The two young women working the cash register in the front of the store at 5:25pm on 10/09/20 were particularly rude and not helpful when I asked for help with the Moneygram machine that seemed to be malfunctioning. I won’t be back and even though was a non-pharmacy matter, I’ll be transferring any prescriptions on file in the pharmacy to Walgreens down the street. I live one block away and I’ve been a CVS Pharmacy and and CVS Specialty Pharmacy customer for years and I have a CVS Care Plus membership that I pay a monthly revolving fee for. Staff in the store should work in a cohesive manner to offer customer service to all people instead of laughing and giggling on their phones and rolling their eyes and talking about hair wigs. Now I’m tasked with driving all the way to Walmart on Tchoupitoulas to complete my transaction because your employees were unprofessional and unhelpful.
My b and I Got off work and went straight to CVS this afternoon for a couple things, Only to have not one, not two, but THREE employees follow my boyfriend (who’s black, and was wearing a bright orange work short to sadly justify his employment) up and down isles, to where my boyfriend got SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND DID NOT WANT THEM TO THINK HE WAS STEALING, walked over to me until I was ready to check out. My boyfriend left feeling degraded and humiliated. I will never spend my money here nor do I recommend . Horrible customer service and horrible judge of character. If I could leave -5 stars I would. Shame on you.
I only have frustrating experiences at this pharmacy. The drive-thru line takes FOREVER (like 10 min for every person in line ahead of you). Staff are rude. I get text messages that my prescriptions are ready to pick up but when i go get them, they are not ready. I arrived for a COVID vaccine and flu shot 15 min before the pharmacy closed at 7 but was turned away because they “stop doing vaccines at 7”. When i pointed out it was not 7 yet, i got a blank stare. I’m signing up to have my prescriptions mailed to me through my insurance. I hope i never have to come back to this pharmacy.
I am SO sick of dealing with this pharmacy. They are either CONSTANTLY calling me about auto filling prescriptions I don’t need..... or claiming to be out of those I do need. I’ve worked in pharmacies for years. I’m well aware of the “we’re out of that” routine..... particularly when you don’t even take the time to pretend to check either your inventory or my child’s records. As a customer who fills several prescriptions a month for three members of our family, it’s beyond insulting. We will most definitely be transferring elsewhere.
I have been to multiple CVS pharmacies and none of them compare to this Carrollton location . The pharmacy staff is amazing . They are so friendly and helpful . They are really dedicated to giving the best customer service . I find this is incredible , they can give such good customer service while husling and tackling mountains mountains of prescription baskets . All the other Cvs I’ve been to the staff is rude and won’t give u the time of day . Thank you Carrollton staff ! Keep up the good work !
Bought a $300 gift card here and they could not provide me the receipt (which was necessary), they told me to come back the next day to get it, I called the store the next day to tell them I would not be able to make it in until the next day and to hang on to the receipt. Came in the next day and they had given the receipt away to the wrong person. refused to refund my card, now I have invested 300$ into something I cannot use or refund. Worst store experience I have ever had.
I made an appointment to get a flu shot at 7:00 p.m. at the pharmacy, and when I turned up at 6:55 p.m. I was told that I can't get a flu shot because the pharmacist quits giving them at 7:00 p.m. when I asked why I could make an appointment for 7:00 p.m., I was told that the broad CVS system doesn't know individual pharmacists' schedules. Sounds like a broken system to me that doesn't put customers first. Happy to do my vaccines and shopping elsewhere.
We showed up a little early for our Covid test and were told “we just got back from lunch, can you come back later?”. Like, what does that have to do with anything? So frustrating after waiting in the drive through line for the appointment (which we timed to sit In the drive through line so that we’d be on time for our appointment.. we just happened to be a bit early). My husband just drove off but I would have said “absolutely not”. Terrible service.
CVS-555 Carrolton has the most caring and professional pharmacist! I remember having an issue with a cashier who tried to brush my concerns on my refills’ new brand/change and the Pharmacist ( I believe it was) heard and came up to the forefront to assist. From making sure that the correct brand name my doctor requested is noted in my CVS record to following up on side effects by calling on a particular medication.....they care! Kudos to Ann☑️
I called to schedule a vaccine appointment because the online scheduling portal is down. The person who answered the phone told me in the same breath that an appointment is needed, but she wont schedule it and I can try an walk in, but they are not accepting walk-ins. I asked for further clarification and the person told me they are slammed and hung up on me. I expect more from the company that I trust with my prescription and medical needs.
I was surprised to see some of these reviews because my experience with the pharmacy here has been good. I always seem to manage arriving at 125pm and their lunch break is at 130. They have helped me with my pickup even at 129pm. And are done at 130! The only issue I've ever had is when my insurance denies the prescription when the dosage has changed and they have to resubmit it and I come back about 20-60min later. They've been good to me.
I was very pleased with this store. I got a great bottle of bourbon-barrel-aged red wine for a very good price. I have been hearing that Covid rapid response tests can be hard to come by, but I could’ve gotten all I wanted for $10 apiece. Candie at the cash register was a marvel of customer service skills and multitasking. She effortlessly greeted and made welcome several different customers at the same time. She made it look like a dance.
i'm so glad grateful for this cvs opening up. it's the best drug/convenience store in the neighborhood by far. the product selection and variety is great. i fill a lot of prescriptions and the pharmacists at this store are some of the best i've dealt with. so much so that i moved all my prescriptions to this store from a different places. i am also always greeted by the cashier, which isn't necessary but definitely takes it up a notch.
Charged me $11 for a 2 dollar tube of toothpaste. When I questioned it, her response was "Well that's just CVS's prices". Spent a while trying to convince her that she charged me for a 3-pack, but explaining this to a sack of potatoes would have been easier. Checked my receipt after, and even with the silly rewards card, I was still over charged for every single item. The cashier's horrible attitude is what made everything worse.
Just because you have self check out doesn’t mean you can’t check me out. There were TWO employees standing at the front chatting and eating snacks and claimed they could not check me out when I specifically asked them to. Like what do you get paid for? Clearly not CUSTOMER service if I’m putting money into the store and checking myself out. Plus there was someone at self checkout.
There was a combative man attempting to direct the line flow by yelling and waving his hands around. No one knew exactly what he meant except that he was threatening and belligerent. He also said 5 people could come in and when I got in no one was in the store. He needs help counting to 5 and he needs manners...good ones. Maybe he needs another job.
Took 20 minutes to get someone to answer the phone. They told me they couldn’t make my prescription because they were going to close in an hour. Asked them to transfer my prescription to the 24 hour cvs. They told me they would but never did that so I had to wait another hour at that cvs for them to fill my prescription.
Terrible corporate "citizen" with nobody paying attention to the storefront cleaning. This photo was taken at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. It's disgusting. If your customers buy items, use them, then throw them on the ground, it is your responsibility to pick up after them. You made the $$$, now pick up the litter.
From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcoming greeting. Anytime I had any questions through out my shopping experience the worker was very informative. Brittni in the pharmacy was very nice. She had a smile on her face the whole time! Will make this my primary store. :)
The young gentleman that answers the phone is very rude. He caught an attitude with me over the phone and had the audacity to put me on hold with no notice just because he didn’t want to take my call or do his job. Sorry to inconvenience you. We just need our medicine, not the attitude.
This rating is for the pharmacy only. Awesome people behind the counter on both of my visits (I am new here), and they even slotted my in just before their lunch break, when they really didn't have to, because they realized I was in need my meds. Thank you!
Every time I try to use the drive through, people are parked at the window for so LONG. They do not manage the window as a drop off/pickup only. Apparently you can just sit and wait for Rx to be filled, etc. I try my best to never use this CVS due to this
Staff very helpful and friendly. The Pharmacy employees and the pharmacy. Pharmacist always is helpful in education of,consumers in medication Giving the consumer, very good and clear explaination of. Taking meds as prescribed by your doctor. …
I hate this pharmacy so much. Clearly the most inept employees that have no clue what they are doing. The phone system is terrible and cuts out half the time, they don't contact you to tell you your prescriptions are ready EVER. A useless mess.
I was here on vacation and forgot my meds at home, and the pharmacy staff here was super helpful communicating with both me and my home pharmacy over several phone calls and a fax to get my prescription filled. Thank you so much, everyone!
WORST PHARMACY EVER! IVE VEEN WITHOUT MY WEEKLY MEDICATION FOR 3 WEEKS. I THOIGHT THE L.C.SIMON STORE WAS HORRIBLE BUT THESE GUYS ARE WORST. AN ABOMINATION!!!!! !HORRIBLE!!!! ID GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS IF IT WOULD LET ME.
They don't sell death sticks. A pharmacy should not sell products designed to give their customers cancer, CVS is amazing! Thia location does have amazing staff. They are hardworking, caring and they know their stuff.
Pharmacist is extremely rude, and needs training on how to communicate with customers. I had three different interactions with her, and all were horrible. I wish I knew her name so I could call corporate.
Pharmacist (Mallory ?) is very compassionate, knowledgeable and personal. Excellent service. Store is new, clean and quite different than other CVS stores. Felt more like a neighborhood pharmacy.
Dreadful pharmacists. It seriously is frightening that these are the people responsible for filling medications. The incompetence and apathy is ridiculous. Please don’t go here.
They have beautiful postcards!!! ($0.19 each) and stamps! They are also within driving distance of a local post office. If you're a traveler, this is your place to go.
The pharmacy intentionally gives you the runaround. Well, they could check other locations. This particular location refuses to cooperate with their customers.
Cashier Ireon was amazing. She was managing two registers and self check out . Very polite and even under pressure was friendly . She needs a raise !!!
Went there to get superglue. Came out with a receipt so long that I could likely assist in the rescue mission for the sunken Titan (Titanic submarine)
They have a lot of good stuff and they are quite friendly and professional. One of the best CVS I have been to. 5 or 10 stars in my book
It's still fairly new but, I love the employees here. And they have updated products stocked.
Poor service slow line’s horrible pharmacy …. Would not go here …. Find somewhere else to go
This CVS is Super Clean and Organized the staff is always helpful. Best CVS !! …
Unhelpful pharmacists. I have two last names and they can never find my prescriptions
Thanks for fixing my prescription. I had no more refills and they called my doctor.
Always where I go to buy inexpensive liquor and chocolate covered almonds.
Everytime I call them they put me on hold for 20 minutes or more.
I was very pleased with the kind and helpful service at CVS.
Friendly staff that always greets you at the door
