"Hi"
"Biggest range and best prices for your everyday handy needs"
Where has the old fashioned customer service gone???!!! Just popped in to grab a few items for Christmas decorating. One thing on the list was a tree stand. I walked through the Christmas section where there was a young lady assisting another customer. I wandered in circles waiting for my chance to ask a question yet she disappeared before I got the chance. (Don't know how she missed me. It's a very small section, was clearly hovering and I have pink hair!) I had another good look and after not finding what I was after I headed over to the garden department and approached another 2 young ladies chatting at the checkout. I asked about the stand and one replied bluntly "the Christmas section is up there" and then continued her conversation with her colleague. I interrupted and said I'd already checked there, I saw them online, could you please check on the computer where they might be? I was met with an eye roll then asked if I had a screen shot? Seemed like it was too much effort for these 2 university aged customer service attendants to type into the computer what I was looking for. One went through her phone and was eventually able to tell me they were out of stock of both types but Pymble had some. Reaching the main checkout to pay for the few items I did get I was again met with another university aged girl. No Hello, No how are you today, just "can you move your trolley up?" I had a couple of bags of sand but was busy putting the smaller items on the bench before I did so. Items were scanned and put on the bench for me to collect. I handed over cash for payment. I was full handed putting said items in a bag when my change was shoved in front of me. I tried to grab it while packing my bag but notes went flying. When I asked the attendant to pick my money up from behind her it seemed like I was severely inconveniencing her and was met with yet another eye roll. Staff throughout the rest of the store were mostly of the Uni student demographic. None seem too enthusiastic to help unless absolutely necessary and requested. I noticed many of them blocking ailes having conversations between themselves and not being overly aware or concerned about customers in their areas. Where oh where have the service staff gone that actually have any kind of interest or knowledge of garden, d.i.y and general home handywork gone??
Absolutely fuming, I came to purchase a big expensive item on the 3rd December at 4:15 on the garden centre checkout I was served by the rudest woman I have ever met. I politely asked if she could text me the receipt when she handed me the paperwork and her response was "too late, you should have asked for it earlier" and sheugged her shoulders. I said oh normally on big expensive items the team member asks if we would like it texted to us as the item comes with a 10 year warranty. Her response was "no we don't" to which I responded oh up on the coast it's common practice to which she said "just take a picture" and yelled Next! When I returned my trolley the guy at the door actually had to apologise for her rudeness and offered to take my trolley for me. What the hell is wrong with people these days?! Where is the customer service gone? I was appalled as was the customer behind me, whoever she was needs a talking to.
Do NOT offer a 'click and collect' service if you cannot DELIVER! Covid-19 is challenging for everyone but this experience was appalling! Bought online on Wednesday morning and at 3pm on Friday I still had not received a message that my items were ready for pick up from Bunnings Belrose. I called the store and was promised that it would be picked immediately. When I turned up at the store more than an hour later, the order still had not been picked :(! Lots of staff around but no-one seemed to know what they were doing. They promised the order would be picked there and then only to be told more than 15 minutes later that half of my order was not in stock!!! FIRST and LAST last time I use click and collect. If I had gone on Wednesday most likely I would have been in and out of the store under 10 minutes with my items. So frustrating! I wonder how long it will take for them to refund the items not in stock.
Hi. Th a.nks so much to.Sophie on paint counter Tuesday. I had put.in new kitchen benches backsplash handles sink etc and was advised by someone at bunninhs warringah mall to use an oil based varnish on my raw wooden.bench tops. I said I had.pi k a.white toned wood and only wanted a clear coat to retain the pale colour of wood. I used the oil based varnish satin by monocel. It went bright orange. It was.horrible and very upset was served.by Sophie at belrose paint counter. I.showed all pictures and she was so.helpful and solved.the problem. And showed me.how to fix it. I am.so.thankful to.her as I saw.my new kitchen ruined by the varnish advised to me. Huge thankyou Sophie. It meant so much to me. Kind regards Denise.ps I always shop at belrose bunnings as best advice. Thanks again
Biggest range and best prices for your everyday handy needs. At times you struggle to find the staff member when you need them but if you know what you are looking for shopping is just a breeze. Good place to spend time (of course while shopping for your personal household & maintainance needs) on the weekend with young family. Not to forget the weekend sausage sizzles too (recently the prices have just gone up by a dollar. Now it's $3.50). Great place to shop. Love it. Since Covid-19 a few rules (conditions for entry) have changed, but getting back to pre covid times slowly. Now the Scanning of the QR codes are neither mandatory nor you are required to ware the mask... Do take care while shopping,
Pretty well stocked but when i asked for Phillips Hue light globes the assistant pointed me in the direction of the aisle that had lots of different brands of light globes. I found a few of the type of globes I was after but there wasn't the exact style that I wanted. So I went to the information desk and she said to go and put in a special order at the desk at the far end of the store. On the way there I noticed a display of smart Lighting Systems and on the back side of that display I found lots of Philips Hue light systems and globes. there was the one I was after.
On the 5th of December 2022 I rang up at about 7pm for advice how to deal with a rude manager at the Chatswood store she went above and beyond to help me get a product for the Chatswood store that no one else had in stock and I had a love chat to her and I wish I could had paid her for her time and advice she honestly deserves a pay rise and a promotion. I have been going to the belrose store my whole life and I haven’t complained about that store at all they are so helpful and friendly but the lady today what the absolute best worker to ever help me.
Overall good store with a very wide range of stock but sometimes it can be a bit hard to find exactly what you're looking for in the mayhem. Don't shop there always expecting the best prices is my advice! They will match the difference if you find cheaper somewhere else but they know the majority of us won't be shopping around, thinking they got a good deal there... Also, outside of peak hours it's almost impossible to find a knowledgeable store person to give you an advice or answer a questions, there's only the students left to clean the isles...
I am so impressed with the cleanliness and organization of this neighborhood Bunnings. I’m from the USA and it is very similar to a little store we have called “The Home Depot”. We were easily able to find some little garden lights and some pool salt. The selection of exotic plants was to die for. I hear they have solutions for the common mozzie. I had heard a lot about the sausage sizzle on YouTube and was disappointed to not find any outside on my weekday exploration. The carts are a bit small but it makes sure I keep my purchases in check.
Do NOT use 'drive and collect' service. Followed the instructions to drive and collect the items at the instructed time slot. Waited for more than 50mins to collect when they are not busy (i am the only one waiting at the empty car park). Also had to call the store 3 times to tell them i was there to pick up. In the end found a staff at the car park told him the pickup order to push get the order. Not very happy with service. Do not offer when you cannot deliver!
This is a very solid Bunnings. Good range of flowers and potting soil. They also have a fabulous range of door knobs. I was a bit concerned about the banana peel that had been littered and not cleaned up — as this could have been a tripping hazard but it seemed it had been cleaned up / removed on my subsequent visit. All in all, this is a really good Bunnings which I would recommend to anyone who lives in the area and is looking for hardware / garden supplies.
Was totally embarrassed today at the checkout, I went to use my power pass which I've had for 10 years .the last year I've been using it on my phone in Wallet. And was told I can't use it to get a my discount. I told the lady I used it in this shop at belrose only last month to buy 2 ton of bluemetal and building materials and was told I was lying, i have all the reciepts to prove it .only Miter ten for me know I get 10% on my account there and no card needed
Beware of the huge pot hole at the entrance /exit to the Bunnings at Belrose. It has been there for weeks and still no sign of it being repaired. It could seriously damage your car/wheels or worst still cause an accident as drivers leaving try to avoid it and hit an on coming vehicle. How many near misses are required before Bunnings give due consideration to the safety of all customers and staff by fixing this serious safety hazard.
I have just come to Belrose shop to buy a small tool, Baxter, David and the other young guy in tool shop helped me a lot, patient, friendly and professional customer service, you can not find it in anywhere. They feel even more frustrated than me if they can not help me find the item. Such an amazing shopping experience, I will come here again and highly recommend Bunnings Belrose to my friends. Double
Today, after I finished shopping, I wanted to go to the bathroom before driving, so I asked a short guy standing at the door, wearing a white Bunnings hat, ‘where is the bathroom’, but he replied ‘Are you buy it or use it’, and then he laughed ambiguously with the cashier little girl opposite, obviously this is not a work attitude, neither professional nor polite ~ I feel bad and disappointed
Today on our pretty much weekly visit to Bunnings Belrose my husband wanted a new drill - Ryobi of course. The young man at the power took counter talked to my husband about his usage of the battery system and advised an alternate drill that provided better value for money and a better outcome for my husband. I didn’t catch his name but he was excellent and a real credit to Bunnings. Thankyou
I was told by Bunnings Balgowlah that Bunnings Belrose had 110 packs of sandbags in stock. When I got to Belrose it took ages to find the right section since Bunnings website showed them being located in Aisle 63, which doesn't exist. Then it turned out they had no sandbags anyway. On top of that the car park was horribly crowded. So I had a wasted time consuming trip and left empty handed.
Good service. Lots of products as expected at a Bunnings. All excellent, except the carpark is Terrible. Not the undercover one, but at front of building. It is terribly designed, hard to get into and out of parks and people drive thru fairly quickly so it is high risk to try and pull out even slowly... seems the main road thru is the main road in also.
Bunnings is the home reno version of kmart.. Lowest prices aren't just the beginning.. prepping & priming to get started on the job plus about 50 visits back to bunnings for things you forgot to get the first time because you get distracted and instead of walking out with sand paper you walk out with a new indoor plant that you didn't need
Easily the best Bunnings on the Northern Beaches. Worth the travel even if you're up North or down South on the Northern Beaches. The stock is well managed, and you can find what you're looking for the majority of the time. Staff are friendly and helpful, but not pushy. Parking is a bit tight, especially on busy days, but overall a good Bunnings.
Came in tonight to design a kitchen in store. Niel was superb. Very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions and helped us come up with a perfect design. We really appreciate his help, and are very happy with the design he came up with. Definitely recommend having a chat with Niel if you're in the market for a kitchen.
I was interested in 2 products. Neither of which were accessible on a Friday at 1pm. Whole isle closed and no interest in help. The other product had heavy products placed on the floor in front of it so I couldn’t get to it either. No one would move it either. This is by far the worst Bunnings in the area! Don’t bother
I phoned about availability of a product. The gentleman from Bunnings said it would arrive after lunch and offered to phone me back when it did arrive. True to his word, he did just that! I also received help packing the heavy item into my car. Very impressed with old fashioned, personal service. Good on you Bunnings!
I would give it 5 stars except in winter its freezing and summer stinking hot. They need to aircon the small items area at least. The layout is slightly better than some of the other Bunnings stores. I needed some coach screws for a wood project and they had what I wanted and used the self serve checkout no problems.
Always a good experience going to this store. The staff are friendly and helpful. The parking can get tricky on the weekends. Otherwise happy with the service. And the product line. They seem to have everything in the store when we’ve needed it. Dogs welcome too! In a trolley of course so they don’t get run over!
Huge range of stuff, helpful staff, prices are usually pretty good. Some items seem to stay out of stock for unusually long periods, but otherwise pretty happy with this Bunnings. Very good, no-fuss service on the rare occasions something has gone wrong with an item or I've needed to exchange something.
Best run Bunnings store north of the harbour. I spend around $4000 a month at Bunnings and the customer service, attitude and staff responsiveness is outstanding. Having seen the assistant manager (young guy with a beard) in action motivating his staff and leading by example, Im not surprised.
And absolutely amazingly kept Bunnings very big great selection very helpful staff great prices highly recommend going there for any of your suppliers or needs their very knowledgeable and very helpful and if they don’t have it they will get it very very very happy highly recommend this place
At times it is hard to find someone to assist but then everybody is really helpful. We have done lots of renovations in the last two years so I have been there many, many times. There is always a very lovely and friendly lady at the cafe in the mornings, a good place to have a quick break.
I had a very helpful young lady staff member find items that were not on the shelf for me today. She made the effort to get steps to enable her to reach a box of mixed items. Amongst a range of items was a packet of 10 of the items I wanted. Thank you young lady!
Who doesn't love a hardware store? This is one of the best, a bit overwhelming, but you're going to find it here, if it exists. Probably aisle 25. Helpful staff, convenient toilet, plenty of parking. And pricing is usually noticeably better than the mighty guys.
There is no substitute in the Northern Beaches when it comes to Bunnings locations. There is so much to choose from and the staff are always very knowledgeable and helpful. Really enjoy being able to use the website to find which aisle/bay my item is located.
BIG BUNNINGS ay BELROSE! Everything you'd expect from Bunnings. DIY homemaker supplies and Tradies alike at their famous prices. What's not to like?! The staff as always, are friendly and knowledgeable to boot. I luv these old folk....so wise and practical
This is an amazing place. Every man's man cove moment. Who can walk into such a huge Bunnings warehouse without walking out with something you can't live without. It helps me understand my wife's shopping habits, but then, she has hundred of such stores.
Another Bunnings clone. As usual the massive range is laid out well and everything well signposted. If you've shopped in a Bunnings before you will have no problem finding your way around this store. Enjoy the excellent and knowledgeable service. I do.
I shop at many Bunnings and rate this average. The shelves aren't well stocked and organised. Staff are friendly but not knowledgeable and avoid customers. Trade drive through is poorly managed. If you can get to Dural it's much better there.
Had such an annoying experience with an impossible to work trolley that should have been in the bin instead of our on the floor. Being pregnant and a 40 degree day it was really not ideal. However the guy standing at the door got one of the
The special order desk is a joke of inept staff. General floor staff range from useless to excellent. The paint shop and tool shop are excellent. These two specialist areas could teach the rest of place aad thing or two on customer service
Worst Customer Service ever!! - ordered timber on 25 April for my daughters school project. Today is 22 May. I have received multiple TxT messages advising it will be delivered on a date - then nothing. Just took my $400. When calling them
Went to return an item on Saturday about 3.30pm was greeted by a young lady eating a chocolate bar plus on her mobile... which I had to wait while she finished her mobile call. Was asked if I had the credit card for the purchase.. said No
This is conveniently located in the Austlink corporate Park in Belrose. This warehouse has a big and we'll maintained garden section which is far better than what is available in other Bunnings outlets in the upper North shore area. Same
One of the best Bunnings in the area. Lots of space and great range but prices on some items where there's no that much competition can be expensive. I've been cross checking against Amazon for some items and Bunnings was not that great.
Well my shopping experience was good very helpful staff . But the let down was that I had paid for all my purchases at the tool counter, so when I walked through the entrance there was no one to check my good , the girl was talking to
Nice coffee available in store and the caramel slice goes down very easily too. Good range of hardware and tools. Usually the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable which make those weekend warrior projects less daunting.
It’s not often you find truly knowledgeable help at Bunnings but Declan in electrical at the Belrose store had amazing knowledge of solar panel installation and was able to help me with various wiring questions.
Great Bunnings Parking can be tough in trade I like that it’s one level Has most things that #jplplumbingltd needs A lot plumbing items are cheaper here than plumbing supplies So definitely worth a vist
Great helpful staff,. Mid size store, everything you need is there. If not, just head to the special orders counter , and they can sort you out! Trade brekky is pretty good of the morning as well.
A big thank you to Mark who went out of his way to source a raised garden bed for us and deliver it to our home in his own time. A very professional and helpful supervisor. Bill and Bev T. Avalon
Rude trade desk staff member Thursday 24/11 . Wasnt interested in assisting when I had a simple stock check inquiry. Pathetic customer service skills from what looked to be a senior employee.
Had been some time since I last visited this Bunnings, and to my surprise they have added a Café, whereas my previous visit some 3-4 years ago there was no Cafe. Way To Go Bunnings Belrose.
Bunnings Belrose is the most traddie focused Bunnings in northern Sydney. Thornleigh is light trade only. Half the time their out of stock. Orders take two weeks. Pymble is light weight.
Bunnings is a staple, but I'm finding the quality and range to be getting worse that what it once was. Mitre 10s offer is getting my to drive to Mona Vale more often....
Easy and convenient. New shop layout. More better quality goods on display. Makita is still there and that is important. Good garden section. flowers looking good.
I frequently come here when I need to do some DIY around the house and garden. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and are proactive when they see
Great medium sized Bunnings with friendly, helpful staff. Has a great plant section. Parking ample. Recommend going underground to save yourself some drama.
Ok, we all go to Bunnings, throughout the year, they clear old stock, and prices can be amazing. You won't get those bargains if you don't visit often.
If you are looking for unfriendly staff you are at the right spot. Everyone is "busy" and don't even try to call them 50 minutes is waiting time.....
Five star for Kai in glasses at the exit, kindness and thoughtfulness. Thumbs up for his welling to do attitude of service!!! Awesome! And thank you!
...You can't beat Bunnings for those household supplies or home projects ( if you're lucky on the weekend they have a Sausage Sizzle out front :-)
Very good. All sort of items are prepared. Staff were kind and friendly. Only one thing, it would be better if more staff on floor for help.
It's good, as are all Bunnings stores...however, very dangerous for pedestrians with no safe walkway/crossing to the other shops.
This is a huge Bunnings and has such a big range of products. The staff are always friendly and there do a great bbq hear .
Has everything you need. Some of the staff could be better trained on product locations but that's the worst of it
Great selection. Friendly staff. They are taking great measures to remain Corona safe. Which is to be commended.
Nice and handy place for whatever I need whether it's refilling my chlorine bottles or getting a new lawn mower!
Great place, lots of gear, intelligent staff - my go to store for commodity cordless tools - excellent pricing
It's a bit confusing at first but it's fantastic that there is a Bunnings servicing the Northern beaches
Great day there today thebstaff were very helpful with everything I needed. The snag sanga was good too
Customer service is 0 just like Chatswood store . People are employed just to show up . Sorry 0/10
Very rarely out of stock of the things I need for Reno's. Staff are usually pretty good as well
My second home for all my renovation projects. All the nits and bobs for fiddling repairs.
Everything you need for the house and garden under 1 roof , staff helpful
Good bunnings, had what I wanted, however better bunnings in the area.
Staff are always helpful & knowledgable. And they are dog friendly!
Lots of stuff but hard to get anyone to give assistance.
Great prices helpful easy parking ️ …
Massive store, plenty of parking.
Great products, helpful stuff.
Big store so many options.
