This place is interesting to say the least Firstly I would like to say the service by the staff was outstanding. Our waiters were more than happy to help and were prompt and cheery. However, I have much sympathy for the conditions that they have to work in. The floor was stupidly slippery regardless of the wet floor signs the floor was dry. Upon entering I looked like a cartoon character skidding before they go to run. Members of my party slipped over countless times even after they got back up. 2 poor waiters slipped whilst HOLDING FOOD dropping the meals this ruining their evenings. No apologies made by any staff to our party. It was very dangerous and I cannot recommend bringing elderly family here as it is just not safe. Lastly the food was average at best. The lamb was dry and the chicken was too oily. It lacked flavour and was unfortunately very under seasoned. I would love to say I'd come back but certainly will not as it's dangerous and food is of average quality. My advice is to get take away from here and for the waiters to find other jobs as I can guarantee they are not being paid above minimum for these terrible conditions.

3.5 stars Speaking to the $20 weekday deals: they are worth it most of the time - seeing as you are seated in a nice atmosphere and have a complimentary drink and side. Each time I have the lamb gyros however, I leave a little disappointed as it tastes more so like a sunday roast lamb rather than a greek-marinated one. The chicken is also dry maybe 30% of the time. Nonetheless, Garlic Prawns dish is incredible here as well as the sauce+rice it comes with. The chips are okay here. Bit pricey outside the weekday schedule but I do look forward to trying all the items on the $20 menu.

Came in with family, 2 mins after being seated waiter was on our head to order and amongst that I ordered chicken Parma not realising not to add ham in it. I requested another chicken Parma without the ham , waiter said I’ll have to pay which I didn’t t mind. But instead they made me wait 5 mins for another Parma and sent me back the same one which had ham previously on it but on the other half. it was the same with ham coz I had already made a cut on it previously .so they served me with the same chicken Parma .. if you don’t want your food to be messed with, I suggest don’t go to Cafe Greco as the chef and the waiters can’t be trusted.. I would like to give them No Stars but there’s no option..

Served lamb cutlets burnt meat and the tall guy wearing specs of asian appearance failed to replace my meal. Poor customer service, lack of acknowledgement and respect shown saying directly to me that he cannot do anything about it. I paid $44 for the meal including the soft drink and was treated in a bad way. Never ever going there again. Lodged a complaint with Watergardens centre management and I am willing to report to the current affair and put on social media about the bad experience and below par food that was served to me. I paid $44 for the meal with burnt meat. I walked off in utter disgust. Absolutely pathetic customer service and never going there again.

First let me preface my partner’s meal was delicious however served not hot. We waited nearly 45 minutes (to be honest, not overly busy) to get our meal. I received my beef Wagyu burger which looked scrumptious, but that’s where it ended. It was dry and tasteless. My chips were served with two sauces so I used them and slathered onto the bun to try and help, but it didn’t. I hate wasting food, but on this occasion I left over half of it behind as (to me - and my opinion only) it was inedible. We have been to this restaurant before and enjoyed the meal, so I’m hoping it was an off night.

The $15 lunch specials is a great and affordable way to get people in the door. The lamb in the gyros wrap was to die for. The lamb was very flavoursome. The pita bread was lovely and thick. The tzatziki was lovely and obviously made in-store because you can taste the difference, only issue was i would have liked more of it in the wrap. The chips were not amazing but they were still quite enjoyable. The man who served us was not very friendly which took away from the overall experience. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. Will be back again!

This is a Mediterranean cafe that can not be missed in this area. We ordered the seafood platter for two, a meatball as entree, and a chicken souvlaki. Everything was so yummy and in a great amount. Every seafood lover should order the platter, first of all, the freshness of it was evident, from shrimp to fish, a perfect selection. The staff was nice and friendly, creating a perfect setting for a delightful meal. Can’t wait to return to try more of their delectable dishes.

They were so hard and not nice to eat. For the price you pay youd expect far better The other food was great parma cooked perfect chips again garbage. The mussakka? My wife had was amazing. The chicken pizza was great. Stand out was the meat skewers from the entree. Perfect cooked and spiced. Overall great. Just need to learn to cook chips.

Great service by the staff. Had the $20 lunch special garlic prawn with jasmine rice + lemon squash. The food was nice and really tasty, came in super hot. The serving portion's good as well, the prawns though were on the smaller scale, so only getting 5 prawns might not be enough for some to finish the rice that comes with it especially if you are after the prawn rather than the rice. The sauce, however, was amazing. The place wasn't too busy when we came in so it was a bit quiet which was nice for an early lunch.

Although the steak & calamari were really delicious (honestly 10/10) & had great portions, the cleanliness let us down. My glass had someone else’s lipstick still on it and had a straw when my partners didn’t so I don’t even know if the straw was used too. The toilets were so smelly and dirty we couldn’t end up using them. When we told the waiter about the dirty glass, we were just told “sorry about that” and the balance of our meal to pay. That’s it. First time coming here & will be our last unfortunately.

Went for a meal there with family yesterday. We couldn’t say 1 thing was cooked well or tasted good. Steak was extremely chewy, burger patty was raw, skewers were dry and Parmajana was raw and dry. Something was horribly wrong with the kitchen staff. When we pointed it out they said sorry can’t do anything the kitchen is closed. When we asked for a feedback form the waitress said they are out of feedback forms. The manager didn’t have the decency to come and find out what would we like to say... Never again

I would not recommend at all it’s meant to be a Greek restaurant the food is cooked by Indian guys, I got the mixed meat platter the chicken was dry the lamb was chewy and to top it off in my Greek salad I found bugs, would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as I wouldn’t want anyone to have the experience I had and pay for something below average

Firstly just wanna say - the seafood linguini was nice. It had a nice heavy kick of chilli and the pasta and seafood were mixed in well. The kids fish n chips were a bit disappointing. Not seasoned and no sauce or aoili. The chicken souvlaki pizza was borderline average. The chicken was dry and the dough was way under cooked and with the other toppings, it was just a soggy mess. Bit of a let down sorry to say.

It's the place you go for Greek if you don't want to travel into the CBD or Oakleigh I was craving saganaki after lockdown and was so let down It used to come out hot and melting so delicious normally Was cold and hard this time So disappointing Not as clean as I would like and my Pepsi was warm with no ice. Service was quick so in and out. Only go if you don't want to travel for Greek food .

Had lunch 3rd May 23 had lamb rap and chips $20.included one drink of wine or soft drink. The lamb was dry and a bit burnt 2 pieces of lettuce a a piece of tomato. I had about 3 mouthful and left it. Can be hit and miss. Their burgers when done right taste absolutely phenomenal, however it often turns up with the meet very overcooked. Serving portions are good though and staff are generally very friendly and helpful. Recently I ordered a Parma and it was quite good! Cooked well, tasty sauce, good serving size. Overall a good restaurant, just a shame they can't get that beef burger consistent.

Absolutely will never return to this place. Made a booking had to go in and leave a deposit. I specifically asked him for 1 table for 15 we get there and we are on separate tables. So he then tries to squish us onto a table for 10. Terrible waitress service, everytime you need to order something you have to go and get them. Food was nothing but average. Terrible restaurant.

I attended this venue as a mother's group. 6 women with prams is a hard ask and we couldn't find anywhere to enjoy our catch up. However the staff here were happy to rearrange tables to accommodate us and our babies, our order was taken promptly, food and drink came quickly, food portions and taste were also good, the Cafe was clean and calm. What more could we ask for :)

Met a friend for lunch today and decided to go to Cafe Greco, SO glad we did! I ordered the lamb wrap lunch special and the lamb was the nicest I have had in a very long time! Absolutely delicious! My friend had a latte and a greek salad and bruschetta, very generous portions and very tasty! Even the coffee latte was excellent! Would recommend to anyone!

Cafe Greco is one of our go to local restaurants for Greek food. The portion sizes are fairly big, so great for big appetites! The vibe of the place is friendly and family orientated. Our waiter was very polite and professional. A great place for a meal if you plan on going to the Hoyts Cinema right next door. I can certainly recommend this restaurant.

The food and service are amazing here! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the gyros were enviable. We went here on a whim and now can’t wait to go back. The staff were so friendly and prompt, the only slight complaint I’d have is they should correctly advertise desserts, the tiramisu was more like a cheesecake, other that everything was great

The steak here is always perfect no matter what cut you get. Be sure to try the mushroom sauce as it is a must, the mushroom sauce is so good that I base every other mushroom sauce from elsewhere on this. The service is typically great however they do get those days where you wait a while to be served but it is worth the wait.

Amazing food. We got 3 mains (Vegie Penne, Mediterranean Lamb Shank and 300gm Porterhouse), 2 sides (Bruchetta and garlic and cheese pizza), and 3 drinks. All were fantastic. Quick service, friendly staff, reasonable price. Bella took care of us, she was an incredible staff. Been here a few times, never disappoint

I had a $50 dinner there but, they couldn't give me a 15 cents bag for free for take away as I didn't have a coin, or they didn't swipe card for an amount less than $10. And they were okay with me carrying the food without a bag. Losing a future customer over 15 cents, now that's a unique way to lose a customer.

Cafe Greco is a very nice place ti catch up with friends. The food is great and the price is very reasonable. The staff are very friendly. They also serve wines and beers. On certain nights they have a $15 menu and there is a great selection. They include a drink with this offer too. Its very good value.

Every time I eat here the did is delicious, the service is wonderful. Family feel. Love it. See you when your renovations are complete.

Food came out super fast but thats about it! The chicken was bland and as dry as you could get. No flavour at all in the meat. The bread was burnt and dry, the garden salad was still growing as the tomatoes were still green! Apart from that the hommus was nice. I spent $27 on a meal that was inedible.

Went for dinner on a Friday night. Was able to book a table a few hours before. Lovely food (there were three of us and we all enjoyed our meals -salt and pepper calamari, pasta and a chicken burger). Also lovely bruschetta. Great service, food came out quickly and reasonably priced . Will be back :)

Always fantastic food, we have been going to Cafe Gecco a lot over the past few years. The chilli king prawn and garlic king prawn entrees are amazing and the lamb shanks for main course are totally mouth watering and large generous servings. Love this place I wish I could give more than 5 stars

This place does a great job of food and coffee. Honestly stopped driving in all the way into City after this mob. Been plenty of times. Last time was on a Saturday night and they were FLAT out. Standard did drop a bit but forgivable as they were full house. Suggest a weeknight to visit!

We ordered lamb Gyro and Rib Eye steak. Paid $47 for this steak. This is one of the worst steaks I have ever tried in my life. Meat’s not fresh, too fatty and too chewy. I’ll never come back again ‍

It was hard to decide what to eat as i couldnt find much on their facebook / instagram page. I chose the tzatziki lamb pizza and i was not dissapointed! Others got the steak but said it was too plain. The long islands are not expensive as well!
