It was extremely easy! Our movers were beyond fantastic. Shane G. and Harrison M. were friendly and efficient! They immediately got to work when they arrived, and were so helpful in moving our large furniture. I could not recommend them enough to anyone in the Charlotte, NC area looking to move!

Myron, Dillan, and Lamont are amazing professionals. They moved me in only four hours! They are respectful and courteous. I highly recommend these three young men. However, the truck driver was a Black female who looked like she rolled out of bed. She drove wrecklessly and damaged several of my items. Then, she walked into my new place without my permission and walked on my white carpet with her filthy shoes. She was wreaking of Marijuana and cigarettes, which explains her wreckless and careless driving. It took months for me to be reimbursed the damages that occurred during my move. This was my second time using Bellhops and it might be the last.

My first time using Bellhops and it won’t be my last!! The crew showed up early and were ready to go as soon as I showed them my place. It took a little longer than anticipated because I was in the far back corner (about as far away from the moving truck) as they could get. Nate, Jalon, and Shane all loaded things up quickly, carefully, and efficiently. They made as few trips as possible. They took good care of my stuff. Unloading was much faster. They made sure to set up my bed and even changed a dead fire alarm battery for me!! These guys are awesome and so friendly. You won’t regret using Bellhops for your move!!!

Done flawlessly!! These guys were on time gave an estimate on how long they would be and finished early. I was packing up a 3BR house with outdoor furniture and they said we can make it fit and they sure did. Dylan texted me before hand and arrived early to check if I had any questions then the team of Michael, Mike and Deon came in and they all 4 took down items that I had not gotten a chance to break down and took care of it all. Awesome team and would highly recommend to anyone they were respectful, considerate, conscientious, and hard working group! Thanks bellhop and especially my team.

Had them scheduled month in advance to move into our new home for a short distance move. I thought this will be a move without any issues. They send out emails and text message in advance and this looed professional. The day arrived, this was the only day we can make it happen, and the team leader texted me for our address!?! Two movers arrived but no truck for hours to be seen. Computer problems! No real communication up to 11am, we scheduled to start at 8am, except when I called and "customer service" ask me to reschedule the move!?!?!?!?!? Canceled the service at noon to hire my own crew.

The bellhop movers that I recently used in Charlotte, NC consisted of a 3 member team lead by Myles Brooks. The rest of the crew consisted of Dajuan Barbour and Jehthyus Chandler. These guys were fantastic!!! They were very courteous, worked efficiently and effectively as a team and got the job DONE. They were on time and didn't mess around with getting the job taken care of l. I couldn't have been more pleased with the effort, professionalism and care they took with my belongings. I would certainly recommend this crew of guys for any move you have scheduled.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was scheduled for a move. The day of the move I was informed that they couldn’t perform AFTER movers arrived at my house because the truck was being used in a different city. 3 hours later now I have yet to speak to a manager or someone that could help. I was told they could reschedule 3 days from now after my lease is up which it unacceptable and impossible due to my work schedule. I would never recommend the company. I was also informed that this company has tons of complaints despite the high rating.

We used bellhop moving here in Monroe North Carolina. We had 4 guys show up. Myran Foster, Maurice Miller, Lamont Jackson, and Chaz Bryan. These gentlemen worked their tails off and made this move a breeze. Thanks to this team for being professional and quick. If your moving to the Charlotte area or surrounding areas, I would highly recommend bellhop moving services. The service is second to none and the employees are professional, friendly, and hardworking. Thanks again to Maurice and his team for their hard work.

The movers arrived early and packed up everything so quickly. I had all my belongings dropped off at storage facility. It is now been 50 days since the move and gone through my stuff in storage. I’m missing about 8 bins that had shoes and expensive purses. No where to be found. I don’t think they got unloaded from one of the trucks that the girl was driving. I think she stole them and I want them back. Do you have a staging area from where stuff didn’t get unloaded. Please advise I’m very disappointed about this.

These guys were fantastic! Professional, efficient, and made the stressful task of moving a seamless process. They finished before the time limit, and nothing was broken or damaged. This is not a given with some other moving companies. They were also less expensive than some other companies that charge more money for only two movers. I had three movers, and a designated driver for the truck! This company cannot be beat! I will definitely use them again and refer to my friends! Thanks fellas!

The team who worked the job was great!! Unfortunately their supervisor failed to tell them to bring tools for disassembling the 2 beds. Using my pliers took longer because it wasn't the best tool and only one person could disassemble. It would have been much more efficient with both movers doing this work with at least one proper tool. However, they were really great in every other way. So my move went amazingly. Everybody was awesome and James was great at communicating with me even though I made them wait around for my leasing office to open. They were so patient and they completed the move SO FAST. I was shocked by how quickly they managed to move everything I didn’t have a lot of stuff but my boxes were bulky and honestly they made it so much easier on me. I appreciate the guys that came out and next time I move I’ll definitely choose Bellhop!

Booking convenient and quick, Price reasonable for a local move about 20 miles. I had everything disassembled and on the first floor. Only washer and dryer on the second floor. Movers were punctual. Furniture covered and padded but no cover for mattress provided and I wasn’t informed of that and it rained during the end of the job. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience and the checklist that they emailed to me was super helpful.

Based on my experience with Bellhops, I’d gladly recommend the services provided by this moving company. My movers, William E., and Jordan H. were friendly and did an excellent job. I had a scheduling issue in their system when I first scheduled my move and had to reschedule for another day, which may be an issue if you have a tight timeline for your move, but the company adjusted my charges for the trouble so it all worked out for us.

Austin and Devon did a great job unloading a truck for us, it was extremely hot and they did not slow down for a minute. They were also very careful with the stuff and were easygoing and personable. Edit: I did another move and used Bellhops again and wanted to make sure I complimented Justin, Edgar and Griffin. They worked very fast and efficiently with a complex set of items. I've had a great experience with Bellhops in Charlotte.

First experience using Bellhops. I was hesitant at first seeing some of their reviews from other cities, but the Charlotte team/Franchise/Branch have been fantastic. They called to confirm the appointments, offered to adjust the time due to weather concerns, one of the movers showed up early and got to work right away. They worked the whole 2 hours without a break even though it was offered. Very efficient and well worth the price.

Sediq (team lead), Dylan, and Damon helped me move a couple weeks ago and it was the best moving experience I have had to date. They were right on time and very efficient! No-showed for a move in Charlotte. We scheduled this a month and a half in advance and only one member of the crew showed up. Bellhop was unable to find additional crew members and recommended an alternative move date a week out - which doesn’t work because the lease was over. Completely unwilling to accept responsibility for their error. Absolutely do not recommend.

Chris Williams and John Ingram did an amazing job! We had very nice, solid wood furniture that is incredibly heavy and hard to move. Chris led his team with precision and kept our furniture and walls safe from scuffs or chips. On top of it they were just really pleasant people to chat with on top of working with! Do not use Bellhop. Under any circumstances. They were due to start my move at 2pm. They informed me at 2:30pm that they were canceling my move. It created an expensive, frustrating, and awful experience. The move was confirmed multiple times. I had paid a deposit. They didn't care. DO NO RISK IT. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY.

DO NOT believe the high rating overall on Google, if you sort by "recent" reviews, you'll see that at least half are 1-star. Cancelled our move the day of and refused to do anything about it. Shockingly abysmal customer service, getting in touch with someone from the US for a reimbursement was like pulling teeth.
