We had a dinner tonight. It was so busy even we booked a table already. We were waiting for maybe around 20 minutes. After that , we got table. Suddenly, had 1 Lebanese 55-60s , almost yelled at me about taking that table , he said that to the lady waitress) said to him before that when previous customer of that table finish , he can have that one. Actually, that was so busy time , the lady staff gave to us that table and he also got table too( but maybe that one he did not like it) but we are waiting as well. And then we decided to double check with her , he was angry about the table but it is not a big deal. i was willing to give the table we got to him to switch. we sat another table . that guy customer was rude and ridiculous. At the end of our dinner , the lovely lady waitress ( short , nice , friendly , her english very well ) gave to us a free dessert.. to say sorry about that situation happened. The customer service in here always put priority. Food was amazing. Highly recommend

Do you want Chinese Food, at an affordable price...... well here's the place for you, the "GOLDEN KING 2000 Chinese Restaurant" located along Green Valley road, Green Valley ........ i used love the food so much that i'd take my elderly mother to dine there 2-3 times per week. Now i'm lucky to get there once per week. Food is good (when they get the order right) service is "fair - ok" price is average, it'd be a great all round restaurant if you can get service when you sit down instead of being made to wait until they finish having their conversations, i've been going to Golden King 2000 for many years, but now i think it's time to start looking somewhere else to take my mother for lunch ............................. what more could you wish for "quicker service, correct order, cooked properly" - i could go on & on & on! Their service & food has gone out the window" ...... And i really thought years ago i'd found the perfect Restaurant to eat at, BUT................ they'll need to serve the Customers & Food the way they should be served or lose my business!!!!!!

Very rude customer service and the staff have no manners. Had a booking at 7:30, at 8:10 we asked when will we be seated and one of the staff kept yelling saying she has to sit people by numbers and she doesn’t care who has a booking and kept talking about how some people are late etc. when we told her it was just a question and there was no need for her to fight with us, she walked in the middle of the restaurant screaming that she’s trying to do her job. At this point everyone was looking and then she proceeded to yell at other people waiting in the line behind us. We were seated and then just walked out because we were not gonna spend our money there. She should be fired!

Not the best Chinese. Black bean dish was tasteless, sweet n sour pork was served with massive chunks of pork and an interesting take on the sauce, calamari pretty good, prawn dish pretty good but certainly not king prawn as listed on the menu. To get to the toilet was like a horror movie, dirty, wet, flashing lights and massive hole in the roof which was a bit concerning! Ombience non existant and lit up like a christmas tree.... customer service however was brilliant! And the fact you can bring any drink in you want! That is all....

Ordered take away, to be delivered, fried rice Singapore noodles with extra spice, salt and pepper pork ribs, honey chicken, steamed dim sims and a long soup. We didnt get the pork ribs but did receive a short soup not ordered. When we contacted them they tried to insist on giving us a credit bit we refused. So they said it would be approx 30 mins for ribs to be redelivered. When they came 45 mins later it turned out to be ribs but in a strange saucy covering. The Singapore noodles were tastless. The honey chicken was only just passable. This place use to be the go to for Chinese. Unfortunately I wont be going there again.

Simply amazing staff and feed. Love their dishes and my favourite is the Singapore chilli crabs and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Lots of tables however book in advance. You won’t be disappointed. Live muddies, fish, lobster etc is available. Highly recommended and this is one of my favourites.

Extremely rude customer service, i had a booking at 7:30 and waited for 40 minutes, when i asked what the wait was about I was yelled at by one of the older waitress (named pony), she disregarded my question and rudely yelled at me, causing a scene where everyone was looking in shock at us. I did not yell back as I had manners that the waitress clearly was lacking. I got seated at 8:10 and didn't feel comfortable and welcomed so I left. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO SUCH A PLACE THAT HAS SUCH RUDE STAFF.

This is a good Chinese seafood restaurant. Their dishes are good quality made. It's environment is only lacking a premium feel which is not a deal breaker and somewhat common in these kind of restaurants. They only allow BYO alcohol, they do not carry any alcohol. You can get some next door and bring it in. The senior waiters seem to be able to speak multiple Asian languages, mainly Chinese and Vietnamese.

Another local Chinese restaurant that is very popular. The foods were great and customer service is exceptional especially "pony" who always smile and do above and beyond to make the customer happy. Only give 4 stars as the restaurant is mostly crowded so an expansion would be ideal.

I ordered deep fried barramundi, lemon chicken and cicken fried rice. Came and pick up order, thay forgot to put in the chicken fried rice. I rang up and ask if thay could deliver it instead because it will take to long for me to go back, 20min there 20min back. Thay said it will take over an hour for the driver to deliver it. So I'm forced to get a $8.50 store credit and eat my cold meal without rice.

One of the best Chinese restaurant I have been to. Came here on a Saturday night and intended to order takeaway only. The staff were so welcoming from the moment we entered that we decided to dine in. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. Not salty or oily like other Chinese food. Highly recommended! Great value lunch special meals are a very good draw card, and there are a number of very well prepared a la carte menu items. We decided to splash out and order a mud crab from the tank on this visit, which was prepared Hong Kong style. It was absolutely delicious! Friendly staff, and good food, you can't go wrong.

Anyone claiming a restaurant is "westernised" just wants to feel like they are better than you for knowing a restaurant you don't. We are in the west, all restaurants have some kind of western influence. This place is always packed and the booking system works about as good as a Sydney train, so prepare for a wait. It's worth it though the food is fantastic. I recommend the seafood.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sydney. Quality of food is excellent. Lots of meal choices including fresh seafood straight from the tanks. Staff are wonderful with prompt service and very friendly. Available for takeaway and dining but you may need to book for dinners because they are very busy. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this place. Golden King has become somewhat of a local legend in this area. The food is delicious, flavourful and served fresh. There’s a reason it’s packed pretty much every night! Parking may be an issue on busy days, but there is plenty of street parking available too. Good service and a lively atmosphere!

Been here once before and it wasn't great but I wanted to find it another try it. Really disappoied, they serve westernised Chinese food, which isn't authentic. The fried rice didn't haven't dragon's breath and had canned ham? The salt & pepper squid was so salty and the hot pot had no taste.

I was really surprised by how good this place actually was. We went there for my in laws celebration and the place was packed, you’d think that because it’s packed the quality of service would drop. Awful and just disappointing. Made reservations for dinner 7:30pm was asked to wait 10 mins then was informed AFTER waiting 15 min that no table was available till 8:45pm. I understand it was Saturday night but don’t take reservations if you cannot honour bookings!!

This is our local regular restaurant were here every week sometimes twice a week and every time we come the food and service is better and better!! We love all the staff they're like family

Staff cleaning and sorting a big bucket of cutlery right next to my table. Noise was deafening. Thought it was a bit odd. Usually these things are done after hours or inside the kitchen?
