"Surprisingly a very easy car park to navigate"
"I pre booked online on Boxing Day to avoid missing out on a spot and for a hassle free experience"
"What a pain! PayPass does not work on any of the machines"
"I like parking here on weekends or public holidays ($16 all day) Great location to the arts precinct, flinders street station, the river etc"
"Clean, well lit and very surprisingly almost empty"
Surprisingly a very easy car park to navigate. I generally park here when I’m hanging out at Fed Square or by the yarra and even NGV. Access is easy and parks are a plenty and the car park even feels safe when it gets quiet and late. Car spaces are of a normal size… it does get tight to drive around when it’s peak, but that’s expected for a car park that’s smack bang in the middle of everything in the city. Never have I been to a car park that also had a public toilet available in the midst of all the car spaces! super handy!
I pre booked online on Boxing Day to avoid missing out on a spot and for a hassle free experience. I used my credit card to enter, but when exiting the machine did not recognize the card and our car could not leave. I was stuck at the gate with cars piling behind and eventually an attendant came out to assist. I was also charged a booking fee of $2. The russel street machine needs to be fixed before I would suggest any pre booking. I would suggest an upgrade to number plate scanning technogly would avoid this inefficiency.
What a pain! PayPass does not work on any of the machines. The attendant office couldn't help; "you'll just have to go and get some cash". Currently stuck waiting for rain to pass. Not impressed. They could at least have a notice that it doesn't work before you drive in. Edit: Tried this car park again today and they have fixed the pay pass on the machine near the gate. Upping my rating from 1 to 4 stars.
I like parking here on weekends or public holidays ($16 all day) Great location to the arts precinct, flinders street station, the river etc. The bays are wide and the lighting and access is great If coming here during the week, I’d park elsewhere due to the cost (probably at the casino, and get the tram) Overall, one of the better car parts in Melbourne CBD
Clean, well lit and very surprisingly almost empty. We went on a Friday afternoon and had our pick of spots. Maybe COVID has kept more people away from the city than o expected? Lifts clean and easy to find. Good signage around to indicate best exits. Loose a star because the prices are still way too high. Really wish I owned one of these
I booked in advance but when I got there all the car spaces were taken and I had to drive around for more than 20 minutes until I found someone who was leaving and willing to allow me to park . I am very disappointed that Wilson Parking are happy to take your money for booking in advance but fail to ensure that a space is available.
Reliable, easy to use. Best to book online for price and sure entry. A little dearer than CBD North parking but central and an easy walk into the city or Arts Centre or MCG. Good choice for booked-ahead MCG event parking. Much nicer than same business's other two nearby car parks.
Parking was great but difficult to find signage for entrance & extremely hard to turn into coming from Flinders Street Station side as no right turn. Was extremely confusing for my father & fellow passengers trying to get back to entrance. Better signs needed!!!
Okay, but as you park there and the road gets busy, it takes longer to get out of the parking, so in terms of location it's hectic to get out, at one stage it took me nearly 40 minutes to get out of the car park on a busy night after an event at the MCG
Clean, well lit and very surprisingly almost empty. We went on a Friday afternoon and had our pick of spots. Maybe COVID has kept more people away from the city than expected? Lifts clean and easy to find. Good signage around to indicate best exits.
Paying at the exit boom didn't activate the boom, so I had to speak to a very apathetic and suspicious attendant through the speaker who debated whether I had actually paid. Not the greatest experience, but a decently priced parking garage.
Couldn't find a spot forced to leave and then forced to pay and the guy in the machine help was useless practically called me blind cause there are plenty of parking and was forced to pay like what type of business are you guys running
The parking ticket is the same size of the bank card it is easy to mess up with insertion in the wrong whole. What a poor design! Who even uses paper tickets at all? Hey is the 21st century! Everything is digital now.
Arrived and the boom gate was stuck up with Free Passage on the screen so when we went to leave we had to call up as we had no entry record. Bit of a pain but didn't take too long. Great location though.
My favourite place to park when going into the city. Perfect when going to the MCG with a short walk which is mostly flat (perfect for my 5 year old son). Nice to walk along the Yarra river too.
Yes, horrendous charges. I went in to 'Morning Melodies' at the Art Centre on a Monday morning for just over 2 hours and was charged $64.00. Never again! Even the Art Centre parking is cheaper.
What charges do you nomally expect when you enter at 5am and exit in the evening? They charge you $80 here for all day not early bird or night parking + early bird. These rules are ridiculous
Like the rest of Melbourne a place that people from all over the world beg to come to - and then proceed to change the culture that built the nation they begged to come too
It's a great location but the stand still traffic the last two times when trying to leave with no one in sight or answering phones to sort out is a joke.
Had plenty of parking spot available even on a Saturday. The ticket payment machine was not working, but we were able to pay through the exit gate.
Daylight Robbery. Parked here to watch the Australia World Cup game against France. Little over 2h parked and charged $61. Absurd pricing!
Parked for little over 2 hours on a wednesday morning and was charged $52, Actually crazy!! would expect that for a full day not 2 hours.
Bad man Let everyone drive in when outside parking have lots of space Some one drop a full sign in front of the outside parking entrence
Good location for Olympic park events . Just few minutes walk to the arena. Night parking from $13 only . 24 hrs access . Hassle free .
A hidden gem of a car park on the edge of the city, close to Fed Square. Daytime rates horrendous, weekend rates and after 4pm is good.
Close to everything and always a spare spot! Easy paywave options when coming in and out of gates so no ticket machine needed.
Very confused on how to get out of the car park. Literally one wrong turn and I was going in circles trying to find the exit.
Great parking spot in a good location. Does bottle-neck at peak times and can take forever to leave, but it's usually fine.
Fantastic location to park at, best to pre book prior to arrival for a great deal. Weekends and night time is even better.
Good value on weekends if you are spending a whole day in the city. Close to everything so good to use as a meeting point.
Very central to melbourne CBD, only $10 if you book ahead of time. Very busy, had to park on level 7 on a thursday night.
Great spot if you are looking to see the fed square and don't want to drive in multi storey parkings and getting lost ;)
We generally park here if we stay in Melbourne for the weekend, weekend rates are good but a bit rich during the week.
Waste of space. Imagine all of the better uses for this space than a spot for people to dump their private property.
It's a spacious carpark but NEVER park here for a concert or big event! It took over an hour to exit the carpark!
Online said it was sold out, when arrived around 9am the place was empty!!!!!!hello!!wilson get your parking right
Easy to commute in the city from this point. But there are cheaper options available for the weekend flatrates
3 hrs parking on a Monday was super expensive, wishing we checked the prices 1st $64 for 3 hrs …
Terrible expensive, is a total scam ; 3h $64, never come back again to Federation square in car.
How about saying full when it's full instead of making people drive all the way up you turkeys
I paid using my credit card but I still didn’t get any parking time, they are thieves.
Quite a large car park. Decent night rates. Wouldn't come here during the day though.
Spaces available even though not appearing on website. Worth trying as good location
Excellent customer service. Wilson Customer Service Staff 24/7 available to assist.
Cheap secure parking. I pre booked and just used my ATM card to get in and out.
Reserved online, entered and exited with no problems. Great weekend rates.
As promised, its a car park. Super expensive, but its a car park …
Not the cheapest weekend parking in the city but clean and convenient
Excellent and highly recommended parking choice close to everything.
Pretty good, not outrageous pricing either (for early bird anyway)
Easy in and out. Good spare time before and after the parking.
Undercover parking available. Sorry walk to Federation Square.
Wilsons system of booking online etc is the only way to do it.
So very expensive. Good location, but holy hell. $64/4 hours?
Convenient parking but very pricey. $64 for a 4 hour parking.
Great central parking venue right next to Federation Square.
Be early if events on in city, spots obviously fill quickly
good location but like parking in Melbourne it's expensive
Friendly staff. Good accessibility. Close to yarra .
Convenient parking from the south east of Melbourne
Exorbitant pricing for casual parking over 2 hours
The prices are awful $32 for 1-2 hours of parking
Great if you have a vehicle taller than 2 metres.
Has been one of my go to car parks for years.
Well lit and clean. Easy to find car again
Always problems with the payment machines.
always pre book when parking on a weekday
Perfect for federation square parking !
Nice and close to centre and only 16$
Park your car here. No boats allowed.
Great value and conveniently located.
I park at Fed Sqare on Sat for 16.00
Always a park there at a good price
Sooooo expensive. Avoid if you can.
Great convenienate carparking
Like it. Easy booking online
Parking is always a rip off
Great parking and location
Great online booking rates
$16 flat rate on weekend.
Cheap hassle free parking
Easy access into the city
Convenient but expensive
easy affordable parking
Convenience location
