I've been a member of Bounce since the New Malden gym opened and I can honestly say its the best gym I've ever joined. Their huge range of equipment is diverse, new and carefully tailored towards strength and conditioning. Its a rare to find a gym put so much thought into their choice of equipment and a welcome change from traditional gyms than cram in equipment at random. The result is a full tool kit of weights and machines to choose how to tailor your training goals, there is always something new to learn or try out. This coupled with the regular classes make attempting a new fitness approach easy, from boxing to HITT cardio, Bounce makes it simple to learn a new technique or fine tune your own program. However, for me, its the fact that Bounce feels more like a community than many of the large, sterile corporate gyms that dominate the market place. It's a friendly, open and accepting environment full of people at various levels that have all come together with the goal of improving their fitness. Although everyone at a different fitness levels you're always made to feel welcome which in turns helps you feel the confidence to try something new. Strongly recommend.

A real gem. Unfortunately Fitness Theory proved to be too good for the people of Epsom and has closed down, so I needed to find another place to train for when I am in the UK. Was very surprised that I didn't know about this place given it's just down the road from where I grew up. I emailed them upfront to see if I could join just for the month and Jack replied extremely quickly to the affirmative. He also affirmed that they welcome those training for powerlifting (not always easy to tell from Google images what the set-up is). Arrived for my first session and got signed up very quickly by Mo and the gym itself surpased what I was expecting - 6 racks/platforms all lined-up. They have a very healthy weighlifting community that trains here which is lovely to see (deep-down it's what we all wish we were training as!) and I believe they do classes too. Also caters for the casual gym goer - all the equipment you could ask for is here. The place has extremely easy parking, the staff are all very friendly - I will miss training here after I leave. Really, if you're looking for a gym in the aread, it's a no-brainer.

I've seen a great number of gyms and this one is one of the best equipped ones I've been to. It's certainly the best one of all in this area. The space is very nice and it's very well equipped. Staff are very friendly, Jessica who introduced me to the gym was clearly very passionate not only about sports in general, but about being as much helps as possible to keep me motivated by matching my goals with the equipment they have and giving hands-on advice at the training stations. Overall, I'm impressed and only wish I took time to look around this gym earlier - it's a step away from the train station, there's parking at the back of it at Waitrose, the gym's bigger than it looks on the outside and there's the second floor, too. IMHO even a professional would be comfortable training there, especially the barbell stations, there are a lot and they are all lined up conveniently to give training comfort without the worry of being accidentally pushed by someone passing by

The reason this review is a one star is because customer service and client interaction is EVERYTHING. the appalling customer service from a few members of the staff, in management positions (name and shame, that would be saner) and also the unsolicited emails and the ignorance when requested to be removed from marketing Comms, yes any email about an offer, deal, class or even about the gym is marketing. after speaking with the ICO and relaying what they told me I wasn't expected to be corrected by saner, let alone when I was complaining and completely correct. Customer is always right guys, especially when they actually are. The gym itself as an area with equipment is good, it's well equipped, but you aren't the monopoly and you can't treat customers in that way as there is always someone of equal value for equal quality, if not better, especially in London. Also, air conditioning either doesn't work or isn't effective.

The team at Bounce are very knowledgeable and personable and make everyone welcome, no matter what their level of fitness. Bounce is well equipped with a great range of gym kit, which is always clean and well maintained. The gym is never over full, so you always get the opportunity to use the kit that you need to use and there is always a coach on hand to provide advise if you have any questions about correct exercise technique. There is a comprehensive class timetable; from HIIT & Weight Lifting through to Yoga and everything else in between, so there is bound to be something that suits your preferred training style. Drop in to take a look for yourself and one of the team will show you around. If it's the classes that interest you, then maybe time your visit with when one of the classes is on and have a chat with instructor at the end about what you want to get out of your fitness training. A definite five stars. :-)

This is not the standard review but I just want to commend the incredible team at Bounce Gym. I’m not a member but today was in excruciating pain with IBD. I asked Richard if I could use the gym’s WC, explaining my condition. Without a pause or hesitation, Richard made me feel completely welcomed and supported, giving me directions etc. This kind of experience is not common and really stands out as IBD is an invisible disability that can be horribly stressful to deal with at times. These experiences make me feel really proud of a company and their incredible team. Thank you Richard, you don’t know what a difference you made today!

During my time at Bounce Gym, the fantastic physios and s&c coaches have helped me overcome numerous injuries , and become stronger . Having been to many sessions with different physios elsewhere , and not achieved the results and recovery I’ve wanted to achieve was very difficult , up until I came across bounce gym , I’ve always finished my session very satisfied with the service and help provided. A particular shoutout to Jack Duffy, Mark and Jack Fish who have been absolutely amazing and have helped me a lot in my football career journey which has given me hope again .

Clearly the best equipment of any gym in the area, but in recent months the growing size of the popular Olympic weightlifting club has made large parts of the gym difficult to use for normal members during peak hours (particularly weekday evenings). Fantastic coaching and the place to go if you want to take Olympic lifting seriously, but the needs of other gym members seem to have been overlooked to some extent recently. Maybe time to set up the weightlifting club with some dedicated space in one of the little-used studios upstairs?

Bounce is the most welcoming gym I have ever been a member of... it delivers fantastic classes which are challenging and most importantly to me, fun! The class timetable is so varied with different style of classes to what a typical gym offers. Many of the staff are long standing members of the team, so you really get to know them and they are great at what they do. The gym itself is a great space with the gym over 2 floors and a lovely studio for yoga etc. I would highly reccomend Bounce.

  • MrFhossain

Brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable staff for any level of trainee. The equipment is really good and varied, so there's no chance of getting bored especially with all the classes that are provided and the people are very helpful if you need any training advice. I found the atmosphere very accommodating and friendly in all the years I've been with Bounce, New Malden and I highly recommend it to anyone for their health and fitness goals! Faisal

Bounce is a fantastic place to train. Great facility, welcoming staff, and a friendly yet focused atmosphere. Plus, it's obvious everyone is taking Covid precautions seriously. There's enough space to keep a sensible amount of physical distance, and there is plenty of alcohol hand gel available. The staff regularly clean the facility, and all the members take responsibility for cleaning the equipment they've used.

  • Julia Ozsarac

Amazing gym with a professional approach: great selection of classes, groups are not very large, so you get a lot of personalized attention from the coaches. I have attended boxing, pilates, weightlifting, and yoga classes, and have achieved amazing results. They also did an amazing job with a virtual gym, which has massively helped me and my kids to get through the lockdown. Five stars without hesitation.

Thank you so much to Bounce Gym for helping me get back into strength training. I had various issues and was extremely nervous about getting back into training. The staff, in particular Pixie has basically held my hand every step of the way, mentally and physically and I am so grateful. A year on and I am so much fitter, stronger and so much more confident in my abilities. Thank you a million times over!

If you like weightlifting then you'll like Bounce. There's numerous power racks and benches etc. however you won't find many aerobic or even weight machines (like a pec-dec for example). Some of the equipment is dated and needs replacing (like cables for lat machines). Quite expensive for what's on offer (£65 p/m) but at least the high price keeps the chavs out. Very friendly staff though.

  • M.Sheriff

Really good gym. Positives Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great classes. Day pass possible for 1st time. Really unique and fun training equipment like sleigh, rings and ropes. Toilets are clean, handless taps would be great. Negatives Quite expensive. One of the chest press machines goes so low, it's dangerous to use (only reason I'm not giving it a 5/5). A calf machine would be nice.

  • Liu Sam

Beautiful gym with great equipments, though would prefer having a completely flat bench somewhere. Due to current circumstances, it would seem unlikely that I will return to this gym any time soon seeing I will be back at Uni, and also away from the UK in the future. But if I return in the future, I would come back here and train, and hopefully seeing a flat bench.

  • Alicia Russell

Hands down the best gym I've been a member of - particularly if you're more into weight lifting & power lifting (though there are cardio machines, but not as many as other gyms). All the staff are lovely and there's just a general lovely feel to the gym. All members seem to be really decent people and have good gym etiquette. Recommend to anyone in the area!

Joined the bounce gym today as the gyms reopened. My thoughts on the gym: great equipment, lovely and chatty staff, clean/safe and a friendly atmosphere. All in all a great gym. Only negative was the price as its on the expensive side, but if you can afford it then this is definitely the best gym in the area. Looking forward to my next workout

  • Vicky Faulkner

Best gym! Great equipment and racks for weightlifting! Classes are fun but run with professionals who know their stuff..... have been coming since it opened in New Malden and prior to that I was at the Wimbledon branch. Both sites have brilliant, highly knowledgeable and qualified trainers! So friendly too!

  • Edwin Cook

I bought dumbbells 1-10kg and rack from here for £370 and was really pleased by the quality and in dealing with Dan from the gym, bought off GumTree. Also got to see the gym when picking up the weights and it was really well equipped. If I did not live so far away I would enjoy working out here. Edwin

  • Steven Crewdson

Good range of equipment including good Humber of squat racks and 30m track. What let’s it down is lack of good overall TLC and speed to fix broken equipment, windows in the men’s changing rooms has been broken for over a year and no heading so place it like an ice block first few hours of the day.

  • libby elliott

I recently took up golf and twisted my back. Cat the physio at Bounce in Wimbledon was so thorough, immediately diagnosing the issue, providing exercises to rehabilitate me and sorting out my pain quickly. This gym has a great team of physios on hand as well as trainers. Highly recommended.

  • Ryan Stimson

I have been a member of this gym for 2 years and I would highly recommend it to anyone in SW London. The trainers are friendly and very knowledgeable. The classes are varied and frequent and the equipment is first class. I am moving from the area and the gym and the staff will be missed!

  • Stephanie Baker

Visited the spin studio which is really well equipped with top of the range spin bikes. Had a fantastic workout first thing on a Monday morning and Bethan the instructor was amazing and full of energy! 5 stars will definitely be back for her class …

  • Tom Morris

Great gym with friendly and helpful staff and an incredibly supportive culture. There is plenty of equipment to suit all needs and it is never too busy so you can always use the equipment you like. So much better than other commercial gyms I’ve used

  • Emília Budaházy

It has everything what you need including platforms. Some of the barbells are pretty used now, not the best but ok. There are not enough fractional plates, and sometimes classes use way too many platforms in peak times.

  • Lydia Odai

So sad to be leaving this gym! Awesome trainers, great kit and a wide variety of classes, I learned so much about my body while I was there. Perfect place if you are serious about athletic conditioning for sports …

  • Eddie Perry

Ended my membership 6 months ago and still paying, they haven't refunded me the full amount. This is also not an anomaly as it also happened to my friend, would recommend cheaper close by alternatives like Fitness4Less

  • gregory weaver

Great price for students, proper american style gym, lots of free weights, dumbbells that actually go up to a reasonable weight unlike so many other gyms, and a great array of classes for the more serious gym goers

  • Paddy Healy

Great facility, ample squat racks really modern and friendly staff. Trained in bounce for years without complaint would definitely recommend coming here if you want to take your strength training up a level

  • Charlie Moult

Fantastic place, wonderful team, all the staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. I love going to the classes too, which are always to a very high standard. I can’t recommend this place enough, thank you x

  • Joe Y

Good number of squat racks and lifting platforms with a wide variety of equipment. But the changing rooms and upper first floor could do with a facelift. A lot of unusable old equipment on the first floor.

  • Rob Westworth

Superb training facility with outstanding coaches and crew. Perfect for any ability. Really friendly. My wife and I have been members for nearly 5 years joining as complete novices. Well worth a visit

  • Jessica Hagedorn

Super Gym, friendly and knowledgable staff, great equipment and lots of classes. They have been amazing throughout the Covid lockdown, providing virtual classes to keep us all sane. Thank you Bounce.

  • Anthony Williams

Excellent gym. Great equipment and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff. Love the fact they have six power racks for strength training. Good value for money - highly recommended.

  • Lucy Rosa

Great local gym. I do the HIIT classes a few times a week and they are always excellent. A serious workout in 30 minutes. The team here are all so genuine and it feels a bit like a family!

  • Gordon E

Fantastic! Our son benefited greatly from both the facility and personal training. We believe it helped him attain his goal of a sports scholarship for his A-Levels years at a new school!

  • Marisha de la Rouviere

Great staff and personal trainers. Lovely classes and the prices are not too bad! It was great to spend time at this gym. We are leaving the area and very sad to be leaving.

Jack the manager here is the best. He makes every possible effort to accommodate you! I was so inspired by the experience that I went on to build my own home gym!

  • Joe Lavender

Very good facility. Best gym i've attended. Modern equipment/machines and plenty of squat racks. Also, a wide range of classes, free to attend.

  • Adam Vanstone

Amazing gym, never waited or couldn't get to a class, loads of great equipment and most of all, amazing & accommodating people.

  • Tandeep Sahi

It has a lot of free weights, but the mirrors are quite far away for checking your form. Quite expensive for what it offers.

  • thepathofdeath101

Good gym, does get busy in the evenings, leg press machine is a bit stiff but all in all has plenty to get a good workout in
