I needed to move the contents of my Mother's condo after she passed away, to my small home 120 kms away . I phoned The Transport Guys, a person, a real person answered the phone . This was late afternoon Friday of the September long weekend. I got a quote immediately. With a small deposit, they booked me in on the Tuesday after the long weekend. Wow days not weeks of waiting. On Sunday I get a phone call to confirm time and addresses, however I came down with Covid on Saturday , the day after I booked. I explained this to the office, worried about the lack of notice, thinking I was stuck with dealing with a move while being very sick. Instead they thanked me for not wanting to put their workers at risk and moved my appointment two weeks later. This huge even with the short notice and I was abled to rebook as quickly as I was healthy. Amazing . The day of the move, I get a text notifying me the movers are a half hour away, then another text when they arrived, exactly at 9 am. Two amazing men packed and moved the condo contents quickly, with a plan. I mean wrapping every piece of furniture, took a part beds, dressers, boxed the 65" tv etc. Stapping everything in their big moving van so nothing could be damaged in transport. No damage to the condo, or the condo building, this is huge when you have a damage deposit you want back. They drive the 2 hours to my home town, unloaded everything, to a small house that was already fully furnished, that had no room for the unexpected extra contents . They put together the bed and dressers in my room . The rest of the contents were taken either to the basement or stacked in the spare room, so I can slowly deal with the extra furniture. These men were amazing, I can not say enough great things about them. They were friendly , a smile on their faces the whole day. Professional, organized and did not waste time. The office staff were amazing and the price was close to the estimate, they know their business.They were even understanding when I had to e-transfer in two transactions when the bank limits didn't allow me to transfer the whole amount I highly recommend this company. I already recommended them to my elderly neighbor. The Condo manager was equally impressed. He said will recommend this company to all that move in or out of this building

The reception was absolutely amazing...and so understanding with everything that was going on, gladly moved our dates as we needed without worry at all, that was very highly appreciative! The gentlemen that came were not only early (they called first to make sure it was alright that they came early) they were very efficient, careful with our belongings by wrapping EVERYTHING with padded blankets before loading them onto the truck. We had a small one bedroom packed and completely moved very smoothly and quickly. We hired this company last week to move our 5000 sq foot house from Sherwood Park to Calgary and we were so happy we hired these guys. From the day of booking both i dealt with the same 2 sales people Mike and Natalie were amazing they answered everything we asked and we asked so many questions to ensure we were making the right choice. This was our third time hiring a moving company for a move within Edmonton and this company BLEW IT OUT OF THE WATER. The team of 3 guys showed up on time, and were ready to work right away. They wrapped the door frames and laid down runners to protect our floors at both the departing and arriving locations. We were ready with everything boxed up but they took the time to carefully wrap all our furniture in packing blankets. The dynamics were so nice - they were polite and respectful to each other and us. The booking process was very easy as well - this company really takes care of its customers. The Transport Guys were beyond amazing! We booked them last minute and they were able to easily accommodate us. Scott and Nigel were our movers and they arrived on time and were very quick, efficient, and friendly. I could never imagine the amount of satisfaction. One of my disposal vehicles carrying glass windows broke down and transport guys came to the rescue in RECORD time. My job was saved due to their efficient and responsive handeling of the situation. Very good workers, the drivers KNOW what their doing and what to do in times of need. If you want a company thats stress-free, This is the one to call. I've been using them more often now and they are exceptional at moving fragile shipments such as newly painted vehicles and painted body panels. They shipped my bumper without a scratch. AMAZING professional team of guys. Their care, work ethic and attitude was incredible. They turned the dreaded move into an enjoyable and memorable day and we can't recommend them highly enough. The only issue we had was that there was irreparable damage to one of our items and the companies insurance would only cover about a sixth of the cost of replacement. Not worth pursuing. Still, I would book this company again in a heart beat. But it's good to be aware in advance of their insurance limitations, especially if you have very valuable contents.

They made the entire process effortless, smooth, and stress free for me. We did an across province move that we also needed a couple nights storage for. The office support, Natalie was amazing and beyond helpful in assisting us figure out the best plan for our move. The movers were great as well and took care of our possessions. They packed and wrapped and took apart our furniture that needed to. We were worried not everything would fit in the truck , but they made it all fit with room to spare. I hired the transport Guys to unload two pods . I had sold my house the month before and had my stuff in storage. I live out of town on an acreage about 45 minutes from the city. Scott , Parv and Justin were the movers. They showed up on time , were very polite and respectful. I had a lot of heavy items and it was no problem for them. Three hours later they were done and cleaned up. They asked if there was anything else that could do before leaving and thanked me for their business. I would recommended the transport Guys to anyone.

Hired these guys to do a move locally and they were amazing. The quote was under what we were estimated and everything was clearly explained to us. The staff in office was great to deal with. Mike answered all my questions and was able to accommodate 2 date changes due to the possession of our new house changing. The movers themselves were very hard working and protected all our belongings and took all our beds apart and set them up after a long day. Horrible experience, overcharged $3000 over quoted price, service concerns were met with threats of keeping our possessions and when we mentioned we would be leaving poor reviews we were met with more threats of not giving us the unfair terrible discount they did provide to keep us quiet it seems. Terribly managed and terrible customer service. Ps. Basically threw all our stuff in storage unit and us having to pay for 3 units when if stacked even somewhat properly 2 units would have been more then sufficient.

Never had any damaged materials either and we work with easily shattered stone, tile and sometimes irreplaceable glass pieces of work and custom fabricated furnishing. This was the best move I've ever had. Booking was a delight, friendly staff, confirmation with text and a phone call and again when they arrive, and payment was easy.
