Absolutely blessed to live within walking distance from this place. I would consider myself a bit of a pork roll veteran. Including many consumed in the banh mi heartland of Cabramatta. This place can hold its own with the best of them. The traditional pork, bbq pork and crackling pork are all fantastic in their own right. And the crunch on the exterior combined with the fresh fluffy interior of the bread rolls is just excellent. Served promptly with a smile, what more can one ask for. PLUS they have an excellent range of baked treats. All the usual “hot bread” shop suspects, but executed with a surprising amount of polish. Just a super strong establishment all round. A great local place to spend your money.

Never tried any of the goods from the bakery, but I have been surprised by their range of Vietnamese food. I’ve tried their chicken and beef pho (not in pics), their wonton soup, rice paper rolls, and a few rolls (crackling pork and tofu). Their pho and wonton soups are okay, not the best I’ve had but still enjoyable (they seem to use the same broth for both the beef and chicken pho, which surprised me). Their rice paper rolls are also quite good. But the main thing I would recommend is their rolls: they are really tasty, and packed with veggies and meat!

Bought a pork roll before, and asked for extra Paté, but they only gave you a little bit of their “standard” quantity and the pork roll is so small. Go try the Marrickville Pork Roll, that one is so much better than this one, once try the Marrickville one, you don’t wanna come back here. I’ve tried many pork rolls in Sydney, but this place’s pork roll is uneventful, and lacks of ingredients!!! Also bought pies and a doughnut, they wrap them separately, not in the same bag, and no one tells you that, just be mindful, the terrible service I’ve ever seen.

Good local banh mi store with a range of toppings to choose from. I’ve heard good things about them so decided to pay a visit on Monday afternoon. I wanted the crackling pork but it sold out so got the lemongrass pork instead. The bread roll was packed with veggies and pickles, abundant of pork as well. However the pork itself was a bit dry and salty. I wish they could have sliced the meat thinner which makes it easier to bite down. $10.50 for a bread roll in Annandale - pricey but not bad at all. Cash and card are both accepted.

Stumbled across this place when I was looking for somewhere different to get lunch. I wasn't expecting a Bakery to have the most delicious BBQ chicken I've ever tasted. Try the BBQ Chicken Bowl or Lemongrass Chicken Salad Bowl or the Lemongrass Pork Noodle Bowl, they're all delicious and very generous portions for the price. Even the humble BBQ Chicken roll is far better than any chicken roll I've ever tasted. There's something in the flavour of the BBQ chicken that makes it almost addictive lol.

Apart from having excellent Vietnamese pork rolls, bread, pies, buns and pastries Booth Street Bakery also provides outstanding customer service. A while ago, due to a service connection issue, I mistakenly and unknowingly paid $88.50 for an $8.50 purchase. When I next walked into the store days later the lady proprietor rushed over with $80 cash to reimburse me. She had to show me the invoice but when I checked my account on my phone it proved she was right. Fantastic. Thanks.

I go to this bakery at least once a week, the rolls are usually great but the service is shockingly bad. Today when i purchased my crackling pork roll, the pork was dry (i had to throw away) and there was a very small amount of crackling. The crackling that was in the roll was soft, which is disappointing especially when the rolls are $10.50 which is expensive compared to other Vietnamese bakery's around the area. It will be the last time i go to this bakery for lunch.

So glad to see this place go from strength to strength! I love a Bahn-Mi and whilst I'm a stickler for the traditional pork, the crackling pork or lemon grass chicken are both local pleasers! There's also a good selection of Vietnamese favourites and we often pick-up bread rolls for dinner ...and, if you don't believe me, ask the queue down the street at the lunchtime rush (please note, that due to the hill, the queue technically would be going UP the street)!

  • Darvida Van der made

Terrible service rude staff and the meals are lacking in ingredients. I ordered a lemongrass chicken salad and it came with 5 pieces of carrot and 3 lettuce leaves, one was entirely black at the top due to age lots of red onion though, I prefer to have less. Service is terrible the staff actually try not to talk to the customers, lack of order and procedures makes me worry what the kitchen is like. Save yourself some time and don’t go there.

Good local banh mi, I actually think the traditional pork was much nicer than the roast pork with crackling which unfortunately was a bit dry. There can be quite the queue here at lunch time. I am a diehard Marrickville Pork Roll fan, and unfortunately these guys just can't hold a candle, however they are the best banh mi I've had in the Flodge/Annandale area.

  • Thao Hien Nguyen

The portion sizes are generous, and the flavors of the savory meats and fresh vegetables are unparalleled. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I can confidently say that this is the best Banh Mi in Sydney!! The picture was taken in a shopping mall nearby (not in the bakery)

  • Princess Greedyguts

One of the best bahn mi. I loved the traditional pork & the lemongrass chicken is so so good. A variety of cakes in individual sizes or larger are available from Cavallero. Also nice crusty Vietnamese bread rolls, baguettes & sourdough are available. A big range of juices are available & its always busy.

Vietnamese Roll / Banh Mi -- amazing amazing amazing! Huge crunchy fresh roll, generously packed condiments/ingredients...rich tasteful creation. SoGOOD! Great value..very popular ...can be a busy place but good service. A must experience if you like banh mi. Two thumbs up.

  • Greg Edwards

Great banh mi rolls with various fillings. Great pies, pasties. Beautiful fresh breads, rolls, baguettes. Large cakes to order, just got one for my Dad's 95th birthday, excellent. This place largely fills the gap left by La Banette in Glebe which inexplicably closed.

  • Marta Partycja

I have been there many times and really liked their pastry. So I I decided to order a cake for a birthday. My husband went to collect it and came back home with a frozen orange cake in the box, with ice on it. Very disappointed and sure that the cake wasn’t fresh.

  • Jake Semaan

Booth street bakery is one of the best. Trish always puts a smile on my face when I walk in making me the best pork cracking roll ever. She works so hard and carry's the team! She does everything and does it to a high standard! Well done! Highly recommend

  • Edgars Pudans

The Food is Great! The trouble however is to get your order right, if you're ordering more than 2 rolls (for the office). What I found working is to come in with a printed list. Other than that the rolls are great especially the Lemongrass

Awful food and service. Overpriced long black tasted like weakly coffee-flavoured hot water; served a large more expensive one, not that I was asked cup size. $9 rice paper roll soggy and fell apart, prawns were off and stank. Never again.

  • Tony Nguyen

Crackling Pork or Lemongrass Banh Mi ohhhh the best in Sydney hands down. Top it up with a fruit juice. Good decent size roll too, 1 is enuf to get me full when compare to others I have to order 2 (Mascot, Marrickville etc etc. ) …

  • Anthony Goddard

The Banh Mi menu. All versions are very tasty and loaded to the gills with the ingredients you want. They maybe priced a little higher than you may expect, but it's worth it and I tend not to need any more food for a long time after.

  • Anthony McClenaghan

This place gets better & better every time I visit, the banh mi are sensational, freshly baked crispy rolls, fresh ingredients, my go to is the lemongrass chicken or the roast crackling pork! The pies & sausage rolls are yummy too.

  • Minglu Chen

I like the food they serve, but I never feel welcome in this shop. I have never been greeted, or received a smile. Every time I come to buy something, I feel Im forcing the staff to do things they have zero interest in.

  • Luke Harvey

Love this place. Smells incredible when you walk in. The rolls are fantastic, my favourite is the lemongrass pork. Got their pho yesterday as well, delicious flavourful broth. Haven't tried their pies yet but keen to!

  • Issac Martin

Cracker. Arguably entered my top three pork rolls list for Sydney venues. Very busy and getting served was a little confusing but there's method to their madness in controlling the flow. Great balanced roll

  • Jessie Chien

Great portion and taste of Banh Mi! We all loved it! They have a great system in placed for serving their customers, avoding confusion or over crowed shop space. Friendly staff members. Highly recommended!

  • Kim Nguyen

Annandales best kept secret! Highly recommended for Banh Mi and authentic Vietnamese dishes! Great quality indegredients. As good as my Grandma's.....ask for Co Chinh! She cooks the food …

  • Martin Doms

I bought a loaf of bread, flat white and some Vietnamese pork and chicken rolls and everything was SO GOOD and the prices are great. I highly recommend this place.

  • Toby Kepes

The best Bahn Mi in Sydney!! Great selection of pies and other vietnamese food also. Thank you Trish and the team for always providing fast and friendly service.

  • Adz Gg

Very nice food and most of the staff are friendly. I find one woman there incredibly rude and an encounter with her ends up putting me off visiting for a while.

  • Antony Hu

Very friendly staff, and big pork rolls with very fresh ingredients. The photo is of a lemon grass chicken roll. The pho they have on the menu is fantastic

  • Edward SR

It’s a good bakery with quality ingredients, however the price is a bit high and the service is slow, that’s half the reason they have a line out the door.

  • Steven Sheridan

Hand down the best banh mi in all of sydney. Highly recommend the lemongrass chicken. Also wide range of pastries, juices etc if you wanted anything else.

  • Elle Curran

Really disappointed in the customer service here and actually left without placing an order because the staff were so rude. Will not be ordering again.

  • Andre Ducasse

If you're hungry and after a great Banh Mi, this is definitely a must try. Slightly on the expensive side at $10 although well worth the money.

  • Mrs Goold

$8.50 for a massive, delicious lemon grass pork banh mi. Cakes and pastries not to my taste, brightly coloured, sugary, chunky pastry.

  • Pearl

I’ve eaten a lot of Banh Mi but this tops it. They pack it with meat and veg so every bite is perfect. My new favourite place!

  • Sandy Tran

A lot of products for a little shop, good quality for the price, staff work hard. Can't be all made in house, good nonetheless

  • Matthew Sheehan

Beach bungalows are amazing. Food is truly appalling and so expensive. Suggest you eat elsewhere but the rooms are fabulous.
