I have been to this place few time and this on 11/10/2023 was quite a different experience. They have removed the physical menus and have switched to the digital table menu system which you can order from your phone. I personally did not like the idea of this for few reasons: It absolutely eliminates the interaction with the staff and is quite frustrating to order through the app. When staff is serving you, you get to ask them the verities of questions; like, how does this taste? What do you recommend for this, what quantity does this come in and a lot more questions which makes your dining more enjoyable. The whole reason going to a restaurant is the experience of that place. A place where people welcomes you and explains you throughly and so on. If i was to order through some phone, I could’ve just done some UberEats n all. The owners are not really thinking straight here, as much as we are in the modern era world, we still should keep the old fashion ways of dealing alive. I am certainly not a fan of order through app while you are in the restaurant. The food was good but the experience was not very pleasant. Unfortunately we will not be coming to this place anymore. Thought we could plan some parties here but not anymore. Bring back the old fashioned way of menus and we may rethink our future visits. Losing one customer may not be an issue for them, but word of mouth spreads quite fast. Something to think about.

Today we decided to visit Bombay Chopati. Happens that this is the only Indian restaurant in Mernda and have recently opened its doors. As the name suggests, I was very eager to try them and see if they were anywhere to Iconic Mumbai Girgaum beach lovingly called Bombay Chopatty. We walked in and ordered just one dish to determine the taste factor. We ordered Chilly Chicken dry. Here’s my take on Bombay Chopati, Mernda. As soon as we walked in we were given a warm welcome greeting. This lovely lady in glasses then handed us their menu and with smile told us excuse me and went on to serve the dine-in customers. We were impressed with her manners and professionalism. Rarely you will find top service from the serving staff and this incident made a lasting impression. I was promptly served and we then went home to taste our Indo- Chinese dish. First bite and I was just taken away. This dish lived upto its expectation! Ordered takeaway food and was told it would be ready in 30-35 minutes. Drove to restaurant, waited patiently. It was already and hour since we ordered until we got our food. Reached home and figured out there is no pani puri water in the bag, Are you serious? On one hand we waited long time, secondly instead of apologising staff said we had to come and pick it when we called them. We had guests at house and things got delayed because of such unprofessional people. We live 2 streets away and were told in rude manner to come pick pani puri water. Fish tika had so much cream and no salt on it and most of pieces were burnt as seen in picture. Had to throw 2 fish tikka serves in bin. Chicken tikka was alright though. Big miscommunication among staff as everyone has different statements. Will never come back as the staff doesn’t really care about customer service.

Go to get good food and bad treatment from the staff. This place has very good facilities and food. However, do not expect any service. I visited with my family on 12/06/2023. I ordered soup for 4 people, one entre and mains. I asked to be served soup first, entre next and then mains. Ideally, we do not need to even provide these instructions. Food served on the table was in this sequence: entre, mains and soup. When mains were served before soup, we requested the food to be taken back and soup served before. The staff did not even acknowledge the request and left the mains on the table while we had our soup. By the time we consumed our mains, they were cold and had lost its charm. When I tried to talk to staff members about the service, they blames kitchen..... This kind of service is really appalling.....

I've been there three times, and while the food is decent, it's unfortunate that they've never gotten our order right. On all three occasions, they missed at least two items. This will definitely be our last visit. We went as a group of 6 and after waiting for over 50 minutes for our food to arrive, and even then, we had missing dishes. When we inquired about the remaining dishes, the lady taking our order claimed they were almost ready. However, after waiting for another 20 minutes, we had to ask again, and it turns out they had forgotten to prepare them. We ended up canceling the order. It's honestly quite disappointing, especially considering this is the third time we've had this experience. The service is consistently subpar, and the noise level is excessive. I'd recommend saving your time and money by dining elsewhere.

They have a huge variety of Indian vegetarian dishes. Chaat which is Indian Street Food which is mostly vegetarian. Starters they have Chaap which is Meat alternative similar to vegan mock Meat. Paneer which is Indian cottage cheese. Mains they have Indo Chinese a Indian slant to Chinese food much more flavours and delicious. Try the Gobi Manchurian ( Cauliflower spiced cooked with sauces). The Indian breads are amazing as well.

I really wanted to love this restaurant... Please do not serve your customers medium-spice when they repeatedly ask for mild-spice. I asked your staff twice—On the phone before we arrived, and again before we ordered our meals—whether or not you serve your curries mild. I was assured both times that you indeed do serve your curries mild. Yet, when we got our meals, they were medium-spice, exactly the same as they were the first time we dined here. Lying to your customers is not a great way to do business.

Wow! Just came back after a random dinner plan at this restaurant. The ambience - 10/10 interiors are so good and picture perfect. Food- We tried Pani Puri, malai chaap, Noodles, veg jalfareji, Kofta and garlic naan. All the items were amazing and spices are medium hot. Pani- Puri tops the list. Chaap was served on a sizzlers which was a different experience. The quantity was ok- one serving should serve 2. I would love to try it again.

We have tried numerous places in Northern suburbs but this is by far the best Indian Restuarant we have ever been to. The managers Sukhpreet, Aman, and the staff, Gagan Ramneeq and all others are really courteous and friendly. The restaurant itself is very clean with great ambience and the food is top notch. I can't praise the place enough and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try beautiful Indian food and excellent service.

Thought I would try a different Indian restaurant for a change,,,,,, big mistake on my part. The only good experience with this order was the delivery by Uber. The prices are more expensive than most but I thought the quality must be good. I ordered chicken biryani and a lamb curry with onion bahji and bread. The chicken had so many bones and gristle, and the lamb was so salty it just wasn’t edible, even the onion Bhaji wasn’t cooked. Definitely won’t be returning here for food. Was probably the worst Indian food I have ever tasted. ( and spat out).

Wow wow very impressive, very inviting modern look but authentic Indian cuisine, goat curry was the best myself and my partner have ever had in Melbourne and have not been able to find the peanut masala in any Indian restaurant around like this so I ordered one for take away as well for beers at home. Place is look nice but test of food and service is not good. We ordered soups 1 in 2 they pass bowl to do byself. And bring starters also bring same time when main food brings they not clean table with soups bowls and starters plates.we told then 2 time please we finish take back those plates. Pros: Long awaited, brand new and shiny first Indian restaurant in Mernda. The service was very friendly. I ordered a Chicken Biryani and it was one of the tastiest I've had from any Indian place. Loved the food and ambience of restaurant. Tried paneer lavabdar and daalmakhni with garlic naan. I would say one of the best I have tried here in Melbourne. Highly recommend to those who have food crave.

Food taste is good. However, pani puri was served in chat platter mixed in yoghurt. It was soggy till the end and not crunchy.

I’ve tried basically all Indian restaurants in the area and a bit further, and this is undoubtedly the best. It is a pity it was not yet opened during the lockdowns.

Quite impress with the service and ambiance of restaurants. Food is outstanding. Especially mashroom masala. That taste stuck in my tounge.

First of all I ordered Hakka noodles ans I received my takeaway order after 25 minutes when they said it will be ready in 10 minutes.

Ordered kadai paneer which came with excessive oil. It was very hard to eat. Chef needs to updated on this.
