18/07/2023 CAR WISE LDV, Xceed autos Pty Ltd Subject: Complaint Regarding LDV Bus Purchase and After-Sales Service I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my utmost dissatisfaction with my recent experience purchasing an LDV Bus from your dealership and the subsequent handling of issues that arose shortly after the purchase. On 23/06/2023, I purchased a brand new LDV Bus from your dealership. To my dismay, within one week of the purchase, the vehicle experienced a severe breakdown, rendering it inoperable. I immediately contacted your workshop and notified them of the issue, hoping for a swift resolution. However, the experience that followed has been nothing short of a nightmare. The vehicle was taken to your workshop for repairs, but instead of resolving the issue, it appears that the vehicle suffered additional damage during the repair process. This is completely unacceptable and has caused significant inconvenience and financial burden to me. I expected a brand new vehicle to be reliable, and the current situation has shattered my confidence in the product and your after-sales service. To make matters worse, your workshop seems unwilling to take responsibility for the damages caused and has suggested that I should take the vehicle back without it being adequately fixed. This is simply unacceptable, as I refuse to accept a faulty vehicle that can potentially cause more harm down the road. Moreover, I was informed that I would be charged for not taking the vehicle back, which is not only unfair but adds insult to injury. Throughout this ordeal, the communication and response from your workshop and dealership have been extremely slow, leaving me in the dark about the status of my vehicle and the progress of the resolution process. This lack of responsiveness and accountability has only added to my frustration and disappointment. I expect immediate action to be taken to rectify the situation. I demand that my LDV Bus be thoroughly inspected, repaired to an excellent working condition, and compensated for any additional damages caused during the repair process. Furthermore, I request a written assurance that such issues will not arise in the future and a clear explanation of how you plan to prevent such incidents. I trust that you understand the gravity of this situation and will take the necessary steps to address my concerns promptly. I urge you to treat this matter with the utmost urgency to avoid further escalation. If my concerns are not adequately addressed within a reasonable timeframe, I may have no choice but to seek legal assistance and share my negative experience with others, including on social media platforms and relevant consumer review websites.

Whilst looking for my boyfriend's first ever car, I found a car at LDV that I instantly fell in love with. Everything looked amazing at face value and it was a huge upgrade from the car I had at the time. Despite my strong distrust for car dealerships, I had a good feeling and decided to take the leap. The dealer wouldn't allow my brother (a mechanic) to scan the car for any potential problems until a deposit was made. He also promised 3 months warranty if any problems did arise after purchase. With warranty as a safety net, I bought the car and was in love- until oil started leaking from the rocket gasket and the SRS light appeared on my dash. "No problem", I thought. It has warranty. I took the car in and the men were more than happy to help. I drove away and mere days later, the car was leaking oil again and the SRS light had returned. So, I emailed the dealership and was met with a pathetic "your car is older than 10 years old, so the warranty is void. We repaired your car out of good will." Of course, after threatening to involve fair trading, LDV invited me to bring my car in for ANOTHER inspection and repair. This time they actually did their job- or so I thought. Two weeks ago, my car was leaking puddles of oil. I rang my mechanic brother who urged me to go to the nearest mechanic I could find. The mechanic was astounded by what he saw. He regrettably informed me that whoever had done my last major service (of course, it was LDV) had screwed the cap too tightly on the oil filter, to the point where it had pierced the filter and it had now cracked, leaking large quantities of oil everywhere. If I had driven for 10 more minutes, he said my engine would have ran out of oil and imploded. Along with this, my rocket gasket cover had never been replaced, as LDV had ensured me. Instead, it had been temporarily sealed with silicone. How convenient that it was a temporary fix that would last just long enough that the promised 3 month warranty would be voided by the time it became a problem. And, of course, bad things come in threes. That same day, I found out that LDV had never supplied me with a wheel lock key. The mechanic found this out as he was unable to remove my wheel to access my rocket gasket cover without it. I can't even say I was surprised with anything this mechanic was telling me. Car dealerships have a horrible reputation for a reason. I will personally never trust any dealership again and I was stupid enough to do so in the first place. LDV sold a car that was a huge safety risk and tried to trick me out of repairing it by blaming the age of the car rather than their incompetence. As promised, fair trading will definitely be getting involved.

My name is Diana Alexiou and I have been going to LDV Carwise Mechanics at Penrith for 6 yrs. Up until last year I was very happy.... but the last few years I noticed a lot of staff turnover which concerned me somewhat but just pushed it aside. Due to severe cataracts I have been legally blind since February this year (2023) and not allowed to drive so on Thursday May 18th I had my car booked in for a service....I asked if one of the ladies would be kind enough to pick up my car and drop it off. I then prepared a note in writing asking the mechanics if they could please do a service, replace the 2 mechanical parts I was asked to buy as a result of the Rats eating them off my motor (the mechanics showed me photos of the Rats nest several months earlier).....and clean the Rats nest. When I received my car the young lady told me although they replaced the parts eaten by the Rats the light was still on (on the dashboard) saying there is still a problem. They suggested I should go to their Auto Electrician to further check why the light was still on. I went to the electrician, and long story short discovered my car was overheating and the Rats nest was NOT cleaned ....the Electrician told me the rats nest was an easy clean (which he did) and he saw the literature I was given where the mechanics printed off saying they did not have the correct equipment to clean the Rats nest.....THE ELECTRICIAN SAID THAT WAS A LIE. The Electrician asked me to take the car back to him in a few weeks where he can spend more time checking why the light is still on. When I got home I REALLY noticed my car was overheating......I checked the water level and almost burned my face.....the car was empty of water. The end result for this lengthy note is to say my car was NOT PROPERLY SERVICED ....the rats nest was not cleaned and the water was not replenished. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH LDV CARWISE PENRITH and will never ever go there again.

Come Wednesday afternoon no car was told the wrong had come in and it would be Thursday come Thursday afternoon still no van it was than changed to Friday. Received phone call at 4:15pm saying that the car was ready and they finish at 4:30pm but was back for another client to pick up a car and they would be gone by 5:00pm. Git there just in time went and got my key's walked to Van and first I noticed was the driver side weather shield was missing went back and asked the question where is the weather shield was I told we never took it off. Than they was told get proof that a weather shield even existed on the Van, one bracket was still attached to the door. So I left and rang carwise and spoke with a guy by the name of Shane explained the situation he than called me a liar and that how couldn't believe that a weather shield even existed. STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE CENTRE THEY DAMAGE CARS FURTHER TO THIS I have since had a report done on the Van and have found out that the work carried out was of substandard workmanship and further $3700 to fix issues that has never been addressed correctly as advised today buy another LDV Dealer this will now be taken to Fair trading

Thanks to Jimmy and Sam and Gerry yet again for the great service and great deal -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks again for a great sales experience, this morning I picked my wife's in as new condition for a great price Audi A4. As usual the trip to buy the car was the easiest, due to the great work of Jimmy, Sam, Gerry, Jarrod and Frank. This is car number 4 now from Carwise, the aftermarket support is brilliant and the ongoing service from Ross in the service department is great with nothing to much trouble for the guys. I wish I had found this dealership 20 years ago Highly recommended 5 star service Thanks again Elizabeth and Andrew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sam and the guys where very helpful with the purchase of our new Audi TT which we love, the service was 1st class. This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchased from Carwise and are currently buying a 3rd vehicle from them. Good work Guys Andrew and Elizabeth As a follow up with the service I have found that I am blown away by the quality and pricing of the services. Worse experience ever. First i booked an inspection later they called me and told me the manager took the car away for personal reason and asked me to come next day. i took half days leave from work and went for test drive. Second they asked for price $48500 and i offered $46000 which they agree then went i went next day and they were adding warranty charges, government charges and all other charges which was not mentioned over the phone and i did not agree to pay the additional $1400 and offered $46K as per initial conversation but they didnt agree which was absolute fine but the guy called Jim he has the audacity to tell me i am a time waster whereas they didnt disclose other fees and charges over the phone, i was buffled. if i was the time waster i could have offered only $30k which i didnt. i also work in customer service client many times ask for way lower interest rate but i dont tell them they are time waster, it is their right to counter offer. I feel sorry for the employer who puts their hard earned money into the business and employer like Jim shows the attitude that losing client doesnt matter to them. Hopefully the employer will read this review and have a coaching session with hisemployee.

I made the mistake of buying a used Ute off the used car lot. It come with 3 months warranty and took to them 3 times with warranty problem in the end the warranty department said there’s nothing wrong with it and told me it’s a used car and they can’t make it into a new car so I will end up fixing it myself. Just don’t expect them to fix your car under warranty. If I had read the customer reviews before I purchased my Ute I would never have purchased my Ute from them. UPDATE on my warranty problem with car wise Kingswood. After replacing all the idlers pulleys and alternator the bearing noise was still there. Ended up being the spigot bearing and thrush bearing were completely stuffed. So I replaced the whole clutch and new spigot bearing and the bearing noise has completely gone. So after getting told numerous times by car wise Kingswood that the noise was normal. They were WRONG and I was right . It cost me a fair amount of my own money to fix what the warranty should have covered. As I said don’t trust these people.

I assure you I am a customer from CARWISE LDV. Again, completely dodging any responsibility. Gerry, we’ve spoken face to face in your office. Lemon vehicle. Have had to service my T40 3 times this year, at my own cost & time. Only ever had it serviced here since new, oil leak 6 months in. Charged me for the ‘fix’ of course. Other issues: -Touch screen radio does not work, constantly freezes and reboots whilst driving. -CarPlay hardly works ever, needs resetting and setup pretty much every time you want to use it. -360 camera comes up as a blank green screen, with 2 cameras failing altogether. -Suspension is warped from the factory, with no attempt from this dealer to acknowledge or resolve. Passenger wheel facing a different direction, was told it’s normal! Oh & I never received my car mats as promised guys. It’s on the contract. Regret buying this ute. Look elsewhere before you consider LDV. LDV - What a joke.

Needed my car to go in on warranty and was just enquiring if the issue was covered. Manager (Shane or shaun) told me to stop being anxious and for me to ring on Monday to speak to service department. I'm sorry mate but if you're in sales you should know what's covered by warranty and not to tell me I'm being anxious. I'm making an enquiry. Not only that but when purchasing the ute was told it would come with the bull bar and all me ready in 2 weeks. Took forever because they kept saying didn't have the bullbar in. Then when the bull bar was fitted it was fitted incorrectly which then when taken back was told thats how they all are.... then don't do it ya tossers. Kingswood would have to be the worst dealership. Since then have been going to Windsor auto group and they are amazing and have been nothing but helpful and kept us updated with this warranty issue with the lemon kingswood sold us.

Shifty dealership straight up mislead me, on multiple occasions. They said the rego had 6 months left, it was 3. They said there was no damage, there was a chip in the windshield. They said they'd give me $4k for my trade in but on the day of the sale tried to wipe an entire $1k off. I held my ground and they honoured the price. Worst of all, I asked if the negotiated price inc Stamp Duty and transfer fees which Alastair said it did. Months later I found out it didnt and now I'm up for an unexpected $1k inc $126 in a late fee. The manager Sam admitted on the phone to me that Alastair made a mistake because he comes from the new car department and didn't know the difference in internal policy. But yet he refused to do the honourable thing and hasn't gotten back to me since I emailed a formal complaint a week ago. I have now submitted a complaint to ACCC. Avoid these dodgy guys at all costs.

Bought my ldvT60 pro here just over a week ago. Very happy with my Ute sales manager Shane was a pleasure to do business with during covid, he kept me updated on my Ute. I had a small issue with the battery going flat lasted only 3 months. I contacted roadside assistance who replaced my battery. New battery died with in 8 day called roadside assistance who organised my Ute to be towed to the dealer I then contacted Carwise and spoke to Gerry the owner who organised a call back from the sales manager Shane who was great as always he assured me my ute will be looked at on Monday and if there is a issue they will fix it as as give me a me a loan car until my Ute is fixed. I’m happy and grateful for the service provided to me. Thank you Gerry and Shane for making this issue less stressful I will defiantly be recommend you. Thank you for the great customer service.

2 years ago we were looking at purchasing an LDV from a Nowra Dealership, we had a bad experience with this particular dealership and the Salesman we dealt with and I was put off purchasing an LDV. But 4 weeks ago we made enquires about the availability of an LDV T60 Max Luxe Auto from Carwise LDV at Kingswood. We spoke with a lovely gentleman by the name of Con, who was available to chat with at any time and answer all our questions. He met our needs for when it suited us to pick the car up as we were travelling 5 hours to get there and sat in the car and explained all the gidgets and gadgets before we drove away. My Husband and I had the best experience with Carwise Penrith. I wanted a passenger van to travel, pack the bikes and luggage in and just enjoy the beach life. Carwise LDV and the Team- Zafer and Matt were professional, friendly, not pushy and welcoming to 'lookers' who didn't know what they wanted yet. Needless to say the experience we had lead us to purchase a G10 Executive and we are over the moon with the quality and price! Staff must not need to sell cars.. My husband and i went yesterday afternoon to talk to someone and look at an LDV G10 van. The staff were busy at first which is fine, we asked if they had a van we could look at while they set up a T/D for another customer. They unlocked the van and said they would be with us in about 5mins while they sent the other customer on an T/D.. We left half an hour later after standing around waiting to be seen, the sales guys were just inside chatting with each other and they then started serving another customer that just came in instead of us. Disappointing to say the least now we are buying from another dealership.

I was an interstate purchaser of a vehicle that appeared on LDV carwise website, I sent an equiry to them, the next day Jim phoned me about the said vehicle. Jim was totally up front about himself and the vehicle I purchased from him, he was very warming and understanding about the second hand vehicIe that I purchased. Went there to test drive a s3. Got told i need to do a finance check before i can even test drive the car to see if i want to purchase it... how the hell do i know if i want the car if i havent been able to test drive the car. Btw didnt ask anything else but how will you be paying, when i answered x cash plus finance thats when he went straight to that. Never asked if i wanted there finance as i was already preapproved by my own bank for the rest of the cost of the vechile. If i had actually liked the car would of had a sale then and there.

The best experience with a dealership ever. I walked in and started opening doors and looking around and the only thing anyone said was "yell out if you need anything". After 15 minutes of looking i made the hand gesture of "get the keys" Paul bought out the keys and blah blah with paper work. had the finance approved the next day, (due to it being so late in the day). picked it u the next day. and noticed a scratch in the door after already signing the papers. They had it touched up free of charge.

I have come across kumsy and service team recently I would rate them top class .I Had an issue with my ldv Dash screen their response towards the issue was very very quick order a new screen and replaced for free all works perfect . I had very bad experience with other ldv service centres and problem never solved but kingswood team are game changers for me they know what they doing good part I don’t need to wait for months to get small problem fixed .

We had an amazing experience dealing with Con so helpful even on his day off, can honestly say this is the first time we have ever brought a car from sitting on the lounge at home but we knew what we wanted and Con made it that simple. Since I bought my LDV T60 and every car service I did with this car dealer, it has been a nightmare and a source of disappointment. This car dealer not only tries to trick you, but the workshop team demonstrates negligence and incompetence. They are always ready to talk to find a solution and save appearances but never keep their word. Don't get me wrong, I love my T60, but I highly recommend finding another LDV car dealer.

Recently I ordered a new LDV van for my business from Alastair and the entire process was flawless. I purchase on average 2 commercial vehicles per year and while I do not shop around for the cheapest price or most convenient, I found Alastair to be very competitive and found this experience the simplest and least pushy unlike most 'typical' dealers. Took my Ute with a busted gearbox, and the team put a new gearbox in after assesment. Total turnaround was 2 weeks and I couldn’t be more happier, Great staff to deal with and extremely helpful and pleasant, with the repair team actually taking the effort to deal with the Ute asap, Definitely won me over as a client now and future.
