…………When you phone to make a reservation they respond with-in 15 minutes via sms to confirm it, this is a move up using latest technology. We love this restaurant as it’s always kiff to visit here where there is a grand vibe and a swell ambiance and it’s many options of where to sit, down-stairs close to a window so you can mix your enjoyment of your meal with gazing at all the passer-by’s or you can set up-stair’s away from the madding crowd. Our return here was because they had a Hyperli Voucher-special which offered a Gourmet Lunch with an exclusive Wine Tasting Experience. For us it was an unknown adventure as we did not quite know what the food options would be. When we arrived we we’re met by “Ever-more” our waitress and was ushered to our reserved table next to the window just as we like it. “Ever-more” then explained the meal options which can be chosen from the Daily-Lunch Specials menu of Any Pizza, any dish of Pasta, 250g Rump-steak or Parmesan Crusted Chicken schnitzel with chips of your choice and also a sauce of your choice. The Wine-Tasting would be two glasses of white wine and one glass of Red wine. We started our meal as always when we are here with the Sour-dough bites served with crushed-chili, crushed-garlic and parmesan cheese. This is by-far one of the most intriguing starter-bites we have ever had and it’s only here were they serve it as it’s made from the same dough that the pizzas are made of (off-cuts) it is so insidious-lii delicious. Our main-meal was one 250g Rump-steak serve with thick-cut potato chips and a Parmesan Crusted Chicken-schnitzel (2 pieces) served with sweet-potato thick-rings and a pepper sauce Our meals were fresh and delicious as always complimented by the three glasses of wine. Must say “Ever-More” was on point and very friend-lii even the new floor manageress who came by just to say Hi was just as friend-lii. Just so that people know they have a full menu that offers many different food options from Pastas to Sea-foods and Grills also Pizzas even a delicious Lamb-shank, etc, etc. The Wine List is just as good with its large selection of good quality wine on offer. The restaurant has a snazz-ii style of decor depending at which entrance you come in, if you enter at the side you walk right into the Pizza counter with the Pizza-ovens behind it and the wood logs stacked up high also the cluster of lamp-shades hanging from the high ceilings and a view of the upstairs area. If you enter at the main front door you see the love-lii stylish bar and the big restaurant area stretching all the way to the back wall which has some nice home-lii writings on, We again noticed the advert of Salsa classes which takes place here on a Friday evening from 20:30 maybe worth a visit to experience the vibe and atmosphere……For us this is a good place to enjoy good food at affordable prices………………

I'm leaving 3 stars but bearly so. A group of 12 seated together as a couples dinner date. 3 course meals bought with coupons on wikideals. The reception was warm until we started asking questions regarding the changed menu from what's online and the physical menus. The hostess Petunia dismissed my friend and told her to chat to the waitress instead of her in a very rude way. We understand that because we were a large group the logistics are sometimes tricky but there was hardly an attempt from the kitchen to give good service. Food took very long to get to the tables. The complimentary bread was OK. The starter was nice but three people sent their food back because the pasta was overcooked and the tomotoe sauce in the pasta tasted like it came strait from the can. The oxtail was not very tasty and the steaks got mixed up and three people did not enjoy it because we later discovered that they mixed up the orders. The chef came to apologise and handed us some complimentary drinks and a slice of cheese cake because not all the desserts advertised were available. They Had sold out but later found two fudge Picasso somewhere at the back. The chef and the waitress put in a good effort. The kitchen and the hostess was a big let down. I don't think I will ever revisit. Really need to rethink your hostess. If you looking for a great time rather try somewhere else but if you two people then maybe. It seems when the pressure is on, on a busy day then you probably will be let down.

Dissapointing. I have been at Casa Bella before and had fantastic dinners,but what a massive let down on the day I decided to take a larger group on the voucher options they had. The other times I went was no voucher,but there is a massive descrepncy to clients who come with a voucher and those who are ordering without a voucher. On the night I went with my vouchers none of their wide selection of their side orders were available with their grills, the only available side was thick cut chips,because it was easier to prepare for a larger group. This however is not stated in the fine print that larger groups are not allowed to pick and choose a different side order. This is disappointing to say the least as all patrons pay for a menu that did not deliver and which promised a selection. Due to us being a large group we felt discriminated against as smaller tables were allowed to choose side orders that they wished to have but a larger group could only select one side, which was thick cut chips which the ladies in the group did not enjoyed. I was informed on the day of my visit that we as a larger group would not be able to select any other sides with our grills beside chips,as there is limited supplies for the selection of sides.If we knew this ahead that larger groups do not have a choice on sides we would have been beter informed and I wouldn't have told.my group of ladies they can choose side. the waiters were however on ooint and efficient.

Not very good customer service at all. We booked the top section of the venue for a 60th from 14h00 until 17h00. When we arrived there, another function was taking place. They only concluded after 16h00 and after cleaning up the place, our function started at 17h45. At 18h30 our food order was taken. We were about 40 people. Our food was only brought to us from 21h15 onwards. While waiting frustratingly long for our food, we ordered dessert in the meantime. Hoping that dessert would be served shortly after our food was done. The dessert only came to us after 22h00. The manager, Nathaniel, explained to us that the earlier function started late. But it was clearly just not good customer service that caused the long delay. There was enough staff on duty, but somehow we waited for hours, some of us from before 12h00 to set up the selected area for 60th celebration. Although the food was very good, they got so many orders wrong. The service is the worst service I ever experienced at a restaurant. I will never ever ever ever go back to Casa Bella Grand West again. Not even for a free meal. They do not care about customers who book the venue for group functions. Their service deserves a minus 10. Too bad I can't even give them a 0. But they probably won't even care about what rating I am giving them. Because the certainly did not care about how they treated us on the 29th of May.

Not my first visit. Pizza usually good. Party of 11, double Birthday Celebration. We took advantage of the voucher option, 3 course meal. Starters were pizza, which was good and all enjoyed. Mains were a bit disconcerting though. Pasta dishes were good. We ordered 2 Rump mains. It was just steak and chips at the end. Both were cold, lacking marinade and I sent mine to be reheated. Thank goodness I ordered medium to well, so it wasn't dead when it was returned. Desert was a let down. Again told, that menu options were limited, so it was tiramso (not sure on the spelling), this was a let down to. Tasted sour, lacked ingredients from the traditional recipes and the soaked bottom, was just a smidgen of the base or none. The chocolate fondoo was supposed to be a haven of chocolate delight, but tasted like milo, lacked chocolate and there was a little chocolate centre of gooeyness. Drinks options were limited on availability on the evening. How difficult is it to stock up on a simple beer. Guess the foreigners aren't in Town, so the standards have dropped. A very big disappointment, as I skip lunch, to have a supper delight, but failed...‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

Use to eat here frequently, was there on 13 Nov. The restaurant was a quarter full, the personnel made such loud notice, screaming, shouting, talking, laughing throwing and dropping things on the floor in the kitchen, for the entire time that we were there! We complained to the manager, Joe on duty, who informed us that he spoke to the staff twice, but they are not listening to him! Seriously! We ate our starter, and took our mainz and desert home, as we could not have a decent conversation, we could not hear each other talk! Shocking! The food that we brought home, lamb shank had a large piece of plastic in, which I nearly swallowed as well as a blue piece of something like a tag which you would use to put a price on clothes!! The previous time we had supper there, I also found a foreign plastic object in my food, the owner was there, but he was very non-chalant about it, as if it was nothing serious.... This time it was worth. It is such a pity that the decent restaurants at Grand-West is falling apart!

After been contacted by management re my 1 star rating I gave Casa Bella, (review below) we went back for the meal we did not have that day. The service this time was excellant and the food really good. Thank you for contacting me and for upholding the standard of service always received at your restaurant. I have changed my rating. What a disappointment today at Casa Bella, my friend and myself went for lunch. Entered the restaurant at 1pm and saw that the only other occupants was a table occupied by 3 gents. So not busy at all. The waitress who seated us was great. Orderded our pizzas and then the wait began. Went to speak to the manager at about 1:35 to ask what was the hold up and was told that he was making our pizzas. He said it would be ready in less than 5 minutes. Eventually walked out at 1:55pm without getting our food. Do not want to know how long we would have waited had the place been busy. Pathetic service. On walking out was told our pizzas was going into the oven. Sorry to late.

The mini breads that we received was wonderful just missed butter. The starter of Mussels was perfectly cooked and creamy. There was a lack of flavour to the sauce but nothing that salt, pepper and garlic can’t fix. The bread with the mussels was also slightly stale. The mains, overall, was delicious. 1. The pasta is freshly made and is cooked to perfection. I had the Saltimbocca and found that all the seasoning and flavour sat on top of the dish. With a layer of ham just below the mushrooms and bacon. I found that this layer of ham made it slightly difficult to mix the pasta and the flavours. However, I found that the pasta got better when I ate it the next day. 2. The rest of the mains, was said to be lovely. Finally the ambience and our server (Nomvuyo if I’m not mistaken) was delightful. If you are looking for a date night, this is the place to go.

So my bf and I was at Casa Bella last night and we had a good waitress who gave us good service (I won't and lie we were impressed ) she checked up on us as much as she could even though the manager never came to check on us not even once which wasn't a problem. Fast forward to when we were ready to pay our waitress told us that their machine was offline and we had to go to the front of shop to pay which wasn't a problem.Paid our bill with a card and left but as soon as we left the restaurant we checked our receipt and realised that our bill was way too high and went back to the restaurant and looked for our waitress and we asked to see out bill on the system and she figured that we had caught how she had crooked us by over charging us with an amount of R120 and she quickly acted fast asking how much she was owing us and gave us our money back but we were very disappointed.

Had our year end function 14/12/2018, paid upfront for the meals in August for 20 pax. Most horrid experience. The food was not served together. One of the guests food arrived when everyone had actually finished or sent back their meals. Most people had returned theirs as the standard was disgusting. I personally ordered the lamb shank and mash (and spinach that never arrived) lamb was dry, gravy like some kind of tasteless soup and the mash had hard chunks in it. Desserts arrived and most of the guests had already left. Total spend in excess of R15000.00 for substandard food and non existing service. Had the restaurant been packed to capacity I would have understood the service issues. I will definitely NOT be back. They were out of their depth. Quite an embarrassing situation as I had arranged the venue and menu. They do not deserve one star :-(

My my and I had a date night at Casa Bella Grand West, it certainly was a busy evening for the staff.  As we entered we were told by 1 of the staff that there is a possible 30 minute wait for your meal, yes we accepted the wait and no doubt it was worth it.  The service received was overwhelming.  We we attended to by the manager (Justin) who himself was on the roll with his team ensuring customer service was met. Every member of the staff had a smile displayed as they went about their duty.  I do believe the gentleman assisting in the preparation of meals was the owner, who himself was just active as his staff was in ensuring service delivery.  Casa Bella Grandwest certain deserves my 5 Star rating and a revisit.  Thank you team Casa Bella and a special thanks to Justin for his excellent engagement with us. We go to Casa Bella often, and usually very happy with all round good service and food, but our experience on Saturday was disappointing because of very poor service. Firstly we waited very long for drinks and food to be served. I then accidentally knocked over my full drink all over myself, table, chair and the floor. We called our waitress and apologized and explained what happened. She then only gave us extra napkins and walked away. I ended up cleaning the floor, table, chair and myself as best I could and left the wet napkins on the floor. I would have expected somebody to bring a mop and at least clean the floor and offer us a new table ....there was about 8 open tables available.

We were 4 people that came for supper. I ordered grilled salmon. While eating I pulled a strand of hair from my mouth. The manager came to apologize and said that maybe it came from while the waiter was bringing the food to us. I said that's not possible as it was in the fish. She then said that it maybe from the supplier and will follow up with then.This caused me to lose my appetite. We needed additional serviettes and cutlery at different times at our table and called Touriq several times and to our surprise he failed to respond, he was only about 2m away and it wasnt noisy for him not to hear. Touriq treat all customers the same.Despite the horrible experience I would like to complement out waiter Rivesh for excellent service.

What a lovely experience visiting Casa Bella today at Grandwest today as a kid, we once visited them, but that was long ago, so it was quite an exciting moment today to visit them again. 5 + Stars as we had the best time ever, we booked a table for our Ladies Team building function, and they were so accommodating with their quick and efficient service, and the food was amazing. From the wine to the pasta and even the pizza was amazing. The best part is that while you wait for your food, you get these little pizza dough balls that you can eat, and it's also amazing. I will definitely recommend this restaurant

Such a pleasant surprise! Being in a casino I wasn't expecting too much.(which was later proven right at Hussar Grill with their stinking attitude.) Glad we made the right choice of eating here - great service, great food, great vibes. We kept getting attacked by the aroma of neighbor's food and you could see people were happy and satiated all around. You could also see thoughts have been put into everything, even the lovely takeaway boxes. The fried bread nuggets in a paper bag were to die for, and I don't even like bread. My salmon was cooked to perfection and all these served with a smile and professional staff, starting from the door. Special mention to Emma for the sterling experience. Keep up the great work and we will definitely be back.

My husband and I went there on Tuesday for date night. Since this restaurant has date nights on Tuesdays, we thought we'd give it a try. The atmosphere was good and the service was really great. The food though was not what I would have expected. I felt like it was subpar and bland. The few choices for date night left us with a very small selection of meals. I had the crumbed chicken breasts but they were dry as as the desert. I truly didn't enjoy it. The wine was good though that came with the meal, but I won't be going back. Was just not my cup of tea. Someone else may enjoy the food though.

Just returned home from a rather unpleasant dining experience at your restaurant. It was the second time we visited Casa Bella and since we have 2 young kids, we don't get to dine alone often. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and was bitterly disappointed. The sauce was quite bitter and a little under seasoned. The spaghetti and mince to sauce ratio was way off. I could only assume that you ran out of both spaghetti and mince so late in the evening and just decided to kill it with sauce. One really feels cheated when you finally get some alone time and you spend it having a bad dining experience. In any event, it was the complete opposite from our first experience at your restaurant. I hope you guys are able to address this.

Mmm was relatively empty. We were seated. We ordered drinks and received bread for the table. The bread arrived in a brown paper bag....strange and it was warm. Small dough balls...pizza dough balls.. Bit into it. OH MY GLORY BEANS!!! Darn it, this was ooh lalalalala yummy!! We dipped it into the condiments of garlic flip, which was so good. Ordered pasta. Wow!! Plates were large, filled, you could see your food, taste......ah...delicious l!!! WE ARE DEFINITELY COMING BACK The manager was friendly, the waitresses helpful. Our money was well spent. Did a date night with my husband and we decided to try Casa Bella in GrandWest. I ordered a pasta and husband had steak and a chop with side fries. I also tried their Turkish delight milkshake and my husband had their strawberry daiquiri. The food and drinks was delicious the only thing that put us off was that my husband ordered a mushroom sauce to go with his steak and by the time the sauce arrived he was halfway done eating, also the waiter was just a bit too slow but they were also busy so we kind of understood but do think they should’ve had more waiters but I would still recommend anyone to try them out if your in GrandWest.

Normally I would get me a take-away pizza when I go to enjoy the music at Jackson's Hall. I'll ask the waitron helping me to bring it to my table. Never had an issue before. Tonight was different. After almost 30 mins I went to check up on my order as it was not delivered yet. Only for the waitron to "expedite" my order (only place my order 30 mins later). Pizza did not meet my expectations as it's basically the same I always order, no condiments.... I've always only spoken highly of casa Belle, I've been a patron since it's Belle Gina days, after this experience, I will not do so again.

Was greeted by a friendly hostess - we were 2 hours early for our reservation and was warmly assured it was not a problem. Food was fantastic, service was great and will definitely recommend visiting Cassa Bella. Had a steak strip pizza which was superb and those pizza dough snacks which are complimentary are to die for :) all in all, a wonderful experience. Be prepared to wait around 20-30 minutes as all of their ingredients are freshly made - all the pasta and pizza doughs are made from scratch. Taking that into consideration, 30 minutes is worth the wait so go there to relax and enjoy a good meal.

Terrible experience at Casa Bella GrandWest. A steak was sent back because it had basting sauce on it, the menu only stated olive oil, salt and pepper. Waiter took it to the kitchen and simply wiped the sauce off and returned the same piece of meat not even 30 seconds later. Waitress mixed up our drink order and manager explained that all voids are docked off of the waitresses pay. The manager would not even come to the table once I asked to speak to someone. The waitress just he "He said there is nothing he can do"! Poor service and poor management too.

Food was disgusting, Asked for meat to be well done. Is was raw. Sent it back, they washed the meat under a tap, made it well done and gave it back to me. Food had absolutely no flavor. The pepper sauce was thick and lumpy. Calamari was salty and rubbery, Manager agreed that the meat was disgusting, after he tasted it. Says he is always on duty to QA the food, but someone missed my dish, twice Told us that he fired 3 chefs in the space of a month Would never go back

Even though I've only been here once, it's slowly becoming one of my favorites. Their table 'bread' alone will make me go back. They serve packets of lightly salted mini vetkoeks, so good, I ordered another 2 bags of them. Their pizza were amazing with a soft and crisp base and fresh quality ingredients. Flavourful on every slice. Not one thing to be disappointed by, and will return for the rest of the menu. To tip it off, the service received was fantastic! Friendly and knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile.

Had some delicious fried calamari with zuchinni fries at Casa Bella but the ultimate show stopper was these AMAZING mini vetkoek/bread dough pillows with a light sprinkling of flavoured salt. I would be content eating a bag of these doughy delights every day. They pair really well with crushed garlic & olive oil. Step aside ring donuts, these are my latest "fave comfort food". The pic doesn't do these melt-in-your-mouth mini breads justice.

Quite disappointed that our team social was spoiled by the experience at this place. There was no reason to take more than 2 hours to bring it food, taking into account that we booked and the restaurant was empty at the time. The waitress was nice, but should have let us know what was going on. Can't complain too much about the food. It wasn't impressive but we ordered the lunch special. Definitely not worth the wait, though.

What an awesome time we had today at Casa Bella for my mum's 80th birthday. Happy to take a booking for 9 people and the service and food was outstanding. Large helpings (everybody took home doggy bags-yummy). I must give a special shout out to Justin, our fantastic waiter. Thank you for making us feel like we were at home thank you for making my mum feel so special. She hasn't stopped talking about it and how nice you were.

I ordered the gnocchi Gorgonzola and I usually love them! But this time they were beyond salty!!!!! I couldn’t eat any of them, disgusting! The chef should learn to try while cooking…… It was a waste of money! Casa Bella got in touch with me and made up for their mistake. I’m sure it was a once off and won’t happen again….I hope! I ordered about R500 worth of food from them. Received a call to say they have no vegan stuff available, I took the lasagne and Pizza and alfredo. I really like the simple and concise menu with a nice selection of pasta, pizza and few other grills and meat options. The portions for the pasta is well appreciated and the pizza tastes really great. The service was pretty good, we were in a rush because of a show but the waitress accommodated us well. Zapper is a form of payment here as well. Would return for the pizza and pastas.

We went to Casa Bella for my dads Birthday and we were highly disappointed with the Ribs {Which were my dads} and my mom had the pork Belly and it was burnt and unseasoned... the waiter said every second batch that he gets from the supplier is bad... But they still served it... anyway we wont be coming back unfortunately...

Burrata on our pizza was frozen, asked for it to not be frozen, same open cut one came back, less frozen but it was still icy and watery like it had been defrosted. Barely any mozzarella on the pizza and crust burnt. Waiter was however very friendly and helpful, the chef must step up his game. The table behind us were also unhappy with their food.

Had a lovely staff lunch there. We ordered pizzas. You get nice condiments with tiny vetkoek to snack before your pizza arrives. A good selection of pizza and also a build a pizza option. We were there at 1pm. I'm sure at night it has more atmosphere. The staff were attentive and professional.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Constant problems. Especially their chopped chicken salad which used to be amazing until about 6 months ago when they decided to give you 2 tiny pieces of chicken in the salad. Mentioned it to the Manager and all you hear is, "Thank you for letting us know." And down goes tge phone. Pointless restaurant. Absolute thieves.

Celebrated my daughter and grand daughter's birthday here. Ten adults and 7 children. Lovely venue for such parties. We took the complete top section. Wine and drink menu have a good selection but thought it quite pricy. Pizzas reasonably prices and tasty. Service was found acceptable although we did 3 waitrons. Had a very enjoyable evening

The waiter was very nice and provided good service. I had the pulled lamb pasta, and the combination of lamb and cream made the dish slightly too rich, although it was still lovely. The pizza was good, but the serving size of the zucchini pasta was very small. Overall, a good experience.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations. It looks like casual dining from the outside, but we received nothing but the best in service and food that is top class. We loved our experience at this restaurant and will go again and recommend - even if we just go for their appetiser bread - it looks like little fried breads - simply delicious

Worst experience ever....went for mother's day lunch....food was tasteless, steak was cold and was not prepared the way I asked....we had to leave, not eating anything, and had to go to another restaurant to get a proper decent meal....highly don't recommend...

I had ordered a lasagna bolonaise meal, and I enjoyed it very much. The meal presentation was superb. However when it came to their galeto aka ice cream, it was not worth the price and I would not recommend for you to buy it. The quantity and quality cannot be compared to the meal. The customer service was excellent.

Been here a few times now and not once have I experienced bad service. The waiters are friendly and professional. The food is delicious and presentation is fantastic. A nice big variety ranging from pasta's to pizza's, grills and seafood. Sadly no ribs with any of the grills. Would highly recommend the pasta dishes.

Our dining "experience" at Casa Bella GrandWest was extremely unpleasant. The service was slow and food was not according to our specifications. This was meant to be my last non-keto meal for a while and I was left unsatisfied and disappointed. We will sadly not get back the 3 hours we invested in this evening.

I was here for dinner with friends. The service from our waitress was good. She was very friendly and happy to assist. The food was amazing too, but found 2 olive pits in my Alfredo, which does not contain olives. I told our waitress, but nothing happened of it.

I took a table for 13 pax and my food was rotten I am so disappointed at the quality of the food I hope the health dpt close them down. The biggest thing is I ate some rotten food and don't feel well now. I never recommend this place dont ever go and eat there. EVER

Ordered Creamy pork fettuccine and my partner had fettuccine alredo and we were both extremely happy with our food. Im not one that usually goes for pasta but can honestly say i enjoyed this meal. Service was nice and swift.

Went here for my birthday. Food was excellent and service was great. I had my 18 month old with and they brought him dough to play with and baked his creation which he then ate. My steak was cooked to perfection and the portions of everyone else was generous. Will see us again.

The desserts are heaven paired amazing with the dessert wine! So far we only had pizza and pasta.. The margarita was on a levelllll... Great!! Then the 2nd time we went for our anniversary. The waiter was sooo sweet have us a congratulations dessert!!! That was sooo special!

Great place to have a romantic supper. They have the best, the best, I repeat, the absolute best bread starters. It's one of the main reasons we go back everytime. Steaks are not bad for an Italian restaurant.

Lovely dinner gifted by our friends. Wiki deal where you receive 1 starter to share, 2 mains and 2 desserts. Its a set menu especially made for the wiki deal. Fast friendly service. Eloquent host on duty. Good music and vibey but not intrusive. 10 points

Grandwest is the place to meet people and see people enjoying themselves. Like a world on its own, it houses a variety of resturants, casinos, cinimas, fast food outlets, a game center and much much more. Grandwest is situated in Cape Town, Western Cape.

I enjoyed their food very much, the atmosphere was lovely warm and cozy with good food. We had a major confusion on the billing being mixed up with another table which created chaos. But it was resolved and we enjoyed the 40th birthday celebration.

Very friendly staff from the moment you arrive and the food was very nice. The supposed bottled water however tasted like tap water and there was a burnt smell in the air within the restaurant (more prevalent at the entrance).

The waiters were friendly and the food was nice my steak was so good. Just the manager needs to speak to his colleagues in a more dignified way if he is that close to customers. Definitely recommend going there.

I love Italian food and this place never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and efficient. It doesn't matter what you order, the food is exquisite. I'm so happy to have found this little gem.

We were welcomed buy the friendlies people. My son and his family visited from Auckland and they were pleasantly impressed with the food and friendly service. We will certainly be back.
