Fabulous! I cannot say enough good things about this company! If you are looking for a mover search no further! When we decided to move I did a lot of research (as I always do) as to my best bang for my buck as well as quality and service! After looking into a handful of large moving companies I decided on Canadian moving services and we are SO glad we did! Jackie came to our home to give us an estimate; she was so great to deal with and even gave me a garantee the weight would be within 10% of the estimate! The quote received was well below any of the other movers we had research and when I confronted those movers to match or beat their prices they said they can’t even come close!! So I book Canadian movers right away! On moving day 3 guys showed up, they were all professional and efficient, taking apart furniture and wrapping with care. We were so impressed to hear the actual weight was within 50lb of our estimate!! Upon arrival to our destination we had issues getting into our storage area as it was filled with snow and not been plowed! The crew was so professional and understanding in such an annoying circumstance! At the end of the day they even went out of their way to help us out! Eric the driver and his crew were so great and willing to help us out! After the move was completed we noticed a small amount of damage to our freezer. One quick email to Francine and a quote was quickly received to replace the door. We offered to just settled with what was fair in cash and within an afternoon it was settled! Just like that! We were beyond impressed! After a few months we had to plan a move back due to unforeseen circumstances and we did not hesitate to call up Jackie once again to start the moving process and without hesitation they gave us that unreal price once again and even helped us out with a second location pick up! We are so happy with the service we have received with Canadian movers and are recommending them to everyone we know for their up coming moves!

In the past I have used this company several times. Yes there were a few problems but nothing huge. On Saturday, only one of their workers showed up at 9:30 and my friend helped him for the first hour and a half. They always speak to each other in French and I am not fluent so I found that rude. When the initial quote was done I was told that I would get a reduced price at yes an estimate of 4 hours. I was told at tops $800. Then my couch that has been in the family for years, would not fit in the condo (not their fault) so it had to be thrown out. However, when the invoice came in at $1,149 I was extremely angry. I will never recommend (which I have done for 3 different people to date) nor will I use this company ever again. This world everything is about money and it is a sin. The way they threw everything into one room. made it difficult for myself being disabled to try to sort through anything, Your better off to try to find some reliable friends get a U-haul and have less headaches. I paid $900 in the end.

I was very happy with CMS for our recent move. They were recommended to us which is one of the reasons I received a quote from them. I received 6 quotes for our move (from larger companies and smaller, local companies) and CMS was by far the more reasonable. They didn't try to charge you for all the "extras" (eg. use of wardrobe boxes, moving mirrors, etc). We had a lot of stuff and so decided to take their flat rate price (first company that had offered me this option). They showed up on time and their movers were great - super efficient, fast and friendly! They moved everything out of our old home in 3 hours! And then unloaded in just under 3 hours (note: we had 2 large trucks FULL of stuff). Now some damages can be expected and there were some minor damages to a few items. CMS was excellent to work with to resolve these issues. They took responsibility and had the items repaired to our satisfaction. We definitely would recommend them (and have already) and will use them again next time!

When another moving company did not show up on the agreed upon date, I called Canadian Moving Services and they immediately helped make a plan to get my things moved out of my apartment (with a tight timeline due to my lease ending). Eric and Francine were very professional and helpful throughout the process. Moe drove my items from Alberta to Nova Scotia and was very flexible and accommodating with timelines. All of my things were well padded and protected and the loading and unloading and inventorying process were smooth and efficient. When Moe came on delivery day, we ran into some problems with the size of the truck and some tight turns, but we happily worked together to create a plan to bring all the items to the new address anyway. He even left everything wrapped up for me (the items were staying in storage for a while) and gave me the moving blankets because he said he didn’t need them anymore. I was so impressed by Moe and highly recommend working with him for long haul moves!

Jackie and Francine have been extremely helpful and incredibly accommodating despite some of our last minute requests and date changes. Sometimes even working off shift! Remy and his crew came and packed up our entire house unbelievably well and extremely carefully yet so quickly and efficiently. Remy drove through the rain storm and delivered our things safely to BC. Due to the highway closures, he found out he was unable to head back home for an unknown amount of time, yet, he still had a smile on his face and continued to work hard to make sure all our furniture were put together better than they were before they were taken apart! Thank you to Jackie, Francine, and especially a big thank you to Remy for everything you guys have done for us especially during this difficult move and for relieving a lot of the stress of moving long distance! I would 1000000% recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a company to help with short or long distance moves.

We received excellent service from Canadian Moving Services from the very beginning. Jackie Pratt was so responsive every time I had a silly question about getting ready for the move. She answered every question quickly and professionally. Remy and Dennis showed up at our home (in Jasper) on time and worked their fingers to the bone for two days packing and loading everything from our "three story walk up" condo. The only hitch in the plan was we understood three people were coming to pack. This would have made day two a lot less taxing on two gentlemen who truly "left it all on the field" when it came to getting our move handled so well. I was so impressed by the work ethic of Remy and Dennis and want this review to highlight their effort on our behalf. I booked Canadian Moving Services Inc for my relocation (Edmonton to Calgary). Firstly, I found their price to be extremely competitive in the entire market, they were the cheapest by far. After this, I was blown away by the service Eric V and Jimmy provided. They both took lots of care of my belongings and worked extremely hard. They helped me pack up all my belongings, moved everything themselves and even set up all my furniture at my new place in Calgary. They worked so hard, it got to a point where I told both of them to take a 5 minute break and have a few drinks. For the price I paid, this level of service and dedication was one of the best I’ve seen. I am thoroughly impressed with this company, especially the professionalism of Eric and Jimmy. We hired Canadian Moving Services to move our household belongings to our new home, one week before xmas. Their crew of 3 guys was friendly and really good to work with. They were on time, had a large moving truck, and made easy work of some of the larger heavier pieces of furniture we weren’t sure would move easily. They protected any easily damaged, and sentimental furniture pieces with blankets, and protected the flooring in both homes with flooring mats so they would not get damaged. Boxes were skillfully placed in the truck before furniture was moved in, and we were amazed how well they made everything fit. There was no major damage to anything, and we are very happy with how the move went and the guys we dealt with. We happily recommend Canadian Moving Services to anyone looking for a moving company.

Without a doubt the crew deserves a 5-star review. Highly recommended! The entire process was flawless from getting a quote to moving. Darrel, Matthew and Alan were efficient, enthusiastic and cheerful to work with. The rates are the most reasonable comparing to the other moving companies with good reviews. The only thing I would recommend for some improvements was that I had to call a second time to get an e-mail confirmation for booking when the first call was only a verbal confirmation on the phone, which was quite confusing and was rushed to hang up the phone. A staff called 2 days before the moving day to confirm the booking and realized they mistook my moving date a day early. Good thing everything sorted out and there was still available crew on the day we planned to move.

I have moved a lot. Internationally and locally. Francine pulled through for me in every way. She accommodated multiple date changes. She packed all of my belongings with meticulousness and care. They moved me very efficiently, rebuilt my furniture, handled delicate items, arranged my whole home for me. It was a clean job without any breakage or damage. I am very particular and they allowed me to just direct and were accommodating to my needs and appeased literally every annoying request that I made. They all had calm and pleasant demeanours and made me feel really taken care of. This is the only moving company that I have ever dealt with that I would actually recommend. I was afraid to get the bill at the end of the day, but it was more than reasonable. White glove service.

We had Josh and Gavin from Canadian Moving Services help us with moving several large pieces of antique furniture. They were both very friendly, professional, and efficient. Josh is a gentleman (he called me "sir" which is rare and refreshing these days). Josh and Gavin treated our antique furniture with care and respect. They managed to move the furniture without any damage to our house. Their efficiency saved us both time and money, I was expecting to pay for more hours but they got it done in record time. Josh seems to be a great mentor, as he was providing guidance to his younger colleague during the move. I even learned some interesting furniture care tips from Josh. Great job guys! I'd go with Canadian Moving Services again the next time I need furniture moved.

Saved the day!!!!! We had a move planned for our grandmother. When the first company “no showed”. We scrambled to find a last minute rescue. With out hesitation Canadian Moving Services jumped to the rescue. They rearranged their schedule and fit us in. They arrived earlier than promised to start off. I have used a lot of moving companies over the years. I must say the team that came (Matt & Mike), by far exceeded all expectations. They were very pleasant, fast but careful and above all else very professional. Really came through last minute. Best part is it came under budget and cheaper than all companies we called (even last minute, after hours). We will be using and recommending Canadian Moving Services, for all future moves. Booked movers on May 9th for a job on May 21st and emailed prior to confirm arrangements and I also got call from Eric with a final confirmation the day prior with no indication that they would not show up and when we tried to call we were left with automated voice mail text that said "not available due to no reception". We had 2 days left to clear out of our home and had to hire an additional company that cost extra last minute (May long weekend) to move us from our home. We are greatly disappointed in this service as we had to move our entire family to an alternate place to stay while waiting on additional help elsewhere. It is now 3 days later and still no email or call of apology. Avoid the stress and hassle and hire an alternate company.

Overall an okay experience, their customer service is probably better than the movers. They started working at 12pm and finished at 2:30pm. The movers would stop every so often and I would catch them talking and wasting time. 30 minutes wasted to be exact. I timed it. I was charged from 11:30 until 2:30. That's not a big deal though since I was told that I would be refunded the next day. Their customer service is top notch if they do refund me. Especially since my main complaint was that I was overcharged. $600 for 3 hours. The movers were careful with my furniture, for the most part. They padded the fragile stuff, rolled out mats to keep my house clean. Pretty good service overall, except for the overcharge.

Third move with Canadian Moving Services and still nothing but great things to say about it! From the quoting/communication by Jackie to the loading of our home into the truck, right to the unpacking we experienced nothing but the best! A few Knicks on our new walls which really wasn't a big deal but quickly dealt with by Francine! I worked with this company to move my home and office stuff from one city to another city and these people did an amazing job. We have moved with this company 3 times now! Every time we have used them they have been extremely diligent and VERY hard working. They have gone above and beyond for us. Making our moves less stressful. We moved from Calgary and arrived back in Ardrossan late in the evening and even the owner came and helped with the move to make it go faster. We purchased a brand new home and they did not leave a single footprint or smudge in the house. They were very careful!! Not to mention their rates are always awesome. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a moving company. You will not regret it!!!

Was referred to these guys by another moving company due to last minute move and it was my first time using movers. They're VERY professional and exceeded my expectations of professionalism and efficientness. The two movers who showed up were extremely polite and caring to my stuff during the move and double checked to make sure they had gotten everything before they left. HIGHLY recommend this company. The price per hour is more than fair and they accepted cash, e-transfer, debit or credit card (2% extra on credit) for payment. I will definitely use them again for future moves.

This crew was great!!! They were friendly, hardworking and accommodating. We had a lot of heavy boxes and heavy furniture and they loaded it all on our truck. We were nervous if it would all fit, but they managed to do it. They even disassembled my trampoline and put that on as well!! They crew deserves 5 stars. I left one out because the dispatcher didn't inform them that we needed furniture disassembly and they came without the proper tools. They worked around it until someone dropped them off. All in all, these guys were fantastic and I would absolutely use them again!!!

These guys were unbelievably good! Francine helped me every step of the way from figuring out how many boxes I would need to bringing me more when I needed them. And helping me understand how to go about everything as I'd never used movers before. My movers were Herman and Mike, and they were great, too. I moved my house contents out with some friends and the following day when it came time to move out my garage contents my back was so sore I could barely move. I started calling around the next morning and Eric sent 3 guys 2 hours later and moved the contents out of my old garage and into my new garage in 2 hours! We chose this company for our long distance move that was across province. They arrived on time, loaded the truck quickly (in under an hour) and ensured all our possessions were loaded securely. We had the opportunity to witness Canadian Moving Services in action yesterday. They emptied our 2400 sq ft home in 2 hours without a scratch anywhere. Three french movers showed up and did an amazing ballet even with some really heavy stuff. Keep these guys in your back pocket if you want great movers for your clients, their attitude was fantastic as well. They also happened to be the least cost at $159.00/hr. Total cost of the move was less than $900 including travel time and their truck was right full.

I hired Canadian Moving Services for my moving on a hot summer day, July 10th 2021. I was moving in the city of Edmonton, Alberta. 3 people, Remy, Dave And Martin worked very hard. Although it was very hot day, they were fast, strong, kind, and excellent to carry furniture and appliances making no damages. I have hired 3 companies for last 10 years for my moving in Edmonton and Canadian Moving Services with the 3 people was the best. I strongly recommend Canadian Moving Services for your moving.

Junior & Nick were extremely hard working to help me with my move. They took utmost care to ensure all my items were transported, not a single item was missing or broken. Even though they were short a staff a member, it didn’t deter them as they worked relentlessly alongside me to help me complete my move. Canadian Moving Services arranged for our move from Montreal to Quebec. Packing and transportation from Montreal was done through a secondary company. Communication with Francine, the owner, was excellent throughout the whole process. Francine went above and beyond, reweighing our stuff in Edmonton to ensure that we were accurately charged. Hands down the best moving company I've ever used. Daniel, Erik & Eric arrived on time if not early and got the job done and all our stuff moved safely and so quick. Unloading at my new home was just as well done. I just had to stay out of the way & direct. I had them pack me up & also unpack. Eric V at Canadian Moving Services saved our move. We originally hired another moving company who no showed and delayed multiple times, until it was the day before we had to give up possession of our house and they again delayed. We contacted Eric and he got us out of the house that day and got us moved to another province within 2 days. He made sure everything was packed securely and helped us pack things we didn’t even think we would be able to take. Highly recommend!

This movers are stealer. They say lost object when it is neccessary for them and refund by weight which is un apropraite. They lost bed box and damged bed frame and said will give us CDN 30 which is a joke. Not even covering any percentage of the cost which is arround CDN 1000. They promise a lot until they get you in and do trash after. Do not go with them please. Save your money to move safely with all your furnitures! I curse them a failure in their business

We have moved several times and this was a very fast and efficient move. Quote was well done and there were no moving surprises on the costs. All staff showed up exactly as promised. Packers were great and all breakables arrived with no damage. Movers were very fast so time to move was less than expected. One couch had some fabric soiling but the company organized cleaners and was cleaned up in no time. Highly recommend the Canadian Moving Services team.

Not happy with the service, two guys helped us move, one was very nice and treated our belongings with respect. The other (short french guy) was not so respectful, I saw him throwing our stuff and kicking it. We also had damage to a chair and the stair railing in our brand new house. It took weeks of numerous phone calls for this company to address the damage in a fair manner. I truly regret not using the moving company we had the first time we moved.

Fantastic service and live up to their 5 Star name and reviews. Their rates are great compared to many others, the guys arrived early, worked hard, put things together for me, and worked through hiccups with elevator bookings. They also take care of your items wrapping them well and protect your floors and carpet. Would use again in a heartbeat, just not too soon as don't want to move again but when or if I do, will be using Canadian Moving Services.

The three men that helped us move to our new home were very organized, extremely hard working, good listeners, good at following direction, efficient, extremely fast, transported our belongings in perfect condition. We had heard good things from a friend regarding Canadian Moving Services, so we used them for our move. It was short distance. They were very nice, efficient, fast, and were able to accommodate our needs. They were helpful, too, allowing me to prepare some of the furniture with felt tips to protect the wood floors in our new house. We were referred to Canadian Moving Services by friends and i have to say, I shocked at how good they were. - Professional - accurate- careful- knowledgeable Just 2 of them moved our things most of the day. We hired them for a residential move within Edmonton, including an additional stop at a storage locker. They were efficient and on time, and very helpful while we prepared for the move. They worked with our budget to maximize the services we received, and less expensive than the other two movers we received quotes from. Had assistance disassembling and reassembling some items. A much happier moving experience compared to some fly by night guys renting a uhaul I've had experienced in the past. Herman and Marcus were terrific! Friendly, personable and amazingly efficient. They actually RAN from the moving truck to the front door of my house, carrying boxes and smaller items. I was very impressed when they carried a queen size mattress single handedly. I definitely recommend this moving company. The price per hour is more than fair for such energetic and careful staff. Eric V and Marcus from Canadian Moving Service came today to pickup my stuff for a move from Edmonton to Ottawa. They were great. They phoned me when they were on route, arrived on time, were quick, friendly and respectful of the building and my stuff. Francine from the office came to do the assessment before the pickups and was also very nice and helpful. All in all it was a great experience.

This company came highly recommended and now that I've used them I can see why. From booking to farewell every step was flawless. The movers were on time, showed great care, accommodated any request I had and were very friendly. The most impressive thing was their pace and work ethic. They worked non stop and didn't waste a minute of time. I couldn't have been more pleased with my move today.

Ok- moving sucks- but if you hire this moving company it’ll suck a lot less. Not only were they efficient- They were strong and actually hustling -I mean, sometimes running. I don’t know where they get the energy from but all I have to say is Daryl and Kayla were absolutely amazing. I am so impressed by both of them - I absolutely will use this company time and time again thank you so much.

I have moved a few times with movers now, these were by far the best. They were polite, punctual, reasonably priced. They placed everything in each appropriate room as labeled, used runners where necessary and did disassemble and reassemble furniture when required. They had all of their own equipment and were well prepared. I would recommend this company to anyone with an upcoming move.

Fantastic service! Confirmation was done over the phone with Eric. The crew showed up on time even through the winter blizzard. Darryl was the lead mover - he did an amazing job of fitting the belongings of a 4000sqft house into a small storage facility. He also delegated the crew really well. They used the time very efficiently and took minimal breaks. Highly highly recommended!

Used Canadian Moving Services to move my elderly mother. They made a stressful situation so much easier. Professional, courteous, efficient and just all around great people. They know what they are doing and ensure care is taken with belongings and provide just a great level of customer service right from point of initial contact throughout the move. The two young fellows were great. Very accommodating very professional. We packed most of the breakables. They packed the large items; TV, Queen bed headboard, rails and box spring and installed it and upacked the new mattress. The company was very accommodating in changing the arrival time so delivery in Sherwood Park location wouldnt interfere in use of elevator s for lunch.

Will and Herman were awesome! It’s the first time I’d ever used movers and wasn’t sure what to expect at all. They were very friendly and hustled butt all day and did everything they could to make my move as pain-free as possible. They even played interior designer and helped gauge where a couple of things went to help me out. Thanks guys, you made the day so much better!

Had a good experience with Canadian Moving Services with a recent move from Edmonton to a difficult location in rural BC. They are professional, efficient and organized, starting with Jackie in the office right through the packing and loading crew and then the unload at my new house. Eric and the crew work hard to get it right. I would recommend them for any move.

Great experience with this company. The movers can on time, worked quickly but carefully and we're respectful and positive. We moved from a high rise apartment to a townhouse, and there was no damage to the walls or belongings. The guys took the initiative to tape up boxes/items that might have broken open in the truck, and gave helpful tips for us. Thank you!

Company was recommended by our real estate agent. The movers (Matt and John) were great - they worked fast and worked hard and everything arrived intact. There was a small mix up with billing that I didn't notice until they contacted me. Francine was able to resolve it very quickly. Overall very happy with the move and would definitely use them again!

I used Canadian Moving Services to move out of my condo and move into my family's new home. Staff were very professional and handled our valuables safely, including a very heavy table which they carried to a second floor level. The price was reasonable in my opinion as well. My employer uses this company regularly so they were a natural choice for my personal move and they were awesome! 30 degree heat and I was wilting but they just motored along non-stop up a 3rd story walk up! Booked a small guy moving company, only to have him no-show on moving day. Called CMS and they booked me for the next day immediately, showed up on time, and sent great movers who checked in with me the entire day to ensure nothing was overlooked. I'll never book another mover but this company! Stellar service!!!!

after seeing a tv show about movers and some search results on line I was Leary of any company I picked. Canadian Moving Services was great friendly and professional they did every they said they would do , pickup, delivery and cost. would not hesitate to use this company again if I had to move AB to BC again.

Dave and Alex had all of our stuff moved in 4 hours. They had 2 speeds, fast and faster. They were incredibly efficient, kind, and hard working. They earn every penny and more!! We own a 65 pound ancient poker table and Dave carried it like it was a feather. Give these 2 amazing dudes more jobs and a raise!!

I found Eric and his team online late last year, and was thoroughly satisfied with the team. Moving day was early December, so not the most ideal in terms of weather. But the three of them were efficient, professional, and very service-oriented. I have no hesitation recommending Canadian Moving Services.
