Currently watching 9:15 pm show in this theatre. Their food station is not available on the 5th floor where the screen is so went to 2nd floor to get food. Aftab was attending customers which he was barely able to. Arrogant and rude. Asked him about card payment he didn't bother informing that it's not working. When asked multiple times he said it's not working and started talking to other customers. When I got annoyed saying there are only 3 customers and he still haven't been able to understand the order I got even more annoyed because my husband called and informed theovie has started. OMG such a horrible horrible experience. The staff is incompetemt Never coming back. It's one of the worst theatres to watch a movie at. Their small popcorn is literally for 250 and there are no combos available. Food hygiene is the worst.

Seats: I like the concept of having hall full of sofa seats. It makes the experience of watching film comfortable but, it's not the case in here. Seat are yes Sofa seats but,they are non reclineable and not comfortable at all. You might end up having a headache afterward. Ambiance: Fine. Ticket price: Expensive for a college going crowed but, in that ticket amount your meal amount is also added. *Not full. I guess only 10% and rest you have to pay. (Smart trick) Sound: It's fine. Not the best surround sound. Washroom: Bad bad bad... Ugh! Blue lights... What were they thinking? You can't even see your hands when you enter. It's a very cleaver trick to hide those dirty toilets I guess. Overall: If you do not get seats anywhere else, you can visit here.

Located on the sidelines of the Western Express highway, just before taking a turn to Kandivali Thakur village. Not a very good theatre in terms of comfort features and management. Parking system is worse and overtly priced. The parking basement actually stinks abd appears quite shabby. Movie ticket prices are cheaper as compared to other multiplexes. The food outside the movie hall is also limited. The security does not allow you to even go inside the mall until the movie timing is very close. Outside there is no arrangement for seating and we have to stand all the time. So better plan your travel accordingly. Don't travel there too early as there is nothing around to roam.

This is on western express highway near Borivali...pay & park is available. There are many screens. I personally prefer booking in imperial one as we can extend our sofa. Also there are offers on book my show. Washrooms are well maintained. the sofas are huge & comfortable. Air - conditioning is good. Sound system is good. Leg space is there you won't feel uncomfortable.. There are lot of food options available here with sitting space. There is drinking water facility near staircase. Staff is helpful. All the latest movies & hit gujrati movies are shown here. They also provide food on seat!. There are also many restaurants nearby in case you want to have proper meal..

The only plus point of this place is its location. It is located right off the Western Express Highway, easily accessible by any means of transport (except railway, of course!). The parking space looks very questionable and unkept. It seems like the property is being maintained by an extremely limited staff. The place felt deserted and could raise security concerns. The worst part was the auditorium where the seats were on the verge of a breakdown or were already broken. Didn’t seem to me like a place where you would take your family for a movie experience. Carnival Cinemas, I believe, is a reputed brand and this location absolutely fails to live upto the value.

Apart from the seats, which are kind of nice, avoid this place like the plague. The ticket prices may be low, but the ambience is utterly horrible. The building is in need of some serious maintenance and proper trained staff. The exit passage is filled with ladders, broken tiles and the lady at the entrance didn't even know how to scan our m-Tickets! The projector malfunctioned right in the middle of the movie and my friend had to call the staff, who took more than 10 minutes to fix it! Unacceptable! Needless to say I'll pay a bit more for the tickets, but this is the last time I go to this place for a movie!

Had very worst experience at my recent experience. All the screen LED strips are not working. Seats are broken and bottle holders are also broken. Need renovation on priority for the screen and interiors too. Suggest to plan for joint venture with other companies like PVR or inox who are providing good comfort against money spent for the movie. Very much bad experience and also missed to mention that I didn't even got the tea in the interval so had to compulsorily buy coffee and also theatre don't keep smaller size of popcorn tub so have to purchase bigger tubs which is waste of money.

Needs lot of improvement. Seats are on verge of breaking literally making creaking sounds and going down. Few are uneven. It requires dusting and cleaning. The drink holder is covered in dirt. There were mosquitoes in the cinema hall. Bathrooms are ok. The exit or the emergency exit is not maintained at all. The steps are uneven, marbles and tiles are broken, and all garbage and unwanted stuff is dumped on the stairs and few blocking the passage. Did a mistake of not taking pictures, else would have posted them.

It is touching the highway, and is close to a U-turn on it, so that way the location is fantastic. Hygiene, lighting, and cleanliness, however, is an issue here. The lobby and security is barely meeting the minimum standards, the lift is old, most of the stores in the mall have shut shop. The restaurant on first floor has fallen from its prior quality, and the carnival cinemas and perhaps the ground floor sea food restaurant is its saving grace. This mall has certainly seen better times.

Previously it used to be nice. But recently when we went for the movie Aladdin the floor carpets were stinking. And as we chose 3D the glasses were soo dirty we could hardly see clearly. And as we exchanged and took other glasses it was same,dirty! The quality was very cheap. It was not even like we paid ₹100 for the ticket, it was of ₹240 so we expect better quality. The seats were also not comfortable. The quality of this theatre is diminishing.

The cinema is a decent one. The screens are not to huge and the sound quality does not disappoints you. Has 4 screens and the tickets are priced fairly reasonable. A good mix of Hollywood, Bollywood and Local Marathi and Gujarati Films are screened here. The seats are comfortable for the value paid. Near to the cinema you can have good dine options. Reaching here is convenient no matter what mode you take. Also it has parking facility.

It used to be a great theatre. But apparently it seems the management is not really interested in maintainence of screen, seats, sounds etc. And the audacity to keep the rates expensive, comparing it with Inox and PVR. Don't even consider watching 3D movie here. I think they haven't changed the lamp since they started here. Overall review for this theatre. Avoid this place unless the ticket is 100 bucks. Which it will never be.

First time I went to carnival because I movie which I wanted to watch was not on inox for that day and pvr suddenly canceled the show . Carnival is nice to watch movies but there were rat in the theater ( screen 1 ) I was enjoying the movie and suddenly flet something on my leg and I saw a big rat there . After that I kept my legs up on the chair . Never experienced nor expected that a rat too came to watch movie .

This cinema is just Awesome and comes with great sound quality and picture quality . The food option available here is a wide variety with a great quality and taste. The seats here are very comfortable especially the imperial one are awesome as they are movable seats. The staff here are even quite good. we also have option to eat burger's, fries, rools, pizza ,.etc even the dominos counter is available inside .

Watched a 3D movie, first time visited this theatre, it was actually good. Seating was comfortable, AC was good, sound was better. The theatre looks little shady from outside, but don't you worry, from inside its like any other good place to visit for a leisure time. I can suggest anyone to go here again. The food menu is also reasonably priced and has a good variety. They also provide services over the seat.

Decent cinema house - only reason why annex mall is still operating (apart from carnival rest of the mall is dead) Screen 1,2 on second floor while screen 3 and 4 on 5th floor screen 3 is all sofa, comfortable seating, audio and visual quality is decent. Food is not great but good enough. Parking is available and its parallel to western express Highway so accessibility is not an issue.

Very bad seats, not only are they very uncomfortable due to bad cushioning but also broken, shifted places around the theatre (as it was quite empty)but all seats were the same...... To add to this experience, mosquitos were biting during the movies , yes mosquitos The washrooms too are not in good condition... The ladies washroom was broken....that's what my grandmother said :)

I love this cinemas a lot. But since last 3 to 4 visits, the hygienic levels and neat and cleanliness in theaters are very bad. The imperial theaters seats are stuck with foods stuff, smells a lot. The cloth of seats are torn and full of dust. I requested the staff to clean and maintain. Rest it is always an best experience to watch movies here. Please maintain the theaters.

A nice place for hard core movie buffs . The recliner in imperial are very well maintained and the food.offerings are also very decent and extremely reasonably priced. Speed of service suffers but today that is the case in all multiplex. The parking lot is a night mare with stay dog and cats and stagnant b water cannot take a chance of parking there. Only if I could give -1000 because it was terrible! From the seats to the food even the crowd was cheap! They were not even saying anything to the people who were disturbing! There was no hygiene maintained at all! The seats were broken and smelly! Food was stale. Mosquito flying all over! I mean i have gone to soo many theatres but hand's down this was the worst!

Carnival cinema is very good for watching movies. It has very nice and clear sound quality it doesn't affect our ears. It's picture quality are very good it has also 3d quality. Watching 3D film in these multiples is nice. They didn't take to much money for tickets and other stuff. Their value for tickets and other stuff is very average and I like that about them

The place has lesser cooling during summers it's suffocating when there is too much of a crowd the exist stairs are extremely filthy with pan masala spit every where, one might get infection if stayed longer at the stairs. The cinema hall needs cleaning and replacing of chairs some chairs were broken. Sound system and screening is good that's why 3 star

Don't go for the 11,12 seats on A,B rows in screen 3 thinking they will be in the middle with perfect viewing.. Or in any screen where the row is only till the middle of the theatre. Not only they are to a side, the projection booth is right beside you. Book from C row and the middle seats are 8,9,10. Enjoy. Nice seats. Sofas. And screen is not bad also

Superb place. Nice picture and sound quality in the theatres. Be careful of swiping cards for food or drinks inside as I was a victim of card fraud when I stopped my card for popcorn sitting inside the theatre. Party by cash of you can. If you're using card make sure the pos machine is not rigged or no suspicious thinks are stuffed to it. Thanks

This place is located on the highway. Pretty famous for movies. The seats are comfortable. The leg spacing is good. The floors are properly cleaned. There is a basement parking area as well. You can also purchase food and beverages right outside the movie hall. The picture quality is good. There are washrooms which are kept clean as well

The place is not well maintained. The seats are creaky. The air conditioning is not comfortable. The sound quality also sucks. Was much better 2 years back but apparently has degraded a lot from then. The lighting is also very sparse, even in the corridors. Not a worthwhile experience. Would prefer going to PVR in Growels instead.

The pics I have uploaded of Carnival Annex Mall Borivali. I have paid Rs.300/- for this types of seats. Full of Dirt. Few of them are broken. They are not fixing it. I complained for this also. But no positive reply and manager told me that I cannot do anything about it. They are just ignoring the complaints. Please don't go here.

Theatre is good . Ambiance is also good . Morning shows are always affordable. Under 150/- . Normally weekend night shows are little bit costly starts from 170/- ..... Staff is also good . I went to watch a film in this theater on 30th April 2023 in Screen 2, the quality of seats have deteriorated drastically. Several seats were literally broken and the remaining seats were very uncomfortable. The recline was not working properly and most importantly the seats were unclean. I do not recommend anyone this place.

Has 4 screens , One of which has Reclining Sofas, they are the most comfortable ,rates for imperial screen may be high but totally worth it, Sound system is correct, Rates are okay considering the area, location is very convenient be it by Auto,Bus & For car There's enough Parking. Food prices may be a bit on the higher Side.

Nice place,One of the screens have recliner seats (do not remember the screen number) where you could virtually sleep and watch the movie. If you are lucky, you could watch a movie in the recliner seat. Just like other multiplexes the food is expensive. I wish they had bigger food courts.

they have the worst seats . Get ready for the most uncomfortable movie viewing experience, its not the size or foaming of the seat , but they are not maintained , when you try to recline they come all the way down , putting all the pressure on your back ,the springs of seat are broken .

What a wonderful place. The greatest and the safest amusement park in Mumbai. Must visit for all the age groups. Awesome new rides. The food is a bit expensive over here. But the overall experience was awesome. Also the place is very convenient to visit. No travelling issues.

Carnival Annex Cinemas is a good theatre. It has all the amenities of food court and restrooms. The theater is okay in terms of seating,csn be improved. It's cost effective too. I visited Carnival Cinemas Annex to watch URI, and the screens are good as well.

Good to watch flim n also to have some meal ....there was also a hooka parler not sure about future they provide entry to only major ppl....but mall is not good to roam...but for chain smoker... Behind the mall there are a lot no of chai n cigrate stall...

The screens are decent with good audio quality. Seats are adequate with enough legroom. The building however is not at all maintained send looks kinda old and dilapidated. Its an ok cinema if you stay close by or if tickets are not available anywhere else.

Didn't get a feel of a Mall nor theatre until i reached the 5 floor. I had my show in screen no 3 it had sofa seating in really affordable price in comparison to South multiplexes. The sound system is really really good. Toilets weren't neat and clean.

It is a decent theatre with good seats, proper screen size and good volume. I found it a little costly compared to what services it provides. The best part about it is the sofa (recliner) seats which make the movie experience awesome!

The exit has no lights in the theatre. Extremely dangerous. Also there is a restaurant on the first floor which has blocked most of the fire exit. Huge fire hazard . Cinema hall is well maintained but this aspect takes away the fun

Seats are not is good condition. Paid parking is like an alley in NY and no lights in the lift entrance in basement (parking area). Avoid it if you have a option in GROWEL. Food stalls don't deliver at your seats.

Seats are not good, screen is fine. AC is not strong enough. Ticket rates are less to compared to other theaters, so one can watch a movie at less cost but experience would not be very great due to AC and seats.
