Call at 9am, you're on the phone for 15 mins before you get through. You're told that you're 'number one in the queue' fo 4 minutes. When the receptionist finally answers she tells you that there's no appointments for today and you'll have to call back this afternoon. You explain how long you was on the phone for and how long you was number one in the queue and the response you get is 'I know loads of people are complaining about it. I don't understand how the appointment system works'. I've been told to call back at 4 to see if I can get in for an evening appointment! Previously to this, my test results have been lost so I've had to go back to the surgery to take another test. You're always told that if you're more than ten minutes late the doctor won't see you. I have been 10-15 minutes early for appointments and have had to wait up to 30 minutes PAST my appointment time to be able to see the doctor. When you go in they don't even apologise for the wait. Terrible service. I've been with this doctors surgery for 26 years, I'm now considering changing it. I'm truly appalled and disappointed.

I have been a patient at this practise for well over 20 years. I am so pleased that i am a patient here because in comparison to other surgeries this is by far one of the best. Its easy to book an appointment, the patient acsess system is fantastic, the staff at all levels are respectful and approachable and the Drs are very aware of their patients immediate and long term needs. The receptionists' always go out of their way to try to help and the nurses are just so lovely. If your looking to move here dont listen to the moaners and try it out because they are efficient and have a good system in place that seems to work well.

this surgery is an absolute disgrace, ive been at this surgery for 25 years,the doctor,knowing i have stents in my heart,i went 2 surgery profusely sweating due to my condition massive pain in my stomach they put me at the end of the surgery .As i was in such pain i knocked on doctor ojukwu door and he said cant see you ive only come 2 pick up some files I had 2 call for a ambulance as i had e coli poisoning this is the doctor that sworn 2 save lives.I have now been thrown off this surgery for swearing at a receptionist .if you read other peoples,reviews, you will see what us people are up against.

Terrible GP service. The staff are useless, I lost the paper I had written my appointment time on so I called to confirm the time. They had me on hold for 45 minutes and by the time they answered my appointment had passed 5 minutes ago. No future appointments available now they said, call back in two days they said. No appointments until February. Then the GP doesn't chase up on important results. I had an echocardiogram done in mid October and now is nearly the end of January with no results in sight. When I ask the GP he keeps blowing me off. I am going to switch GPs

The worst GP Surgery ever, the receptionist Ram is the most rude and unreasonable person I have come across. She doesn't know what she is doing and I called to book an appointment from a minute to 3pm, I was number 3 in the queue however it took over 20 minutes for them to connect me. Eventually she answered and acted like an appointment was available, then as soon as she took my details she chose to tell me there was no appointment available. Horrible service and the staff need training on being empathy to patients.

Fabulous Surgery and Staff very helpful ... Sad that people who leave dreadful comments only do so because they know they can get away with it, often hiding behind fake Google Mail accounts - about time Google allowed businesses to be able to ‘Legally’ take control of malicious and unfounded reviews (often left by rival businesses) and delete them - why hasn’t the legal profession picked up on this yet? Once again, thank you to Birmingham Heartlands Surgery for all the good work you do in our local community.

The sugery including staff was perfect until it was owned by Mr. Thomas. AFTER THAT IT's TERIBLE! First of all, to get a appointment is a mission, 95% of the time your chance is to not get a appointment, if you call 10 minutes early, they will pick your call up 2 hours and then getting a response of ''fully booked'', the way how the staff greet you is rude. If I have to book an appointment, it has to be atleast 3 weeks in advance, which defeats the point of getting an appointment.

I called them early in the morning and stayed for 1 hour and 30 mins yes 1h30 mins!!! (17 in the queue). When I finally get the receptionist on the phone I was told there's no appointment for today. Well I asked to get an appointment for tomorrow but their system only allow them to book appointment for the current day. The only option I was left with was to call them again at 4 pm to see if they maybe have an evening appointment. What a terrible service!

I have always had an Excellent Service at Birmingham Heartlands Surgery, and I must emphasise the word, 'Service', because nothing is too much trouble whenever i have had the need to contact them. The receptionists are always very welcoming and both the nurses and doctors have given me every help and service with my particular health issues. I can't Speak highly enough of the service that they give the community.

The thing I love most about this gp is the receptionist Asian lady with a hijab, and a afro Carribbean lady , they give you on the day appointments if you call early enough, most of the staff are lovely also doctors and nurse. Left 1 star off because I feel there's staff from joint surgery that pretty that keep calling for things already sorted, so with maybe communication

Worst surgery EVER! I tried to book an appointment several times with them but they always have 3/4 weeks dates, today they referred me to a different surgery and I asked for the address and the person I spoke to said to find it myself! THIS GP NEEDS PROFFESSIONAL STAFFS NOT RUDE STAFFS THAT MAKE PATIENTS FEEL BAD ABOUT THEMSELVES SPECIALLY WHEN THEIR ILL!

Reception staff was really helpful. She helped me to set up online app to book appointment with doctors and nurses. Now I can book appointment of my choice on same day or mostly within couple of days. I can see significant improvement in the last one year. Congratulation to you all and thanks for providing such a wonderful service.

Can never get appointment some of the staff haven't got a clue about anything if you ask or rude on phone# only reason I stay there is because local# since it's joined druids heath ace # expect us to travel up there for different things I don't see why when surgery is 5mins (heartland)

Worst gp surgery I've ever had to deal with!!! Worst customer service if you can reach it, never getting appointments even for a baby!! The staff are rude and arrogant not only that but they lie they have chased results when they have not. Disgusting excuse of a surgery

This is a brilliant surgery. They are professional, dedicated and extremely kind. They will always go the extra mile to cater for your needs. I've never struggled to get an appointment here, even during COVID and I've always been treated

The girl at the customer service is a horrible and so rude and hardly can speak or explain I dont know if she has a mental problem or just a RBF face. Find another job we are already sick we dont to be more sick when we see u.

absolutely ridicolous. no help what so ever. when currently I needed a emergency appointment due to being so ill it's a joke. Tried to refer me to stirchley when I live in stechford. appalling service.

Heartland is a Good surgery.. with two great nurses Maxine and Nicola, they alway listen to your concerns and always welcoming when I’ve seen them.. they are a great asset to the surgery..

TERRIBLE SERVICE! takes forever to get an appointment and some of the receptionists can be quit mean on the phone! Doctors need to be more considerate of there patient!

I do not recomend this surgery. Terrible service. Lazy receptionists. Takes a month to see the doctor. Doctors dont take your situation into consideration.

Very bad. They will cancel your emergency appointment at any time. Doesn't care if your appointment is important.
