Have been to this place multiple times and each time there is something different about the food and staff... Staff are always rude and not assertive and are not willing to help. They'd rather sit on their phones or talk amongst each other instead of serve their customers. Went to pay the bill and their was a sign that stated there was a minimum of $25 on card and my table's bill cost almost $50, so I paid using my AMEX card. After paying, and about to walk out, the woman called me back and said that I paid with an AMEX card so they now need to charge me a surcharge at which i replied, it does not state anywhere that you charge extra. She then ignored me and typed in an additional $2.00 on the eftpos terminal and demanded i pay the surcharge. I refused and stated that by law, they need to state that they charge a fee otherwise they cannot do so and then to top it all off.. she grabbed my card out of my hand and tapped the eftpos machine and said, bye. YOU DO NOT TAKE SOMEONE'S CARD OUT OF THEIR HANDS AND CHARGE A $2.00 SURCHARGE FEE WHEN THEIR IS NO SIGNAGE. I will not be returning to this restaurant and will not be suggesting it to any of my friends. You should be ashamed of yourself. I own a cafe and the fee should not be passed onto a customer. Don't accept AMEX.

I went here today 29/3/18 at 6pm. The restaurant not really busy. The food is great but all Became so tasteless because of one particular waitress poorly served us. She is a skinny short girl with short hair and a bit older than the others. Her customer service the worst so far in any food service i have ever been in 2018. She was on the phone taking order and i was patiently waiting for almost 10 mins. She didnt even want to see my face or at least she could say ‘wait a minute please’ but she kept ignoring me. After finished talking on the phone she didnt even apilogise. She then said the price i have to pay. After paying. She didnt even say thank you. Really worst customer service. What make it worst, she didnt even smile. Nothing personal, but this is the fact. Because of this poor customer service, i would never come again. Thanks to her.

The only thing I liked about this place was the menu looked promising but the food was disgusting my hoison beef red raw not even cooked with 2 ingredients missing from dish the pad thai taste like tomatoe sauce and missing lemon and peanuts kids meal is really boring just rice and egg and rice has this really gross taste chicken wings that came with it are really dry. And when I rang to complain no one understands myself or husband just thinks we are making another order really frustrating as we had to drive back to sort out food so we can eat and really not looking forward to anything there could be to eat instead of the food we have tried turns out we were right we got hokien noodle were not suprised that its just as gross as everything else. What a waste of money.

Food was good however pitty the service didn't match . The place wasn't busy, however greeted by a short older woman with short hair in her 50's aprox. lacking any personality, no smile. A goat herder would have done a better job at showing us to our table. When it came time to order, very difficult to get the attention of the waitress as she was looking at the floor or too busy cleaning tables. It seems the web site and the table menu prices also differed in price. I asked for some extra condiments once again same waitress not happy about my request. Other staff were slightly better. I won't be coming back any time soon. I wasn't surprised it seems other people have already experienced the same lack of decent service at this restaurant.

Three of us went to Blue Buddha for lunch last Friday. We ordered the three dishes from the menu and waited. One dish came. We waited for the other two dishes. Over 15 minutes later after looks and inquiries from us the dishes arrived. The noodles were cold and the meat burnt. This completely ruined a family lunch for three adults. No apology was offered, no reduction in price was offered. This is not a cheapo place so I expected better service from an almost empty restaurant. I even had to find someone to take my order when we first arrived. The two cooks were on the phone or chatting whenever I looked their way. They simply forgot to cook three dishes for three people. When they realised they had forgotten us they still stuffed it up.

I have to give you 5 stars. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, always clean and organized and fresh food. I have never had such nice thai food, crunchy fresh veggies and big servings before at other thai places. This one is worth it. You pay for what you get. Great menu choices to. Thank you for a lovely dinner, one i could crunch and enjoy not have to revive the veggies coz over cooked like other thai places.

The food tastes good, however the customer service from its owner is terrible, this is the second time I visit the restaurant, the first time I thought it could be part of a bad day from the waitress who by the way, She is also the cashier and manager, I think. But on my second visit she was even more rude, since we got to the restaurant she warned us that we should eat quickly and at the end, we barely dropped the spoon and even not finishing our plate, she was lifting the table in a hurry. It is a shame 'cause they have a good cook but the service is terrible and also extremely expensive compared to other good Thai restaurants.

They do not care at all about your order as they have been Paid via MENULOG I ordered $120 worth of Thai through MENULOG 2.5 hours later I contacted the restaurant the lady advised this was delivered No it was not you delivered to the wrong address She said oh oh we deliver to this place and tried explaining no this is completely wrong FYI I order from here atleast fortnightly for the last 4 years.. Have been here a few times. Location is great. Service is below average; the waitress did not understand our order, considering we repeated it 4 times. Also did not attend to our order promptly- had to wait a while before we could order. Very over priced for what it is worth- kids meal didn’t include a drink (probably should). $5 for a glass of juice is expensive. Food is average, flavours aplenty, but have had better Thai. I went to this restaurant yesterday for dinner. The food was okay but the staff were not welcoming at all. One stadf member kept coming around saying "May I take your plate away, are you finished ?" The plate still had food on it. I felt like the staff wanted us to leave. Even if the food was superb, with staff like that, how could anyone enjoy their meal ? I think these guys need to show some appreciation towards their customers,,maybe they need to sit through a customer service course or something. I'm not a fan of arrogance, not going back....

I have been eating at this place since it opened. It was fantastic. Friends & family always ate there and love it. We have been unable to go due to Covid and was very excited to order our first takeaway this Friday. What an awful disappointment we ordered two entrees and two curries. The entrees were ok not usual but the curries full of sauce and had just two tablespoons of meat & vegetables in EACH takeaway container. What a rip off. Not what you use to get . Very angry to be taken advantage of. If it happens again I will not be back there

We were quite disappointed because we used to enjoy coming to Blue Buddha but the food was far below expectations and it felt like the staff didn't care. Tofu fried into a withered husk Scallops of questionable freshness Small portion sizes and a Thai Ice Tea with so much sugar that I wasn't sure if it was ice cubes or sugar cubes floating in the glass. The only nice thing we had were the slices of fresh cucumber on the side of our main. Since this is the second time we've been disappointed we will not be coming back.

I have always found the food to be very good and a little more imaginative than most Thai restaurants however the service is consistently inconsistent, Some of the staff are reasonably pleasant enough but others can't even muster a smile let alone say thank you or barely speak to you which is very "un-Thai." Given that its not the cheapest Thai in the area I am leaning towards returning to my original Thai restaurant where the service is always welcoming and pleasant

I used to really like the vege chilli basil stir fry, been getting it as a takeaway for years. Last night I got it home and the only veges were nearly all just green beans and a few bits of carrot and some onion, with barely any sauce. The lady at the counter is always rude but I bypassed that as the food was good. I won’t be going back. Expensive Thai and it was not nice at all. If you want to keep customers, be consistent and don’t fill vege stir fry’s with beans!

I will give no star for the customer service if I can, but no option for doing so. The Restaurant wasn't even busy but i waited at the door, even though the waitress saw me from afar. That Asian lady with fair skin and shor hair (waitress) Even when she eventually seated me down, she looks so grumpy and not smiling at all. Seriously has attitude issue, no hospitality whatsoever. Will definitely not goback.

Today 21/6/23 the waitress was rude and unhelpful, told me to get the menu myself, didn't point out that I ordered an entree instead of a main, the menu is stupid being on 2 sides it's easy to miss half of it. No help from Miss Useless Service today.

We went with a group of friends to eat. The girl that served us hardly understood English. When we finish, I wanted to pay for what I had and she was charging me for everyone’s. She said she couldn’t charge us separately. That I had to pay for everything. We tried to explain many time we wanted to pay separately but she insisted it was not possible. Totally crazy!!

My new favourite Thai! Booked a table online and was waiting for us when we arrived. Food came out promptly and was delicious. Been here four times and recommend!

Worst Thai food Ordered Pad See Eiw noodle with crispy pork came half takeaway container full of oil and burnt food. I have a picture taken as a proof, Please don’t make a mistake like i did. I even did sent email but didn’t get any response so I have to post it. This restaurant should be shut down.

Our 2nd visit to this restaurant and I couldn’t wait. No doubt the food is great but lack customer service big way. Owners and staff have attitude problem..even if asked for the simplest thing like salt or chillies. I had recommended this restaurant to many of my friends...I myself wouldn’t go back there again...

Disappointing. Order was mixed up, so vegetarian was given chicken with their noodles instead of tofu. Once corrected the tofu was done to death and sauce was flavourless. My chilli basil didn't seem fresh, and was also lacking flavour - could only taste salt & pepper. Front of house lady tried her best though.

The girl in the counter is very rude. She treated me as if i am making any bad vibes entering to the restaurant. This girl should learn to behave with delivery driver. Look at her attitude. These drivers are one who is making your business run online. I will never accept any order from this restaurant ever.

Very poor. I ordered two vegetable pad see ews with one of the meals containing a Snail shell within the food which i suspect happened due to the vegetables not being cleaned properly or even at all. Absolutely disgusted with this and would not recommend this place to anyone due to such unhygienic levels.

After reading reviews i was a bit sceptical about this place but still decided to go for a dinner with my family. I had no issues with the service and girls were great and helpful , food was really good and tasty . Also very large size dishes !!!! We enjoyed it , we will come back in near future.

Nice location , good atmosphere a little bit of a wait , as there was a few tables that needed to be cleaned , The hokkien noodles was nice and the rice was flavourful which was nice as for the satay chicken wasn’t to happy about that it wasn’t cooked properly which is a little concerning.

One of the yummiest Thai food restaurants .... We've ordered home delivery a few times from here and always been completely satisfied with the delicious food when it arrived. We're both very happy we've discovered The Blue Buddha, nothing like delicious Thai food to warm up the soul!

My experience with this restaurant was ok except for the manager, looking at me and her guests with discust bot a nice person I must say!! The food wasn't too bad but she made me hate going there, throwing the plates and cups on the table! Very disrespectable!!

I think this restaurant must be a 'hit & miss'. We previously ate at Blue Buddha and the food was terrific, however we took friends last night (a Monday night) and I don't know if it was a substitute chef but the food was undercooked and dry.

My new favorite Thai restaurant! Ordered three dishes which were amazing. The fragrance of the Massaman Curry was so fresh with coconut milk and tender beef. And the spices in the Khao pad kee Mao fried rice and hokkien noodle were delicious.

Staff are rude, Menu is incorrect and when you order they tell you rice for instance is extra even though its on the menu, Food is very much below standard - the only thing Thai about it is the sfaff! Take it from me - GO ELSWHERE!

Excellent Thai. Probably some of the best Thai especially in the Sans Souci area. They can be a bit hit and miss in their consistency but that doesn't detract from the flavours which are sublime. Highly recommend the satay dishes.

The food was absolutely incredible. Delicious Pad Thai, and the specials were on point. Highly recommend trying this place out. Its a shame there are a few lesser starred reviews, they have exceptional food. Worth a visit :)

Was nice until I got food poisoning for 4 days from a prawn hokkein noodles dish. Clearly imported frozen prawns that weren't fresh and so disappointing. Never again.

Great food and place, in my opinion the best place to eat a good fish. We already been 2 times there and actually is very far from our home, but is worthy go there.
