One of the better Italian restaurants in DC. We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, the seafood linguine, Caesar salad and, the chicken Parmesan all delicious. The waitress was efficient and effective, the decor is homey and gives off family style. Definitely reserve a table because walk-ins are very difficult, you won't regret it. More
This might be favorite restaurant in DC—the food, ambiance, drinks, and service were all amazing. Chef Matt Adler has done a great job with Caruso’s, and he’s personally on site finishing up plates and interacting with guests. Can’t wait to go again soon, and highly recommend it to anyone living in or visiting DC!
Caruso's serves all of your favorite classic Italian dishes in their highest form. Every single thing we ordered as better than we expected and we had high expectations. Service was friendly yet professional. I couldn't have been happier with my entire experience at Caruso's More
Had a fabulous evening here. Ordered the calamari, Alfredo, and Ragu and have no complaints. Really decent serving sizes, great service (never an empty glass), and great cocktails! We got the tiramisu to go and it was easily in the top 3 I’ve ever had. We will be returning! More
Terrific food, wonderful service, and very nice atmosphere. I can't wait to go back because I want to try everything on the menu. We had an appetizer, two entrées, two desserts, and drinks. Before tip, we spent around $160, and it was well worth every penny! More
Just fantastic in every way. We had a larger party (thanks again to the staff for accommodating us) and essentially tried almost everything on the menu. We were passing (and fighting over) plates and every single dish was WONDERFUL. Can’t wait to go back !!! More
Phenomenal restaurant in DC. Everything is crafted with meticulous detail and it is apparent the restaurant is a total team effort, as servers, hosts and all personnel work together to ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons. More
Everyone I know in the DC foodie group recommended this place for Italian food. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. Everyone raved about their homemade noodles, and how good it was. So I figured I would order the spaghetti, one of the most
We came in with high expectations from previous reviews and yet this place exceeded them. Cocktails were amazing, we had a very fresh tasting lemoncello martini and a chocolately delicious espresso martini. The calamari was cooked perfectly
Incredible night at Caruso’s. I have been low on Italian American cuisine recently, but this place did justice to all pasta. The dishes all had great flavor and were so simple and filling. The specials of the night were abundant and it was
I was really excited to try this place because so many people had been hyping it up. It was pretty challenging to book a reservation, but finally snagged a table for two. The service was great, but beyond that I do not understand the hype.
We went to Caruso’s for dinner. Had to check out the roost, which was really cool before. Dinner was awesome - garlic bread with Italian queso was a highlight. The chicken parm and penne vodka were delicious. Pasta was excellent, sauce was
This place more than lives up to the hype! You can walk in and sit at the bar (first come seating) or make a reservation for the main dining room and you won’t be disappointed. The semolina dusted calamari ( 16.75) is a huge portion so If
Been coming here a bit and it looks like they got their groove going good. Caruso’s is such a precious nostalgic gem w some serious eye Candy too. We had the tomato basil, eggplant rollatoni, chix piccata, spaghetti meatballs, and Nutella
Best meal I had in DC and maybe the best pasta I’ve ever had. We had the spicy ragu and the Caruso’s alfredo, neither of which you can see because we loaded up too much parmesan on top, and both of which were fantastic. The cocktails were
This is a must-try for all DC residents. Caruso’s does not miss in any category. Service, quality, value for price, dish creativity, and decor are all excellent. Everything is made in house and you can tell. The garlic bread with the four
The whole night at Caruso's was excellent and perfectly balanced. Great service, drinks, food and prices. We had the garlic bread, caeser salad, penne ala vodka, and Alfredo. The garlic bread came with a delicious cheese sauce. The caeser
What a great restaurant. I’ve been here several times now and it never disappoints. The food is prepared so good, the staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. First time I had this seafood dish, shared at table and we all loved it.
Caruso’s started Sunday brunch this past Sunday. We were there immediately. I have to say this was the best brunch we had recently. The service was friendly and comfortable. The food, all of them were delicious and satisfying. Everything
We had a reservation booked for 9:15pm. Unfortunately this place opens at 5pm and closes at 10pm so we had no choice but to hurry up and order as we were a little late. (DC TRAFFIC) After waiting for our food and drinks everyone was not
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in DC. Everything about it is amazing. We first came in search of simple, flavorful, hearty comfort pasta dishes to satisfy the cravings. The homemade noodles and gnocchi are amazing, the menu is
A friend recommend this place to me and we went together. Food was good, reasonably priced and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We had dinner, dessert, and drinks. Staff was really friendly and very accommodating. They are new in the
Caruso's Grocery: One of the best homemade Italian food spots in the dmv! The Caruso Alfredo with truffle butter is the best dish! As a party of seven for a birthday celebration, service was great, but the food here speaks for itself!
I often crave Italian food and when I go out to eat it, I am disappointed. In my head I have this fantasy of Italian food that not many places have lived up to. This was my fantasy meal. It was perfect from start to finish. The salad
Update: We went again recently and really appreciated the host and server— and the chef even stopped by our table. Caruso’s is fulfilling their claim to be the neighborhood Italian spot. Delicious food and great service.
First thing, you should get reservations. My sister and I did not have reservations, and while we did get a seat, we were there right at opening (and there was already a line), and we ended up having to sit at the bar.
One of the best restaurants in DC. Always great service, food and cocktails. Chicken piccata is on the menu again and it's not to be missed. The Nutella cannolis got the seal of approval from this Italian girl! More
You absolutely need to go here! The bartender is a real gem, get to know him! The pasta was fresh, the drinks were delicious, and if you're not careful you'll have too much of both :) Can't wait to go back.
Absolutely delicious food. The garlic bread is actually the best I've ever had.their chicken parm is beautifully created. They also have a very good bucatini with whipped ricotta that is to die for More
Had an amazing experience here! They really take consideration of special occasions. The Alfredo pasta was amazing, and miss out on the Oreo cheesecake! Great portions and service was 10/10. More
I got the Alfredo pasta. It was a rare noodle they made which was delicious and the Alfredo sauce was exceptional and homemade. Do check out this spot if you like noodles or Italian food. More
Probably the best Italian food in DC! We got the fried calamari, meatballs, Caruso’s alfredo & the penne alla vodka, all of which tasted so delicious and fresh. Highly recommend! More
Food: For drinks we got the espresso martini and the Mediterranean margarita. Both were excellent, strong yet flavorful. The espresso martini had a chocolatey undertone.
Caruso’s gave us absolutely amazing night out. I don’t know what took me so long to make it here, but everything was just perfect. Can’t wait to come back. More
Enjoyed a nice evening at Carusos tonight. The food was great and so were the drinks. Highly recommended. The service was excellent as well. Thanks Pedro.
My wife and I had such a wonderful time on October 7 for our anniversary! The service was impeccable and all of our needs were catered to before we could
I found Caruso’s on a PBS food show and since I was visiting DC, I had to go and try their Italian American food.
