In my whole life, I was never denied an entry into a so called "public library"... Unfortunately, the lady who is at the entry of Eleanor Public library denied me an entry into the library, because of the fact that I don't reside in Cote St Luc area. I showed her my student card, she even went furthermore to say that Eleanor "Public Library" isn't part of the network of libraries in Québec... If that is the case, then write in bold on your website, so that people won't drive miles to come to your Library, only to be discriminated against... To the lady who sits at the entry of this Library, please be so kind as to update your mindset, we are in 2021. I'm sure you can grab some pamphlets that were written against discrimination and on the fact that only those who feel insecure discriminate against people they don't even know... A library is a place where people get knowledge, not a place where someone comes to discriminate against other people from different backgrounds...

My recent experience at the library in the orange zone, where people are allowed to talk quietly, was disappointing. A group of teenagers consistently disrupts the quiet atmosphere with loud conversations and disruptive behavior, including farting and laughter very loudly. This has happened three times with the same group of people. The rating is however more for the management. When I approached the librarian for assistance, I was surprised to hear that such behavior was allowed. It's unfortunate that the lack of effective management is affecting the overall experience in an otherwise nice place. I never had this experience in other libraries. Very disappointed

Well structured, clean and quite. To access for this library you must be 1. Resident of cote saint luc area. (I visited from avenue clanranald which is not the part of this library.) 2. You should have some bills on your name (I took my internet bill) 3. Health card If they told you that you are not in our area still you can take memebership from them its around $120 per year. Tha staff is very professional and helpful. She suggested me other public libraries which i can access. Also she explored all tge sections of library to me with all explanation. I loved it.....

The librarians here are so organized, helpful, and most importantly, kind. This library has multiple different areas and books, with different levels of noise allowance. Every Monday night there's a chess club meet up and no shortage of other activities and events. There are beautiful collections of art as well as individual pieces hung throughout the library walls. There are also gathering spaces, a spacious kids' corner, and quiet study areas. A true community hub!

I don't even know where to begin, It's beautiful, calm, quit, there are specific tables for students where they can talk but not too loud and where they have chargers, there is a insane variety on books of every topic and the decoration and organisation is absolutely stunning. It's colorful, interactive and has a section for adults teens and children not to mention they almost always have activities and clubs going on.

Lovely library for anyone looking to study or read, must be a resident of the city of Cote St-Luc to use facilities and rent books, but you can join a member as a buddy if you want to sit inside. Plugs everywhere to charge devices while working, LOVELY staff! A cozy place to sit and read in the library, and bathrooms and water fountains of course. Beautiful relaxing place <3

Amazing library. Huge collection, different languages and genres and even movies! Computers that are easy and free for all. Lots of free programs for kids and adults. Very friendly staff. Plenty of volunteering opportunities. Good place to study. Generally just a great place that you enjoy coming to .

Excellent local library! A welcoming spot for the community at large. Interesting activities take place occasionally. Soon early July 2019 there will be a rich exhibition of a well known artist Dr Louis T. His very colorful & attractive paintings are worth viewing! Be there. Details posted in the library.
