Do not send your kids to blackwood. Most of the teachers do not care about the students AT ALL, if you’re a girl you will probably deal with A LOT of bullying and harassment, if you’re a boy it might be ok. Students of different races, in the LGBTQ+ community, or with disabilities are constantly targeted and harassed. I get harassed almost every day by different groups of people, and the teachers don't care. I have tried to get them to do something about it but they come up with excuses. Don’t go to blackwood.

Great place, teachers aren't bad but aren't too good either (except Mr. Blacklock he has more wisdom than master oogway). Facilities are cool, work aren't too hard. It's not too strict, the kids that wrote negative reviews either wanted to go to a private school, blame the school system(which literally is the same on all schools), or just hate all schools in general. Recap: Good school, Mr Blacklock deserves a raise, I've never seen bullying in this school, bad reviews are made up.

I went here for a year and a half and I hated it. I was going through a tough time mentally from being depressed for 4 whole years and all I got was being told off and getting yelled at because I wouldn't show up to class. I moved to a new school and it's amazing. This new school has done something this school couldn't. Even with a smaller budget. Someone needs to run these teachers and adults through this school and let everyone bully the life out of them.

please, please, please don't send your kids here. the bullying and inequality is insane but you never hear about it because those in higher positions such as the year leaders and principal sweep it under the rug and pretend nothing happened. no one is punished for their actions or helped when they struggle. the 'diversity promotion' is a disgrace and so are most of the leaders. please don't subject you or your child to it.

Legitimately this school is really good, there are so many worse places to go in SA. Generally speaking Blackwood is a very respectful, and safe place to attend with various learning opportunities, and ease of access through public transport. Totally recommend this as public school of choice.

Blackwood is a great school, the teachers there are caring and know what they are doing. The main problem is the students within the school, not the teachers. It has a good facilities and offers a wide range of subjects, especially if you are interested in the arts or tech.

Excellent caring teachers that treat their students like human beings, nothing respect, fairness and patience while I was there. Miss Asser especially Great opportunities, facilities and the canteen food was the main reason I rocked up (most days) …

I attended this school and the school had very few good teachers. Lots if the teachers have uneffective teaching methods and other were just mean and didn't teach at all. Don't send your children here unless you want them to turn out like drop kicks.

Over all pretty good school,the facilities are good and for the most part the teachers are good too. The best teacher is Mr Blacklock (he deserves a very big raise) the students are fairly nice and from what I have seen there is no bullying.

Spent 4 years here after moving from England. It's a good school, most teachers friendly, some not. The teaching system is worthwhile as long as you're willing to put in the effort to succeed.

I think it really good you have a lot of creative freedom when it comes to work and projects. Teachers are nice and the facilities are real nice.
