I got my office keys cut at Bill's at a very reasonable price. Both new copies didn't work but Alex was super helpful and didn't just fix them but also gave me an extra 2 copies just in case. He also explained exactly what happened to cause the issue...the keys looked identical to the old one but there was a tiny ridge in between that didn't get transferred right. All 4 of the copies worked and they refused to get paid for the extras. Will definitely go back to them in future.

I've used a couple locksmiths over the past few years and each time I've called, I've been shaken down for a higher cash payment over the quoted amount.
