I bought a pair of Flip Flop shoes in December for R1699. Within 2 weeks the buckle on top broke.. Took it back and received a replacement pair on 15/1/2022. On Sunday I took them out of cupboard to wear as it was a relatively warm day. I noticed both shoes had a 2 to 3 cm tear where the parts were joined. I took it back yesterday. Bear in mind shoes was locked away for approximately 4 months during winter period. Received a call today from them saying I "overworn" it. Really!?!?? I work from home and sit at a desk for the whole day!! And actually the soles are still in perfect condition. Basically only worn the Flip flops for 4 months. Now I HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK TO SUPPLIER MYSELF!? Where is the so-called guarantee on the products? Absolutely disgraceful service. Pathetic to say the least.

I rate Burtons 5/5 based on my recent interaction / purchase at their store. We somehow walked straight passed the store, so when I phoned for directions the sales lady (Manageress?) came out of the shop to meet me in the hallway! They didn't have what I was looking for on the system, so she went and looked for my size at the back anyway. Came back with my size and because it was older stock it cost less than what I would have paid online for them - well done Burtons!

Bought a pair of very expensive shoes. They then started coming loose at the bottom after a couple months. Contacted the shop and they promised it tk be replaced only for them to ingore their promise.
