"Incredible market place"
"$15 flat rate would have been okay for the night market, and we saw plenty leaving the car park, but when I finally made it through traffic to the entrance a security guard was blocking it"
"CONVENIENT FOR SHORT VISITS TO QV MARKET The Queen Vic Market Carpark is a large open air park adjacent to the market"
"My car was broken into at the carpark and personal goods stolen from it"
"If you're only doing a quick shop at the Queen Victoria market then you may be lucky enough to find a short-stay parking bay on Queen Street between Therry and Victoria Streets and for early bird shoppers there's FREE parking in the market car park on market days between 6am-9am"
Incredible market place. Highly recommended for large families to make the best of your dollar. Fruit is so, so fresh and tones of it. Valencia Oranges taste amazing, I got these from the Organic Friut section where the staff are super friendly. The fish section smelt of sea and fresh produce. Excellent range of choices. The deli section is a treat in itself especially if you enjoy delicious cheeses of all types, cured meats. Plenty of places to grab a quick bite or sit down lunch. Kids love the place, so much to see and do. It's a place for the senses to go wild. A definite for back packers as it's cheap and fresh. If you want it, the Queen Vic is guaranteed to have it, in bulk and single with so many choices. Put away a few hours if you want to spend the morning out and about. Such an amazing place #LetsGuide #organic
$15 flat rate would have been okay for the night market, and we saw plenty leaving the car park, but when I finally made it through traffic to the entrance a security guard was blocking it. He said they asked him to stop people entering for a while, but couldn't give an indication of how long that would be, even when pressed. We waited 15 mins in the queue but decided to park in the 2 hour parking opposite. It only gave us 1.5 hours for $9, and after we paid our ticket we noticed the security guard was letting people in again! Honesty or the willingness to find out info for us would have been appreciated, it ruined our night having to leave early
CONVENIENT FOR SHORT VISITS TO QV MARKET The Queen Vic Market Carpark is a large open air park adjacent to the market. It's free between 6 - 9 am on the days the Market is open (Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun) which is very convenient if you want to do some early morning shopping. It is not under cover so bring your umbrella on rainy days. Exit is currently (Aug 2022) only via Peel St while the market renovations are under way. You are literally just metres away from the market sheds here so it shouldnt be a challenge for people with mobility issues.
My car was broken into at the carpark and personal goods stolen from it. When I rang the car park operator, their response was: 1) not their problem, 2) no one there who could help me, 3) report it to the police, 4) no they don't know what police station, 4) no they can't assist with CCTV footage, 5) in fact they don't even know if there is CCTV despite signs all around the place saying CCTV is in place. Don't park here unless you want your car violated.
If you're only doing a quick shop at the Queen Victoria market then you may be lucky enough to find a short-stay parking bay on Queen Street between Therry and Victoria Streets and for early bird shoppers there's FREE parking in the market car park on market days between 6am-9am. Besides that, I found the rates at the market car park are fairly reasonable $6 for the first 2 hours and $4 per hour there after.
Was surprised and than angered that the market operator had changed the parking costs again without displaying the changes prominently before you enter the car park. Until recently i hour parking was free on the weekend. Now you are charged 6 $ for 2 hours after 9 am, even if you just stay a few minutes. There were many an angry customer there. I will not return to the market, parking is too expensive.
Built directly on top of Melbourne's first cemetery from the early 1800s. There are hundreds of Melbourne's pioneers still buried under it. Probably the best car park in Melbourne's CBD too as it is cheap, in the cbd still and right next to the heritage listed Queen Victoria Market. there is no under cover parking though and it does fill fast on weekends and during the night markets.
The parking lot was spacious, and I easily found a spot to park my car. The pricing was also reasonable compared to other parking lots in the area. The location of the parking lot was convenient. The only minor issue is that it is a bit difficult to navigate through the parking lot due to the limited signage for first timers.
Pricey and parks a little on the tight size. Not the best for your suburban SUV or soccer mum type vehicles. Although much cheaper than parking directly outside the front entrance where you got to get a loan to pay for the hour. This carpark is convenient for those who need immediate access and unable to work long distances.
Can be busy on the weekends and you find yourself driving around to find a spot. It had improved over the years. After multiple price rises, they have to their senses and brought prices down for market days to encourage people to come the market. Very sensible
No sign shows the parking changed until recently. Shock when pay $6 when just parking few minutes. Besides, $6 is too expense for a farmer market. Sad to say goodbye to the market which have been my favorite market in the last 7 years.
Place is terrible first time I've parked here and I've been sitting behind 10 cars who can't leave because they're new parking and pay system isn't working been sitting here 20mins now (currently writing this in my car inline)
WARNING do not use this car park over night such a ripe of we parked for one hr on a Friday night and got charged $36 do no use it other place to park at a much better rate and such bad costumer service never again
ZERO STARS extra hidden fee of 30 dollars for exiting after 19h. NOT mentioned except small line at bottom of the sign which nobody notices. Feels really deliberate since every other fee is summed up nicely above.
This parking is much easier to pay now compared to my previous visits. Once you entered it is automatically scan your plate number and no tickets needed. Hoping this technology is everywhere
Easy parking!!! You just drive and the camera capture your number plate so you don't need ticket. Once ready to leave just go to pay station and follow the... not too expensive!!!
Ample of space for Open-Air Car Park and Undercover car parking. Very convenient and efficient. Additionally you can use QVM parking app for quick and easy parking payment.
Make sure you don't stay 1 minute after 7pm to avoid an additional $30 fee! Fee is only mentioned in small print at the bottom. Definitely designed to be overlooked...
Car park spaces are TOO NARROW. Wow, unbelievable, almost got boxed in. Not fantastic at all. But there are many spaces, had no issue finding a park even on a Sunday.
I parked here and my car was totally there when I got back. As far as car parks go it did all I wanted. No more than that though so 3 stars is appropriate enough.
No sign displaying the changes of cost before entering car park. Shocked being asked to pay $6 on weekends when it used to be free. Not a pleasant visit.
It's nice and clean-fairly new- but be aware you might get over-charged and it's easy to miss if you're using automatic payment method like us.
Large parking area within walking distance to the city. However watch out for the fine print where you might be charged an extra $30 after 7pm.
Not impressed with the recent changes to fees that hit us by surprise. 6$ for 40 minutes after having been free for the first hour before.
Nice place to spend some time walking around or shopping. Lots of stalls with almost everything from groceries to clothes or memorabilia.
Misleading pricing and automatic exit system wasn't working delaying exit. Have since found better options nearby.
Lot's of food stalls and brilliant food court. Plenty of fresh produce, good variety of different products.
Excelente lugar para ferias de comidas, típica de una ciudad multicultural, debería hacerse mas constante.
Such a Handy place to park. Great value for All day parking. Hope they NEVER Developed on this site!!!
Convenient place to park but the entrance and exits have changed, not as easy to get in and out now.
Really spacious, the food is great, people are warm and just what you’d expect from a marketplace!
Lieu indispensable à visiter le mercredi soir car les stands de nourriture sont à profusion
Great idea. Walking distance to tram stops and inner city shops. Reasonably priced and safe
Depending on the time you go, it can be tricky but I found a spot easily enough this time.
This is a weekly pilgrimage in the pursuance of market fresh food at affordable prices.
First 5 hours 18 dollars 5 hours and 2 minutes 40 dollars enough said scamming scum
Good point to park your car safe and move on to the city or visit the market.
Good cheap open air parking and can be a used for short span 1-2 hrs parking
Le Queen Victoria Market est à voir, ancien bâtiment avec beaucoup de charme
I like the number plate recognition system, relatively cheap place to park
South Melbourne market の方が好みでしたが、お土産品を買うのにいいところかもしれません。駐車場は広くて使いやすいです。
Should be free with a purchase docket/voucher from one of the stalls.
Get in early and great easy way to visit the market. Fair pricing.
La parte de ropa es espantosa tipo feria. Solo lo de comida es ok.
Good parking especially if you in the morning. Free until 9 am
Efficient, automated process nowadays. Plenty of room, too.
Convenient parking for Victoria Markets. $14 flat rate.
Way Cheaper compared to other parking around the city

Cheap week day parking. $12 flat rate at weekends.
One of the cheapest parking you'll get u believe.
Amazing place for parking Is not even expensive
Spacious but expensive $15 flat seems too much.
Easy to find parking. Cost is value for money
Very competitive and realistic parking fees.
Plenty of easy parking on the city fringe.
Loved the night market, it was fantastic.
