I came in to replace my honeywell air cooler. Immeadiately once i walked in they were not happy to help because i purchased the product in burwood, however rockdale is now my local bing lee. As per the company policy they have to service the faulty product at any bing lee store. They were quick to crack inside jokes about burwood store sending all of the warranty jobs to rockdale - which i found to be unprofessional and also is not my problem if thats how they feel about fellow stores are operating. Once i booked it in they said they would get back to me tomorrow as the system ‘was down’ i waited for 2 days and still didn’t get a response on what was happening with my replacement. I had to call up myself to find out that the honeywell representative had to come out and inspect the cooler before they could replace it. They advised it would be within the week. All in all it took 2 weeks to get the replacement which was outside of promised timeframes of which i recieved no apology. When i went into the store to pick up my cooler a rude gentleman said that they have replaced it this time and this time only and they wouldn’t replace it next time and they only replaced it out of good will. Found this to be an incorrect statement due to the fact that the cooler is still under warranty for another 12 months. He said that I wouldn’t get a replacement next time as the filter had dust in it which was why the cooler malfunctioned. In actual fact the cooler had a short circuit and blew the motor inside. However they were to un-aware to realise the real reason why it was faulty. Which leads me to only wonder if i cleaned the dust from the filter before i brought it in what could they blame it on? In summary not a good experience and this is not a good way to treat your customers or do business.

I purchased an item yesterday around lunch time. A Chinese man assisted us around lunch time who had very poor customer service and needs intense training. He was extremely unhelpful, careless, indolent, unaware of the price match policy, disorganised, lacked time-management, and did not even know who his own manager was!!!! We waited for him for around an hour as he went back and forth in the back room. I understand he was checking things for us however it seemed he was taking his time at the back doing nothing, even we found what he was looking for which was just right behind the item! The stock we wanted was sold out, so we agreed to purchase the display without the box! All we wanted was a price match which complies with the Competitor Pricing Policy conditions but somehow he was full of excuses! Firstly, he insisted that the company I was price matching it with wasn't in the system. Secondly, another reason he cannot price match it is due to the current promotion of 10% gift card of the total costs. I advised I do not want the gift card, I just wanted to price match! He advised for me to go elsewhere if I wasn't happy with the price, and if I wanted to I could speak to the manager at the counter. The person at the counter was busy with another customer so I waited for another 10-15 minutes, once he was free he advised he wasn't even the manager!!! Although this employee was very helpful and was able to price match the item for us straight away! It is extremely disappointing that a simple task could take so much time without any helpful effort. This person is in the wrong industry!! I will never come back again!

We've been to this particular store twice in the last couple of months, The first time we were there, we were looking for a new dishwasher. Almost immediately, a sale guy approached us offered us assistance. This felt very nice, considering that awful experience we had at Harvey Norman where we were completely ignored. The man that helped us was very patience and not pushy at all. He even assisted my wife with looking at the ratings for each of the washing machines on his computer. After spending at least 30 minutes with us, we purchased our dishwasher. He was able to organise delivery of the machine, installation and removal of the old machine 2 days after. The delivery man came as scheduled, it was pouring rain that day and he hesitated to bring he machine up our stairs. This was a bit annoying as we advised Bing Lee we had stairs, which they assured us which was fine. After a discussion with the delivery man, he decided to take it up with my help. Thankfully, the rest went smoothly! We are happy with Bing Lee, the only thing I would complain about would be the range of stock. There wasn't much selection at the store. When we went to the same store for a new washing machine, they had only 3 or 4 top loaders in stock. However, their service guys are always pleasant and helpful which is a huge bonus these days!

Very Happy with the Service the Bing Lee Rockdale team provided especially the great help and knowledge Sales Rep George provided. George was very helpful in recomending LGs new 2020 OLED Tvs and was very knowlegable in the specifications and features that the LG OLED range has to offer. With the new Xbox Series X and PS5 being just released George pointed out to take full advantage of the power of these new machines and to play at 4k @120fps you need a tv equiped with HDMI 2.1 standards. George highlighted the fact that the CX range of OLEDs have 4 HDMI 2.1 ports which is perfect for my setup and the added feature of Nvidia G-SYNC made my decision to go with an LG CX 65inch even easier. I was so happy with the service provided I also opted to pick up a LG BX 55inch model. In a time where technology is constantly evolving and standards are changing having sales reps like George make purchasing new products an easy experience for customers.

Ordered two fridges, first delivery they can't fit fridge from door and ask me to pay $180 to get specialist to get delivered and insetlled. Even i replaced with same model fridge they still can't fit through door,silly thing is i brought same fridge inside and was using for years. And then finally i agreed with them to buy smaller fridge so they can bring inside as i explained them i have few steps and they also told me that's ok and we can organise delivery. But next day when delivery arrived they refuse to bring fridge inside and they left OUTSIDE saying we don't lift fridges??? Really...? And i called bing lee, they ask me to pay another $180 to organise other person who do lift and will bring my fridges inside. BING LEE are you serious?? Who pay $360 for delivery when you advertised FREE DELIVERY AND TAKE OLD FRIDGE Will you? No more BING LEE ZERO STAR FOR YOU.

I bought a new vaccum cleaner from Bing lee which I paid $449 in January 2021. In 21st October I left the vaccum at the Bing Lee store (Rockdale - NSW) because the vaccum had just stopped work and I had warranty on it I haven’t got the vaccum back until now. I have called Bing Lee, Miele assistance every month. i have been to the store and nothing of the vaccum. Now, I just went to the store and they don’t have any idea where the vaccum cleaner is I am so disappointed. Honestly, I own a cleaning company in Sydney, Brisbane and Gold Coast. I used to recommend Miele to all of them and I used to love it. But this was just enough for me Really disrespectful that the maintenance team lost the vaccum, didn’t replace it. The warranty is about to expiry and I have not been using it for more than 6 months.

BUYER BEWARE!! -- Why I'll NEVER buy again from Bing Lee. Bing Lee is like your Chinese market! No refund if you discover the product you bought doesn't suit your needs. When you buy something there you'd better make sure what your buy will work for you because they will not accept returning anything unless of course it's faulty. In my case I purchased a Spotify enabled speaker from the Rockdale store. It was working for a few weeks after which time Spotify decided to only allow premium members to stream to the speaker. Now I'm reverted back to a regular Bluetooth speaker for a premium price tag. Not cool Spotify and definitely not cool from the local store! Bing Lee you lost my business for good! The guys over JB Hi-Fi would never do that!! Shame on you for treating your customers like that!

Very poor costumer service. I bought vacuum cleaner of volta brand before 8 months. Suddenly it stopped working so, I with my friends went there to claim the warranty. But one of the staff from binglee refuse to accept its warranty. He opened the filter and said it was all dusty. He wants filter to be as new as it was at the time of purchase. The way he spoke to us was very rude and he said that the vaccum we bought is not of good quality. According to the staff our vaccum cleaner cost $250 which is very small amount to him and we can only get cheap item with $250. I really don't have anything to say or I am sad that vaccum cleaner is not covered by warranty according to staff. But the way he treat was really ridiculous, rude or let's say something unacceptable.

Very user friendly on-line ordering & check out with options to select your closest store which I did. The ordering if before 3:00pm is said to be confirmed within two hours. Stock level in the chosen store indicated they were available. I ordered after the 3:00pm requirement on Friday but did expect confirmation on Saturday morning. For some reason I did not receive this so called the store around 11:00am on Saturday & it was confirmed that they were ready for collection (two Uefy WI-Fi security cameras).. No drama, I went & collected them & all was good. The price was the best available anywhere & I will be ordering again.

Worst customer service I have ever received. Bought a portable speaker last night and was advised "this will provide 8 hours of use once fully charged". Charged overnight and used this morning and lasted less than 3 hours. Called the store and advised that I would like a refund as this product does not meet my needs and does not perform as I was directed it would for me to purchase - staff were condescending and rude and even the manager was unhelpful. Staff implied that it was our fault the battery didn't last as "you must've played in too loud". I will never purchase from this store ever again!

In the store, the service was good. And I paid for a new refrigerator with delivery and removed the old 60 dollars. Then the nightmare began. December 31. I defrosted the old fridge. And what do you think? Delivery was not. The result is that all the foods have gone bad. Today, January 3, delivery of a new refrigerator has arrived. BUT they did not take the old one. because it was with ice.My loss is 60 dollars delivery and $ 250 foods .This is scam artists and not delivery. I highly not recommend .

Overall exemplary experience with Bing Lee Rockdale. Purchased a Fridge and Washing Machine, the salesperson George and his Manager went out of their way to ensure that everything arrived in a timely manner. From there, the driver Andrew and his partner delivered and installed it flawlessly and without hassle. Turned the stressful situation that is moving, into a much more manageable experience. I would definitely recommend any friends or family to purchase due to the level of customer service.

This store has lost a sale from me, I was willing to purchase a few items from there. I asked if they can give me a good deal for the products and staff member said no, he obviously thought that I wasn't going ahead with the sale. Okay so visited Rhodes bing lee store and they kindly gave me a very good discount. So thank you at the rhodes store where the staff really do look after their customers. Bad luck for the Rockdale store. Remember customer service is first priority

Purchased online for click and collect delivery. Fast, prompt delivery, my order arrived much quicker than the projected ready for collection time stated on the order. I purchased a vacuum online following the flooding of my home but called 2 days later to cancel the order and request a refund. It has now been 9 days, i have called 3 times, and my refund still has not been processed. The last time I was advised that only head office can authorise refunds which does not sound consistent with consumer laws. Given the item never left the store I am appalled at how long it has taken to get the refund (which still remains outstanding!)

I went to the Bing Lee store last week to purchase a trimming product and was not sure which i wanted. James came to assist me and provided outstanding customer service to help me understand products better and choose an appropriate product for me. As someone who works in the retail industry myself, i was very impressed with the service. I hope management sees this and recognizes how good of a worker James is. Well done James!!

Terrible bought a brand new phone which i discovered was faulty after I tried everything updating reboot back to factory settings I went in the day after I bought it and they would not refund me or replace!told me I had to go to the samsung store and get it fixed . I will never shop there again..the guy told me try it without the memory card in...I did and was still freezing and restarting ...buy here at your own risk.

I recently purchased a Bissell Revolution x2 (Pet) Carpet Cleaner from this store and the service was great! By far, Bing Lee had the best price for this carpet cleaner and it is worth every cent. They also had the carpet cleaner I required although there are some in the kit which comes with the cleaner. If you have pets and want your carpet coming up "like" new, this is the one to buy

Ordered product over 6 weeks ago, 10th of May to be precise, called today and asked what was going on...there was no comment. Requested refund of purchase, no problem with that, however they didn't insist on helping to figure out what the issue was with the delay nor compensate for the inconvenience. They are fabulous people to deal with and the store has good prices - I know because I shopped around - but price isn't everything!!!! 10 out of 10 Rockdale Bing Lee!!!!! Sold me a faulty laptop, and only offered to send it off for repairs - and told me it could be anywhere between 4-6 weeks till I get it back. I explained I was willing to pay whatever the difference was to get a new laptop, but they did not care. Do not purchase from this company. Just had a stove delivered and must say George who delivered it was very knowledgable and helpful. It was found the gas pipe from the wall was in the wrong position and he contacted a plumber who came later in the day to fit a new gas pipe. Excellent service.
