Nice spot nestled between the busy Cahill expressway and circular Quay Wharf. Unfortunately, you can't see the bridge and the opera house completely (due to hotels near the opera house) - you'll need 3 different photo shots of the city (which also doesn't come in one camera angle), the harbour bridge and the opera house. Perhaps that's the reason it's not popular with tourists and I saw people go down the lift immediately after reaching the expressway.

The elevator is behind Cafe Gigi. Unless you know about it, you won't know that it heads up to amazing views across Circular Quay and Harbour Bridge. Highly recommend going up here as the sun is setting so you get the contrast between day and night. Around New Years 2022, they closed this stretch of motorway and converted it into a concert space. Tickets to this were free - bonus! Was seriously cool! Glad I got the chance to experience this.

An excellent place to come and look at Circular Quay which is located inside Sydney Harbour. The lookout is accessible from the eastern end of Circular Quay by taking the lift above the railway line or by foot from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the path located near the ‘Northern Gate’ of the Royal Botanic Gardens. There’s also a staircase that can be accessed from the eastern side of the Quay. Great views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

A great, accessible and FREE lookout point perched above Circular Quay Railway station. To access this superb viewpoint, walk to the eastern corner of Circular Quay and take the glass walled lift (elevator) up to the Cahill Expressway walkway. It provides brilliant views out over Sydney Harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. And it's not only free but accessible at any time of day.

Picture postcard views of Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour and Harbour Bridge from this location. Not as well known as other harbour viewpoints this spot is never crowded. Starting at the Art Gallery of NSW you can walk through the Botanic Gardens, past the Opera House and over the Bridge to Milsons Point without needing to cross any roads, a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

It would be so much nicer if one installed along the whole walk those transparent fences to block the noice from cars. At the moment those fences are only by the lookout, where you really hear the difference they make.

An interesting walk to complete early in the morning before the city wakes up. Kirribilli markets also there on Sundays. Just adds variety to regular walks. The walk is accessible for wheelchairs or people with mobility concerns due to the available lifts. Coffee shops either end of the walk.

A local favourite place to shoot the Sydney Harbour. Also one of the best places to enjoy the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. You can avoid the crowd during Vivid Festival if you watch from here. To get here, take the lift near Pier 2 to Cahill Expressway.

Fabulous location for viewing and photographing the Harbour Bridge; Circular Quay and the Rocks without being crushed by crowds. There's a lift available for easy access which is worthwhile to help anyone seeking to clear your head and find inner peace...

Great vantage point for a view of the harbour area. During vivid 2023 drone shows, patiently arriving 40 minutes early paid off after seeing the shoulder to shoulder crowds below. During non drone moments it's not busy at all and an elevator helps too.

Doskanale miejsce. Bardzo ladne widoki do podziwiania. Miejsce starannie przygotowane, zadasxone czesciowo, laweczki, opisy. Napewno warto tam zajrzec. Dodatkowym atutem jest mozliwosc dostania sie tam winda. Duzy plus dla osob niepelnosprawnych.

Truly, hidden gem ! I’ve driven past the walkway and the look out thousands of times without realising it was there. It offers a different view and perspective of the rocks and circular Quay. Well worth the short walk.

Amazing views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Accessible via lifts from the ground level from Circular Quay as listed on Google Maps. The lookout itself is adjucent to a busy road so can be a little noisy.

Ein sehr schöner Weg mit atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die Sydney Oper und die Skyline. Man gelangt per Aufzug nach oben und kann dann entspannt bis auf die Harbour Bridge laufen. Eine Empfehlung.

Great view point for Circular Quay, Opera House and Harbour Bridge. There is only one shelter area in the middle section. The walk continues to The Rocks and the Bridge to Milsons Point.
