Wish I read the reviews for Birthday Packages prior to booking. I contacted Bond management via email and after several emails, we had decided to opt for Birthday Guest List which includes free entry prior to 10pm and post 10pm it'll be $20. This option suited us perfectly as we had made it clear with Bond management team that we've got about 25-30 people and will be looking to spend some money that night. We had it in writing from the management team that all necessary arrangements had been done and they were looking forward to us. Upon arriving to the venue, this is where all things went downhill. Upon arrival, the bouncers outside said quite rudely "tables only, guest list is not a guaranteed entry, you won't get in". It was extremely disappointing provided we had discussed at length with the Bond Management about our event and the bouncers simply refused entry regardless of our conversation with Management. In addition, the bouncers even had the audacity to say "you can stand wherever you want, you and your group won't get in" which was a bit more of a double standard as some of our friends had already managed to get inside Bond, without any table booking, without any guest list and they were not a person of colour. This surely isn't a coincidence when you compare this event and review to some of the other reviews listed below. Safe to say, not only did they lose our business that night (at least $3-4k) but they've also lost the ability to market themselves as a premier place for "everyone". This is not a fake review, happy to provide written email communication from Bond Management and other testimonies from people. To all people thinking of attending this place for a special event, please consider this and all previous emails as a warning as the last thing you want is for the Bond Melbourne to ruin your night like they did mine and other 30 people that night.

I visited this venue as a guest for my cousins hen do 2 YEARS AGO and I still feel disgusted about our experience there. We had a booth booked and my cousin and I (my cousin also being the BRIDE) were taken out of the bathroom by male security who were waiting for us to come out of the cubicle and they were accusing us of vomiting and said they were ejecting us from the venue.. I was still sober at this time and tried to calmly explain that they had the wrong patrons.. We were then taken through their back exit up a staircase and out into an underground car park- there are no other patrons around and our belongings were left inside as the guards forced us to leave without telling our group and getting our belongings. As a woman I felt scared for my safety and feel that this behaviour is completely unacceptable and DISGUSTING and I think my leaving this review 2 years later speaks volumes about how unsafe I felt.. I will never return to this venue and urge other woman to be cautious of this.

Went to Bond for a hens party for the first time on Saturday night. Whilst standing and chatting to a friend 2 security guards came up to me and escorted me outside of the club for allegedly punching someone in the stomach. I was absolutely shocked at this accusation (mostly because I’m the last person to ever be involved in a fight!) and upset as they had kicked me out with no proof?! Management made me stand in the rain, crying for 15 minutes+ while they went and watched the security cameras (which showed me not punching anyone!!) before letting me back in. No apologies from management or security. Safe to say my night was completely ruined and I will never be returning to Bond (or recommend anyone to Bond) ever again

It was my first time visiting this place. My friend recommended this venue to checking out. The security guard was cool and we didn’t have a trouble to get in. However, I was disappointed with the host as we need to pay the entrance fee $30/pp and there is an ATM machine next to it. I asked her if there is a trash bin because someone left the receipt on the ATM. She said “No”. Please, train the staff to do proper customer service and put the small bin next to the ATM machine. We are guest! The interior was amazing but it confusing when we want to order the drink because the bartender told us to order from another one. As a hospitality person myself. I wish they can train their staff more friendly to the guest!

What can I say. We paid 2k for a table that came with drinks. About halfway through the night our table host was giving our drinks to people who were not part of our group. Had a really bad vibe about her. Typical Melbourne girl resting btch face. The music was like so outdated. In general Melbourne clubs are bad and overpriced, but this went above and beyond. Such a disappointment Also notice how the owner has not apologised to one person in the comments. Clearly doesn't care. People need to stop supporting these kind of businesses. It's actually embarrassing when compared to clubs in Bali, USA, UK etc.

Unprofessional service, we had a birthday party , all booked a month earlier , first of all they didn’t let in 2 of our friends , I asked the reason but they don’t listen to you, after few hours a girl in our group touches one of our vodka bottles and a waitress from nowhere grabs the bottle and never gives us back , we asked to give the bottle back and she calls the security , security aims one of our friend and kicked him out , we follow the security to try to understand what’s happening and when we go back to the table they cleaned up everything already , that big bottle was sealed by the way so they will sell it again.

I'm not usually one to leave bad reviews, but last night I came here after work (also hospo) to attend a friend's birthday who had paid for a booth. Security told me they weren't letting any more guys in regardless of paid bookings. My friends booth was also given away to another group, and they were shoved to a small table on the side. When someone has paid for a booth you are expected to at least provide the booth, and entrance for their guests. It's this type of security that give most security a unjust bad name.

Bond is an amazing venue! I loved the classy atmosphere and I definitely would recommend any bride getting married to do their hens there! Brianna, the events manager, helped me organise my function and her communication was amazing and second-to-none. She was responsive, thorough and knowledgeable. The staff working there on the night were so fun and polite, with amazing service ! Such great music and what a vibe. I will be going back for other opportunities for SURE! Definitely recommend for any event!

Had a great experience here. Organised a booth for a friends birthday and the value for what we got was great. The service, the crowd, atmosphere, music, staff were all great. Michelle who we booked through had everything set up perfectly before we even got there. The waitress at our booth was friendly, helpful and provided great energy to our group at our booth. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Had a fantastic time at Bond bar for my impromptu birthday drinks. From start to finish the service was exceptional. The office staff to the weight staff at the venue took care of us really well. Only comment that I had was that I wish that it went on for longer as the club closed at 2:30am and we were still ready to kick on. Will definitely be booking another booth in the future.

Such a waste of money to book a table here They charge way too high, people walk over you and your table, you can’t see anything, you literally pay for a seat and a bottle of vodka which costs an arm and a leg Security is not trained to deal with customers, they’re very unprofessional and lack of customer service Overall you can get a lot better in some other venues

BOND BAR the absolute best place to have/host your hens party or any party for that matter. Brianna and Michelle were absolutely amazing to deal with making the process so smooth and effortless. The bartenders and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Such a fabulous venue with such a great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back here with the girls again.

Had an amazing Christmas party with our whole team at Bond! The venue was fantastic, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating the holiday season. Disgusting customer service! Emailed them To book a booth 2 weeks out, there were boots available but each time I replied, it took days before I heard any response. I had to ring to chase them and even then nobody answered the phone. I was told 3 days out from my event the booths had since sold out due to their own poor customer service. I took the company function to another club and spent a few thousand dollars there instead.

Hands down the worst experience I’ve had at any nightclub. Extremely rude and impolite security, refused entry to 2 of my friends just because they were “dressed too casual” when they were wearing button up t-shirts and bomber jackets. Extremely racist behaviour, as they had allowed entry to other people who were dressed similar to them. Venue is small, toilets are stinky, music is bad. Would never reccomend/come back.

I wanted to try this place couple of weeks ago and when I got there the reception lady said to get in that’s only cash payment accepted! It’s a bit weird to have this kind of service when the venue it’s luxurious looking… it was not a professional approach, it must have card payment as well… not many people carry cash and say only cash accepted. It’s very strange to me.

No wonder it’s 3.1 stars. This place is a dive ! Decided to try it out 3 guys 3 girls all couples. Waited at the front for we don’t know what? So some security or trashy door girl to think their cool. Got inside and what a joke .. all 18-20 year olds half drunk falling over and spending $10 on the bar. We quickly left and took our 6k elsewhere. Much better places to spend your night than this place.

Visiting Saturday, June 3, 2023 having booked a $550 table. Worst nightclub experience ever. The service was deplorable. The waitress didn't even serve us. We had to serve ourselves. The club was empty for a Saturday night and the music left a lot to be desired. Old songs. Nobody cared about us. I strongly advise against going.

Organised my brother's birthday party for a group, we got a table and it was one of the best nights - first time in a while I actually left a bar/club thinking the venue and staff were amazing and contributed to us having an awesome night. this is probably our favorite spot in Melbourne. the staf are fantastic and extremely nice the music is always good and it's always got something going on. if you plan on going on a Friday night I definitely recommend getting a table to avoid the line and packed dance floor. overall I'd definitely recommend to anyone coming to the city

Worst club ever!!! Security will take you out for no reason what so ever and will tell you I need to talk to you outside and will tell you that you are not allowed in. Why? No answer!!!! You know what I am not gonna get this one pass on you! Don’t recommend it at all see a nicer please to spend your money and enjoy your time.

I booked a booth at Bond last weekend for my bestfriend’s hens party. The VIP manager Katelyn was so helpful and made the experience stress free so I could enjoy my night. the service was exceptional and the cocktails tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I booked a booth through the events manager last weekend. The staff were so accomodating in organising everything we needed. It was my hens and throughout the night, the staff continuously checked in to see if we needed anything! I had such a great time - loved the vibe of this venue. Great music and classy vibe.

A huge thank you to Bryanna and the team for accommodating our work event. It was on super late notice but Bryanna made the whole process so seamless and easy to accomodate during a busy period. Food and drinks were also great. Would certainly work with Bond again for future corporate events.

A great classy bar to celebrate an occasion or just for fun night out with friends. Booking in one of the booths prior is a good idea to ensure you have a spot to lounge and have drinks looked after for you.

I was tired and slept on the smoking area there. When the club was about to close, one of the securities grabbed me by the throat and choked me for 10 seconds. I could not breathe. I and my friends told the security to stop, but he didn't.
