"I came to dine here pretty late one Thursday evening"
"Terrible place People there are very rude"
"Full at 7pm on a Wednesday evening, the majority,Asian people, tells me this place is doing lots of things right"
"You will usually always get a table, never once been booked out, we have been coming here for years"
"I've been coming here for many years and there is very good reason for that"
I came to dine here pretty late one Thursday evening. The customer service was great; however, the waitress could have smiled more. Granted... I was there pretty late. The meals looked sensational but tasted ... 'rushed' - for want of a better word. The Salt and pepper squid was too salty and the sizzling Mongolian lamb definitely sizzled- and ended there. The sauce was thick and tasted as if it barely had time to reduce and meld with the lamb and veg. The lamb itself was also chewy...cooked but chewy. The fried rice was so-so. I think my favourite dish of night was the starter- Sang Choy bow even if it was quite salty/sweet. All in all, I believe my meal experience here fell short due to timing. Had I dined an hour or so earlier, perhaps my meals would have tasted as good as they looked. Customer service was nice enough. They were attentive and obliging. I enjoy a traditional Chinese setting for a restaurant but 'Lees' could do with a makeover. The decor is dated and feels 'old'. For such a longstanding establishment I think it can afford to revamp it's image within the aged and ageing central business park area of Thornleigh. 3 stars.
Terrible place People there are very rude. I think they are not from Hong Kong for sure. No service at all. Not surprising that they are not educated at all. In my experience They always collect everything from my table if I leave the table. I think is because they want to open the table for someone else. If you don't want to hear terrible singing don't go there or pay and leave as quickly as you can. The man at the counter always try to hymns songs. But very irritating there was one occasion that the 3 ladies asked this man what is he doing. He just replied that he was just singing anything and then the three ladies laughed.

Full at 7pm on a Wednesday evening, the majority,Asian people, tells me this place is doing lots of things right. Our party of 5 didnt have to wait long for a table and within minutes we were enjoying our ice cold drinks perusing the menu and enjoying the " buzzing" atmosphere. Meals were delicious , not huge portions so dont be afraid to order starters. A small hiccup when two of our 5 meals did not arrive but once this was pointed out they arrived quickly with many apologies.2 alcoholic drinks each,5 meals, 2 sides, one starter and unlimited refreshing tea cost just over $200. We will certainly return

You will usually always get a table, never once been booked out, we have been coming here for years. The service is always polite and friendly and the new wait staff seem very good, although Sunday night wait times too long. The Mongolian lamb, honey king prawns, san choi bow excellent, but the fried rice was NOT very good and well below standard. (Try Beijing Duck Restaurant around the corner if you want the best fried rice in Sydney). Lift your game Lee Central Park! Sadly the fried rice wasn't fresh and looked like it had been mixed up with leftovers from the night before and was a little bit salty. Price wasn't too bad, my only other gripe, the outside windows need a good clean, it could deter customers.
I've been coming here for many years and there is very good reason for that. The food has been consistently excellent, both quality and taste. Prices are very reasonable Plenty of onsite parking There is a lift for people that need it They can accommodate large groups Staff are friendly Food was tasty Servings are a generous size Fruit is provided Soup is provided Oh man .. the list goes on.

Being a white Australian with my family on fathers day went out to enjoy some authentic Chinese, unfortunately waiter was somewhat pushy to order but what has really annoyed me was the being served food to us (white Aussies) was pretty close to the chinese you would expect at the bowling club in a country town if not worse, not only did the waiter tried to pass on velvertised beef as fillet steak but then tried to charge me for fillet, which I confirmed during the meal with another waiter that it was infact velvertised beef. I am well travelled and well eaten all over the world including China, all in all a pretty disappoining experience .

Would give it 1/2 star if available. Ordered 3 dishes as takeaway but quality has declined significantly since we were there a year ago. Ordered Mongolian lamb (lamb was ok was no veggies and a lot of onions), combination chow mein (noodles were fine but barely any other items such as meat and veggies) and boneless lemon chicken . The chicken was the worst dish of the lot and the worst dish I have had for a very long time - thickly battered and super tough and chewy. Basically inedible. Cannot recommend this place, at least not for takeaway.

I had reunion with school friends last week 23rd Sep 2022. Lees is a quality Chinese restaurant . Ideal for parties and functions. The food is fresh and tasty. Food and drinks are modestly priced. The deep fried ice cream desert is magnificent and only $8. Terrific to see Sweet and Sour Pork on the menu. I have been dining on occasions at Lees , every year for 15 . Always come back. Also many Chinese customers which is a good sign. Make a booking.

Food - authentic Cantonese dishes, Hong Kong style, our favourite go-to Chinese restaurant in the past 20+ years. Their seafood is as good as what you will get in Chinatown (is not better) and reasonably priced. They serve congee, fried rice and noodles at lunch, and dinner is everything from homestyle Cantonese dishes to Peking Duck. Service - owner is always responsive to feedback and it has always been a pleasant experience for us. Price - if you don’t order seafood, price can be very budget. Around $20 to $25 per person. 5 stars for consistently great food and service for the past two decades!
Food was reasonably priced for Thursday to Monday menu only as they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. For around $17-$25.

Had lunch there today with a large group. In regards to some other comments, we are not Chinese but the service was outstanding. Treated exactly the same as every one else there. We could get any waiter’s attention whenever we wanted. Our orders were complicated and yet they never made a mistake bringing our food which was brought out quickly. Our bill was accurate and the prices are very cheap for the amount of food you’re getting. Loved the honey prawns and the shredded beef in Peking sauce. Many thanks.
The food was better than many/most Chinese restaurants in the area but not as good as what I would get from a similar level restaurant in China. I expect better at this price point and they need to lift their game a bit. On sitting down I noticed a chip in the edge of my plate. That was sharp. I expect the staff to notice the damage and not use the plate.

The best Chinese food I've ever tasted . If your looking for traditional authentic Chinese food both dine in or take away. Then look no further. This is off the charts. Fresh & absolutely delicious.. Ample parking inside the complex & a lift is available for anyone who can't take the stairs.. located on the 2nd floor, looks & feels like a Chinese restaurant with lazy Susan's at your tables.. You won't be disappointed Guaranteed.
4.8 - Family favourite for lunches/dinners over the years with superb fish congee and delicious dough sticks, E-fu noodles, Beef and Veg Rice Noodles. So delicious and quick to the table! So efficient! Had dinner the other night - loved the XO Pippies on the hot side and vermicelli underneath, Chicken wasn't as tender as it could be but love the Yin Yang fried rice and house soup.
Been aaaages since we've had a family dinner here. Sooo tasty.. The dry fried beef, Chiu Yum pork ribs, Kailan stir fry with garlic and Keong Choong Yee Min Lobster all washed down with Chinese tea or a REAL man's drink.. 'Pink Lemonade' ❤️.. Everytime we come here it's always a great feast with friendly staff! I highly recommend
Very typical chinese restaurant in the suburbs. Parking is not a problem and if there is a downside, i took my little one next door to McDo... to the bathroom. Other than that, everything you would expect from a chinese outlet. Staff is a bit hurried, arrogant, unfriendly, what ever the word is, but which one isn't. From banquet to simple dishes, a delight.
Changed ownership, noticeable deletion of menu available. Slow service, added $3 corkage and credit card fee. Could understand what downstairs restaurant had more diners than this once popular dining experience

So my experience had been mixed. But all in all I been quite happy. The congee here in particular is what it’s known for so they are generally quite good. Fried dishes also quite good and for the price is quite reasonable actually. I have to agree with 1 of the 1 star reviews though where I feel I got cheated by the lobster weight...
I was there a few weeks agothe place was packed the food was 10/5 stars...the lemon chicken was crunchy batter even when in the sauce.. the free prawn crackers upon sitting down was a lovely gesture...the fried rice was superb.....highly recommend this place

Been a while since we’ve been here, only due to covid but was craving congee and radish cake. Ordered the stuffed bean curd and combination egg noodles, all yummy and very reasonably priced. Food was a good feed and all the food nice and hot when it came out. Definitely worth a try, support local businesses.
Normally this place is pretty good, but tonight was a miss. Takeaway order was wrong and missing items. Combo chow mein only had 1 type of veggie and not much of it. For the price you pay, I wouldn’t come back in a hurry. Definitely check your takeaway pick up is a) correct and b) has everything you ordered.
Traditional olden seafood restaurant, food were fresh and havy flavours like how it should be, price are very good, portion great. Friendly service overall great

It's a fantastic place to take your family out for any occasions ie birthdays, festive seasons etc. Pricewise - it is "value for money" with great service. Because of these reasons, we have been going there for 29 years. The owners know all of our 4 generations. More
As usual this place didn't let down, good food & service. Was quaint atmosphere with Chinese instrumental music playing, not as busy as normal. All in all a solid local place when you can't be bothered cooking. Vegetable Sang Choy Bow & Fried Sticky Rice in pics.
The food is delicious and the 4 and 8 people dinner package deal is good price. We have nine people ordered the 8 people set dinner package plus added an extra dish. The average is $20.- per head. Excellent cook and well done. You need to make booking.
Came here tonight from rural NSW. What an amazing find, last time I had something this tasty was in HK 2 years ago. Food is not only authentic and full of flavour and fresh but they even when asked cooked us up some Chinese mushrooms of the
We went there for dinner which we regret. It was extremely challenging to get the waiter's attention to place our order. Our meals came out one hour after our arrival. The lobster we ordered they said weighted 1.5 Kg which did not look any
I'm coeliac and am always quite nervous about ordering Chinese, there was very little detail on their website but I thought it worthwhile to call! We ordered Mongolian Lamb, Chicken and Cashew-Nut, Special Fried Rice and Honey chicken. All
The food was okay. However, be careful if you get the banquet because they don’t give you the fried rice and just give you the white rice. We had to ask for the fried rice but then they added an additional fried rice to the bill. I picked
Standard Cantonese fare. Been around forever and overall quite reliable for some good old Cantonese dishes.

Disgusting service. Man at counter gave us a dirty look when we asked for a receipt when paying. I thought that was something a business should provide. Food was overpriced and average. will never visit again. More
This authentic Chinese seafood restaurant has been around for more than 30 years! The quality of the food is second to none! The seafood produce is fresh and price is fair! Highly recommended! More

If you’re after a traditional Hong Kong meal this is the place to go. Very reasonably priced, with food reminding me of Hong Kong. This place feels like home.
Combination fried rice noodles was not well cooked.Braised chicken was just average. The food used to be very good, not tonight.Could be a different cook. More
Lee Central Restaurant has been in this location, more than 30 years never change owners. Price of dishes are reasonable n competive.
Food: Lots of good quality traditional Chinese dishes on the menu, including vegetarian options. Food price is reasonable.
