"Overzealous, stereotyping staff"
"Decent enough but quite small however the security guard needs to get his act together stereotyping customers I walked down the back of the store with my aunt to get some sleeping pills and the security guard comes up right behind me and provides some evil and questionable look"
"Manager needs to go back and be trained in verbal communication"
"The reason I go to Boots and pay that bit more is to avoid Superdrug, so I don't have some overzealous shop assistant trying to upsell and foist products on me which I neither need nor want when I try paying for an item"
"Given incorrect medications asked for out of control migraine"
Overzealous, stereotyping staff. I don't say this lightly when I say that everytime, visiting the shop for collecting my prescriptions, the resident security guard on any given day and certain members of staff, overly scrutinise myself upon entering to the point of calling there actions as racist. Even when it is relatively busy with people they follow and frequently look at myself, which is when I notice and realise, that i am the only black person in the shop at that time, it leaves me feeling both unnerved and uncomfortable. The most recent incident was when using one of their self-service tills alongside other customers ...again only black person in the shop, a staff member opened up the main the till to serve the growing queue , I completed my purchase and yet upon exiting, in the corner of my eye i could still see them staring at me even though they were in the midst of serving a customer, as if expecting or anticipating the security alarms to go off. If you are not a white person then please avoid. Shame the Superdrug at the station doesn't have a pharmacy built in the staff there are nicer and feel more welcoming.
Decent enough but quite small however the security guard needs to get his act together stereotyping customers I walked down the back of the store with my aunt to get some sleeping pills and the security guard comes up right behind me and provides some evil and questionable look. I'm quite a tall and large guy so clearly the small bloke was bored or potentially intimidated (who would steal from boots?!) So he thought let's try and pick a fight with the big guy to see how tough he is. I got my pills and made sure to give the bloke a rude look back, it's clear he thought I was going to steal something because of the way I look and when I went to pay he was no longer interested and went to bother someone else the fool. Don't go here if you want to be visually bullied by a bored security guard. Wait till you get to your destination then go to another boots
Manager needs to go back and be trained in verbal communication. I was attacked in the store today by two females, who have crawled out of the sewers and I hope they have returned home to them. They totally disrespected the security guard, knocking items on the floor and kicking them towards him. I was trying to buy the bee wax for my allergies, when this Olaug of a woman barges me and demands I say excuse me. What! You knocked into me. Both became aggressive and throw items at me. I defended my ground it's my right. The 2 were ushered out by staff and other customers. Then I was refused service and the management did not want to listen to me!!! Disgraceful I hope I am contacted by Boots and the cameras are REVIEWED!!!!!!
The reason I go to Boots and pay that bit more is to avoid Superdrug, so I don't have some overzealous shop assistant trying to upsell and foist products on me which I neither need nor want when I try paying for an item. No such luck here, however, as you can't use the self-service without an assistant accosting you and trying to upsell you mascara at 7am. I also noticed it's only female customers who get pestered like this, as I'm yet to see a male customer being approached and having a random product shoved down their throat.
Given incorrect medications asked for out of control migraine. When queried over phone, gentleman involved ‘Shree’ would not listen, had zero empathy and proceeded to shout at me that I should go to A&E. I think A&E staff may agree that migraine can be managed very well with the correct medications given (preferably by a knowledgeable and polite) pharmacist. I strongly believe Shree should not be a part of this community and have made then clear to the pharmacy manager. I am still without my medication.
I don’t know his name but the person begins the till called him over and he was so rude when he walked over to me. Wanted to return something I bought a couple days ago and he refused my return for no good reason and no excuse. Wasn’t happy with the service and was very rude when I asked for a reason why he couldn’t return my unused and unopened item. I’d been working all 12 hour shifts for nearly a week straight and I definitely didn’t need the attitude. Will be avoiding this store from now on.
Poor customer service, no.staff and the ones that do work there know nothing about the products sold and are unhelpful with very little interest in the customer, 25 minutes to be served, left after 25 minutes as had to catch a train, there was only one person in the que before me the whole time. My visit was in prime time so expect it to be better staffed with staff that have knowledge, I would understand if it was 10 at night but this is 4 in the afternoon
Store doesn’t actually closed at 10pm, 7 minutes before 10pm they didn’t let us in, we insisted to the security guy, he checked but the staff didn’t let us in and as it’s was hey-fever situation we knew what we wanted but NO, 7 minutes before closing time we couldn’t get inside. They should say that on their closing times on the website as it is no accurate if you arrive before the time they mention..
Security guard eyed my partner and I up the whole time we were in. Then watched us as we were purchasing our items at self checkout. Then came over and touched my partners arm to say that we hadn’t paid for something (which we had). Didn’t get a sorry or anything when he realised we had paid for every one of our items. Will use WHS instead next time
This place can get crowded and busy but still has everything you need. There are 2 Boots stores within the station and this is the smaller of the two. There is a pharmacy here as well as plenty of usual items you can expect. If you don’t find what you need, try the other larger store.
Staff rude. The woman attending the prescriptions doesnt know how to manage peoples problems. Ive been treated as if was stupid and i had to deal with her angry face. Not even a thank you when i left the shop. If you are not happy with your job just find another thing.
Pharmacist had a loud totally inappropriate unprofessional conversation with a lady about a personal matter. Meanwhile we were left at the front of a prescription queue being ignored while the staff just looked at us and continued their conversations.
Came here with my boyfriend to get some needle tips for his insulin pen as he has type 1 diabetes. The staff said they didn’t hold anything for diabetes. What type of pharmacy doesn’t hold essential items for people with diabetes?!
I came today 16/01/22 and I was served by a great locum pharmacist called Rami. He was very professional, knowledgeable and approachable. I can't describe enough how pleased I was with his excellent customer service.
Please tell the security guy following me around that I wasn't acting suspicious, just super uncomfortable having a man stand behind you staring at you while you're trying to choose a BV gel for your lady bits...
Rudest pharmacy I have ever encountered. They have an NHS attitude which means they treat their Pharmacy customers with zero respect.Something seriously amiss with the way this is run.
Some air conditioning wouldn’t go amiss. Hottest shop on earth. Do you intentionally over heat it so you can sell more heatstroke medicine?
It's in the station, fair small but we'll stocked, staff are helpful but you do get watched as lots shoplifter operates in the area.
Has a good range of products as you would expect a normal boots store The staff members are very friendly and nice …
I had good experience with the pharmacist to exchange the medicine with another's Nice customer service
Small branch in the station. Convenient but limited items. Staff could be friendlier.
The black lady at the till helped me a lot and she was very friendly. thanks a lot:)
Boots is what it is. Your go to place for cosmetics and toiletries and pharmacy.
Wonderful experience with a very helpful pharmacist here - even on a Sunday!
Open till 10pm. If looking for medication, call on the staff to help.
