Blackler Residents was recommended by our Insurance Company to put a new roof on our home after a hail storm. I have used several trades in my industry but speak very highly of Robert and his crew. They were quick to start on removing the old roof and worked long hours to have the new roof installed in good time. They are very professional and kept us informed every step of the way. I was made aware right away of additional work that unearthed and am very pleased how they repaired the damage for us. The area was always cleaned up before leaving at the end of the day including sweeping a magnet over the ground for stray nails. Blackler made sure we were completely satisfied in their job and would be back to fix any areas in the future if they should arise. I highly recommend them for any roofing project whether it be an insurance claim, repair or even a new build. We definitely will use them again if we need to.

Blackler was terrible when we used them as a subcontractor. Zero accountability with the staff they sent and went weeks between communications on ongoing jobs. Though naturally, the jobs should have just been done and weren't. On top of that, in regards to my previous employment with them, the company is constantly unable to pay people on time, makes pathetic efforts to upkeep its employees' documents, uses staff without fall arrest, and didn't have a business license for the city of Edmonton, at least as of the date I ended with them. I would never work for this company or hire them again. Furthermore, as they have missed real deadlines, I now have to seek ministries' aid to get them to file paperwork.

Had a very good experience with this company as they were professional, punctual and very friendly. I needed repairing on my roof and was referred to Blackler Residents by a friend and they did not disappoint. They kept me updated through out the entire project and finished the job in a timely manner. Having your roof repaired can sometimes be a scary task especially if you don't know much about roofing. Blackler residents is exactly what you want when looking for a roofing contractor. They are a family owned business so they actually care. They explain everything so you can make some sort of sense out of your situation. The owner will come check up on the work while it’s being done and introduce himself. The prices are cheap compared to other legal contractors, they don’t want to gouge your wallet. They literally came back a few days after the job was done and gave me a coffee mug and some swag. Good job Blackler Residents, couldn’t ask for better service !

Amazing service; meeting with the Owner for an estimate was friendly and professional, he explained exactly what I needed in terms I could understand. The roofers were on time and worked quickly to get my roof up fast as we were on a dead line. Everything was kept clean and couldn't even tell they were there except for the excellent roof left behind. Would highly recommend.

Great experience dealing with Blackler residents getting my roof replaced. They showed up on time and got my roof done quickly but most importantly done properly and great quality! I used to be a roofer myself and went on the roof for an inspection after they were done, great attention to detail!
