I wasn’t going to bother with leaving a negative review but the last straw for us is the fact that we ended our contract on Dec 15 & their large and intrusive sign is still on our property, never picked up. This is a perfect example of why we asked to terminate our contract with them as our sellers agents - we should have noticed before signing that all of their positive reviews are from clients who used them as buyers agents, not sellers. We were excited to work with them as they talk a really good game about how they only take a certain number of listings on to give each individualized attention and they use unique marketing strategies and only sign contracts up to 30 days because they have short listing periods due to their strategies. None of this was true once we signed our contract with them. From the start, we had frustrations. We asked them not to use a lockbox because we had a keypad instead, but the next day a man showed up and installed a lockbox. We asked for an open house to be cancelled and the next day we had somebody show up for said open house that we had to turn away. We had to pry for any feedback from viewings and the open houses we had were hosted by two different agents who didn’t introduce themselves and had never been in the house before. We had to ask to be notified if any changes to scheduled showings came up, after one day when we packed our pets into the car and sat waiting with no knowledge that the showing had been cancelled. We asked for the listing description to be changed to more accurately represent the property because their original description was clearly not attracting the right buyers and giving false expectations. We waited a week and saw no change made. We started feeling like we were doing all the strategizing and had no idea where this “personal attention to each listing” they advertised had gone. When we asked about a change in strategy, their only suggestion was more open houses, which we had told them wasn’t going to work, and lowering the price, which we had already done. I’m not sure what’s any different about them over other agents.. they have clients control showings through an app, which can be a positive for ease of scheduling but also.. who is doing the work and communicating? We asked for our contract to be terminated and apart from trying to convince us that they suddenly had a buyer that would be disappointed, they ended the contract promptly which we appreciated. But if anyone from Blue Chip sees this, please come get your sign. Also, we never understood why said sign doesn’t say “for sale,” it just says “marketed by,” which to us, seemed like questionable marketing from the beginning.

Last year was a difficult year for everybody but at the same time something great happened to us. My wife and I decided to start our research to buy a house and we decided to call the best Realtor in San Diego, Alex Tuccio. We have worked with Alex before when we bought our first condo in Mission Valley with him and it was a great experience. We explained him what we wanted and he delivered in a very professional and timely manner. We loved that place so much and lived there for a several years but we were ready for a house. We contacted Alex again to get some advice and comments about the market and to explain him our situation. We needed to sell the condo first in order to get the house. Alex gave us some recommendations and suggestions and didn’t stop working until he got us our DREAM HOUSE in San Carlos. We Love this house so much and we couldn't have done it without Alex. The entire selling the condo and buying the house process was great because Alex made it clear, simple, professional and amazing for us. He was always available, he was very patience with us and the most important thing, he was very honest with us when we most needed to hear a recommendation or a suggestion. I 100% recommend Alex Tuccio to everybody that is looking to buy or sell a house or condo. I will definitely work with him again and will make sure that all my friends and family consider working with him based on the great experience we had.

We used Arlo to help sell our home, while simultaneously purchase a new home. We had many time sensitive stipulations, and Arlo took everything in stride. He was able to juggle these and additional complications that arose, without added pressure or stress on my end. For example: The home we wanted to purchase was bank owned. Offers had fallen through the previous two buyers, late in the closing. The bank representatives did not want to deal with another individual and buyer, expecting them flake out halfway through the process. We were serious about buying this place, and Arlo knew it. Which after proactively discussing,and building a rapport with them, did happen. Stay away from this Realtor. They don't represent the seller. We used them, they lowered the price on our property on the same day as we were receiving a full price cash offer at the previously listed price. They low balled the counter offer. The buyer backed out due to his disability 5 days before closing and after we incurred moving costs. This Realtor said that we were not entitled to any of the buyer's deposit not even the costs that were incurred for the sale. I dont think they ever saw us as people only a transaction that they wanted to get out of the way as quick as possible no matter what the cost to the seller. I don't recommend them but if you do use them stay very involved and don't allow them to lie and push you around. Get another professional opinion from someone you can trust. The experience with this realtor was costly.
