The views are beautiful and I did enjoy my burger. We has a wonderful waiter and he was very friendly and accommodating to our food order When we are, they placed us smack in the middle of the deck where we were seated but we were 8 people and I asked if they could please move us to the window because we didn't want to be where people were going to constantly pass us.. The host, I think she was, wasn't very accommodating at first, telling us about there isn't space and reserved seating and there was literally space to add 2 more table to the tables that were already at the window but we just need 1 table to be add. After she gave me all her reasons why she couldn't do it, which didn't even make sense, I had to explain to her why moving one table, won't take up space and her reserved table will still be available... only then she came back, not looking impressed because I asked nicely just move us from the up and down traffic in the centre. I don't know if they allow this but maybe ask for a specific place to be seated, when making a reservation.. And if the restaurant is busy, while there is an event, parking could be a problem In the end, we enjoyed celebrating my friend and the new journey she is on..

Had an amazing lunch at Cassia, celebrated our 17th year Anniversary. Impeccable service by all staff, they were very attentive. Made our celebration even more special. Had the black mussels in a rich creamy arrabiata sauce for a starter, slow cooked pork belly for mains, all divinely delicious sweet ending for my meal was the baked cheesecake for dessert, it was rich and decadent. Hubby had their roast beef for mains, which was like a typical British Sunday roast, with Yorkshire pudding. Our waiter Innocent, was professional and efficient. Restaurant overlooks a lake, there's indoor and out door seating. Outside area is ideal for families with young children. Sunday lunch on offer as well. Very popular during the weekend. Bookings are advised. Cocktails and extensive wine list available. There's also a cannon station just around the corner from the restaurant to explore, overlooking the lake and a water feature. Stunning vineyard scenery. Will definitely return.

Cassia, you let us down!! One of our favorites', been here umpteen times during the years and have always had a good meal. Went there yesterday for lunch with friends and had their linefish of the day, delicious swordfish......fresh, tasty, nicely presented. What we have become accustomed to. Finished off with a creme brulee......? Oh, dear!!!! Best described as a stogy dump of .....not too sure what to call it, with the thinnest sugar glaze atop, hardly fired and caramelized. And for R85....MINUTE springs to mind. If I had seen it I wouldn't have paid R45 Sorry guys, that dessert needs to go in the bin.....and you need to start again. The fact that you could deliver such devine swordfish means you know how to do it. See you next time

It was a chilly Cape Town morning, but the Cassia Restaurant was full of warmth, incredible aromas and beautiful fresh flowers. Each table has their own mini bottle of hand sanitizer, and they are exercising the standard health protocols. It is a perfect venue, to celebrate a special occasion, or to stop by for an incredible culinary experience. The food is beautifully plated, and tastes just as satisfying. Cassia have a good selection of options for children and offer high chairs for little ones. The staff are incredible and so friendly from the waiters to the managers. The venue is beautifully situated, on the side embankment of a small dam, which has a lovely centered fountain feature. It is a lovely venue and an incredible restaurant. Definitely worth a visit. Booking in advance would be advised, as the restaurant is very popular

I recently relocated from Durban to Cape Town a year ago. It was my first time at this venue and will be the last time at this venue. My family and I went for Christmas lunch yesterday. There were 12 of us. Firstly one wasn’t even welcomed at the door. How rude. It was the worst Christmas lunch I’ve ever had in my life. Portions were so small. Hardly any vegetables. Or sauce. We had an inexperienced waiter. Had to wait an hour before getting the next course. Don’t even mention the Christmas crackers. After paying R900 I thought at least I would get a decent Christmas cracker with something nice in. I was very disappointed with everything. I’m a pensioner and cannot believe how people can accept this. I definitely won’t be going there again. My family were very disappointed. Definitely overpriced for what I got.

....Exquisite venue to be sitting next to the log-fire going on a chill-lii cold wet winter morning indulging in pure insidious delicious designer breakfast meals! We simply love this venue for it beautiful picturesque location on its own lake surrounding the patio seating! Since we have had good winter rain the whole world around here is beautiful-lii green and lush! Since our last visit we noticed that they have renovated and painted making this place even more cos-ii! Staff are very friendly and efficient! The meals are always on point! We even decided to enjoy a piece of decadent chocolate cheesecake after our meal! Every thing is always on it’s place and the rest-rooms are very clean and tidy. This is a place we will always recommend as we will always be coming back here in the future!........

This beautiful venue was our first and only location viewing! One visit was enough to confirm it for our wedding day! The ceremony was held in the conference room and the reception in the glass Saffron venue and everything was perfect! All staff members, from management to waiters, were patient, understanding, kind and extremely accommodating... a dream for a paranoid bride-to-be. I enjoyed every step of the process and both us as the couple, and guests were blown away on our wedding day! I couldn't be happier. The food was lovely too. Thank you to all for making our day so magical! I highly recommend this establishment as a wedding venue!

Beautiful location and setting but the dining experience was sub par. We were seated but weren’t served for until 15 minutes. I ended up going to the front to ask if we may be served. From then, the waiter was more attentive. The meals were average tasting. Nothing too special. The pulled pork dumplings don’t work at all, they tried to westernize something that is already perfect. Biltong soup tasted like mush with no flavor. Risotto was decent, but a single dry prawn on top ? Plenty parking and easily accessible. I wouldn’t return for the food though.

Lovely restaurant with wonderful quality food. The slow roasted pork was beyond amazing! My partner had the hake and chips which was lovely as well. We got married at Nitida Wine Farm (Cassia) this Sep and Lisa and her team were absolutely incredible - the amazing support we received was unmatched - as we postponed many times due to Covid - and the team assisted up every step of the way. Our entire wedding went exactly to plan, the service we received from the wait staff, bar staff, and management on the day were incredible. The venue was perfection. The food was exactly what we wished it to be. We cannot thank Lisa and her team enough for the phenomenal job.

My starter was nice, my colleague's spring roll pastry was soggy on the inside. Mains were a disaster. Mine was pork belly with polenta and Asian veg and a peach or something chutney. It was a huge piece of overcooked pig meat, soggy polenta, almost no veg and massive pieces of fruit with lots of chilli. Hers was a well done burger but the patty was literally burnt to a crisp. They removed that off the bill so a plus for that. At those prices one expects much better food. And cleaner floors.

Spent our 4th year Anniversary at the Restaurant with our little one just the other day. Hubby and I enjoyed the food so much coz it's scrumptious. Our food was served before the 2 long tables. The service was fast and efficient. At the end of our meal we were given a surprise by the staff and we were moved by the little things that made our Anniversary unforgettable. Kudos to Cassia Restaurant team. ❤

Lovely afternoon spent at Cassia restaurant. We sat on the terrace next to the dam where wild Proteas are growing along the banks and ducks are paddling within. The food was amazing, we ordered 5 starters to share... Grapefruit salad, pork dumplings, pulled lamb phyllo parcels and mussels. And then desserts, vegan chocolate mousse with dark chocolate coconut truffles (out of this world delish) and butterscotch pudding. Great service and clean washrooms.

Last night was an awesome experience celebrating our Anniversary returning to the very same venue where we exchanged vows back in 2015. From a warm welcome on an icy evening to delicious meals, great wine and yummy desserts. To the gentleman (I forget his name) who opened the function venue and allowed us to reminisce of our Wedding Day. Much appreciated. Thanks Team Cassia!

Quaint little restaurant in the Nitida wine farm, there was a wedding taking place in the farm while we were there for lunch a couple of month's back. The view from the outside seating was good, service was quick. The breads served whilst we where waiting for our food were awesome. Food was nice. Wines were amazing in our opinion. Overall a great experience, I loved the Red Wines here and would recommend everyone to buy red wines from this wine farm.

Changing my review from 4 to 3 stars. Waited at least 10 mins for our plates to be cleared despite at least 4 staff and a manager walking past our table with all four plates waiting and ready. There after another 10 mins followed before our server came to offer more drinks or dessert. The food as usual could not be faulted, including drinks. What has let a restaurant of this caliber down has been the unattentive and lower than expected service.

Disappointing breakfast. Latte was sour, plate had a hair like an eyebrow or eyelash on it. Food was ok…the omelette was dry. Area on deck was dusty and cobwebs. And saw a spider on the bread basket. Disgusting Have been to other farm restaurants and never experienced this level of shabbiness and so many issues. With so many farm Winery restaurants to choose from, why would I want to subject myself to that️️

Seems like a hidden restaurant but sure the locals know this spot well. Burger was very tasty with lots of fries but paid R155 which is a bit on the high side. Menu is not huge and general pricing is not for everyone's budget. There are some canons on the outside and a gentleman there showed us the little hut museum that he is trying to promote.

The choice of drinks aren't for everyone, feels like the sweetener was removed lol however a nice experience, the cheese platter was okay not great, the one bread felt like it stood too long out in the air, and the glazed onions weren't something i eat. the Vegan Arancini was very good, a bit too much of one taste however a very good meal to share, you get three balls the size of a kidney i would assume

We always drive past here, when we decide to take a drive out. We spontaneously decided to try cassia at nitida wine estate. We really enjoyed the experience. Awesome setting and location. Beautiful glass panes surround the restaurant to reveal the stunning wine farm. Stopped for coffee but its really a restaurant, not a coffee shop. The restaurant menu looks good but not having dined I can't comment. Only had coffee and the cheesecake dessert which was good but quite costly when looking for coffee and cake. The view from the restaurant is very nice and the fireplace creates a comfortable and friendly ambience.

Celebrated my birthday with family and friends. They were able to accommodate all of us and booked a table with one day's notice. We had a great lunch, the food was amazing and enjoyed the views Nitida has to offer. Definitely worth the visit.

Went for anniversary dinner, unfortunately the service wasn't great. Didn't feel welcome and the waiter seemed to want to rush us from the start of us being there and wasn't friendly. Unfortunately the Fillet was quite tough too which was a let down. The venue is incredibly beautiful, and the Pork Belly was very nice..

We decided to book for their Tuesday date night special. You get a starter, main and a glass of either red or white wine for R395*. Their "normal" menu caters for all tastes and obviously they have a great wine selection. The food was good, the wine was good and the service was good. I would definitely go there again.

Amazing venue, really great food and service is the best too. Loads of parking right outside too. Our meal on Valentines day was a great beef roast with Yorkshire pud and a medley of lovely spring veg and roast potatoes. The local wines recommended to accompany the meal were great too. Highly recommended

What an incredible experience! The wine is great, the venue is beautiful and perfect for a winter's night with its fireplace, and the food was spectacular! The venison shank was falling off the bone and the pork belly was out of this world! This was my first visit, but I will definitely be back!

We absolutely love going to sit at Cassia on the deck. Beautiful view overlooking a little lake with great quality food and friendly service. During the week its a great place to have a quiet dinner or just do desert as we sometimes do.

Cassia has a fairly extensive set lunch menu. While it is located on the Nitida wine farm, they also serve wines from other farms as well as a fairly extensive range of beers. A good experience with some great views to be had.

Usually good but not today, awful milkycoffee, hard poachedehgswhenweasked for soft, strange flapjacks,like bagels,thechef was having a bad day!!!

My gf and I had 3 courses and it was incredible. Mussel starter, wagu beef burger and hazelnut chocolate Creme Brulee. Well worth the cost.

The food was delicious but the service was a bit slow. As we were a big table I think there should have been 2 waiters to attend to us.

My sirloin steak with mash was perfectly cooked and so tender. The waiter was very friendly and their Nitida bubbly is delicious!
