JUNE2019 I came across Dr Solomon ,God love him,in a pinch when my dog was attacked at a dog park. (Bit in the neck by a pitbull 4/5 minutes) The two other vets on the same block where to quote "busy" to take care of my dog. Once again, thank God Dr. Solomon was not only available & on scene, but within less than a few hours my dog was patched up and ready to go back home. While still banged up and with under specific directions by Dr. Solomon my dog Kirby is now a healthy dog instead of resting in peace. Located in the middle of Morris Park Avenue right next to Patsy's Pizzeria. Spotless clean office run by a man who took over his father's business. Nothing better than I can say about this man except that I am eternally grateful and he will be my vet as well as my sister's for the rest of our lives. FEB 2020 My sister's dog Sheamus passed away yesterday, which we thought was from overfeeding in our apartment. We called up. Dr. Solomon with less than a half-hour to-go for closing and he said he would wait for us. He was able to let us know that it wasn't our fault. Clearly explained all the problems with this breed. He also assured us that The cremation services are on the up-and-up and the price of it reflects their authenticity. Once again can't say enough about this great man who has the ultimate compassion living or past on. I highly recommend you to travel to this man. That's how good he is. Update August 2023 I was able to spend the final moments with my dog Kirby with Dr. Solomon at my side. He provided me with so much candid information that made the experience so much better than I could've ever thought. His staff went the extra mile to make sure the Kirby was perfectly content in his last moments. I cannot express how grateful I am that this place is still open with so many open hearts ready to serve.

Dr. Soliman and the team at Bronx County Animal Hospital are simply exceptional. When I first visited them, I had already spent thousands of dollars at several vets who provided few solutions and little clarity on my dog's condition and treatment. I was beyond frustrated and fearful that my guy was suffering and wouldn't be around for much longer. The team at BC was not only compassionate to me and my dog (treating and handling him like the little prince he is), but took THE TIME to really explain all of the possible issues, options for addressing, COSTS, and implications. I fully credit this team for the complete 180 of my dog's health in the last year. It's obvious that Dr. Soliman especially is passionate about what he does and truly cares about his patients, their pet parents, and this community. He goes WAAAAAY above and beyond the level of service you'd expect from any vet - following up with calls after hours, connecting with peers to inform diagnostics and treatment, and helping with pet insurance claims. He's even very generously gifted me his own dog's food for my dog to try, so I wouldn't have to waste the money on entire pack if he didn't like it. I've witnessed countless similar acts of kindness with other patients while sitting in that waiting room, so it's not surprising that many of them have been going here for YEARS and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Thanks to BC, my guy is the healthiest he's been in his entire 10 (almost 11!) years. I'm so grateful, I recommend this hospital to anyone I know - neighbors, strangers at the dog park, the barista with a paw tattoo at Starbucks. In fact, I have family driving in from NJ to get the best care for their fur babies. Simply 10/10. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Dr. Sean Soliman is one of the best vets my dog has ever had. After recently moving to the Bronx, it was difficult for me to find a competent, compassionate vet in the area. Dr. Soliman is clearly very intelligent, knows his veterinary medicine, and has excellent bedside manner. He follows up regularly and ensures that the treatment he prescribes is working. He also does not pressure you into pursuing expensive and potentially invasive treatments if he truly does not feel it will be beneficial. However, he does inform you of all the possible treatment options and is very transparent about the pricing. Many vets out there are not sensitive to the fact that vet services can place a huge financial toll on pet parents and I really appreciate the fact that Dr. Solimon is just the opposite. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my elderly beagle dog. He had advanced kidney disease. Thanks to Dr. S, I was able to enjoy him for at least 3 more months before deciding to finally let him rest. His receptionist and vet techs are also very friendly and are quite responsive. If you're looking for a trustworthy vet in the Bronx, I highly recommend this practice!

My fiancé and I took our pet Bailey here for the first time. He was rude at first and told us our dog would die if he would of got into poison but we didn’t have that at home. To find out he was just having a bad ulcer. After Bailey got better our other dog Jasper got extremely sick. He took him in every time he would get sick and dr Soliman tried his best to make sure Jasper was healthy. He is a very caring guy and love his job. We have to call him every week just to let him know how Jasper is doing because of his diet and his therapy that he is on. He gave us a long life for our dog Jasper and I thank him for everything he had done. I would recommend him to anyone because he is doing the best job and he already know us every time we call.

This place is phenomenal! The staff is great and so accommodating! I cannot say enough about Dr Sean ....He Is so kind and thorough and honest. Truly concerned about my girl Ruby. Has anyone ever gotten a wellness check phone call over a weekend from their own doctor? let alone their vet??? The legacy continues here at Bronx County Animal Hospital. I made an appointment for my dog on 10/13/22 for 1pm. It was my first time there, you have to look for parking and I passed the location so I arrived exactly 6 minutes late. When I got there someone was waiting to see the doctor and there was another person in the room with the doctor. The person in the waiting had an appointment was for 1:30 p.m., but because I arrived 6 minutes late, they offered my slot to the 1:30 appointment even though I called and confirmed and they were not ready for me at 1. A grace period should be provided especially since I was only 6 minutes late and the doctor was not ready to see my dog. I left and decided not to stay. They need to do better.

Excellent local vet. We used to go to the VCA in Yonkers but our favorite vet left and we decided to try a vet close to where we live in Morris Park. We have high standards for vets as we treat our cats like our kids, so I was worried it wasn't going to be good. Well I was wrong! Dr. Soliman is smart, patient, and so helpful. He really cares about the animals and takes his time with them. He is also aware of how expensive the vet can be and balances cost and care very well. The staff is professional and timely and also lives animals. The office is small and the furniture could use a little spruce but it's really a decent place. I highly recommend this very good your pets.

I'd no recommend that place. The staff and the place are very nice and clean, but Dr. Soliman has no knowledge of anything. I took my dog there the first time for being following the reviews and I don't really know how he gets 5 starts. I was charged $600.00 dollars and he didn't know anything just prescribed my dog antibiotic and everything I asked him he just said I don't Know I don't know and I will refer you to an specialist , so what kind of doctor he is without capacity to help your pet and give a solution. He charges to much for the poor service he provides. Sorry but don't bring your pet to that clinic . wasting of time and money....

Took in a stray kitten that was 7 weeks old and had several signs of kitten failure syndrome. I tried to give it the antibiotics provided and eye drops, but days later had to bring her back to be put down. I was hysterical. However, the people here were great. They provided me water because I was very upset crying. They let me use the room to make calls and decide what to do given the kitten every opportunity to fight. She just was too far gone and blind as well. I'd recommend this place for level of care physically and emotionally. It's insane how attached I got to a stray in a couple of days time.

I have been extremely happy with the care Riley has received from the Bronx County Animal Hospital. My dog is elderly and was suffering from a number of very serious health issues. Dr. Soliman and I had serious conversations about Riley's care, and we decided to all we could do to keep him comfortable. That was a few months ago. We had a road trip planned and never thought he would be ok to come with us. Let me tell you we've been on the road a couple of weeks already, and he is having a great time exploring every place we stop. Thank you, Dr. Soliman for giving us more time with Riley.

Dr. Soliman is so awesome. He really shows us how much he cares when my senior husky, Kai-Stone has a visit. He is dedicated and compassionate. The girls are also very attentive and sweet. Even when I call with questions or need a refill, someone always gets back to me with answers and/or advice whether it's the doctor or one of the girls. Kai used to see Dr. S father when he was around and I am beyond grateful that he took over the practice where Kai continues to receive the same level of care. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a Vet to take great care of their furry babies :)

Dr. Soliman was absolutely amazing. During this traumatizing pandemic, my dog came down with a very uncomfortable irritation. It was my first time bringing my dog here. I called them in a little bit of a panic and they somehow squeezed me in on a Saturday. Dr. Soliman was extremely informative, caring and most importantly sincere. Since it was a curbside appointment, him and his assistant would come outside and constantly keep us posted with phone calls with what exactly they were doing with my dog. I will be bringing my dog here for all his visits. You guys were awesome!

I was visiting my mom for the hidays and had a sick rescue kitten with me and thankfully the young lady at reception was able to fit me in the day I was arriving. The office itself is small but immaculate. I was seen right on time, the staff were very friendly and Dr. Soliman was the best. He gave me options that were budget friendly, gave me everything I needed to care for little nugget, and he gave me some amazing advice on things I could do to help future rescue's. I thank God every day that I found Dr. Solimans animal Hospital. I came in with my Cat Leonardo who was experiencing a blockage causing him pain and blood when he would pee. Dr. Soliman gave me his honest opinion and the possible outcome of the treatment he recommended. My cat is still alive today and I owe that to him! He is amazing. His prices are absolutely reasonable. You can tell he loves his job and how much he cares for his patients. Thank you a million times over for helping my cat. Leo is back to his healthy self

Aww Dr. Soliman is an awesome Vet, he came on board with my hoard of pets quite quickly. All my 4 of my dogs have issues, they are all older, but...make no mistake they are my fur babies. Thankfully because of a discount card available through Carefree Dental plan, they have a Comprehensive Veternarian card as well. It has helped me get my dogs more frequent vet care. Dr.Soliman will have his assistants pick your pet up at curb side, due to the Corvid Virus. Please give his office a call you'll be glad you did.

I couldn’t be in the actual room with my puppy but the doctor called me while I was outside and told me exactly what was going on and what needed to be done for his health. It was weird not being able to talk to the doctor inside, but he did call and stayed on the phone with me answering all my questions. The girls working there were nice. I don’t know them well enough to judge but they seemed very professional and kind. I can’t complain. For my first experience, this vet hospital gets 5 stars.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Soliman and his entire staff. We have a shelter dog who has major anxiety issues. Several other vets seemed put out by my dog’s behavior and really didn’t want to treat him. But Dr. Soliman and his staff were very patient. I try and avoid the vet as much as possible because of the expense, but Dr. Soliman is not a pushy salesman at all. He is up front with the options and doesn’t suggest any and every test. I will definitely keep him as our vet of choice.

Called seeking an emergency walk-in visit for my , the Friday before a holiday weekend. The woman I spoke to was truly apologetic that they couldn't accommodate us; so much so that she asked for my email and took the time to send me a list of the emergency facilities within 20 miles of my location. She did not have to do this, and I truly appreciated that she did. She helped us tremendously, just from a misplaced phone call in an emergency situation. She had no idea!

So happy to have found Dr. Solomon and his staff! They take care of all my babies and always make them feel right at home. They always take the time to answer questions and explain everything in detail. The office is bright and clean, comfortable environment. If the wait is a little longer than expected it's only because Dr. Solomon and his staff are very one on one with the patients. The love that they have for their patients is very evident.

I can’t thank Dr. Soliman and his team enough. I’ve been coming here for over 6 years and can honestly say I will NEVER go anywhere else. Everyone here is extremely nice, from check-in staff to nurses to doctors! It is very clear that my dog feels safe coming here. The difference between this clinic and others is they never pressure you for unnecessary procedures and their prices are very fair! If you're in search of an amazing vet look no further.

I would first like to say, Dr. Soliman is great and thank you for being gentle with my Lupita. Though very professional, Dr. Sean is very kind to his patients no matter what breed. The staff as well are professional and empathetic to their patients when they are a little anxious in the waiting area. I will be taking Lupita back for upcoming vaccination and regular check-ups. Absolutely love Dr. Soliman and staff! They were all extremely professional, kind to us, and everything was very clean. We have a young Golden Retriever and the staff was so sweet with him and even gave him a treat for being good! Dr. Soliman answered every single question we had thoroughly and patiently, putting my mind and any worries at ease! We will definitely be coming back for the remainder of our visits!

Dr.Soliman and his team are the best. He is both caring and informative. He will explain things in a compassionate manner while also giving you the facts. This is the best vet clinic I’ve ever been to. Dr. Soliman is always present during the visit compared to many other clinics where the main vets are busy and you only see the technician. I'm a new cat owner and having to visit the vet for the first time is a scary proposition, especially when it's not for a well visit. I feel like my cats have gotten superior care here. Misquoted price. Was told 1 price to have my cat looked at then the day before my appointment quoted me a different price. When vet bills r already very high and this place is private to say the very least, consulting fees should be cut and dry with all parties on the same page. Under the circumstances, I had a good experience with this particular animal hospital. The vet, Dr. Soliman was knowledgeable and took excellent care of my fur baby, Maxie! He also spoke to me everyday for over two weeks after her surgery... The staff was pleasant, the whole place was clean. 5 stars all around!! We found ourselves a new vet!!

I have three dogs and i must say as a pet owner for over 20 years I've been to a fair share of veterinary clinics and i must say I'm happy that i found this place. Doctor Solomon is great with my dog and communicating everything to do with my dog. He takes his time explaining what the vaccines are for, the potential side effects and shares reasonable advices. As first time and new pet owner, I recommend coming here for peace of mind and a sense of security.

The vet ( Dr.Shawn) was very attentive to my babies needs. Paid a $68 co-payment which isn't bad at all. Beware the wait is long but I don't mind the wait. I'm very patient, when it comes to my fur baby.
