This is one of my favorite Fort Worth Mexican restaurants. The last time I was here, however, they were having an off day. I've been here probably almost 50 times of the years and have never experienced the issues I had on my last visit. The waiter didn't being our drinks before our food. He told one of our party members 3 seperate times that they were out of what he ordered and by the time he finally got his order, he was bringing the rest of the table's food. The food was still delicious. I love the atmosphere of this place because it isn't too dark or too loud. It's a great place for families to go. Lunch time can get busy, but you wont be waiting to be seated. Dinner time is a little more relaxed. Weekends usually draw a crowd. I will continue to eat here frequently.

The complimentary salsa is nasty. It comes from a jar mixed with some chili spice to add the 'authentic' taste to it, not original homemade. The meat in the tacos tastes like the smell when you open a can of dog food. The 'carne con chili' is not original, its chili beans w/ meat from a can & ruins the food they smother it on. the food has definitely lost its quality. And I know mexican food. The service, hmmm the waitress did not refill my empty chip bowl, she was at my table 3 times. Not once asked to or voluntarily refill chip bowl. Sadly, this restaurant has lost its quality these past 2 yrs.

I had the fajita chicken street tacos. They were served on corn tortillas and topped with fresh diced onion, cilantro, lime, and a green chili sauce. The plate came with 5. I ate three and took two home and put them in the fridge. The next day, I heated them in a toaster oven. I think the toasty-ness is what they needed because they tasted even better. I topped them off with pace picante sauce and wished I had 5 more.

Today I visited Cancun Mexican restaurant, my daughter was starving, so I decided to look for a close Mexican restaurant and found this place, was expecting something more authentic due to the name. I Ordered 3 dishes and a Michelada, and just will say it's perfect for people that is craving for TexMex food. Expected for the piece of Arrachera to be a little bit bigger, and the Camarones a la Diabla to be Hot, flavor was ok on everything, the Michelada a little bit sweet for my taste. My complements to our server Judith, she was nice and fast. Gracias por tu servicio y sonrisa Judith. Wish we sat in the patio, Maybe next time!

Fast Friendly Fun all staff smile, and are so courteous and helpful. It’s our hump day, support small business restaurant day. The margaritas are fabulous with the secret spicy salt, I must have, just don’t tell your doctor. The enchiladas stand up to everyone else is in Fort Worth and the patio seating makes you feel like you’re at grandmas house, well, not really you are consuming tequila. L O L it’s just a great small business. Make it one of your stops through the week.

I used to love this place, but we went there for dinner tonight and it was terrible. The manager or owner is very rude. We asked if we could go to the outside patio and he said" why, is it to cold." and made a face. I don't care why, I'm a customer and I want to go outside. There was no one outside and there was no reason for his reaction. The fish and shirmp had no flavor to them at all. I don't know if it change managment or what but the food and service were terrible. He did give us some $5 coupons for next time, but it wasn't about the money, if I complain is so they try to correct their wrongs not because I want free food.

The food was delicious! Service was fast and courteous, and the portions were generous. Highly recommended! In my original review, I was highly impressed. Today I was not. First, they informed me that they would not honor my Entertainment discount. They always did before. Second, I got nachos for $14.50 and they were just okay, nothing special. If a restaurant is not going to honor coupons or other discounts, they should make it plain on the door. Cancun did not do this.

Oh my goodness! This place was delicious! The portions were HUGE! The staff was super sweet. We loved it all! They are short staffed, so the wait to be treated and to get our check after the meal was a little long, but nothing crazy. Just have a little patience. It's totally worth it! 2 years later, still so good. Hubby had enchiladas. I had fish tacos. Both were delicious. Still great portions. Still seemed a bit understaffed.

Restaurant was super clean, we were greeted right away and the server was super friendly. I got the camarones a la diabla and my husband got the Chile rellenos with fajitas, everything was delicious!!! My husband is a picky man when it comes to Mexican food, he always says "why over pay when we can make it at home?" This time it was different, no complaints and he even mentioned he would be willing to stop by again. Next time, we'll bring the kids as they had a nice family atmosphere and maybe sit on the outside patio and enjoy a margarita or michelada.

Saw the review of the Cancun restaurant in the FW StarTelegram and went to the restaurant. The food was excellent! The salsa was mild with great spices. The dinners were great!! We were there after 1:00 pm on a Friday. It was not crowded and service was prompt and attentive! There is outside seating, but not for us on a 101° day! The handicapped accessible restrooms were minimally adequate, but made it work. Not aggravating enough to keep from returning. Handicapped parking and entry were great. Overall, a great place to eat and go with friends!

The beef fajitas were mediocre at best. Tasted great but not hot out of the kitchen. This is usually my go-to Mexican food place, however over the past couple of months , the waitresses seemed to be more interested in talking to each other by the kitchen door rather than taking care of the customer. It's a shame because normally the food was very good, however tonight was bad at that restaurant. Has definitely changed over the past couple of months. I hope they get it back together and become a great place to eat again

The cheese quesadillas were really good! However, the beef fajitas were the nastiest I've ever had in my life! I couldn't even drown the taste with guac and salsa! But otherwise it was good. We normally like this restaurant. So I'm very disappointed to say that my family ate here and found a baby roach inside our salsa. When we brought it to the attention of the owner she didn't show much concern. She refused to refund us. Saying it would take 5-7 business days and how she didn't want to call the credit company to void the bill. Instead she gave us a gift card for not even a fraction of the bill. So disappointed In management for how they handled the situation. Will not be returning.

Came here because a friend said their margaritas were on a “best of Fort Worth” list. Came on a Saturday around 1pm. It was a nice day but really windy so we sat inside. The restaurant was about half full. Service was good. My friend got the house margarita on the rocks and I got the beer-Rita. We both enjoyed them. Food was delicious! Came out hot and relatively quickly. Will definitely recommend & be back again.

Great atmosphere and great service! However they can can do better on their food and drinks. Food is a little bland and not something you bite into and say omg this is sooo good.. margarita's taste cheap. Overly priced for the quality which is why I only give 3 stars. I wouldn't recommend this place unless service and ambiance was all you cared for. Or if you like non-spicey and minimal spice Mexican food, this is the place for you. IDK maybe my fiance and I just ordered the wrong thing.

Tasteless food, several items on the menu lacked seasoning. Carne Mexicana was not good at all, was not a T bone steak like it stated on the menu, it was just a small piece of meat. Only good thing I enjoyed was the chips and salsa, i dont know how this place has 4.2 stars its terrible. 0/10 do not recommend.

The food was good and the staff was friendly. It was a little out of the way for me considering where I live but, would definitely consider going back if I'm on that side of town. Pricing is reasonable and the portions are generous. Didn't try anything from the bar so I can't comment about that but it looks to be a full service bar with several beers on tap. Chips were served warm and the salsa had just the right kick. A solid choice for Mexican when you're in West Ft. Worth.

So for one it took 45 min to get our drinks and the when she did. Bring the she spelled them right in front of us I order a thing of cheese with brisket on to it was so greasy and nasty that I couldn't eat or so at this point we had decided that if our food wasn't good we're not going to pay for this meal so the lady comes out and take your order goes inside and 10 minutes later she comes out and askes us again what we order at this point we had enough and left

Beef fajitas were great, lots of grilled onions with it, beans and rice wasn't that good. If you like plain mild salsa then you will love their salsa. Employees are friendly just not helpful. There were 2 other couples in the place but the server came by one time to fill the water. No one brought me a check, I had to get it myself. The employees were really busy talking amongst themselves. Probably won't ever drive out of my way to come here again.

Poor service. Asked if they had a particular dish, was told they did, and was served something different. Had to send up smoke signals to get someone to come to the table for drink refills, etc. Food itself was certainly enjoyable, but frankly I'd give this place a pass due to prices and service alone.

Been going there for years and have always enjoyed the food & the service… Went there last Saturday evening and the food was not good and the service was even worse…. Very disappointing and will not be going back…. Maybe they have changed ownership, I don’t know… But the food quality and the service were not what we’ve been accustomed to for the last several years…. Really sad… It use to be one of our favs!!!

It was a late lunch early dinner. The service was great. They didn't ignore us because there were very few people in the restaurant. We loved both of our meals. I had a chilli relleno, and it was one of the best I have ever had. I order them often, so I have a good set of references. Plenty of rice and beans with it, pour your own salsa, constant refills on my soda. It doesn't get much better than that!!

We randomly stopped in one day and was very pleasantly surprised. With the great atmosphere and food a simple let's find something to eat turned into a romantic date with my wife with some great conversation over beer and margaritas! Again, great atmosphere and customer service and most of all great food. I haven't had anything I didn't like there since we have been back a few times since our first.

The food here is absolutely delicious. My favorite waitress is Rosy she is amazing! She knows the menu soo well and always has great suggestions. I go about 1 time ever week and a half that's how good it is!!!

Ordered a number 4 and was charged for something totally different. When the food arrived to my table they gave me two tortilla chips with beans a sprinkle of cheese and a small bite sized piece of chicken and called it nachos and also did not put any meat in my quesadillas. If I could give them negative zero stars I most definitely would, I would not recommend my dog to eat there

My family has come here for a couple years now, and the service has always been wonderful. Small, quaint place, but always friendly and sincere service. Food is always good, drinks are made strong and prices are reasonable. Tonight we had the pleasure of being served by Rigo, and he was exceptional! Very friendly! Looking forward to coming here for many more years.

Came here for my son's birthday. We sat outside. A guy with braces named jose was our server. He got us drinks left the table and never returned. Someone else brought us straws. We wasted 30 minutes sitting there. I had to go inside and pretend to have an emergency so we could get the check and leave. We will not be back. The margarita had no alcohol in it at all.

Food was great, they were very fast. Servi e is okay.. We had the grilled fish with garlic sauce and a tostada with ceviche both very good. The hot sauce isn't super hot but They have one you can request that is spicy. The only down fall was the waitress got our tickets mixed up on who had what food. Next time I'm on this side of town I will come back.

The food was bland and the price was unreasonable for the quality but the main thing for me was the overpowering stench of fabuloso. I didn’t want to ruin my family’s time so I dealt with it (found out they hated it as well). If you have sensory issues stay away. One more point, that stuff is made for covering up smells. So what are they covering up?

I have been going here for years! I love the food... All except the salsa.. I'm sorry but it is just plain and taste like tomato. No chunks of anything in it. Really wish they would change it. We ate at Cancun Mexican Restaurant for the first time last night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything from the chips and thick, rich and spicy salsa to the Mexican Coca-Cola to the tortillas and every food dish that we had was wonderful. Our waitress did a great job and we will definitely return for more of their wonderful food!

My wife and I decided to give this place a try, and I am glad that we did. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. They were a bit busy, but that being the case, the service was still very good. The staff was friendly and courteous. I would most certainly recommend this place, and I plan on eating there again in the very near future.

Don’t order the street tacos they sucked. Meat was really tough, and the flavor was not that great. I ordered the chicken fajitas, it didn’t come with any bell peppers red or green just onions. Not much flavor. The beans and rice were the only thing really good. If you’re looking for authentic, this place isn’t it!

Great service, very nice staff and overall a great experience. Thank you for making sure I never ran out of tea and making sure I had some to take with me! The flautas were delicious!

I order Togo her literally every Sunday and something is always missing. Today I didn’t get any condiments, no chips or salsa missing 2 sides of toast. Last week I was missing my rice and toast that comes with my soup. I spend almost $100 dollars each time I come here, which is a lot to always have items missing.

There were 5 in our party. All had different items. All agreed that we liked our meal!! Two of us had margaritas.... Yes, yes, great. Our waitress might have been watching our table because she was always there at the right time!!

My husband, son, and I came here on a whim while visiting Fort Worth, prior to moving here. This place is AMAZING. The staff was incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the drinks were well made (and tasty!). Reasonably priced as well. So far this is our go to place for Mexican food.

The food was cold and had no flavor, I ordered Asada taquitos plate and the meat was just nerves every time you bit into the meat you felt the nerve just pop ...they don't like to cook , because look like they buy the ingredients and the food on the store. The place is clean and fresh.

I actually love this place, it's not over priced and they have good chips and salsa. I normally always just stick to their enchiladas. Service is always nice. Maria is a sweetheart. The place is clean and they have a relaxing patio for those good weather days.

I used to go here almost daily for lunch about 10 years ago. It had been a while since I'd ate here, so my husband and I decided to go and its the same great food I remembered and for a decent price! And the margaritas are awesome! Definitely recommend!

Frozen margaritas were excellent. Service very good and food was excellent. I had chicken sour cream enchiladas and the meat melted in my mouth. My husband had Tacos al carbon and the extras put them over the top. Can't say anything bad about our meal.

Best fish tacos in Fort Worth, at least in my opinion. Cocktails are a bit on the pricy side, but they don't skimp on the alcohol, so you will probably only need one.

Great place!! I've been going for years and years. I have never gotten anything other than great, friendly service. The food is always great and comes quick. They give you a pitcher of salsa so you can refil whenever you want!!

Food is excellent. Good service. This place is small, but very clean and tidy. Trendy but not fancy. That parking lot is always packed to the gills- because the food is really, really great. The outdoor patio seating is cool.

the food isn't that good tbh and it's expensive, $100 down the drain, food is no good or bussin. they didn't give my sister dc pepper, they gave her dc thunder and she said it tasted off brand.

Great service and food was authentic! The charro beans was excellent. I could've just eaten that alone. Family owned for years. Will definitely be coming back to support a local business.

Best Mexican food around by far, the chips and salsa are always fresh and delicious. The cheese dip is to die for and the enchiladas gringas is my meal of choice every time we come here.

Their Mexican Shrimp Cocktail and Ceviche is the best. Great service. Great drinks. Always have a fantastic experience. We eat here at least 3 - 4 times a month.

Cheese enchiladas with rice and beans were just ok. I took home a dozen pork tamales and those were great! House rocks margarita was ok - have had better.
