Their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. We went yesterday to buy a dog bed they have listed in stock in this store. We arrived at 6:55PM assuming the store closes at 9PM like the one in Chatswood. The old man in between the aisles told us they didn't have any dog beds (after 4 attempts to explain to him what we were after and looking at his face of "eh?"..common, this guy needs to go back to customer service 101!). He clearly lied to us because he wanted us to leave. We were treated as if we knew they were closing soon instead of giving us a friendly reminder that the store was closing in 5 mins like any other store on earth. They also told us they were about to lock our car in the garage....seriously? Stop assuming and start providing good customer service.
Very handy local hardware store that has been in Narrabeen for decades. They are a medium size store in comparison to the other Bunnings warehouses but do stock a very reasonable range of items for the DIY handyman or tradesman alike. If you are anything like me, you do multiple trips to the store while doing home handyman jobs, so the close proximity of the store is really appreciated. The parking area is not big but I never have had a problem finding a place to park. Mostly anything basic hardware can be purchased here but if you need a larger range to choose from or something special, non standard or tricky, then a trip to the larger Bunnings warehouse at Belrose is recommended.
Unfortunately this local Bunnings have a very unhappy, unprofessional team of staff who hate their jobs, primarily. Whether its the paint dept. who tell you they know nothing about paint but also tell you they're 'paid $24 an hour so what do you expect'?! Or the guys in wood depot who mope around resenting serving you, this shop and its dreadful service have been like this for YEARS. Advice? Go to Belrose where you will find a much happier and more professional team who don't resent working. HR, please crack the whip on training and giving good Customer Service. This shoddiness can't go on.
Big things come in small packages. Ok so, it’s not like a warehouse but you can get most things you need. If they don’t have it they will do the best to help out and redirect to you to a store that does. Polite, professional and helpful. The team on paints and gardening take service to the next level with attention to detail and the sharing of helpful knowledge. Of course they don’t have all the answers but they give it their best shot, and have even been known to whip out a mobile and giving it a good Google. BTW….Internet reception in store is shocking
Absolutely love this place. Great attitude from the staff and huge selection for what is now a small Bunnings. Having Devitts across the road is an added bargain. Please never close it or we will have no good hardware place in the Northern section of the Northern Beaches, other than the yucky trades based outlets that just see you as "not one of them" therefore stupid.
I will never ever shop at Bunnings Narrabeen again whilst the current manager is employed there I had a problem with an item I wanted to return the staff member and the manager were both so rude and dismissive of my concerns I would encourage all beaches residents rather than shop at Bunnings Narrabeen drive to Belrose for A much better shopping experience
Very awful Bunning Store in New South Wales, recommend anybody not entering this small Bunning Narrabeen Store. Poor customer service and check-out. No any mobile or signal coverage when communicating somebody. Bunning Narrabeen Store is not curry out the fair trading policy and cheating to the customer in price. 0 Star can given.
They dont always have what you want. Sometimes its easier to go strait to Belrose as you know they will have it. Phone before you go to make sure what you want is in stock. Parking can be a bit difficult on busy days but if this is the case you can go strait onto the roof as most people dont seem to know about this.
Friendly staff, doesn't always have what you need but that's a given due to the size of the store. Belrose is about 20 minutes away and is huge. Only bad thing is that the driveways in and out of the carpark - they need to be concreted again, they're so deep your car will bottom out if you drive quickly into it.
I generally find this Bunnings pretty good, but pretty unimpressed with the rude voicemail I received from a woman today telling me my tree is overdue for collection and will be donated to charity if I don’t collect it. I’ve been out of town since Thursday when she first called to advise it’s ready.
I always shop at Bunnings Narra with no issues but last Sunday 18/12 I had a less desirable experience with a very cranky lady that was extremely rude!!! ( she was wearing xmas tee - info desk 02) she was annoyed serving me and clearly bring her job- You work in customer service smile and be kind!
This has to be the worst Bunnings in Australia. Every time I have been there over the last year they seem to be severely understaffed because it is almost impossible to find anyone. When you do find someone they are rude and unhelpful, and dont seem to know where within the store anything is.
It's disappointing because I wanted to like this store but with its limited selection and high prices it justifies going to the belrose store due to the belrose store's larger selection, cheaper prices and kinder staff. I really think this is a wasted opportunity that could have been better
Bunnings puts on the best Easter Disco the kids always have so much fun. We have been going to them for that past three years and they are always slightly different but fun and engaging for the kids with free crafts, rides, food, drinks and the forever awesome DJ KitKat.
Such great service. Went above for the customer journey when my items turned out not to be available. Great communication from click to collect. Customers are all to quick to complain, and never say thank you. So here is my thank you to them. Cheers team Narrabunnings!
I do try and avoid this Bunnings. The store suffers from limited shelf space compared to the much larger Bunnings stores. It would be simple to solve if they focused on variety rather than using shelf space for 50 different shovels ( exaggeration but you get the idea )
I am a frequent visitor to this Store and the service is usually OK, today the service from the assistant on the paint counter was outstanding his knowledge of the products along with a polite, good humoured manner made it a pleasure to do business with.
This place has been here for ages and is unlike many other Bunnings quite small in comparison. Choice is limited and many of the things you would expect to buy at this chain are not here. Plenty of pool and outdoor supplies but not a lot of indoor stuff.
For many needs, this is good. However, theres lots of things you'll ask for and theyll say "ah, you'll have to go to Belrose for that." Its a much smaller store than Belrose but location is convenient if youre in Narrabeen. Staff friendly and helpful.
Shout out to Paul at Bunnings, Narrabeen. A seemingly simple task (fitting a new hose reel) was more involved than anticipated. Customer service over and above expectations. Thankyou for your expertise, kindness and assistance. So very appreciated.
Terrible customer service, i live 2 mins away and drive to belrose . Don't know but staff are a reflection of higher up management or mismanagement. I know staff shortages lately but this store has had terrible customer service for many years....
Called there at 3.00 pm as school comes out and there are no parking spaces for builders gardener's etc due to parents parking there to pick up there kids . Bunnings put an employee on the gate and control the parking. Very disappointed gardener
Great for me as it is close to home, so easy if I know what I need and I know they have stock. Sometimes limited on stock and don't have a big selection. I go to larger stores if I want to browse for something new or get ideas for projects.
Waited at check out and all 6 people were ignored while staff were trying to fix one of three terminals they could have used. Said nothing to any of us, eventually serving us on one terminal and then opening another checkout. At least 6
On the small scale compared to balgowlah and Belrose, limited parking, which can get a bit tricky when the delivery trucks arrive, wide range of stock, majority of the staff are friendly, there are two women here who let the team down,
There was a staff member that was really helpful in regards to weed killer advice. There is a team member on the service desk that is rude, slightly aggressive and unhelpful. Will not be visiting this Bunnings again because of this.
Website said replacement shovel handle was in store. Went to store, and it wasn’t there. Ask a staff member, who was irritated by my question, and told me to go to Belrose as they don’t stock them. Made me feel like a nuisance.
Generally a pretty good store with a few grumpy members (ok,1 At the paint counter) but a great secret stash in a box on the top shelf in the back right corner of Kreg tools and quality clamps not usually seen in bunnings.
Every customer in front of us had to have a phone call made to check the price on their product as the price was wrong. The outdoor house was unstaffed. The staff are nice. Lots of products and paint matching. Toilets.
Parking is ridiculously stupid, they have pallets in parking spots trucks in driveway blocking carparks also truck stop me from backing out ask him to move but would. Maybe they need to think there delivery times.
Handy for most purchases. Sometimes better to phone first to see if they have what your after before making the trip. Belrose being a warehouse has a bigger range and products Narrabeen don't even stock.
Can't begin to tell you how wonderful, helpful and above and beyond the amazingly people at Bunnings Narrabeen are. Brilliant. Can't recommend them highly enough. Professional and kind. Many many thanks.
What a grumpy lot of employees. Not keen to help. Quite rude actually. Of course I left the store without everything I needed. Anyway, the good news is that Mitre 10 up the road we’re happy to help.
Considering the size don’t expect them to have everything you find at a larger Bunnings. In general they are helpfully and you can find most basic things. Parking at busy times can be a challange.
A fairly small Bunnings that’s not as well stocked as the bigger ones but given its location it’s a great place to pick up a last minute item or get some garden stuff. Parking is good.
Really great has most things you need, this bunnings is a bit on the small side but at least it makes it easier to find stuff because of that! Customer service is good as well!
Favourite go to in the beaches. Staff are friendly and always great to deal with. Thanks for opening the trade roller door for me late in the afternoon last Sunday. …
Great little bunnings awesome sausage sizzle on weekends. Smaller range of stock due to a smaller store. Just check stock online before you go if you need something specific.
Smallish store. Make the effort to go to Belrose. It's a much better lay out. I can never find anyone here to answer a question..which isn't your normal bunnings experience.
Good for the odd item however if you're after something specific check the website as they aren't huge, you may need to go to Belrose. Click and Collect is a disaster.
The people here were very helpful to me, I was in and out with my new lawnmower in no time. Very reasonably priced too. Would definitely tly recommend this bunnings.
Unless you know it's in stock at Narrabeen go somewhere else. They don't carry all the items due to the small size of the store and parking is a challenge most days
Great hardware store. Great northern beaches location. Large range, for the size of the premises. Parking may look small, but there is always the rooftop
Being a smaller Bunnings the range is restricted. Also can pretty hard to find stuff as it is a bit of a labyrinth. Timber department is pretty good.
Small bunnings store, range not great, typical bunnings staff, dont know what they have, you need to look dor it yourself or trip over it to find it.
Really helpful, especially as an older woman who often needs advice. The Bunnings Narrabeen staff always go to extra effort to be really helpful.
Nice and handy for me I always check stock availability before shopping it's not a huge store but usually has what I want. Great hours too.
A great "little Bunnings." Though it's smaller than others, it has never failed me to have the hardware I need. Thumbs up from me. …
A smaller than your average Bunnings so I wasn’t surprised they didn’t have the two items I found at a bigger Bunnings store.
Good experience here. It is a smaller store and so they don't stock everything and stock levels can be low at times.
Very helpful staff. Well stocked. Good range of So It Yourself things. Really reasonable prices. Easy to park.
Went into the gardening section, not helpful at all.surprising as most staff at Bunnings are usually friendly.
Jess helped me heaps today. Best customer service I’ve had! So sad to hear she’s leaving.
Staff are lovely but store is small, check what stock they have before making the trip
Nice store, friendly staff that get the jobs done, and are approachable.
Its a bunnings express bit of a lottery if they have what you need.
Thanks to Jenny for her friendly service and product knowledge!
It's a smaller Bunnings but it does what a Bunnings does.
Smaller store, good for the 'pop in'
The staff were really rude
