Really enjoyed eating here but the last 2 times have been very disappointing. First instance the waitress put our drinks in to go cups and never came by to refill any of them we had to get up and ask another waitress to help us. Second time which was tonight my brother drank his tea long before our order came he set his cup where she could see it at the end of the table he went out smoked a cigarette sat back down about 3-4 minutes the she brought our food never seen the empty cup that was right in front of her. she went by our table several times even bussing the table in front of us never came and checked on us. Normally we come as a party of 3 but have brought guests with us. I rate my tip on your service and the service was very lack. I was surprised and a little upset my brother still gave her almost a 10 dollar tip. She could have made a lot more easily if she just gave us decent service will be a while before we return food isn't bad tho no fried pickles disappointed i really liked those could have made up for the bad service. Good luck in finding better people.

By far the worst place i've ever been too the owner Was extremely rude about me having a service Dog with me asking a question about the Beef brisket we walked inside and was asking the cook about the Beef brisket and then we ordered are food and was waiting for the drinks and then the owner or whoever he was seen bear and stated to yell at us telling us to get out of the store I told him that he was a service dog and he said he did not care and I couldn't have him in there with me so told us to leave so bear and I walked outside and he Followed Then when we got outside he asked what kind of service dog is he and what does he do I told him he was for PTSD he then told me that we could not go back inside and that was fine we was getting the food to go.. but I will never go there to get food again or pick up food from.

Ordered brisket and received tiny DRY pieces of meat with no smoke flavor?? Maybe I’m jaded because I just moved here from Texas, but whatever I received was not brisket and you should be ashamed to call it that. Ain’t no Terry Black’s, that’s for sure! Sausage was good, greens were good and slaw was good, but darn it if you can’t do BRISKET you can’t do BBQ! Might as well just serve burgers and hot dogs cause this ain’t BBQ, baby.

Had a decent experience picking up a large order until I found a hair in my food. Truly not a big deal, it happens! The issue comes thereafter. I sent someone else shortly following to resolve of whom heard staff and management talk poorly about me and my integrity. The hair was made into the salad and I could not even pull it out. You can see me pulling it but it is so long you can't even see my hand, and it is still remaining in the salad wrapped around the pepper in the picture. First and last experience

This first time visiting this location ordered from the take out widow, children dry but smoke, rib sandwich ends of ribs hard and dry, banana pudding just pudding one cookie on top no bananas inside Just the vanilla pudding, even the garlic bread not toasted no garlic butter .. to much money to receive nothing as expected from such a Legacy of smoke barbecue greatness very disappointed and someone needs to come in and revent the way that they cook food and serve it prepared and serve. It to customers very sad.

Tasty and delicious! Succulent meats and good BBQ side dishes from corn to beans and cole slaw. The ribs are mouthwatering and won today's contest! Chicken and pulled pork are also solid choices. Variety of barbecue sauces (I recommend trying different mixtures, personal fave is the hot as a base with a good amount of sweet/tangy and a pinch of hickory). Save room for dessert - the banana pudding and cobbler are both tried and true.

They obviously pre make there salads and don’t check the lettuce quality before giving it to you. I ordered a turkey salad today, Tuesday October 11th and on the salad box with rotten lettuce it has a sticker that says “Sunday”. After tip I spent $20 on a salad and sweet tea and the salad I cannot even eat. When I called back yo let them know they placed me on hold and never came back to the phone. Photos attached.

The customer service is lacking. The wait time for holding to place a to go order is exceedingly long. Additionally, the prices on their online menu is outdated. Called for a 6-piece chicken wing basket and an added side. The total was $18.23. Online the menu states $9.99. I completely understand inflation; however, please take the time to update your marketing.

Very unprofessional and disrespectful owner demanding a certified trained Service dog be removed from the establishment while getting a to go order. Size, color, breed doesn't matter fyi. Best ribs in town. I should qualify that when I say the best ribs in town, I mean at the Duval Station Road location. Just about any other Bono's is garbage when it comes to ribs. And Stephanie is the BEST!!

The young lady waiting on everyone was amazing. We ordered the family feast with chicken and brisket. Everyone loved a little char, but this was burnt and dried out, as well as the chicken. We did, however, enjoy our sides.

I don't have any complaints with this particular location , I will add all of my orders have been take out I've never dined in only because that's my preference, yet they are basically busy on certain days I feel they handle the situation with well, the area is nice as well!

I forgot to take a before picture. Lol!!! I got the Turkey Sandwich though. I wasn't a fan of the meat. It was really tender and not the typical meat consistency I'd expect. Everything else was really good and the sauces as well. The service was nice and our waitress was really friendly and kept checking in on us. :)

When I first moved here, I used to eat here quite often. I do not eat here as much anymore because I started noticing the meat having more fat than normal, and after removing the fat, there wasn't much meat. I have had most of the sides, and they are disappointing, but you can't go wrong, just getting fries.

The food was very good, the waitress was very helpful and friendly , she did an excellent job serving our party of 8. Price was reasonable. Would definitely go back.

This was a real disappointment this time around. If you come to Bonos make sure you see neat on the pit, if you don't leave. The turkey had no flavor and all the other meats were cold. Asked for outside cut on the turkey all inside cut.

Great food, great service! The smell of BBQ (a smoker) as soon as you walk in! Coming from Baltimore we wanted to visit Grandma and grab a quick bite to eat. The 5 of us got our food pretty quickly. The waitress was great as well.

The service was outstanding. The pulled pork was very good, but the corn nuggets were hard as a rock. They need to do something about the coleslaw dressing, it is so bland.

Amazing service! Corn nuggets amazing! I got the smoked wings and collard greens, and it was amazing! My husband’s food was “super delicious!”. Portions are a good size for the price. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Food was awesome. Chicken was very tender, the Ribs were out of this world and Had a sample of the beef which was awesome. If you are near the Jacksonville Airport come to the Bono’s on Duval Station Rd. Service is great….

We just moved here and always smell the bbq going into Publix. We finally ordered the Sunday feast. It was lots of food for a decent price. It did not disappoint. The service and food was outstanding.

I love Bono’s! Best turkey sammich around. Service at this location could be a bit faster and more friendly. My food is always correct and hot when it comes to the table.
