Park, beach and bushwalks in one. You can see the climbing frames long before you get to this park! My 10 year old loved it and so did my 4 year old. I have to say, the ladder access to one slide was a bit concerning as it was so high. A lot of parents must have felt the same as they were climbing the ladder behind their younger kids. And if your kids don't like climbing or heights they may find it frustrating as they won't be able to access the slides. The park also had * 2 decent flying foxes * 4 swings, all facing in to each other * Cubby house for younger kids * Musical pipes the kids can bang * heaps of open space to kick a ball around * Large toilet block The best part was the mini skate park. My son and daughter both enjoyed riding their bikes through it. Be prepared and come with your own shade and picnic blanket as there are only a few covered tables and they fill up fast. You can find trees to sit under but they aren't very close to the playground itself. Across the road you'll find the beach with no waves and lots of sand and shells for the kids. You can walk along the path adjacent to the beach and take it all the way into the National Park. Along the way you'll come across information about the first fleet arrival at Botany Bay. If you're still up for exploring there is a short easy walk called the Yarra Trail, close to the national Park entrance. All in all, it was a wonderful day, broken up with lots of different activities.
Went to the new kids playground with our 2yr old to try it out. Was a bit hectic but very new and modern. In general better for kids over 3 years or so. The kids swings don't have backs on them and instead have more of a bar at the front they need to hold on to. So not the best for young toddlers. They do have one little playhouses type thing but it's only about 2mx2m with two small slides on it. The spider ropes and flying foxes, plus a giant slide are all for older kids. For the little ones the park at nth cronulla is alot better.
Pleasant evening watching the ships and planes.
Playground
Recently updated with modern equipment.
Restrooms
Council could do a better job of maintaining them ,1 tap has been constantly dripping for over 12 months, same cubical door near lock has been broken since befor last Christmas. Clean is never done correctly with the bulk toilet roll holder often only refilled with 1 roll in none bust periods .
Dog-friendliness
Off lead beach.
Picnic area
Could do with some more tables.
Beautiful place to come and relax. Great place to see planes ever so close by. Plenty of mosquitoes out for a bite . Quiet area when planes aren't flying over. Plenty of parking and seating areas. Excellent views of the city Skyrise when the sky is clear. Great view of Port Botany. Bring your binoculars.
Nice reserve now that it has been done up. There is a lot of parking but it does fill up quickly on hot days. We found there to be a lot of wind surfers there that weren't very considerate or mindful of little children in the water even though we picked a place the was far away from where they were going in.
Amazing playground! The main climbing frame is probably best suited to kids aged 5+ but there are also some things for younger kids to play on e.g. swings, slides etc. along with lots of green space and a double flying fox. There’s even a mini skate park area there which is cool!
Fantastic park, it has recently been renovated and a new fantastic playground has been installed, I would highly recommend it for families. The beach is also great, being dog friendly is also a bonus. Restrooms are also available, and there is plenty of parking.
Dog run swim big AREA but luck of draw what type of dogs r there to run u dwn trip u over & annoy yr dog worst thing is ZERO SHADE BRING TENT was windy 3 wks ago midday be wary of any sharks which dogs attract one nice cafe way down rd nr nice rock pool
Great playground! My 3yr old loved it, there were so older primary school kids enjoying the flying flox amd slides. There nice toilets with soap & basin for washing hands and dogs r aloud as well. This is a great addition to the beach …
Super good place to run out little one’s energy. In good preparing is a nice place for family picnic, group games, playground, beach, and short to long walk along the national park. And toilets, water, and BBQ nearby. Love it . …
Fantastic park - most modern playground I've come across! Well suited to bigger kids 6+ but also has plenty for little ones Bonus woth beach across the road however it is a dog beach with LOTS of dogs.
It is a nice little play space by the beach. Has good water and toilet facilities. However it gets so busy that I felt we need more sheds around the reserve. Little walk towards the beach is also nice.
Couldn't park - there were 20+ empty spaces but they were only for those towing a trailer (???). Also it was boiling and there was very little shade/tree cover. A forgettable place.
Lots to do and see here

Good facilities
As far as playgrounds go it's quite compact, although the surrounding grassed areas are wonderful. Would benefit from shadecloths. I would not come here on a hot day.
Really nice spot has been upgraded with a great carpark , toilets and a really good new boat ramp that gets you into botany bay.
Nice park in a good location. Well set out by the local council. Public toilets available, both accesdible & ambulant, as well.
Amazing place to bring kids to play in this playground. Near the beach and a lot of option to play around here.
Great , but don't expect a quiet tranquil spot to enjoy, the low flying aircraft make quite a racket.
Same area for when we take our fur-baby out for a run, we’ve got a playground for the kids too.
Good views across Botany Bay to Port Botany, the Sydney skyline and Kingsford-Smith Airport.
Beautiful little park nice and clean, has nice toilets rubbish bins. Very cool little park.
Great beach with enough parking around. It is very good for walking and family time.
Great place for kids to have fun.but limited parking space.get there early.

A close by especially from the city. But you gotta drive or bike.
Excellent location. Right opposite the Sydney Airport Runways
