First time I ever had a donut from this place was over 3 years ago, when a visitor brought some into the place I work. I had the small custard cream filled donut with icing sugar coating. It was hands down the best donut I've have in my adult life. (That being said I've only had donuts from a handful of places, so there isn't too much comparison). Not a huge fan of the maple and chocolate coated ones because they were too sweet for my liking. The jam was alright. BUT oh my goodness gracious... the mini chocolate filled one was even BETTER than the custard cream filled one. Sadly, it's just a seasonal item and is only sold at Christmas time. I lucked out one year and happened to drop by after meeting a friend and got a couple. Tried to get them again but was told that it's only a Christmas time item. They have breads and other food items, which I haven't tried.

I've mentioned this place to my friends and family and they all love it, especially when I give them fresh donuts! I most certainly will be back for more. I would give this a higher rating but the donuts are a little on the expensive side. NOTES FOR THE OWNER- Maybe have daily specials like buy so many specific donuts on that day and receive one free donut. -Or you could start a donut rewards program. So they could get a stamp for each donut they purchase and on the 12th stamp they could get a free donut of their choosing :) -This will increase your chances of someone coming in again, because people love rewards! Absolutely love this bakery. Introduced to it by Awet and will forever be a customer! Pre ordered some birthday donuts and asked for a random request for Boston creams with no chocolate sauce and they happily supplied them for me! I can’t believe it’s dairy free as the Boston cream filling is literally something I’d eat with a spoon! Haha Thank you for the excellent service and donuts

I needed to find a dairy free cake for my super lactose intolerant boyfriend so I googled “dairy free cakes edmonton” and this was the first result. We got an 8 serving chocolate overdose cake. We were going to do a bday dinner for him and this cake was for the dinner. Something came up and we had to cancel the dinner last minute but long story short - my boyfriend and I finished the whole cake by ourselves in 2 days. It was SO good and SO moist. You’d never know it was a dairy free cake!! Super impressed. Will definitely be getting all my cakes here from now on! Thanks Bliss Bakery! ❤️

We've had donuts from here many times for work and they've always been amazing, and this weekend I ordered a birthday cake from Bliss and it was to die for!!! It's so nice to have a place where I don't have to worry about dairy (as I'm very lactose intolerant) and everyone was so kind! There was a slight hiccup with the long weekend closure but the owner even offered to come in on Sunday for me to pick up the cake if we needed. It was so generous and I appreciated how they went the extra mile! Will definitely be ordering from here for all my future baking needs.

I wanted to surprise my friend since she is new to Edmonton (and her birthday was coming up), but she has a lot of food allergies. When I called this morning, the staff were super kind, friendly and very accommodating to all the allergies my friend has. They even topped the cupcakes off with their doughnut glaze instead of frosting because I told them she's allergic to chocolate as well. And better yet, she really liked them! I can't thank this place enough and I hope for nothing but the best for them! Thank you so much for completing my request!

Swung by here on a whim. Happy to see I could grab a Vegan gluten free treat for myself to enjoy with my mom for her birthday. She mentioned the red velvet was moist and flavorful. The donuts looked fresh with variety. Not to mention the cupcake variety with a root beer and carrot cake flavour. Yum! I'll return to this small business next time I'm celebrating something in the area Observation walking into the store. Everyone was wearing masks with hand sanitizer available all over the store. Lots of parking at this location.

My favorite bakery in Edmonton. Many folks may not have been here yet or know that they have the most amazing donuts. The staff is super friendly and bliss is still family owned and operated. They have a great variety of goods; donuts, sugar cookies, bread, bagels, soups, lunch specials and cupcakes (to name a few). People often name one donut place in Edmonton as their fav (you know the one) but you can tell that the goods at bliss are made with love. They also have gluten-free and vegan options (and vegan donuts)!

I can't rave enough about this bakery! First off, the doughnuts are INCREDIBLE. Second, this was one of very few options to get a vegan custom wedding cake cake and WOW was it incredible! Amazing, moist, flavorful cake that all of our non-vegan gusts raved about. It was gorgeous, and the icing was not greasy at all, just delicious. The process of ordering and meeting with the baker was fantastic, I really can't wait to order another one for our anniversary just because it was so good! 10/10 recommended!

Our family could eat until we explode. And a huge freezer is filled with 2 for 1 specials. What a dear and delicious homèy spot.

Wow! This place is legit! Just so many delicious vegan options. Bought six cupcakes and the holiday treat platter. Incredible! There is construction around them but they are open! It looks like they might not be but it’s just the set up during construction. Don’t let that stop you from supporting this awesome business so we can continue having vegan treats like these! They completely live up to their name. Walking in you'll be greeted by a chorus of welcomes and smiles. They have friendliest most helpful staff I've dealt with in recent memory. Tons of vegan options, including the daily lunch specials. Today I'm having their veggie and dumplings soup with a 'sausage' roll and it's delicious! They have a huge variety of vegan donuts, and they are fantastic by any standards! I cannot recommend this bakery highly enough.

Surprisingly good bakery, has a few vegen friendly options, i didn't try any of them but dough used for the doughnuts is heavier than tim hortons, but not dense kind of heavy. Mango doughnut (picture) was amazing, i would personally prefer it as a filled but a center style was still good. Mango was preferred over the maple but will definitly be an option. Pricing was more than fair, both doughtnuts around the $2 mark. Will shop here again.

Amazing Facilities staff is fantastic, The only issue I came across was when I came to get a vegan baked good their options were either loafs of bread, granola bar, fruit bar, of sorbet. So if you are looking for a vegan baked treat I don't believe this is the spot. But if you are looking for amazing bread yes this is your location! The service is fantastic, the baked goods are fantastic, the vegan "treat" options are not / non-existence

The most divine baked goods and kind services in all of Edmonton hands down! If you haven't tried their famous doughnuts then you have to make it a top priority very soon, loads of vegan options and they cater to various different needs with their dairy and nut free options as well! We've had many beautiful cakes made here in the past as well and will always return for the warm and inviting family feel of this Edmonton gem!❤️

Was looking for some kosher treats and found bliss bakery online , wow just walking in the front door the aromatics were fantastic, I had a difficult time deciding what I was going to get so I picked out a big box full so I'll have to go back to try the other goodies, an absolute must the staff where very polite and helpful like the one lady said you don't have to be Jewish to enjoy these goodies, I'll be back for sure !!

Got some delicious sufganiot for Hanukkah, and am excited to come back to try the other baked goods. It was busy the entire time we were there even with a smaller amount of selection first thing in the morning. Service was friendly and helpful :)

Absolutely amazing. Their vegan donuts are the best donuts I've ever had. The staff are absolutely lovely. It made me not want to leave. Adorable atmosphere. Tons of vegan options including amazing meals like the falafel platter with home made hummus. To die for. I will definitely be back soon! Prices are good too! Much cheaper than other places that offer vegan treats, and the quality is so much higher ❤

Visited yesterday for the first time to grab a dozen donuts and was not disappointed! They're so fluffy and perfectly flavored. I love that the entire bakery is nut free. Both myself and my husband have nut allergies, so we usually have to skip dessert. Not now! I will definitely be back to try more - the variety of items looked so tempting. Staff was very kind, and I felt the bakery was safe and clean.

They have super yummy food! Today, we got cupcakes both regular and gluten-free. They did not disappoint. The store looks like it might be closed because of construction, but don't let that stop you. They're open and super friendly, this bakery is definitely going to be a regular spot for me. :)

its amazing. Literally the best bakery I've ever been to. The donuts melted in my mouth. The only frustrating thing was that all there stuff looked so good I didn't know what to get I wanted to try everything. Plus its nut and dairy free. You can't get better then that if you are in Edmonton its not a question that you have to go to this place.

Always delicious, their donuts are my fav, and often they have the best freezer sales. Buy a box of 12 donuts, and throw in microwave one at a time for like 30 seconds. Taste like they are fresh out of the oven. OUR favorite way to go, always ready at hand. The best customer service and atmosphere, must make it your go to bakery!

The baking looks amazing but to be clear they AREN'T GLUTEN FREE nor do they have gluten free items. They have items made with gluten free flour but there’s NO precautions taken. Everything is made and baked together. I drove here because of all the “gluten free” reviews just to find out there’s nothing I could have.

Really friendly staff, great selection of vegan treats. We bought butterbeer, chocolate chip cookie dough, lemonade, and cookies and cream cupcakes, 12 old fashioned cinnamon rolls, and a whoopie pie (cupcake). I've only eaten half a whoopie pie so far, but it was delicious. My cousin comes here every 2 weeks.

The service here is outstanding. When it comes to specific food allergies, they are quick to point out what you can and cannot have, which really takes the guess work out of it. The food is always fresh and retains the freshness when frozen, which is a clear indicator of quality ingredients.

I don't understand how come I had never tried these pastries. They are definitely the best vegan pastries I've found in Alberta. The donuts are simple and perfect. Nothing tastes healthy, everything tastes the way it's supposed to. I am in love but also scared I'll become addicted.

The Black Russian Rye was outstanding and maybe deserving of the high price, BUT $16.10 for 6 donuts is outrageous. They were good but not any better than most other places. The prices were not displayed and after they were boxed I was not about to say forget it.
