I was delighted to stumble upon the labyrinth today. It is nicely crafted and the experience of walking this journey was lovely. A great experience to slowly carry oneself through this space into and out of the centre. The explanation and music that is offered were both very helpful, even if I only found them after the experience.
It's very simple and very intricate at the same time. The paving is a wonderful show of tradesman skills.Listened to a show on abc radio on how and why it was built. Its a lovely space and would recomend a walk around.Brings you back to bring a child when not walking on the cracks was as much fun and as interesting as your phone.
Not sure what to say? To be honest I was expecting a little more aMAZEment. It's smaller than expected and would probably suit children better than clumsy adults. Still, it is in one of the best parks in Sydney, so the disappointment doesn't last too long.
Beautiful very large park, with playing fields, water ponds, many different bird varieties and playing areas for kids. It's a popular spot for runners and cyclists and even horse riders. Very family friendly. You can drive into the centre
I spend a great deal of time at the Labyrinth. I am a bit of a neurotic sort and walking the long winding path while counting my steps and thinking about a problem has often surprisingly provided a solution. It's the perfect mix of active
Plenty of options for relaxing or exercising. Cafes/restaurant open for breakfast and lunch, or bring a picnic lunch (tables available or a picnic rug). Massive area close to the city (Sydney) More
Ok but a bit limited since there are no choices of turns to make, you just follow the path from start to finish (yes I know that’s the definition of a labyrinth - don’t be thinking it’s a maze!!)
Lovely space for a mindful walk. Really beautiful location inside the park. Easy enough to find. We also had lunch at a cafe in the park after our walk which was really nice.
Beautiful quiet spot in the middle of Centennial Park. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that the labyrinth could have been a bit bigger to facilitate easier walking.
Walking the labyrinth gently takes around 5 minutes in either direction, I recommend scanning the QR code to listen to the music specifically composed for it.
The path keeps the journey interesting. I enjoyed discovering it's secrets. The path is quite thin, I wish the whole labyrinth was double the size, or more.
Simple pattern on the ground. Beautifully designed. Not a game as there's only one way possible, but a path of reflection and questioning.
Amazing outdoor spot for yoga and mindfulness activities, away from the hustle bustle of other spots in Centennial Park More
Beautiful, hudge, park. Can walk for hours without stopping of being amazed by the views and animals.
Often go to walk the Labyrinth and then have coffee. Staff are friendly and the food is tasty.
Perfect for kids who can walk and for summer time with a water game area
Great spot for a kids party
