Service was great as usual with two notable exceptions. First, I was unable to pay with my Car Care one card and get the promotional deal that I usually do. When my old shop closed down, I searched for and chose Cangany's for the express reason that they accepted this card. I was unhappy to hear that I can no longer use it and expressed this to staff at the time. They assured me that there was an alternate plan in the works for financing large bills. I personally cannot comfortably afford to pay multiple hundred dollar balances off the cuff and I depend on that card's financing to keep my car functioning well and not break the bank. Also, a multiple point check was done but my right front daylight running lamp is still not working, which I only noticed a few days afterwards. These two reasons are the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.

What’s the point of booking an appointment 2 days in advance if you’re going to leave the car in the lot and not even look at it? Dropped off at 9.30 for my scheduled appointment. By 2pm my car had not been moved. I called for an update because I hadn’t heard anything. They said it has not been looked at it. At that point I said don’t bother. When I went to pick up my car they didn’t bother explaining why they don’t honor appointments, and didn’t care enough to apologize for making me wait all day, even though I had an appointment, for service they weren’t even going to try to complete. This was my third time taking my car into this shop. This will also be my last. Nothing is worse than a place not honoring an appointment or treating your customers time like it’s unimportant.

I was referred to Cangany Auto by a couple different people. I took my car in due to an electrical issue that kept causing a fuse to blow that controlled my a/c. We ran into a couple minor hiccups during repair, but they kept me in the loop through the entire process. They even offered to get me to work the morning I dropped my car off, but I had already had that covered. Since I know electrical can be iffy and pricey, I never felt that I was being taken advantage of with their service. I would recommend Cangany Auto to anyone and everyone that needs an honest, reliable and professional mechanic business. They will absolutely keep my business for all future needs. Thank you Mike and Mike, you two absolutely rock!!!

I’m not going to praise them for the repair they did for me. Instead I will praise them for the one they WOULD NOT do. I had a fuel leak that needed to be fixed and I sent them my vehicle. After getting it up on the lift they told me they wouldn’t complete the repair requested . It turns out that the frame was so badly rusted due to an issue with that model and year of Toyota Tacoma that fixing the issue and returning an unsafe vehicle to the road was not something they were prepared to do. Another mechanic could have fixed it taken the money and thought no more about it. Turning down money for repairs to ensure a customer’s safety by also keeping an unsafe vehicle off the road says a lot about their integrity.

I have last-minute called for a break light repair on my vehicle. They fit me in on the basis of my available date. The team worked with my timing of showing up for a quick diagnostic of the issue along with the electrical problem that was found. Got repaired in less than two hours; amazing service from the team in the office as well as the mechanics along the way. You may have larger potential issue with your vehicle; you can see they have their team diligently working on each customer's needs from experiencing repair service with Cangany Auto. You have gained a lifetime customer!

I've been going to Cangany's for all my truck repairs and maintenance for years, and will continue to do so. Their level of service is top-tier, and I've always received what I paid for. Like many, I've struggled to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic but that's no longer a concern since I've been going to Cangany's. All the staff and technicians I've interacted with have been friendly, informative, professional, and knowledgeable. I always feel comfortable and confident taking my truck here for repairs; this place has a proven track record!

I'm always nervous about taking my car into a auto shop because I've been swindled before. That is NOT the case with Cangany. I felt like I was talking to a family member anytime I spoke with the service folks. They are very caring and will explain anything you need them to in terms that make sense. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. They were even able to help me get a tow when my car was stuck on the side of the road. They have me business for life!

Once again, Cangany Auto took care of my car - both the things that were not obvious to me, but were found when I had it in to change the oil, and the annoying attention light, that only needed a battery replacement. I always feel confident that when I take my car to them, whether it is something I detected or something they found, it is taken care of efficiently and economically. I always feel like I am treated as if I were their mother or grandmother.

I typically don’t do reviews so, reading this please know that’s already an automatic 10 stars in my eyes! I had car trouble and Firestone recommended Canagy’s. I had deep engine repair needed (a timing chain and a million other things) and when I say they got my car one day, ordered parts the next, and had it fixed the NEXT. They handled my insurance claim as well and kept me in the loop! Special shout out to Mike and Dustin! I highly recommend!

Was given a quote around 47.00 by email. When I went to pay the bill it was 30.00 higher. I had only just erased the email before I picked it up, which had the lower price quote. But, John said he remembered it and gave me the original price, even though he had upgraded the type of oil, which accounted for the higher price. That was really good of them considering I've only been there twice. Indy needs more Mom and Pop businesses like Cangany's

Excellent shop for anything pertaining to an automobile or SUV. Quality work; very fair and honest folks. Have been a customer for several years. I was in yesterday for oil change and A/C check. Easy to make appointments. This is a shop that can diagnose just about any issue with a vehicle. I have recommended Cangany's to family and friends. My wife does not mind going into their shop. Great to have an auto shop you trust.

We have used Cangany’s for a couple years with multiple vehicles and every time I leave even happier that we chose them. They’re so nice & honest & I usually bend up paying less than what they quoted me before the service. They’ve even fixed the work of another company but figured out a way to warranty the parts so we paid a fraction of what we were expecting. We always have good experiences here.

Sometimes I don’t know what’s wrong with my car exactly but I’ve never been overcharged and in most cases I’ve had my car back by the next day. Since I’ve moved back to Indianapolis back in ‘15 they’re the only shop I’d let even look at my car. The staff at the shop have always been professional and kind. They fixed the high idle on my vehicle, and not only did they fix the problem, it made my vehicle less noisy and improved my gas mileage! I’m a happy camper. The mechanic spent the time to explain anything I asked about. Also, if they needed to discuss anything during the repair, they didn’t hesitate to reach out and discuss. This was a great experience.

Absolutely a AWESOME place! Service, timing, and staff…and definitely the price, the BEST. I took my truck there, without appointment after my car accident, and in a week, I got my truck back and running like nothing. They don’t do body work, just motor work. John over the counter was very attentive and call me, and they got with my insurance.

This was my 1st visit to Cangany Auto and it did not disappoint. I had an appointment to get an oil change. They took my car in right on time and had it finished in no time at all. They even performed a safety check, checking all of my belts, hoses, fluid levels, every light and every bulb. It was a fabulous experience and I will be back.

Checked for intermittent miss firing and couldn't find any problems. Could have very easily told me there were all kinds of issues BUT DID NOT. This kind of honesty at a repair shop is very very rare and they are to be commended. I have no problem in recommending Cangany Auto Repair for auto service and repairs.

I went in for a head light change. They said they do an inspection just in case. Charged me 120 and couldn’t even put my bumper on right. Now the front of my car looks like it’s off. It was fast service but obviously went to fast.

Worst experience I ever had! I spent over 900 dollars to get the ball joints fixed and drove it two blocks before the brakes completely failed and I was almost in an accident beware!
