I use to stay here on a regular basis, however the last time I stayed was Dec 2018,and was booked for July 2020, payed the deposit they enforced of $300 . .. when Covid happen they refused to refund but gave credit to be used by the end of this year...However we just managed to get over for July 2021....to find out they make you pay a bond ...up until Dec 2018 inclusive they never had one.....this bond is a cleaning bond and if you don't leave the place clean....as set out in the rules on the plaque which is nailed to the wall in the kitchen...... You have to sweep the floors and clean everything and empty the rubbish etc etc and if you don't you don't get your money back....( We left the place cleaner than when we arrived). Due to the fact they owed me $300 I had to have two nights there and unfortunately they are closed at 1230pm on both weekend days so couldn't pay the bond until Saturday morning as they wanted us to get there before 10am....turned up and they came to the door and said"what do you want!!?" Quite rudely.... Refused cash..,.. last time we stayed had my grand children stay and two of them got hurt on their playground not from their own fault just that the soft mat in the playground was deteriorated and very hard ....one grand child ended up in hospital and the other now has a scar on his arm ...,. however we have now found another caravan park of similar prices and better accommodation. .has more things for kids to do ....no cleaning deposit...they stay open until 7pm every night.....staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful ...and you get treated with respect.... they take cash ... the only deposit is a nominal refundable key deposit..... better situated...and will certainly be going back to them...

The poor attitude towards people who are staying here is quite evident. The park was clean and the cleaners were nice but that is about it. Pool burnt your eyes because it was easier to pour in chlorine rather than check it properly, while staying your site will get no attention and the palms will create another shelter at the back of your van, if you have kids you will be made feel unwelcome when they realise and the streets feel like a F1 race is going on all the time from the cars/ trucks that are flying around with no regards for anyone elses safety. While trying to talk to staff in the office it felt like they didn't have the training to deal or communicate with people. These could all be rectified by changing the attitude from the owners which in turn will change the culture of the team and make the park a nicer stay. I hope you are open to feedback because this park could be okay and the location to see Brisbane is good.

Absolutely amazing. The staff were lovely even though I checked in slightly earlier.. the room was clean and had everything we needed. We haven't been to Brisbane in over 10 years but would be travelling more often for this place. Convienent location, great facilities and made sure your room was accomadating. They even filed up jugs of water ! Amazing price. Me and my partner felt at home and felt sad leaving this place. There's a bit of roadworks outside but couldn't hear a thing with the amount of trees. Came with free Wi-Fi which was great for my kids and they provided a free portacot for my 1 year old. Thank you for everything ! We will be back again!!

I have a disability and use a motorised scooter. We did an overnight stay at this so called resort!!! The gutters were on such a gradient level l could not ride my scooter either up or down. I could not gain access to the pool as they had a very steep pathway. Apparently there was a male staff at reception who was a tad abrasive to my partner. Unfortunately this cost us $75 for the night and l could not gain access to most things on the property. There were cabins throughout the property and l can only assume they were privately owned with many of them being unkempt and extremely untidy. The lawns throughout the property also needed to be maintained all said not adding to the ambience of a so called resort. All extremely disappointing Sharon Stanton

Lost count of the caravan parks and resorts offering FREE WiFi only to find the data allowance isn't enough to read two emails and or the signal is so poor its hardly worth the effort of signing in. Brisbane Gateway Resort however offers outstanding signal strength and a more than generous data allowance. Finally Ive found an Australian tourist resort willing to move into the 21 century, congratulations. Exceptionally clean amenities, great pool and play area for kids. Good location. Some earlier reviews mentioned motorway and aircraft noise, seriously you would need bionic hearing for this to be a problem.

The cabin where I stayed is immaculate, very well maintained, loved the landscaping. Our stay was such a treat except for the nights our next and front door neighbor (they’re together) who had set up a table on the street and took over the area and stayed and drank till really late night, felt like our personal space was taken over (worst is when their group of kids litter in front of our cabin). Even after the not so good experience I still highly recommend the place, the cabin has everything you will need for your stay and very relaxing, staff are very helpful in many ways. Will stay again for sure.

We recently stayed here for four months in one of their resort style homes and the home itself was immaculate clean, fresh and modern the facilities at the park are great our 2 year old loved the playground and the pool was beautiful a great place to relax. Every staff member was super friendly Russel, Murray and Grant Are the best nothing is ever an issue and they will fix any problem without delay. We will definitely be going back I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

My husband and I, along with our daughter stayed here in our caravan for a softball tournament at Redlands. It was a perfect location only taking 20 minutes at most to get to the fields. Plenty of options for groceries, take-away food, perfect access to motorway and generally excellent location. The park itself was lovely. One of the nicest we have stayed in. Well kept amenities, lovely pool area, wildlife, lovely residents, fantastic van sites. Free Wifi which had our daughter won over, along with the pool and games room. Can't fault the park at all.

One of the worst mistakes we have ever made in our stays somewhere. The room fittings are very much showing their age, being both dirty and dishevelled. The room cleaning was of exceptionally poor quality! I'm sure a six year old with an old oily rag could have achieved better results. The managers of the resort have clearly done their customer training in North Korea! being highly indifferent, overbearing and just plain rude. Think I would rather have all my teeth extracted with a pair of rusty pliers, than to have to stay there again!

When we travel to Brisbane for extended visits with family, we choose the Gateway Resort. The accommodations are well suited for our family; we love being able to relax by the pool, or challenge one another to a game of tennis or ping pong. The staff are exceptional. I cannot say enough about the hardworking housekeeping team. The guys responsible for grounds maintenance are friendly and also do a great job. We always feel well taken care of, and will no doubt stay at the Gateway again in the future.

I booked this as I was travelling with my children and meeting with my father who was travelling in a caravan. I stayed in a one bedroom villa and was very impressed! Very clean, all new appliances! Everything we needed. Even let me have a late check out when my flight was in the late afternoon. Gardens and grounds immaculate. They take pride here. Thank you for a great stay!

It is always a terrific place for a holiday. A compact simple neat cottage that has everything you need - you can prepare a roast dinner for when the children visit to making a simple toasted sandwich. The park has great amenities, lots of fun activities, it is clean and tidy, and because there is bushland surrounding wild birds are everywhere. I always stay here when having holidays in Brisbane, a truly great place with super friendly staff.

We have stayed here a few times now. Beautiful surroundings with the palm trees and gardens. A great swimming pool, for the warmer months, playground, tennis courts and table tennis. A great small camp kitchen and bbq areas. Very clean amenities. A short drive to the relatively new Coles Supermarket and an IGA, bakery, cafe, bottleshop.

This place has its qualities but stacked up against way overcharged rates for apartments and the arrogrant brothers that own it, it's better to give this one a miss. I've never given a 1 star rating and hate to do it but i can only tell the truth. This is also the opinion of many people I know who have or wanted to stay there.

Was good spent a week plus $1000 in accommodation expenses. I forgot too bring the key back, after 1 or 2 weeks of work I traveled all away from Toowoomba just too get band by the manager. Thumbs down, no leniency too valuable customers

We had a lovely 3 day stay, helpful, pleasant, friendly staff. Clean amenities. Kitchen. Barbecue areas. Card operated washer dryers, shower caddy’s, lots of little extras that make a difference from other parks we have stayed at. Pool, tennis courts, basketball hoop, kids loved. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for two nights, and fell in love we didn't want to leave. The room was very clean, fresh modern and very comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and inviting. Loved looking out onto the lovely well maintained garden. We will definitely stay here again :)

Very pleasant staff to deal with. I have not yet stayed there as the Premier of Queensland blocked Sydney siders from entering QLD. I had booked hoping the border would open and 2 days later had to cancel. I received all my money back. I will be staying here in the future.

Great place to stay with a caravan in Brisbane. Clean, tidy and attractive place right next to the motorway, so simple to get to and travel from. Unfortunately the weather was against us, so things were very wet, but management had things organised to reduce the impact.

Great clean cabins and lovely gardens. Free baby items available. No shade on child's playground...needed signs about using toilet whilst showing for safety especially with kids. In a great area,lovely service. Perhaps expensive for what it was though. Thankyou.

Unable to pay to use the showers and managment unsypmerthetic to potential future customer that could only really afford a shower at this point in time but in 7 days time will be looking to rent a camp site I would highly recommend finding a nother place

Very clean and quite Caravan and Holiday Park. Highlight is the sparkling salt-water swimming pool. Several clean BBQ areas and a camp kitchen. Public Bus Service to Brisbane CBD is directly in front. Free WiFi. Very competent and helpful staff.

Beautiful resort. We stayed in a cabin and it was amazing. There was a full sized fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Big air conditioner helped cool the cabin down. Only issue was no fans in the cabins. Will be happy to stay here again.

It's a bit out of the way but there is a bus stop right outside it! We were right next to the toilets and they were very clean The staff were lovely and the pool was good. You can walk a short distance and get to nice burger place :)

Very nice clean spot. Great amenities very clean my camp spot was a little tight as I have a batwing awning with a tent off the end, little bit of adjusting to get everything to just fit. Staff where very nice and accommodating

The last few 100 metres is currently along a bus line which is flanked on one side by a construction site - that does require care on a few counts.

Convenient to Brisbane freeway and very clean tidy and quiet. Yes you have the hum sound of the freeway but it's not too loud. Great for caravan or motorhome. Very clean amenities and the entire property shows this cleanliness

Unbelievable service we had car troubles and need a place to leave van etc while car got fixed ,staff went above and beyond to help us out. It's a great clean and tidy park great facilities, and it's close to the Glen

Stayed in unit 44 ,attacked by bed bugs ,mentioned to head cleaner ,she basically snubbed me off but changed blankets only because we watched them clean ,mattresses need replacing ,and a fumigation.

Great location. Close enough to highway access for Theme Parks/Brisbane trips but far enough away so noise is not an issue. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Will recommend to friend and family.

Only stayed a night (arrived late, left early) but seems like a nice place. It was quiet and we had a good spot. Good amenities and a playground for the kids too Nothing to complain about!

Offers a weekly rate, sites have pad's and palms. Bathrooms older style but very clean. Great access to freeway's, and central to a couple of big shopping centres. Staff are very helpful.

Very clean and well organised camping. It has some nice ‘tech’ solutions as well, and the Wifi worked perfectly. The people at the reception were very kind and helpful.
