Redwing asked me to drop off a set of boots that had to be warranty returned. (Not purchased in store, but they are a redwing partner, and the owner said it was ok to return through them) When dropping them off I asked to quickly try on a half size down, in case the fitment was better. This would have taken less than 2 minutes. The person behind the counter told me they would not "waste their time" on me and told me the return was all they would do. So I purchased my second set of Redwings and the set for my girlfriend elsewhere. Would never recommend this store to anyone, as simple customer service is clearly a problem for them. It seems odd to me that a place that sells footware, something people buy many times over their lifetime, would be so blantantly rude to what could be a future customer. Edit: as I can't reply to the business... You had a chance to gain a customer. Instead you have given subpar customer service and told me I wasn't worth your time. As for Brad at redwing : "I am sorry to hear that this store location was not of assistance in confirming your proper size." Also, it should be noted that Redwing (the before mentioned Brad) was nothing but amazing with their customer service, and bottes et baskets attempt to throw them under the bus is nothing but a sad attempt to excuse their absolutely abysmal customer service. But based on your other disrespectful replies to paying customers, your attitude is not at all surprising. Anyone reading this should avoided bottes et baskets. There are many other stores that want your business and will treat you with respect.

Initial purchase of my boots was good. Returning them was required for repair. Marie pointed me to the manufacturer. I was unable to deliver them there within their business hours, so the manufacturer told me delivery to the store was ok. Marie gave us lots of attitude regarding this scenario, and did NOT show any customer care. She turned us away, and lost further business. Very poor treatment and customer satisfaction is not a priority. Response: As mentioned above, ability to deliver to boot manufacturer was unable to be done during their business hours. They stated it would be fine to drop them off at your location. Also, the customer felt uncomfortable after the interaction, and left without the want to return. That is the environment that was felt, and not comforting when spending money at your shop. Thanks for the reply

Im from Vancouver and had the hardest time finding a specific pair of boots! I looked for them all over and got lucky by finding them for an extremely fair price at Bottes et Baskets in Montreal! The website was amazing, my product arrived at a fair time in great condition and the packaging was adorable! This place has a returning customer from the other side of Canada! Merci beaucoup!

Perfect place for a unique, hard to find, special gift, either to yourself or for others. Wide selection of imported clothing, shoes and accessories. Their staff is helpful, friendly and know their products pretty well. Both describing the origin, fabrication and special details you may not know about their selection. I always think of them first if I want to treat myself or others.

Il y a des bottes avec des demi pointures et c'est important pour moi. Ma boutique de souliers préférée lorsque j'habitais à Montréal. Personnel accueillant, produits de qualités très difficiles à trouver ailleurs. Je suis maintenant trop loin sur la rive-sud pour m'y déplacer et y faire mes achats. L'achat en ligne est un vrai charme. J'ai reçu mes deux dernières commandes en moins de 24h.

Great selection of shoes, canadian and international brand as well. Perfect spot to try and find a pair of shoes. The staff is friendly and attentive, do not hesitate to ask them for recommendations. They have a couple of eco-friendly brands also. You can find some bags, socks, amazing hats, and jewelries as well!

Shoes broke after two months. Refund or replacement was refused (had a receipt). They offered to repair (within two weeks) part of the broken shoe while blaming the other fault on "normal wear".

Quality local footwear. Price is a bit high. They carry some generic brands which you can find anywhere else. But the local footwear is quite nice.
